Sarabeth had been given permission to have a longer break from the Dojo in order to be with her son when the Senator came to his school. Of course the human man would be on a course to protect his son from the alien trash who had dared to stand up rather than lie down to be walked over. However, he did not expect that the alien would have a human woman standing behind him. Or that she would be against everything he said about aliens knowing their place.
This did not deter Senator Martin. However what did deter him was when that usuper Commander Thrawn came into the office and Martin realized that the boy who had hurt his son was the miniature of the Commander. However Thrawn barely paused to acknowledge the Senator and his son, instead Thrawn crossed over to the human woman behind his miniature and said something. To the Senators' anger she was happy that Thrawn had come and said something back to him.
The principal of the school cleared his throat to gain their attention. Then looking at Thrawn, "Who are you?"
It looked like the Principal was going to say more but Thrawn answered, "I am Commander Thrawn of the Thunder Wasp. As for why I am here, I have been teaching the boy what it is to be a warrior." Continuing with looking the Principal directly in the eye with his strange glowing ones, "The boys teacher informed us that it was an issue."
Sarabeth Wing slipped in, "Because Thrawn is a Chiss like my son, I thought it would be good for him to teach my boy more about their race." Looking at the Senator with a challenge, "That includes teaching Jinn defense against those who would do harm."
Thrawn bowed his head slightly, "I am only adding on to your excellent teaching in that area."
The Principal looked like he would say something else, however his secretary came in then. Hurring over to him the agitated woman whispered into his ear. With a nod of acknowledgement she rushed back to the door and let someone else in. Senator Martin did not turn to see who it was but saw the recognition and chagrin on his son's face. Turning he saw Senator Se'lab and a young Bothian girl.
Recognizing the look of fear on the young Bothians face it took a moment for Martin to realize that his son was causing the fear. However the young Chiss boy hurried up to her and took her hand, "It's alright." She visibly relaxed and smiled shyly up at him.
Senator Se'lab was watching the girls' reactions carefully, and his fur movements showed that he had made a decision.
