For the next three days the Wings were on the Bothian home planet, mother and son highly enjoyed themselves. Jinn's simple joy as he jumped through fountains in the old town, Jinn and Le'nea playing tag in the park with a few of Le'neas' cousins. However Sarabeth always remained watchful. She knew how quickly things could change.
Sarabeth was sitting in the garden of the house they were staying after telling Jinn for the third time he needed to focus on finishing his breakfast. He was so anxious to tell Thrawn everything that they had been doing that he kept forgetting to eat. They got the answer he sent after she told him of her suspicions with Moff Ghadi and the supposed body guard that was sent to them. However she needed to keep up the strong image for Jinn.
Sitting less relaxed than usual, she watched Jinn chattering before reminding him again about the food he was supposed to be eating. Making a perimeter sweep she saw one of the guards wasn't at his post. He hadn't been there for the last five minutes, maybe a little longer.
Swallowing she spoke conversationally to Jinn, "Now where could Tu'vulu have gotten to?"
Her boy shrugged, and kept talking to Thrawn. She stood up and walked along the edge of the garden where she could still see Jinn. Then just as she reached a corner that would have hidden him she saw the slumped body of Tu'vulu. Stopping just long enough to find that he was killed she turned on her heel and ran to her boy.
Jinn had jumped out of his chair and was trying to fight off four grown men. They were getting the better of the fight until Sarabeth jumped in. Knocking two of their heads together she kicked the legs out from under a third and punched the forth with more of them coming as she screamed, "Jinn! Get back to the house!"
Using a grabbed chair she hit two more attackers and they each went down before the chair broke. Not caring about if she escaped, only if her son did, Sarabeth let a few punches in that she normally wouldn't have. It took another five minutes of her keeping the attackers occupied before the security started running at them. With that the leader of the attackers seemed to make a decision before signaling the others. All four rushed her at once and she felt a hypo in her arm before she was slung over the shoulder of one of the men and they ran for their lives.
