Kuri tapped angrily on the car window as they drove a long. "Just a few more miles."
"What's going on?" Kevin snapped.
"It's our brother, Cole." Reiko said. "He was acting strangely. Then he attacked Kuri last night and went off on his own."
"Wait, hold on...you have a brother?!" Ben said.
"A mortal brother." Kuri said. "Every time something happens, he gets hurt, or wrapped up, or killed...Cole is strong, but it isn't fair at all."
Ben went to comfort her, but saw she was not in the mood. "You can't blame yourself."
"Yes I can. He was interested in the DNAliens." Kuri said. "He's very smart. He thinks they are a parasite of some kind. And now they are feeding on him...GO FASTER KEVIN!"
"Don't snap at me like that!" Kevin growled back.
"Enough both of you!" Reiko hissed. "We're here."
Kuri leapt out of the car, and was climbing up the ship before they could get to her.
Ben had to turn into Jetray to keep up. "Kuri please, you have to let us help—"
"Help Max. He's in there. I don't have time to divide my focus." Kuri landed in the ship and slipped in to the group of DNAliens, glamouring as one of them.
Ben was surprised, but flew in, making it in with the others and finding Grandpa Max planning to take down the ship with himself.
Kuri tackled a DNAlien below and ripped at the parasite.
The Omnitrix beeped. Ben knew he had to help Cole, despite what it meant for Max.
He looked up at Max.
"Don't do this." Ben said.
"You know I have to. And you know you have to save Cole. Save as many as you can." Max said. "It's your turn."
"No...No..."
"BEN PLEASE!" Kuri cried, reaching for him.
The Omnitrix beeped and he felt himself subdued to the genetics, even as the explosion overwhelmed them all.
It was over.
