Commander Thrawn is not the only Chiss in the Empire. The other is a seven year old boy, who is being raised by a human woman. What happens when their paths are crossed? How will having the chance at a family affect the Commander? A fic for those who want to see a more parental/family side to the cold and calculating Thrawn. And him using that for his Families good.

19. Chapter 19 Thrawn's Controlled Panic

Thrawn paced his quarters, this was the hour allotted for sleep. But that was for the humans immune system and he was not human.

Suddenly the comm on his desk came to life, "Thrawn," he answered.

"Commander," said the night watch communications officer, "Cornel Yularen as sent a message for you."

"Very well, sent it though." What information had he gained?

Cornel Yulare's face filled the screen, "Thrawn, we gained information that the Mandolorains who captured were working for a shadow buyer. He was called 'Grysk'. However she escaped two days ago along with another prisoner they were supposed to return to 'Grysk'." Looking out of the screen, "I know you will be looking for them, and the last time they were seen they were heading towards Dathomir from around Tatooine. Good Luck." The picture faded after he signed off.

Already starting to calculate trajectories, Thrawn pulled up a map. Where would they likely be? And who was with Sarabeth?
