A Different Fairy Tail
Episode 7: Fire, White, and Wind!
It wasn't long that Erza let Luke and Lucy tend to the defeated Eisenwald Wizards to see if she could get the citizens or very least everyone facing the station evacuated. Luke and Lucy tied up most of the Eisenwald members, with plenty of their weapons destroyed and damaged by Erza, Luke, and Lisanna dealt on them, no way could any of them fight back. Luke was tying up one of the dark guild wizards, his thoughts on Erigor's plan.
'Erigor, the ace of Eisenwald, wants to use the death flute Lullaby on the citizens of Oshibana and took over this station. If he's going to broadcast it, I hope the others can keep Kyuri and Gray from fighting each other to deal with the reaper. But something is bothering me, is that their plan, or,' Luke thought, finishing tying of the dark guild member up, not noticing him trying to reach for a weapon with his feet, 'are we in some trap set up by the Reaper? Wait!' finally realizing what the dark guild wizard was doing and slammed him to the ground with one arm and grabbing on of his blades with left.
"Ahhh, you damn brat, get off!" the dark guild wizard screamed before grabbing one of his blades to his neck, making the wizard turn white.
"You were trying to get that weapon, were you not? You think I'm stupid to let you try to get free?" Luke asked, the tone of his voice much more darker. Pushing the dark guild wizard on his stomach, he got up and walked to the weapon he was trying to get, "Had to be something to try to grab this." up trapping the cloth from the weapon, a sword in a sheath. Grabbed the sword grip, he pulled out a sword. It was rapier, long and thin looking blade, cyan blue with a green guard. Luke's eyes lit up in amazement. "No way, a rare rapier, I can't believe it. How did a dark guild get their hands on this?"
"Luke!" Lucy called out on one side of the terminal, "I finished tying up a few of the knocked out Eisenwald members. What do you have?" she asked, seeing the sword in the Sun Dragon Slayer's possessions.
"One of the dark guild members I was tying up had it. It's one of the rare swords I was looking for." he explained, sheathing it into its sheath.
"Really. I never seen a weapon like that before. What are they anyway?" she asked, hands behind her back.
"Swords from another continent, they said they've existed for 100s of years, no one knows who made them but are many rare collectors will pay fortunes to get them. My Dragon gave me my two blades before he vanished. I was still young, only a year of Sting and Natsu having them when I came to join Fairy Tail," he looked at Lucy and then at the rapier, thinking what to do with now that he had it. He held out the sheathed blade to Lucy, shocking her, "Here, I think it would suit you, Lucy-san."
"What, me?" she asked bewildered, just handed over a weapon like this, "but, I, I never used a real weapon outside my whip. You wanted to find these weapons, it wouldn't be right if I have it."
"But you helped us with the Eisenwald members, I want to reward you, you know?" he replied.
"I guess so," she responded back, looking at the blade. Luke did have a point, she did help, even if it was just to impress Erza. but she did help regardless, so she matter enough to be here. Then it as something Lisanna mention that she said: you need to be more brave in yourself, don't be so scared. She needs to be brave, like Lisanna, Sting, and Kyuri. Maybe learning to fight differently might help her. He looked from Luke to the blade and back to Luke again. Showing a little anxious look but held the blade still, "I'll keep it, thanks, Luke."
"You're welcome, Lucy-san. Oh, here a blade holster for it. I always keep a few supplies just in case of emergencies." and Luke dug into his pockets and pulled out a brown leather holster, looking it would attach to her belt. Taking it, she clipped it to her left hip and slid the rapier and sheath into it. It weighed more than her whip, she will have to get use to be lugging around more weight than usual. Luke looked at Lucy, putting a hand to his hair, "You look like commander with it."
"Really?"she asked, cocking her own head before footsteps caught the two Wizards' attention. Erza had returned much sooner than normally, it looks like she wasn't okay as it seems concern was on her face. "Erza, you're back!"
"Did something happen. Wait, your arm!" Luke exclaimed, looking to her arm.
"I'm fine. We have another problem. Erigor has trapped us in a wind barrier." Erza explained ad the two gasped.
"What?!" they shouted.
"Yes. Right now, let's finish dealing the Eisenwald members here, then find a way out of the barrier. Maybe one of these Dark Guild Wizards might know." Erza suggested. Luke and Lucy nodded, knowing right now, they should leave making sure the Eisenwald members are tied up.
Time passed and with the efforts of Erza, Luke, and Lucy, they were able to tie up the remaining Eisenwald members. The last of few left, Erza had asked him: how to break the wind barrier? Lucy and Luke stood beside her, hoping he had answers. Erza held one of the defeated members by the collar.
"Forget it! It's impossible! You know we can't undo the magic barrier…" spoke the dark haired mage weakly.
"They have to know, who could?" Lucy pondered.
"Erza, Luke, Lucy!" a voice called from above.
Erza, Lucy, and Luke turned their head to their right side to see Gray and Cyan on the second floor, his hands on the banister.
"Gray, Cyan! Wasn't Kyuri and Sting with you?!" Erza asked.
"We split up! But never mind that for now!" Gray replied back. "Eisenwald's real target is the town up ahead!"
"What?!" The three gasped in shock.
"Gramps' and the others' conference!" Cyan confirmed. "They plan to use Lullaby there!"
Erza looked back at the rave haired mage; an angry fiery expression was on her face. "Is that so?!" she roared, causing the to scream in fright.
"They trapped us here?" Lucy asked, a bit of panic her face.
"I knew I had a bad feeling. We were set up to come here so their real plan could go without us getting in the way." Luke confirmed, gripping his hand tightly.
Erza look back at Gray, "This station is surrounded by a Magic Wind Wall, though."
"Yeah, I saw it." Gray replied back. He walks down from the top floor to the bottom floor to find Erza had released the mage and was now clutching her arm. "Try and break out and it'll turn you into mincemeat."
"I already tried." Erza stated, still holding her arm.
Cyan gasped to see her nursed arm. "Erza, Your arm…!"
"It's nothing…" she responded calmly. "But as we speak, Erigor is nearing the masters." Erza paused, realizing something. "Come to think of it, there was some in Eisenwald named Kage." Erza look back to Gray and Cyan, "He manage to break Lullaby's seal all by himself."
"A dispeller…" Gray thought out loud then realized, "A spell breaking Mage?! He can remove the Magic Wind Wall too!"
The raven haired wizard grunted in anger, turning his head from Erza and Gray.
"If this Kage guy is still in the Station with us, if we catch him…" Lucy began.
"We'll make him release the Magic Wind Wall and stop Erigor,, great idea Gray. Btu he's somewhere, think we'll find him in time? Luke asked.
As Sting and Kyuri was still being followed by Kageyama and the Dragon Slayer still on the pursuit of Erigor, Erza ordered from where they were, "Let's find him! Catch Kage!"
"Right!" Gray and Cyan replied and left the room to find and capture Kageyama, followed by Erza, Lucy, and Luke. After leaving the room, the raven haired mage spoke aloud to someone.
"Karacka… How long are you going to hide there?"
Appearing from a magic circle was the green haired mage Karacka, his hand on his head. "S-Sorry…" He replied apologetically.
"They're going after Kage. Go." The raven haired mage commanded.
"I'm sorry, I can't. I can't back him up!" Karacka stammered.
Both wizards witness the raw strength of the three Wizards who best the dark guild on their own without even a worry. How could he, Karacka stand up to eight Wizards?
"No…" the raven haired mage's eyes sharpen his tone serious than before. "This'll be a simple job." Karacka looked a bit confused. What was this job he must do?
Meanwhile back with Lisanna, Happy, Lector, and Byakko the four were now in a long hallway of large armor statues and packages scattered all over.
"We completely lost him…" Lisanna sighed.
"Aye..." Happy agreed.
"I swore he went this way. Maybe he got the best of us." Lisanna groaned, hands in her pockets.
"Well, Erza is counting on us, we can't let her down!" Lector chimed in.
"Right, besides, the others are going to deal with Erigor is to find him. Hope they do." Lector said, "I feel Sting could handle him."
"We better keep moving, we'll get chewed out by Erza if we don't keep moving." Byakko reminded the others.
"Right and having Erza scolding us is a bad idea, let's keep moving!" Lisanna ordered to the cats.
"Aye!" Happy chimed in.
Sting and Kyuri were going through the hallway, ice and white magic damaging the hallway. The two stood, Sting's hand wrapped in white light.
"Erigor, Where are you hiding?!" Sting roared.
"Come on out, there's two against one, show yourself!" Kyuri shouted brandishing her katana.
Using his White Dragon Holy Fist, Sting continued busting down wall after wall, searching for the wind. Meanwhile Kageyama, who was in pursuit of Sting, was far behind the blonde haired Dragon Slayer, watched his display of destruction to the station's hall, looking for Erigor.
"Has that blonde ever heard of door?!" he asked annoyed, seeing the dust and rubble of Sting's destruction.
Dust picks around Sting and he panted, his light gone from his arms. "Damn!" he growled. The Dragon Slayer looked around, and still no Erigor has shown up. Kyuri kept her katana still held in her hand as Behind him, Kageyama was right behind him, rising from the ground.
'He and that girl poses no threat, so I could just let them go.' Kageyama decided, 'But… I won't feel satisfied if I do that!'
Sting and Kyuri turned around slowly to see Kageyama for a quick second before being punched by multiple shadow punches. The pair was sent crashing into a grate, pieces of wood flying around.
Kageyama chuckled, a smile on his face. "I owe you for earlier, you motion-sick fly, Didn't know you need support from another fly too!"
Kageyama walked closer, eyeing Natsu's legs failing around as he struggled to break free of the wreckage. Finally, Sting emerge from the wreckage, his head stuck in a poster. Kyuri had also got up, keeping her blade in her hand.
"You again!" Sting roared, seeing the knot haired mage from the train and station.
Kageyama laughed slighting, seeing the Dragon slayer's head in the poster. "It suits you."
"Shut up!" Sting spat.
"Where's Erigor? Tell us!" Kyuri warned.
"Why would I tell flies like you where he is?" Kageyama asked with a smirk.
""Oh, that so?" Sting responded calmly. 'What's his deal, he and the Eisenwald guild calls us flies.'
"Whatever, though. I've got your magic figured out." Kageyama replied; speaking again a calm expression, "You increase your destructive power by adding light to your body. That's pretty rare magic!"
Sting finally rip the picture off his neck, tossing the pieces away, "I really want you beat you up, but there is no time for that!" Sting exclaimed. He pointed his fist at the knot haired Wizard. "Where is Erigor?!" he demanded.
"That's a good question. I'll consider telling you if you beat me." Kageyama smiled, a dark purple magic circle appeared under Kageyama's feet, "Knuckle Shadow!" he announced.
Shadow emerged from the circle that resemble arms that formed punches that sent Natsu back, but the blonde haired Dragon Slayer shield himself with his arms crossed over his face as he slid back. Kageyama grunted in shock that Sting and Kyuri shield themselves from his attack.
"So your magic is similar to him, had a feeling. Well I'm going to have to take this seriously now." Kyuri smirked, grabbing from a pocket looking like an ice cube. Gliding it on the edge of her katana, spoke again, "Ice Sculpt: Long Sword," and the blade morphed into a long sword, covered in ice.
"Oh, you're gonna tell us after we give you a beating?" Natsu responded cockily. "That's great! Two birds with one stone!" A determined smile was now on Natsu's face. "Now we're all fired up!"
(Cue Natsu's theme— Fairy Tail Volume 1 soundtrack)
Back with Lisanna, Lector, Bakko, and Happy, the four could hear and feel the sounds of rumbling coming from above. Bits of the ceiling came falling down from where they stood. The three felines was floating while Lisanna was surprised. First the weird explosions, now this, what was going on?
"What is this shaking?" Byakko asked.
"It must be coming from above us." Lisanna confirmed. "Why do I have this feeling I know where it's coming from."
Back above with Sting and Kyuri, the Dragon Slayer and Ice Sculpt Wizard was dodging and evading Kageyama's Shadow Knuckles with not only ease but an excited look on their faces. Kageyama grunted in anger. "Nimble bastards, but…!"
Kageyama crouched down, his hand to the ground as not only another purple magic circle, but dozens of Shadow Snakes emerged from the magic circle, giving the room a purple eerie look.
"You can't dodge my Snake Shadow!" he continued. "It'll follow you wherever you go!"
The purple snakes lounged themselves at Natsu, but the White Dragon Slayer and Ice Sculpt Wizard wasn't fazed. Kyuri slammed her long sword into the ground, a dark blue magic appeared under her.
"Ice Sculpt: Spikes!" Kyuri exclaimed, and ice stalactites formed around Kageyama, trapping him as he gasped. "Sting, finish him off!" she exclaimed again.
"Right!" Sting exclaimed as he slammed his fists together as light danced around him as he leapt into the air, two streams of white light swirling around Sting's arms as he exclaimed, "I'll shattered you! White Dragon Wing Attack!"
Like pure white wings, Sting's attack collided with the Snake Shadow, creating a cloud of smoke as it's controller was trapped. Kageyama shied himself as the smoke whip the helm of his jacket as he jumped back and gasped. Wood from the crates were also pick up from the explosion too as Kageyama couldn't believe his eyes. And there was Sting standing the aftermath, the smoke and light particles and ice crystals making their features noticeable.
"Impossible! That guy destroyed my Snake Shadow with one blow, and that girl trapped me!" Kageyama responded flabbergasted. "This destructive force! Wizards like this can't exist…!"
"Want another Fly Punch?" Sting asked, white forming in his left hand.
"We'll gladly give it to you." Kyuri finished, the ice vanishing from her sword.
"What are you?!" Kageyama admitted his eyes widen as all he saw was a flash of white light.
With Erza, Lucy, Luke, Cyan, and Gray, The five Wizards were running through a corridor when they heard and felt the explosion coming from Sting's and Kyuri's fight with Kageyama. They stop for a second to look back.
"Is that…?" Gray realized.
"Yes." Erza agreed.
"Sting-kun and Kyuri-chan?" Lucy asked.
"Maybe. Let's hurry!" ordered Luke.
At the same with Lisanna and the cats, they too (although Lisanna realized it from the start) realized where all that was coming from.
"Sting, Kyuri!" Lisanna gasped, turning her head around.
Smoke and falling rubble covered Natsu as he walked closer to the now defeated Kageyama. Kyuri kept her sword held at the defeated wizard, wasn't going to let him go anywhere.
"You made us cause even more destruction." Sting told him, "What do you have to say for yourself?" Sting and Kyuri continued to stand feet from Kageyama, his head hung low, back against the walk and scratches on his jacket.
"Well, we felt better, at least." Sting smiled. With his arms folded, he added, "Looks like I win, Kage."
"Damn you." He spat weakly.
"All right! Tell me where Erigor is like you promised!" Kyuri demanded, pointing her sword more threateningly to him.
Kageyama chuckled, laughing at Sting and Kyuri for believing Erigor was here. "You fools! Erigor is not in this station anymore… "
"Huh?" both questioned in response.
"Sting, Kyuri!" a voice called to him.
Natsu blinked when he saw Erza, Cyan, Lucy, Luke, and Gray running up the stairs to him.
"That's enough! We need him!" Erza explained.
"Way to go you two!" Gray commented.
The pair was confused from what Erza said, why then they need him? Kyuri's confusion then turned to fear as she saw Erza lunging at her direction, her eyes glowing red and her sword in her hands.
"Wait! I-I don't know what I did, I'm sorry!" she exclaimed panicking.
But Erza's target wasn't Kyuri, as her eyes widen, Sting realizing what was going on. Erza had slammed her sword to Kageyama, causing the mage to jump in fright and the pair to look stunned. Kageyama screamed (feminine like) as Erza spoke to him with a dark tone.
"You will shut up and remove the Magic Wind Wall for us!" she declared darkly.
Kageyama 'Eek' in fright, seeing the gleam of Erza's blade nearing his face. Gray stood there watching the frightened Eisenwald wizard as Kyuri was scared beyond belief.
"That wasn't funny at all! You really are dangerous, Erza…!" Kyuri admitted, trembling.
"Shut up!" Gray commented, seeing the frightened Ice Scupt Wizard.
"Understood?" Erza asked her tone less forceful.
"A-All right." Kageyama agreed, not wanting to be killed by the Queen of Fairies.
Kageyama then gasped as he felt something hitting his back, no, not his back… through his back. Erza realized something was wrong with this picture and step back, sword in hand. With his hand covering his chest, a yellow magic circle appearing on his chest as a bloody hand reaches out of it. Kageyama's mouth was wide open as he was shocked at this. Behind his back, a hand had gone through his stomach, shocking Erza, Lucy, Luke, Sting, Cyan, Kyuri and Gray. Luke covered her mouth in shock, Luke was ready to attack, and Sting and Kyuri couldn't believe it
"Wh-Why…" Kageyama simply said, gasping in pain.
The knot haired wizard then collapses to the ground, revealing what attacked him from behind. Karacka, the green haired wizard was the culprit. But there wasn't a smile on his face, but a look of fear. He was trembling, remembering the words from the raven haired wizard.
'This'll be a simple job.' The wizard's words echoing through his mind. Karacka was to mortally wound Kageyama so that Sting and Lisanna's group won't use him to dispel the barrier. But this was their comrade, why would he do this to him.
"Kage!" Erza gasped, seeing the knot haired mage fall to the ground blood coming from his wound.
'Eliminate Kageyama.' Was his request, this was the job he had to do. Fear filled the green haired mage at the crime he committed. Sting stood there, his mouth ajar. Even Kyuri covered her own mouth, her blade was dropped to the ground.
"No, no way..." she whimpered.
"Damn! He was our own way out!" Gray exclaimed. Gray and Erza crouch down to Kageyama's still form, the blood coming from his wound and Erza screaming out to the mage. Lucy and Luke stood with them.
"Kage, stay with us! We need your help!" Erza exclaimed, holding him in her arms trying to wake him up.
"Damn it, I can't believe this!" Gray added anger in his voice.
"Trying to kill their own members, how horrible!" Lucy exclaimed.
"That's what Dark Guild are like, they don't care about comrades or love, they kill their own to achieve their own goals. Horrible, absolutely horrible…" Luke said in disgust.
"You're the only one who can remove the Magic Wind Wall. Don't die!" Erza yelled. But there was no response, was Kageyama still alive or dead.
Sting was now furious, his fist clenched together. "He's one of your own comrades…!" Sting growled in anger.
Karacka gasped as light surround Sting, anger boiling in the Dragon Slayer. "He's a member of your own guild!"
Erza, Luke, Lucy, Cyan, and Gray were speechless in shock as Karacka sunk lower in the wall in fear. With his fist surrounded by white light, Sting leap at the wall Karacka was in, screaming,
"You bastard!" With one punch of his White Dragon Holy Fist, Karacka was sent through the wall he had materialized from and into around room, "Is that just how your guild is?!" Sting added, pieces of the wall flying around. At the same time with Erza, the red haired wizard was trying feverishly to wake Kageyama up to no avail.
"Kage, you have to stay with us!" Erza shouted.
"It's no use, Erza! He's unconscious!" Gray told her unfortunately.
Erza gritted her teeth in anger and started to shake the mage awake, his head banging the ground while Gray and Cyan watch with a pale look on their face. Even Lucy was reminded Erza being Erza would doesn't realize what she's doing.
"We can't let him die! He has to do this!" Erza yelled.
"Come on. He can't use magic in his condition." Gray assured her.
"He has to do this!" Erza retorted, still angry.
Finally, Lisanna, Happy, Lector, and byakko turned to find a piss off Natsu starting at a hole in the wall, Gray and Erza with one of the Eisenwald members, and the room completely damaged.
"Um, did we come at a bad time?" Lisanna asked, eyeing the scene.
"Sting-kun and Kyuri-chan pissed, Gray and Cyan shocked, and Erza harming an individual? No, this normal even for their standards, Lisanna." Lector assured her.
"Aye…" Happy agreed solemnly.
"Fill us in, what happened?" Byakko asked, flying to his partner.
As the group had to reconvene in another location, elsewhere in Clover Canyon, Erigor stood on the train tracks, looking at his destination from the distance, his hand to his scythe.
"The town of Clover is where the guild masters gather, its close," Erigor said to himself, "And the magic energy I used up creating the Magic Wind Wall has almost fully replenished," he chuckled, "Guess I'll speed things up now..." A purple glow appeared under the wind mage as he added, floating in the air over the tracks, "You fools took away our work and our rights. Now I'm coming for you!"
Like a rocket, Erigor shot forward through the wind and valley, adding, "The Reaper's cleaning is nigh!"
Back at the station, Gray, Luke, Cyan, Lucy and Erza filled the three wizards (Lisanna, Sting, and Kyuri), Lector, Byakko, and Happy in on what was happening that Erigor's real target was the Guild Masters' meeting in Clover and the wind wizard was going to use Lullaby to kill them. Happy and the cats gasped so did Sting and kyuri, Lisanna kept calm about this but was worried.
"What?! Erigor's real target is the Conference!" Lisanna asked.
"Gramps!" Sting realized.
"Master…" Lisanna spoke slightly.
The group and Kageyama were now on the top of the station's floors, their eyes on the wind barrier blocking their way out.
"They cut off our only method of reaching Clover." Erza added. "Erigor headed there through the air."
"Luke, could our swords damage a way out?" Lucy asked, everyone now noticing Lucy's new weapon. Luke explained in their story how they found it, Lucy was given it by Luke.
"No, even I couldn't break it. Our bodies won't handle it, we'll be the ones torn to shreds." Luke explained. Lucy looked terrified, but he was right. She just got this
"There has to be a way. Master and the others need us." Lisanna chimed in looking to the magic wind wall.
"We can catch up to him in the Magic-Mobile. But unless we do something about this wind barrier, we're stuck here." Gray sighed.
"You can't be serious…!" Lucy replied.
(Cue Fairy Tail Main Theme - Slow ver. — Fairy Tail Volume 1 Soundtrack)
Lisanna (changed into her Phoenix Takeover), her fist wrapped in flames, ran to pun through the barrier, but was pushed back forcefully by it. Lucy gasped and ran towards her, catching the Takeover Wizard before she fell to the ground.
"Lisanna! Are you okay?!" she asked, holding the young girl.
"I'm fine, but we need to... Save them… Master… The guild Masters... We Need to save them..." she panted, looking at the magic wall like it was an obstacle she couldn't stop.
"Lisanna, that won't work." Sting assured her watching her getting back on his feet, "And not even my magic can break through it. We gotta find some way to break out, but we need to save our magic energy for Erigor."
"I know that Sting, but Makarov will be dead if we don't get out of here!" Lisanna replied back to him, "I can't lose anyone like Natsu!"
"I'm worried for the master too, but our top priority is getting out of here." Sting reassured her, crossing his arms, "I'm not going to let more blood be shed of our loved ones. We need to find away, but we have to keep our heads."
Lisanna stared at her friend and understood he was correct. If they could break through, they shouldn't waste their magic on the barrier; their strength needs to be saved for Erigor.
"Okay." Lisanna nodded, calming down a little.
At the same time with Erza and Cyan, the scarlet haired wizard was still trying to wake Kageyama up. "Kage! Please! Help us!" Erza yelled.
"We have to try something. Gray, can't you freeze with you magic, Kyuri yours too?" Lucy requested, still holding Lisanna.
"I already would have if I could, but you saw Lisanna, she was sent back and Lisanna can't break through it without risking her life." Gray told her.
"I never changed anything to ice like that, no way I could stop it. We're stuck here if we can't think of a way out." Kyuri responded.
"No way even if mine and Sting combine our magic, it wouldn't be enough. We'll drain ourselves before we even fight Erigor." Luke commented.
"We have to find a way." Lisanna said, looking to to her friends and Lucy still holding her, "Makarov, all the Guild Masters, they count on us to save them." She gripped her hands tightly, she couldn't let anymore to die.
"Damn! What do we do?!" Erza spat, holding the now bandaged Kageyama up for support.
"If we can't break out, can we just pass the wind wall without damaging ourselves?" Cyan asked.
"Pass the Wind wall? We need a way to get through safely Cyan-chan, we have no abilities in our dispotal to that." Kyuri assured the Takeover wizard.
'Pass the wind wall, wait, now I remember,, it might our way out.' Lisanna thought and turned around to Lucy, clapping her hands to her shoulders, shocking the Celestial Wizard, "Lucy!" she shouted, looking closer to her.
"Yes?" she asked, her face red with Lisanna's so close to hers.
"We can't use your spirits to pass through the Spirit world like last time right, there's rules?" she asked.
"Y-yes. Normal people would suffocate and die if they went through, though." Lucy explained back. "Plus, the gates only open where there's a celestial mage. Basically, if we wanted to pass through the celestial world to get out, we'd need one celestial mage outside the station!" she continued, getting up to explained to her, holding up both her index fingers to explain things to Lisanna.
"Lisanna-chan, are you saying we could use a spirit here to break through. Why now pass like last time?" Kyuri asked.
"Sorry Kyuri-chan, the very act of a human entering the celestial spirit world is a serious breach of contract. We'll get in trouble for this, myself included." Lucy continued.
"If we can't pass through like Lisanna-chan, Sting-kun, and Kyuri-chan did, what if we break from the inside to the outside?" Luke suggested to Lucy.
"We'd need a spirit capable to do that. Taurus, Aquarius, and Cancer don't have the strength and I haven't gotten new keys since Plue." Lucy replied.
"New key?" Lisanna repeated, cocking her head and then it finally dawned on her, "Lucy, if you had a new key, can you perform a contract and see if they can help us?"
"Lisanna, what do you have in mind?" Happy asked, coming to her side.
"Hey, did you find a way?" Gray asked, coming to their side.
"Yes. I remember something. And Lucy, let me explain before you yelled at me, I didn't steal this. She gave it to me." she explained at once.
"She?" Sting asked, cocking his head too.
"Remember when we were at Everlue Mansion? And that Virgo spirit we met? Well, I have this, she gave this to me." she explained and pulled from her pockets, a golden gate Key.
"Wait, that's Virgo's key?! How did get that?" she asked in disbelief. She trusts Lisanna wouldn't steal from anyone, she trusts her friend, but how? Everlue had it.
"Virgo gave me her gate key, so I never stole it, plus I was standing with Sting and the others to even take the key anyway.' Lisanna explained, still holding it in her hand.
"Huh?!" Lucy said, reacting to Happy's rebuttal and releasing.
"Ugh, this is no time for this nonsense." Gray said, arms folded. He was sure they had away out, now they are shooting the breeze.
"Virgo?" Sting repeated. "That gorilla maid we met tried to flatten us."
"Everlue was arrested, so apparently their contract was annulled." Lisanna explained, waving the key around to Lucy who was facing her. "She visited us later and said she wants to make a contract with you, Lucy."
"'It' did?" Lucy asked, an image of Virgo popping into her mind. "I'm glad to hear it, but there's no time for that. We need to figure out a way out of here!"
"And this is the way!" Lisanna shouted, everyone hearing her raise her voice, "I understand Virgo was a hassle, but you are the only one who can use this key and Virgo dig us out of here. I know you don't want to deal with seeing her, but we need to save Master and the others. Lucy," Lisanna steeped much closer, their eyes meeting and Lucy seeing her solemn eyes, "I, I need you, we need you. You're the only one who can save us and get us out of here. Please take this key and help, for Master and the Guild Masters too." she finished.
"Lisanna…" she spoke up, seeing how serious and solemn her gaze was. She was right, as bad of an experience meeting Virgo was, she was the only one who can use the key. Everyone was counting on her, Master too. She'll have to swallow her pride, and use it. Taking hold of the Lisanna's hand, her finger brushed her hand, now holding the key in her own.
"I'll do it for you and everyone." she said softly, only for Lisanna to flung her arms around her, shocking the Celestial Wizard.
"Thank you…" she whispered softly into her ear and separated from her.
"Y-Yeah..." she replied, stepping away with an embarrassed blush. That felt like the first hug from someone close to her in such a long time.
"Do we have a way out?" Erza asked, seeing Lisanna shouted, give what looks like key and then hug her.
"Yes, leave it to me!" Lucy exclaimed, now much more confident. Lucy stepped from everyone to get her room, all eyes: Sting, Lisanna, Happy, Lector, Luke, Byakko, Cyan, Kyuri, Gray, and Erza all watched Lucy hold the key given to her. Lucy stood from her comrades, each of them nodding their heads with Lucy nodding back. She took a deep breath and chanted, key held forward, "I am connected with the path to the celestial spirit world." A golden light appeared then under Lucy, "Heed my call! Pass through the gate!" she added.
(Cue Celestial Spirit Magic— Fairy Tail Volume 1 Soundtrack)
"Open, Gate of the Maiden! Virgo!" Lucy announced as a blue magic circle appeared and coming burst from the ground, but it was the large gorilla maid from before, it was someone different. Instead of a large woman, it was a much petite looking maid with shackles around her wrists, short pink hair, and blue eyes. Just like Virgo, she wore a typical black and white maid's outfit. She greeted Lucy at once emerging with a curtsy, her left arm across her chest. Lucy was confused. Did she summon Virgo or not?
"You called Mistress?" she asked.
Everyone stood there in confusion, but Lucy the most confused on the bunch.
"Who are you?" she asked in confusion.
Lisanna and Sting got closer to the maid spirit and observed her carefully.
"It's great to see you again Virgo, you really shimmed down." Sting pointed out.
"The pleasures all mine. I apologize for causing you two so much trouble." Virgo responded calmly.
"Shimmed down?! More like a different person!" Lucy exclaimed bug eyed.
"A different person?" Gray repeated, looking at Lucy in confusion.
"Explain. Was she different on our quest?" Lule asked.
"Yes, she was this big woman who tried to flatten Sting and Lisanna. But now she's way nicer now." Kyuri explained, hands in her pockets.
"Why do you look like that…?" Lucy asked, eyes widen,
"I'm a devoted Celestial spirit." Virgo smiled. "I take whatever form my master prefers."
"That would explain a lot." Lisanna said and like Sting, arms folded.
"We're in a big rush, Virgo. Can the contract wait until later?" Lucy asked.
"Or course, mistress." Virgo replied calmly.
"I don't really like being called mistress." Lucy responded her arms folded with a sigh.
"'Queen', or 'Dominatrix', then?" Virgo added, eyeing Lucy's whip on her belt.
"No!" Lucy declined at once. Lisanna giggled, feeling one of those names would suit her.
"Princess?" Virgo requested.
"That's more like it." Lucy replied, turning around, left hand to her cheek and smiling. Sting, Luke, Cyan, Kyuri, Gray, and Lisanna each had dark shadows over themselves.
"How's she a princess?" Gray asked.
"I dunno." Lisanna replied.
"Who knows. Lucy, we are on schedule to help the Masters." Sting ordered to her.
"Just hurry up," Luke added.
"Very well, then." Virgo understood as her blue eyes glowed red and with a bow, she dug into the ground.
"Oh! She went down!" Gray stated excited.
"Will we be able to pass the wind barrier now?" Cyan asked curiously.
"Thanks to Lucy, I think we have." Kyuri chimed in.
"Good thinking, Lucy." Erza said, bring the blond haired Celestial Wizard into a one armed hug, Lucy hitting her breast plate.
"All right. Let's go through the hole." Gray ordered to the group. Gray turned around to see Sting slinging the knot haired wizard onto his shoulder, Lisanna coming to help him. "What are you doing,Sting?" he asked.
"Having him die after fighting me will leave a bad taste in my mouth." Sting explained.
Kageyama's one eye started open slightly as Erza gasped. She then smiled at the blonde haired Dragon Slayer's nobleness. Together one by one, Sting, Lisanna, (with Kageyama), Lucy, Gray, Erza, Happy, Lector, Kyuri, Cyan, Byakko, and Luke all jump into the hole. Finally, they escaped the Magic Wind Wall and were outside the station. The group could see the Magic Wind Wall from the distance, their hair and clothes whipping in the wind.
"We're out!" Gray yelled through the whipping winds.
"Let's hurry ahead!" Erza ordered.
"Once the wind in our ears doesn't make worse!" Luke shouted through the wind.
"Right!" Byakko yelled.
"The wind is so strong!" Lucy pointed out, her hair and skirt whipping in the wind.
"Princess! Your panties might show!" Virgo exclaimed, holding down Lucy's skirt while her own was moving the wind.
"What about yours?" Lucy asked looking at her while Gray could see up her skirt.
"Oh man…" Gray realized, face blushing.
"Perv!" Kyuri spat, keeping her clothes not flying around.
"Same, have some shame Gray-san!" Cyan yelled.
While his eyes were still closed, Kageyama spoke to the team. "It's no use…" the seven turned to him, "There's no way you can catch up with him now… We win…!"
Erza looked to see one no two of their number was gone. "Where's Sting and Lisanna?"
"Huh?" Lucy responded, looking around. Both Lisanna and Sting weren't around anymore, usually they be talking right now. She'd worried Sting could look up, but he wasn't there, Lisanna wasn't too.
"Happy and Lector gone too." Gray realized, seeing two of the three cats were gone too.
"Did they go on ahead?" Cyan asked through the wind.
"Hopefully they won't need our help, but let's take the Magic Mobile and hurry after them!" Erza ordered to the rest of the group.
"Right!"
With Team Strauss making their way after Erigor and their comrades, Erigor flew through the canyons, he could see the town off in the distance. His revenge in sight. "There's the town. Hold on, you old geezers!" The wind wizard then heard the sound of someone roaring behind him as he turned to hear a girl's voice calling out to him.
"This is Happy and Lector at max speed!"
Erigor realized who it was. Lisanna and Sting was flying with Happy and Lector, their white angel wings out and was flying at high speed, catching up to Erigor. Finally, Lisanna landed a fiery blow with her Phoenix Takeover on Erigor, knocking him off course as Lisanna was released by Happy. A midair explosion was caused by Natsu's attack and the two Wizards landed to the train tracks, back facing away from the crash of Erigor as Happy and Lector landed into their arms, their magic spent.
"Happy!" Lisanna exclaimed.
"I can't fly any farther." Happy said tired.
"Thanks for the help!" Lisanna smiled. "We manage to catch up to him!"
"Will you be okay Lector?" Sting asked, holding the cat in his arms.
"Yeah, just let us rest, we'll replenish our magic. Just stop him, Sting-kun." Lector said weakly.
"Y-You..." spoke Erigor, getting Natsu's attention as look to him rising from the crash. "You're that Fairy Tail members… What are you doing here?"
Lisanna place Happy down and face Erigor, flames surrounding and circling her fists, Natsu's scarf blowing in the wind. "We're here to beat you, you're not going to kill the Guild Masters. Not while we're here."
Erza, Lucy, Luke, Cyan, Byakko, Kyuri, Gray, and Kageyama (who they taken along) were on the train tracks, trying to catch to Lisanna, Happy, Sting, Lector, and Erigor. Kageyama sat inside the Magic-Mobile, staring at the four wizards. It was cramped on one side of the Magic Mobile, with Lucy sitting with Kyuri and Gray (who she sat in between so they don't fight). Cyan and Luke still flew outside who were looking at him while Erza drove. Kageyama faced the two girls and Gray, not understanding why they took him along..
"Why? Why are you taking me with you?" Kageyama asked calmly, his eyes closed.
"The town is empty; we're taking you to a doctor in Clover!" Lucy explained.
"Consider it a peace offering from us 'Flies'." Kyuri mocked, saying the word in disgust.
"Kyuri-chan's right, Youu should be grateful." Lucy scoffed, turning her head.
"No." Kageyama replied calmly.,"Why are you helping me? We're enemies." Lucy and Kyuri eyed the Shadow Wizard, "Ah, now I get it. I'm your hostage, and you're going to make a deal with Erigor. Forget it. He's cold-hearted to the core. He won't give a damn about me." he muttered, knowing he'll just deposited with, just like his own dark guild members tried to dispose of him.
"So gloomy." Kyuri commented.
"If you want to die, we can kill you." Gray said, causing Lisanna to flinch.
"Hold on, Gray!" Lucy interrupted.
Gray look to him, his eyes narrowed and staring sharply at Kageyama. "There's more to the world than just life and death." Kageyama's mouth was ajar as Gray added, "Live a lot more positively. All of you."
"I agree with Gray for once," Kyuri chimed in. "I lost my parents when I was young, my brother out there and I felt all alone for so long. You have to keep your spirits high and move on the best you can. Sure, there are times you feel bad and dwell, but you must keep on being positive," she smiled. "That's something I'm teaching myself."
Kageyama looked solemnly down to his hands, thinking about everything Lisanna and Gray said and taking it all in. Suddenly, the Magic-Mobile hit a bump in the train tracks, causing everyone to fly off their seats.
"What the…!" Gray cried as Kyuri fell to the door (while was locked) and Lucy to fly butt first into Kageyama's face.
"Erza!" Gray and Kyuri called, getting their bearings.
"Sorry! It's alright!" Erza apologized, getting back on course.
"It is difficult to be driving on tracks, it's going to be bumpy." Luke Assured Erza.
"Hope nothing crazy happened in there." Cyan wondered, knowing Gray was sitting with Kyuri and Lucy as well Kageyama.
"I'm sorry!" Lucy called from inside the Magic Mobile.
"Could your butt be any bigger?!" Kageyama stated annoyed, hand to his face.
"You son of a…!" Lucy screamed veins throbbing in her head, She grabbed her rapier from under her seat, ready to use it, "change of plans, I'll kill you for that comment!"
"Jeez, don't make our sage moment go to waste now." Kyuri and Gray said in unison, pale in the face.
Back outside with Erza, Her eyes were getting heavier as her she saw starting to lose sight of the track.
"You okay? You didn't recover your magic quick enough after that fight. Maybe it wouldn't be wise to drive right now." Byakko suggested to her.

'He's right. My vision is blurring… I must have used up more magical energy than I thought… Sting, Lisanna, stop Erigor." Erza thought she continued on the track. "It's all up to you until we get there…!" Erza added.
The wind wizard was back on his feet; facing Lisanna who still had her flames surrounding her fists and Sting gearing up a fight.
"Bring it on! I'll burn you and destroy that flute with you!" Lisanna exclaimed.
"Your revenge plot ends here, it's the end of the line!" Sting exclaimed as well
"You broke out the Magic Wind Wall, huh? What a pesky flies, you are," Erigor replied. With a stern look, "You are in my way. Begone!" he added. With his right hand up, a light purple magic circle appeared, creating a powerful rush of wind that blew Natsu's flames away, causing Sting and Lisanna to shield his arms in front of their faces, Sting's vest blowing in the wind and Lisanna's yukata blowing as they struggled to keep on their feet.
"This is nothing!" they shouted, removing their arms from their face and screaming to the wind wizard, still on his feet. An explosion happened next, covering Sting and Lisanna in a cloud of dust. Erigor look up to see something shot up into the sky. From below it looks like a red and white stars, but in the sky, it was Lisanna. Not only was Lisanna's fists covered in flames but Sting's feet were covered in light too, resembling dragon feet and flying like a rocket. The pair together crash into Erigor, but Erigor dodge, Sting's and Lisanna's fist hitting the tracks, causing it to break up a bit, wood, stone, and metal flying around. Lisanna strike next, the wind mage using his Scythe to block Lisanna's attack. Erigor smiled at first was shocked by Lisanna and Sting.
"What?! They used their magic to jump and to strike?!" Erigor thought as he floated up into the air as Natsu leap down to ground. 'And their strength! There's nothing like a Wizard's punch!"
"Damn!" Sting spat. "You can't fly in the air! That's not fair! Come down and face me!"
"Don't get cocky, fly!" Erigor growled in anger. With his right hand out again, he conjured another light purple magic circle and a powerful wind hit the two wizards causing them to scream. Lisanna and Sting was inside a tornado, "Storm Bringer!" he announced. The Fire Dragon Slayer was now swept up from his feet and spinning around inside the tornado.
"Lisanna, Sting!" Happy gasped from the track tracks he led on, one eye opened. Happy closed his eyes and struggled as a light green magic circle appeared over his back, his white angel like wings struggling to pop out. But to effort, they wouldn't appear and Happy laid flat on the track. "It's no use! I don't have enough magic energy!"
"We need to save them, but we haven't recovered our magic.." Lector grunted weakly.
Finally Sting and Lisanna was sent falling into the canyon below, with no Happy to rescue him. "I doubt even your magic could bring you up here!" Erigor chuckled.
"Lisanna!" Happy cried, but he couldn't hear a response to his mother.
"Sting!" Lector cried out, hearing no response from his blonde haired companion.
Down in the canyon, Sting crossed his arms and legs as he started to fall head first into the bottomless canyon. Lisanna quickly grabbed him, not sure she can fly back quickly in flight Takeovers.
"O-Oh crap! This isn't good! What do we do…?" Sting asked himself as he was plummeting into the canyon, "Can you fly back in your bird Takeover?"
"I never flew like that before!" Lisanna called back to him. The pair fell to a rock and Sting hit his head, finally came crashing into rock after rock, getting bumps on his head as he reaches out to the light, Lisanna holding onto him.
"Master..." Lisanna said dimly, her eyes closing and his mind went blank until he remembered something from back then. Lisanna closed her eyes, the bottom coming as she thought back too.

"Sheesh, all right." A younger Macao said and held out his index finger, purple flames swirling on it while his other hand was holding a jug of beer. "Watch closely, now. See!"
"Whoa. Cool!" a younger Natsu from about four years younger was amazed by Macao's flame. A younger Sting was standing with him, Lisanna watching from afar.
"It's called Purple flare, and it can do a lot more than just burn stuff!" Macao explained, the flames moving around on his index finger.
"My fire burns everything, thought…" Natsu pointed out.
"It's because you always think to destroy, that's what you always do. Do I need to tell Happy about…?" only for a younger Sting to have his mouth covered.
"Shut up brother, I don't need him know that!" Natsu hissed.
"Calm down, you know we'll never tell him." Lisanna chimed in, coming up to the two brothers.
"You just change the fire's properties." Macao replied, "If you ask for it from deep down, the fire will respond on its own."
Natsu look up at Macao, his eyes and mouth opened and taking in what he said as he added, "Do that, and not even water or wind can beat it!"
"I don't understand it, but I'll try to remember." Natsu nodded.
"That sounds cool, maybe if I find a fire creature, I can learn that." Lisanna said, excited about the idea of changing the nature of magic.
"If that ever happens, let's fight you and me!" Natsu said excitedly.
"Always back to fighting with you," she sighed but smiled, "But if that does happen, we'll have a battle, just you and me. Promise?" held out a hand.
"It's a promise, Lisanna…" and shakes her hand.

From below the canyon, a powerful rush of fire shot up from below and into the sky, from where Sting and Lisanna was and the area an orange glow. Erigor stood there in shock as the fire then formed into a hand. Without even melting the tracks or burning the wood that suspend the tracks, it grab onto the tracks, pulling something up from below. It was Lisanna, who had taken his fellow member's advice to Natsu and changed the property of the fire. With Sting held on by her wait, the two survived their face.
"Sting, Lisanna!" Happy exclaimed happily; glad to see his friend was alright.
Sting and Lisanna landed their feet back on the tracks, sighing in relief and Sting let her go, standing beside her. "That was close!" looking to her left hand and balled into a fist with a smile, "Change the fire's properties, indeed…! I did it, Macao, Can't wait to tell Natsu when we find him." she added
Erigor gasped, still flabbergasted from what he saw. "Wh-What was that just now?!"
"Nice try taking us out, but we are still here to take you down." Sting said triumphantly.
"You must be cold naked like that." Lisanna called from below. "Want me to warm you up?!"
"Says the girl wearing a yukata down that!" Erigor retorted.
Back on the tracks, Lisanna circled his fists together and held them out outwards,, "This will blow you away! Phoenix Flame Burst!" she exclaimed and from her hands and the orange magic circle, a powerful stream of flames spewed out from his mouth and travel it's way to Erigor.
"Storm Wall!" Erigor countered with and a purple magic circle conjured a wind wall to protect him as the two collided with an explosion, covering the two mages in sparks of flames and smoke. Erigor emerged from the smoke, now floating the air, baffled from Lisanna's display.
'I can't believe this girl… Nothing she does makes any sense!' Erigor thought. 'Is this what Fairy Tail Wizards are like!?' Erigor chuckled, "It seems I somewhat underestimated your strength. What do you say we fight for real now?"
"Sounds good to us." Sting grinned.
"Now I'm all fired up!" Lisanna smiled.
Erigor held his scythe at the ready and announced, "Storm Wail!" While spinning his scythe rapidly, a purple magic circle appeared and a powerful gust of wind appeared and formed into a wind Twister as Erigor added, "Here I come!"
Erigor's Storm Wail was flying to Lisanna and Sting as they leap into the air to punch the wind with thier fists wrapped in flames and light. But both were pushed back and stared at the wind surrounding Erigor as they landed back to the train rails.
"What's the matter? Is that all you have?" Erigor taunted.
"It's my turn! White Dragon Roar" Sting exclaimed, a white magic formed in front of as a beam of light fired from his mouth, heading for Erigor. The Dragon Roar couldn't dent the wind as Erigor didn't move, "Damn it!" he cursed, "You just had to wrap yourself in something annoying!" Sting slammed his fists together again as his left fist was wrapped in white light again. "This'll tear it right off! White Dragon Holy Fist!" and leaps forward to punch the wind surrounding Erigor but his fist won't connect with the wind as his light were spread away from the wind until finally they were gone.
"What?!" Sting exclaimed in shock. "What's going on?! My magic went out!"
"Just as I thought." Erigor observed. "Your destructive strength comes from your light alone. You have no effect on me. Same with that girl"
"What?!" exclaimed Sting and Lisanna.
The wind twister spun more rapidly causing them to shield themselves from the wind. They were sent back, Sting's blue vest blowing in the wind and Lisanna's yukata hem blowing. "The wind in my Storm Wail is always blowing outwards. Understand what that means? Fire and Light doesn't blow against the wind!" he added.
Lisanna growled in frustration, "What?!" she growled.
The Twister rose up, showing limps like a person. "Fire can't beat wind!" The wind began to pick up around Lisanna and Sting, Natsu's muffler moving in the wind, his left arm up and grunting in anger With Sting doing his best to stand on his feet.
"Sting, Lisanna!" Happy and Lector called from the blistering wind.
"Now you understand, Fairy Tail wizards! Your magic can't beat wind!" Erigor laughed.
Too Be Continued
Michael: And that ends chapter seven. Not much big changes this time outside the new weapon for Lucy, shortening Lucy's scene getting Virgo's key without doing anything out of character like grabbing Lisanna, as if we need any of that. And Lisanna is the bigger player of this fight, Sting helping her. And yeah, this was about two weeks or so after I finished chapter six, so chapter eight might either turn up at the time or a week later. But after that, the first original chapter of this retelling. It won't be the filler episode, but will be a completely original chapter as it dives into some past events: Lisanna acquiring her Phoenix Takeover, meeting Cyan, and a little bit of Luke and Erza. You probably notice Cyan not fighting, you'll find out why in this original chapter which explains how she was found and how she was adopted into the Strauss family. Keep an eye out, the finale of the Lullaby arc will posted back to back with this chapter. Also, one of the OCs, the water Dragon will be replaced back with Rogue and Frosch as canon allows. I'll explain next chapter. But see you next time for the next chapter.
