When Elena and Klaus had finally returned to the church, Rebekah, Kol and Elijah where already there, awaiting there arrival.

Elijah was relieved to see her safe, he could finally relax now that she was near him.

Elena was still pretty upset with him, the decision he made to exclude her from there plan and prevent her from visiting her home was one that was going to stay with her until they could talk about it properly, she was trying not to overreact until she heard his side of things, maybe he had good reason, it was doubtful but she remained hopeful.

Her heart still raced at the sight of him, safe and close.

"Finally." Elijah stated as he stood from the church bench, Rebekah and Kol doing the same; they all joined at the front of the church, Elena sat down once again whilst they all started filling each other in on the events of the day; she had already told Klaus everything the monks had told her and now they where going to form a plan. It just always took a while.

It felt like hours had passed and she was tired, she tried to listen as closely as she could but her mind would wander uncontrollably, exhaustion overcame and it was hard to focus. She had caught the main parts of the plan: fly to london, stop the demon king and prevent an apocalypse, besides from her blood being needed for the ritual to stop him from rising, she wouldn't be able to do much else.

A little while longer, she finally heard Klaus say the words, "We have a plan then."

The relief she felt when they where finally done speaking was immense.

"I'm going to need a day to make some hybrids, we need all the back up we can get" Klaus said, Elijah's eyes suddenly shot to Elena, he realised he must have took her blood, the pain he felt was inexplicable. He hated it.

"Fine." He said, trying to hide the rage he had by being his usual collected self.

"Elena, there is a hotel not to far from here, I'll arrange for you to stay there until we have everything we need for our trip to London." Klaus said.

Elena nodded her head, looking forward to a good nights sleep, he didn't mention anything about needing someone to stay with her, she was confused, "Who will be watching me?"

"No-one," All of his siblings turned to look at him in disbelief, he ignored them and walked towards her, "I'm trusting you, don't let me down."

Her heart panged slightly at his leap of faith, something that was obviously hard for him but he was trying nonetheless. "I won't. Thank you"

Elena's smile warmed his heart but he dare not show it, he nodded his head and returned to his siblings, "But of course, Rebekah you will drive her there and return here once you know she's safe."

"Why not?" She said sarcastically, not looking forward to that drive at all, even if it was only 30 minutes long.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Go." He practically demanded, she growled lowly and proceeded to oblige by walking out of the church. Before Elena followed, she shot a glance at Elijah, her heart hurting every minute she's away from him.

Elena had finally arrived at the hotel, it was located in the main part of the city; it was very modern and exquisite, they treated her like royalty; Klaus had set her up in a nice suite, queen size bed, en suite, living quarters that had luxurious furnishings and a view of the city that she will remember forever.

It had been a couple of hours since she had been there; she'd showered, ordered room service and now she was sat on one of the sofas, coffee in hand, thinking about everything that had happened over the last couple of days, still trying to process.

There was a sudden knock at the door; she wondered who it could be, nervous that it could be someone to kill her.

"Elena," When she heard that all to familiar voice, she ran to the door, opening it to reveal the one person she needed right now.

"Elijah," He instantly pulled her into him and smashed his lips onto hers, his hands gripping her waist and holding her as close and as tightly as he could.

She sank into him, her arms wrapped around his neck and body as close to his as it could be; he lead her inside, kicking the door shut behind them.

The way he made her feel was indescribable; it felt as though the whole word just disappeared around her and they where the only two that mattered. She saw nothing else. All her pain and anger towards him just disappeared, that too didn't matter to her.

"I'm so glad you're safe," He muttered onto her lips, pressing his forehead onto hers, "I've felt nothing but dread and sorrow since we separated."

"I've missed you so much, I've felt incomplete without you." She leaned back into him and continued to kiss him, the passion and heat flooding her entire body.

She needed him.

She always needed him.

The more the kiss continued, the more he wanted her; she would begin to remove his clothes, starting with his jacket, revealing his black t-shirt, although it was casual, he still looked extremely smart, she couldn't keep her hands off him. She traced her fingers along his stomach under the hem of his shirt, slowly gripping it and pulling it over his head, her hands now pressed into the skin on his bare back.

His animalistic instincts kicked in and he pulled her up to his waist, her legs instantly wrapping around him; he used his speed and took her to the bedroom, laying her down and climbing on top of her, lathering her body in small yet lustful kisses.

His hands caressed her thigh and moved slowly up towards her stomach, her nightgown moving with it; he kissed along the top of her panties, the small moans Elena had tried to hold back now escaping, her breathing becoming heavier the more he touched her, her skin felt like it was on fire.

She caught his head in her hands and lifted it towards hers, smashing her lips onto his, she parted them slightly and massaged her tongue against his, he followed her lead, engaged in the passionate kiss between them. Before he knew it, she had wrapped her leg around him and spun him round, her legs now straddling his waist, there kiss unbroken. She undone the button to his pants and pulled them down, he kicked them off onto the floor, followed with his underwear.

She moved her lips down to his neck, tracing them over his skin and grazing her teeth over his throat; a small growl escaped his lips and he grabbed her by the waist whilst he lifted into a sitting position, Elena now placed perfectly on him. He lifted her nightgown over head and tossed it to ground, revealing her bare chest. He had one hand placed on her breast, massaging it perfectly whilst the other wrapped around her back, bringing her in as close as he could.

He tore her panties in half once again and tossed them away, there bare skin touching sent electric shocks through his spine; she teased her entrance by rubbing up against him, just allowing the very tip of him to feel her.

She couldn't hold back much longer and neither could he.

He thrusted into her slowly and they moaned in pure ecstasy when they had joined together; nothing felt as right as this did.

She moved her hips up and down, wanting to feel his full length; he tilted his head back and closed his eyes; the more she moved, the harder it was to contain his groans. He slid in and out of her, moving in sync with each other. He moved his hands up her back, his fingers finding there way into her hair, he tugged slightly when she moved with force.

Passion fuelled them, the heat between them unwavering as they continued to move together, her nails had dug so hard in his back that she drew blood, something that appeared to turn him on more, he groaned and using his speed, he lay her on the bed, positioned on her side; before she knew it, he was laying behind her, his fingers tracing the shape of her waist and hips before thrusting into her again, he gripped onto her and slid in and out of her over and over again. He began rocking his hips, each thrust becoming more powerful.

She held onto the sheets with force, loud moans escaping her lips repeatedly; he found this to be endearing and wanted to pleasure her more; his hand now roaming her body and landing on her breast. He was completely inside her, they couldn't be any closer.

They where close, there noises of ecstasy loud and uncontrollable, with each thrust he could feel Elena tingle around him more and more until he felt how wet she had become; the sensation consumed him as he rammed into her roughly and completely, her back arched to meet his final thrust before he spilled into her, causing them to both moan in sync.

They remained still for a long minute, Elena's breathing heavy, she turned over onto her other side to face him.

Perfection.

"I adore you." Elijah spoke in hushed tones as he tucked a loose hair of hers behind her ear.

"I'm quite fond of you too," She smirked slightly as she placed her hand on his face, her fingers tracing the skin along his cheek.

A short while later, they had got out of bed and entered the living room, taking a seat on the sofa.

"Tonight was amazing," Elena spoke, a nervous smile appearing on her lips and her cheeks turning a shade of crimson.

"It was perfect." He returned her smile.

There was just pure silence in the air for a few minutes, so Elena decided to grab a fresh cup of coffee for herself and Elijah; she sat next to him once again and took a sip.

"I have to ask, even at the risk of ruining our evening," He paused to take a sip of coffee, unsure of whether he should continue or but he knew he had too, "How was your trip with Klaus?"

"It was fine," She shrugged her shoulders, somewhat relieved that this topic was finally coming up, she hated the elephant in the room and just wanted to talk it out, "We actually got along for a little while and the monks where helpful, I wasn't hurt, so no downside."

"Event though he took your blood?" He was somewhat confused by her answer, he hadn't expected them to get along.

"I let him," She said, "I had too, it was part of our deal, if I protest, it's only going to end bad."

"I suppose you're right, doesn't mean I have to like it." He made his feelings very clear on the matter.

"Whilst we're on the topic, do you have something to tell me?" She asked, nervous once again; she didn't want to fight with him, she only wanted the truth.

"Yes," A small sigh escaped his lips, "I haven't been completely honest with you; Niklaus sent me to Mystic Falls to find Bonnie and ask her to translate the book. He didn't want me to tell you in case you plotted against him, my reasoning was not the same but I still had my own agenda as to why I wanted to keep it from you."

"Go on," She was softening slightly on the matter.

"Jealousy is an ugly emotion and one I have not felt in a very long time but when my brother gave me this task, it consumed me; it's not that I didn't want you to be reunited with your friends or family, I did not want you to see the Salvatore's again; the thought of losing you is bad enough and I had small doubts that you actually feel for me as deeply as I do you and worried that them more. It's no excuse, I shouldn't have been dishonest with you and for that, I'm truly sorry."

She didn't speak for a minute; she wasn't angry or hurt, in fact, quite the opposite but she felt as though he didn't trust her or at the very least believe her when she spoke about her feelings towards him.

"Elijah," She took his hands into hers, "I feel things for you I never thought possible, my heart screams for you every second of every day, when we're together, everything feels right. Never doubt my feelings for you, trust me when I say there's only you, you're the only one I want in my life until the day I die."

He raised her hand towards his mouth and landed a soft kiss on it, "Of course I trust you and insecurity has never been one of my personality traits but you're everything to me, I don't think straight when it comes to you, I think with my heart and it only tells me not to do anything that could potentially push you away."

"I'm never going anywhere, we can work through anything, Elijah."

He brought her closer to him and kissed her softly, his hands cupping her face; she leaned into him more, her heart raced everytime he kissed her.
