Elena woke up the next morning to Elijah kissing all her along neck; a sleepy smile appeared on her lips, this was her perfect moment, awaking everyday to the man she loves.
"Good morning, sleepy head," Elijah smirked as he continued to ravish her with kisses, "It's 10am."
"Really?" She sounded almost shocked at the actual sleep-in they had together, "That's why I feel so refreshed this morning."
"Are you completely awake?" He spoke, a slight hint of seductiveness in his tone of voice.
"You have my full and undivided attention," She rolled onto him, returning each and every kiss he had placed on her body, her hands exploring every inch of him.
They where madly in love and couldn't stop themselves.
Elijah placed his arms on her waist, massaging her sides through the silk nightgown that caressed her skin before pulling it over head, his hands finding themselves placed over her breasts.
He had already been completely naked whilst he waited for he to awake, his desire for her was constant and in anticipation of there love making, he came prepared.
She was sat on top of him, she could feel his erection pressing against her, so she swayed her hips slowly in a circular motion; Elijah groaned lowly at the movement, already sending him wild; he nibbled across her collarbone.
Her body temperature had soared as he pushed his member against her, he so desperately wanted to be inside her but she continued to tease, watching him squirm with pleasure and longing. She interlocked her fingers with his and pressed her breasts onto his bare chest, her hips still moving over him, her erect nipples softly grazing his skin, "I told you I'd get you back."
She bit her lip gently before kissing up his chest to his neck, her tongue grazing the skin across his throat; he needed her. He growled playfully at her words, only wanting her more.
She teased the tip of his erection with her entrance, slowly pulling herself up before she would fully submerge herself in him, a teasing smirk appearing on her lips. She was driving him insane; he pressed his hands back onto her waist and sat up, crossing his legs beneath her and he placed her perfectly on his hips.
He pushed against her with force, a loud moan eliciting from her lips; she couldn't take the longing anymore.
As she went to move onto him, he met her movement with a slow thrust, his erection entering her at her deepest, they moaned with pleasure in sync with each other.
Elena began rocking her hips, moving up and down him slowly at first but becoming faster and faster, she could feel his body tensing the more she moved on him; she loved watching the pleasure he got from her, it only made her want to do it more and more.
He moved his hands back onto her hips and rocked them as he continued to thrust forcefully into her; hitting the right spot each and every time; small moans kept releasing from her lips continuously, she couldn't hold them back. He made himself thrust harder, until his member was completely inside her and repeated.
She began to tense around him, making her tighter as she was close, she moved harder on him, her walls clenching as she soaked him; a groan escaped his lips at her tightness and buried one final and deep thrust within her; he spilled into her, there bodies tense and tingling all around each other, her toes curled and her nails dug into his back so hard that she drew blood.
They remained still for a long moment, completely entangled in each other; he played with the ends of hair that fell down her back, his fingers tracing down her skin.
"I know I say it every time," Elijah spoke, his breathing laboured, "But you're amazing."
"You're amazing," A small grin appearing on her lips as she leaned in to kiss him, "I can't get enough of you."
"Nor I you."
They eventually got out of bed and threw some clothes on, nothing special just Elena's usual jeans and a t-shirt and Elijah wore dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt.
"We should make some breakfast," Elijah smiled, almost excited at the thought of food.
"Sounds great!" They both left the bedroom and headed straight for the kitchen; they tried to sneak past Klaus and Rebekah but they obviously caught on.
Elijah opened the refrigerator and began grabbing everything he could; eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh orange juice and milk for the coffee, he placed them all onto the kitchen island and went into the cupboard, he removed a fresh loaf of bread, butter and a cheeky packet of crisps Rebekah had stashed away.
Elena just watched him closely; he broke a few eggs into a glass bowl and began whisking them, he threw the bacon and sausage onto a hot frying pan and munched away at the crisps, "Sweetie, are you okay?"
"I'm never better," He filled his mouth with crisps and began tossing the bacon and sausage about in the pan, "It's strange, I've never felt this good."
Elena tried to shake it off, putting it down to a trying couple of months with the demon king, maybe he was in crisis. She didn't know.
She just went to the coffee pot that Elijah had brewed and poured herself a mug, adding a splash of milk and a large spoonful of sugar; she took a seat at the dining room table and checked her phone, her eyes often diverting to him to make sure he was okay.
"I have so many missed calls and texts from The Salvatores, Caroline and Jeremy," She took a large sip of coffee and began to sift through them.
"Anything alarming?" He asked.
"Doesn't seem to be, they want me to meet them at The Grill this afternoon, the entire gang," It sounded like a good idea but in the middle of everything that was going on, it didn't seem like the right time, "Maybe I'll just reschedule until after we have dealt with the demon king."
"You should go, Elena," He said before scoffing a piece of toast, once his mouth was clear, he continued to speak, "I know how to reach you and where you'll be, if anything happens, you'll be the first person to know."
"Are you sure?" She was becoming insanely worried about him.
"Of course, you should see your friends and family without us surrounding you,"
"Okay, I'll arrange to meet at 2." She smiled at his words and began texting them all, a sudden wave of excitement hitting her.
Elijah placed the bacon and sausage onto plates and poured the omelette mixture into a separate pan, he popped four pieces of toast into the toaster and poured himself a mug of coffee.
Once all the food was prepared, he plated it up and joined Elena at the table, placing her plate in front of her; he was eating like a mad man.
"Seriously, what is going on with you?" She asked, as she picked and ate actual small bites of her food.
"It's the strangest thing, I'm just starving," Her brow furrowed at his words, completely baffled by it.
"You're eating like I did during our first trip to Pennsylvania," She spoke, somewhat jokingly but also full of truth.
"Is that a bad thing?" He shrugged, shoving more bacon into his mouth.
"Yes, you're a vampire, Elijah, you shouldn't get hungry." She edged towards him slightly, completing scanning over his entire body, "Your cheeks are flushed."
"That's not possible, it may be a trick of the light," He began to worry himself, he looked at the food on his plate and placed his cutlery down, his facial expression changing to complete confusion and concern.
"Elijah, your stomach is growling,"
"That's never happened before," He placed his hand over his stomach and listened, "I think I ate too much."
"Okay, I'm worried," She stood from her chair and stood by the kitchen door, shouting for Klaus and Rebekah.
"What's going on, love?" Klaus spoke, actually sounding like he cared.
"It's Elijah," She paused for a long moment and pointed her head towards him; they both looked at him closely, there eyes widening.
"Did you eat all that, brother?" Klaus asked, his face emitting the confusion they where all feeling.
"Elijah..." Rebekah paused as she neared him, standing close to him, "I can hear your heartbeat, it's faster than normal."
"Call Bonnie, now!" Klaus spat to Rebekah, she nodded her head and rushed out of the room with her phone in hand.
"Klaus, what is it?" Elena's voice was filled with panic, she didn't care to hide it; she sat next to Elijah, her hand in his.
"He appears to be acting like a human." Her lips parted slightly at his words; it was not possible, he couldn't be human or even mimicking one, he'd been a vampire for a thousand years, that doesn't just go away overnight.

They all retreated to the living room, Elijah was sat on the couch, lost in thought and Elena was pacing up and down whilst she waited for Bonnie; she was worrying too much to sit, Klaus was doing the same.
Bonnie walked in a few minutes later, immediately rushing to Elijah's side; she done an initial check of him, noting all his human like features before placing her hand on his chest, she muttered a short spell under her breath and felt a wave of energy push of him; she lowered her hand, her face in complete shock, "He's human."
"Are you sure?" Niklaus spoke, his arms crossed and his foot tapping at the floor.
"Positive," She responded, "I can see his new human-like features; red cheeks, normal breathing and regular pulse and the spell I performed is from my grandmothers grimoire, she wrote it so she could always know who and what she was dealing with."
"Bon, how did this happen?" Elena rushed to her side, eager for an answer; she was so nervous, she was biting at her nails, a bad habit she hadn't done since she was a kid.
"It must have been the spell last night," She pondered, "Maybe instead of just removing the vampire genes from Elijah's blood in your body, it did it in his too."
"That doesn't make sense; if it were that easy to remove the vampire gene then it would have been done before." Klaus argued,
"Maybe it had something to do with Elena and her bloodline, didn't the original Petrova use her blood in the ritual to make you immortal? The spell must have backfired or I focused to much power into it and it had to put it somewhere, this might just be one of those weird coincidences,
"Is it permanent?" Elena asked, she'd was practically just chewing at her nails now, not just lightly biting.
"I'm not sure," Bonnie spoke, "I mean, probably not, the effects of a spell wear off eventually, maybe just keep an eye on him over the next 24 hours and I'll see what I can find out."
"Keep an eye on him? We're in the middle of a bloody war!" Klaus spat, his temper rising.
"Don't yell at her, Klaus, it's not her fault; she even said before we started the spell that it may not work the way we want it too, if we had just left it in the first place then we wouldn't be in this situation." Elena spat back, her voice raising to match his.
"Well, are you going to watch him? I certainly won't be." He continued to argue, her temper also starting to rise.
"Obviously! I'm going to be his wife, I love him and would do anything for him; unlike his own brother," She couldn't contain her yelling; he was angry, her words stinging him slightly, he wasn't seeing straight and he used his speed to race towards her and grab her by the waist and force her into the wall, his face edging nearer to hers, his eyes completely devoid of emotion.
"See," She croaked slightly, the wind was knocked out of her on the impact, "I actually chose to be in this family with not just Elijah but with you and Rebekah also because I care! And yet you still treat me like I'm just another worthless human blood bag."
"Enough!" Elijah finally screamed, he walked towards Klaus and as he neared him, he realised that he wouldn't have the strength to disarm him, this saddened him slightly, "How dare you treat Elena like that? You don't deserve her kindness or her love."
Bonnie had waved her hand slightly and pushed it to the side, Klaus had been flung into the wall and away from Elena, all three of them exited the mansion in a haste and Klaus was left alone to deal with his guilt.
