Eleven's Diary #1

I honestly don't even know where to begin with this entry, so much happened in just one day. It was supposed to be just a normal day too, my first day of freedom after being grounded for that incident in the park. The park had in fact become a lot safer, I'd heard the others talking about the gang no longer going there. Which means it wasn't just chance or an accident that I ran into Troy there when he tried to shoot me. He had been looking for me, likely hunting me down and was waiting for me to be alone and for there to be no other people around before making his move.

That is something that is truly terrifying, under normal circumstances I'd write Troy off as a mouth-breather and ignore him, but as part of the gang, especially since now I know the one who died was Justin, the punk who organized what happened to Anton in the park, I know Tory is much more serious. I mean, on his own I wouldn't be afraid even if he did have the gun, but as part of the gang, they've clearly loaded it and given it to him with orders. Not to mention Tory seems to have gone crazy over Justin's death.

Still can't wrap my head around that, he's dead, how did he die, I know the last time I saw him and possibly any of the gang was that incident at the park. But I can't figure out how he died and where he was found without arousing Hopper's suspicions. Thankfully Hopper came up with a way for me to still have my freedom but keep safe. So now I just have to worry about telling the Party at school tomorrow. I know they're going to freak out.

Of course all this just had to come at a time when I am also dealing with this complicated mess of feelings, mostly in regards to Eric Gibson. No matter how much I try to convince myself otherwise, it's clear now, the only way to handle this, is to meet with him directly, but how do I do that? I wish I knew.
