I honestly thought that El having a crush on Eric and my parents fighting while I try to keep Holly safe was the worst things could be. But now it seems like Eric may be interested in El too, having sent her that letter that she told Max about. I'm not trying to be arrogant when I say this but, I'm smart, my consistently high test scores throughout school can attest to that, but clearly there are some things I still don't understand. For example, what sort of universe gives me a dad that is disappointed in me, parents who get so worked up fighting they more or less forget about their kids, especially their youngest and introduces me to the most beautiful girl in the world, a girl I fell for the moment I saw her, and has someone so much better for her already appear in her life to swoop in and take her. I honestly don't know what's happening anymore. All I know is that soon, Nancy will be visiting for dinner and mom and dad will be playing all nice happy families, as if nothing is wrong. I'm wondering if I should break the illusion, tell Nancy the truth, but I don't know what good that will do...I'm just too tired to think about things like this.
