Author's Note: Teehee. My first poem on here. Just an idea I came up with, at the most, thirty minutes ago... written up even more quickly than "My Brown-Eyed Girl." You can view this as a Troyella, a Troypay, or a Trelsi. :P

Title: And She Regretted Suicide

Summary: A shaky hand went forward and brought the razor close to her. Was this even worth it, was this what she preferred?

Disclaimer: I certainly do NOT own High School Musical or any of its contents.

She sat out on her balcony

And stared up at the sky,

Longing to be in his arms

With no more tears to cry.

Three simple words were all she needed

To know misery had passed.

She'd dream of him; she'd stare at him;

She'd wish that they would last.

But in her heart she knew the truth

And needed a wake-up call--

The hoops star had met someone else,

The fairest of them all.

Her eyes were red as she collapsed

Back onto her bed,

A glint on her night table...

She couldn't let this get in her head.

A shaky hand went forward

And brought the razor close to her.

Was this even worth it,

Was this what she preferred?

A wail escaping from her lips,

She touched the metal to her skin.

She thought about her options

And realized she couldn't always win...

The air grew even grimmer

As she pulled it down her chest;

She pressed it hard, ignored the pain--

God granted her request.

And as she watched from Heaven,

Her life on Earth she missed--

For as she looked down from the clouds

Troy and his love still kissed.

She wanted to be his loving bride

And she regretted suicide.

Author's Note: Depressing enough, eh? Please review. As I've said before, they make me happy. :)
