Eleven's Diary #3
Nervousness, hope, wonder. All these things are what I mainly feel right now. When I got that letter I could hardly believe it. Now I know that some people like Max and Hopper are worried. But this is a chance, I'm sure of it. Tonight, Saturday, at half-eight, I'll be meeting Eric alone in his dorm, I'll have to sneak in somehow as I remember Will saying you can't just walk in unless you're a student there, and we'll be able to talk. I'll finally be able to tell him what's going on with me, how I feel and hopefully, he'll be able to help me clear up all the confusion that has been happening ever since we first met really. Hopper is not happy, he is dead set against me going, not wanting me to be alone with a boy I suppose. Of course I know there's a danger since I'll be out late and that means Troy will be seeking me, but I've told him I'll have taken precautions. But he still won't listen, so I have no choice. I know I'll get in trouble for it, but I'll have to sneak out. I'm positive this meeting with Eric will be worth it. Max was worried not only about Troy, but Jessica. She pointed out that something doesn't feel right about this and wondered if Jessica was involved, but surely that's stretching things a little. Nothing could feel more right and Eric specifically asked to see me alone, that means Jessica won't be there. Maybe we'll have to talk about her, but I'm convinced he doesn't know the real her, the one I see every day at school, maybe I can convince him, It would at least open his eyes to her real self I'm sure. Whatever happens tonight, I know, it's going to be important and change everything.
