Eleven's Diary #6
Eric is going to be okay, I keep reminding myself of that. He's going to be okay, it's going to take a lot, but the insulin shot I gave him stopped him from fully going into shock and bought him enough time that he can now get proper treatment. But now I see just why things were so crazy and convoluted, why Eric was taken. He's back, Dr. Brenner, then man who did all those tests on me, he is back and it's clear he has the same purpose for me as before. In fact, if anything, he seems even more determined now than ever to force me to follow his plan. Knowing p...Brenner like I do, he was setting up in the hopes I would fail, that Eric would die and the pain of losing him would be too much for me, that I'd cut myself off from everybody as a result, would be too scared of losing anyone else that I'd stop being close to everyone. He'd then probably use that moment to come in and take me back to the lab, have me shut off again and try to pull his little scheme. It didn't work, Eric is safe. But what I know now, more than anything is, the danger is not passed, in fact, it's become even worse than before. Now I know that I am not only in his sights, but so is everyone even remotely close to me and things are only going to get worse. I just shudder to think what his next plan will be, because not matter what we try, I fear we simply won't be ready for him and that will cost us dearly.
