December 25th. Hogwarts.

The Wizarding World and its communities are full of ancient and long lasting traditions, celebrations and festivals that can trace their history back to the times when Roman Empire was at its height and before. Unlike with the modern world, those of magical origins have strived to maintain and safeguard traditions of times that were more pagan, incorporating them into their society, and one of those traditions was none other than Yule. An ancient Germanic celebration that once hailed Odin and the dreadful host that he commanded, The Wild Hunt, as well as signified the beginning of a new season and year.

Though this celebration is not known to the wider masses of normal people, it is often regarded as the precursor of the Christmas, though at this moment Hadrian would have much rather celebrated the latter with his family, instead of being here in Hogwarts, alongside his direct boss Phil Coulson. Though he did start his service in the Shield less than half a year ago, he has had more missions and adventures in that span of time than in a year of work in Weapon Plus, and after his last mission in Transia, Coulson assured him that he was free until latter half of January. He had intended to thoroughly enjoy his month long vacation with his friends and family, and Christmas ranked in his what to do list, as he intended to celebrate it with his family in Dorea's mansion, and not get dragged into Wizarding World and any of its shenanigans.

But apparently, someone high up, and Nephalem suspected Dumbledore, have decided that Hadrian could use a bit more of Wizarding World, and so yesterday he was called to SHIELD's HQ in London, just as he had finished buying presents for the girls. Feeling pretty merry and festive, Hadrian thought that it would be just some kind of a routine check-up, a standard procedure, but instead of that he was greeted by Coulson personally, who informed him of two things. One was that there was going to be a celebration of Yule in Hogwarts, and two, they both were invited to go, and it was mandatory for them.

According to Coulson, after the recapture of Grindelwald by SHIELD and his upcoming official trial for crimes, the ICW reached out to SHIELD's supervisors and requested the presence of them at that celebration. This was extremely unusual and unheard of, but given the fact that SHIELD now operated in the Wizarding World and it was best to maintain relations with its governments, Fury was forced to comply with the request. Neither Coulson nor Black had wanted to be present here, but given the fact that it was the direct order from their superior and superior of their boss, they had no choice but to be here, mingling with Wizarding World's nobility and people of power.

Sticking like two sore thumbs, neither of the SHIELD's agents opted to dress up with flare for the effect, with Coulson choosing to stick to his traditional two piece suit, while Hadrian was dressed in three piece suit of the black color scheme, while Phil's was more blue. To say that the Wizards and Witches had gone extra miles for their outfits and how they looked would be an understatement, as there were no two same robes, dresses, suits and other things in this very large hall. Hadrian could clearly see not just members of the British community, but from all over Europe and even from the other continents. French, Spanish, American, Egyptian, Bulgarian, South African- and those were just the more memorable ones that Hadrian had picked up.

For now, he and Coulson were simply left alone, though wizards and witches eyed them quite often, not that it bothered them, as they observed the ball and it's participants.

"Can't say I ever was a fan of the balls or any kind of such formal festivity. I always preferred something a bit more… informal to such events." Phil commented, as he observed the people exchanging pleasantries in a near theatrical way. "I can understand some people enjoying this type of relaxation, but I must admit: Wizarding Communities do take it a whole new level with this grandiose and theatricality." Phil commented, as he took up fruit punch from the table.

"From what I've heard from my grandmother, this is still tame, compared to the official celebrations that the Ministry or Noble Houses like to throw. According to her, more money is spent on cupcakes in those than for the budget of some departments in the Ministry, and when looking at all this… I can say she is right." Hadrian commented, as he sipped his own punch. "Although she was surprised I told her about this Yule Ball. Apparently, Yule Ball was only ever celebrated during some tournament between Hogwarts and two other magical schools, but after it was put onto the shelf and forgotten, so was this ball. Strange, wouldn't you say that it so suddenly got revived and celebrated right here in Hogwarts?"

"Dumbledore's fingerprints are all over this entire thing, it was obvious from the start." Coulson said to Hadrian. "He definitely has some sources through which he learned about Grindelwald before it was announced that we have him."

"Thanks for not mentioning my name, by the way. Last thing I need is dealing with Dumbledore." Hadrian stated with sincerity, as he downed his punch. "I'm not one to complain, but the more I get involved with this world, the less positive my opinion becomes of it and its people. Just remembering the last half a year and half of my missions was involved with Wizarding World and its problems."

"Considering your unique skillset and abilities, you make a perfect operative for this kind of work, but I can see your point, Hadrian. There has been a serious increase in the criminal activity associated with the Wizarding World over the past six years, and not just in England." Coulson agreed with him, as he sipped his drink. "It would seem that Voldemort had been just the first terrorist to pave the way for the rest of them. Almost every month we get word about some new "Dark Lord" or a group of renegades and so on…"

"At least Grindelwald won't be joining them. That man alone could've started a new Magical War and it would've been far worse than the last one." Hadrian noted with relief. "Our of curiosity, did you manage to find out how he had escaped Nurmengard Castle? From I've heard, there was always a sizable contingent of jailers guarding him at all time."

"Surprisingly, the man has been very cooperative with the investigation and interrogation teams after you've brought him. According to him, he had actually foreseen such a possibility and had installed a network of escape routes and charms that would override whatever charms were put to keep him in place. It was never even a prison for him and he used the time in there to regain his strength and figure out what to do next." Coulson explained to Hadrian. "He left the Castle after Voldemort had made his return, and he had long since placed all of the jailers under his spell. Given the fact that only Dumbledore was allowed to him and no one else, and the former never paid him a visit, it isn't surprising that we've learned that he had been loose for so long."

"What is surprising to me that Dumbledore didn't know about his escape, or did he and he never decided to reveal it?" Hadrian asked a question of Coulson, who did not have an answer to that. "I wouldn't put it past Dumbledore to have kept that as a secret, maybe because of their past relations, or because he could be of use to him."

"Or Dumbledore had made a mistake of being overconfident and now it came back to bite him." Coulson offered. "Whatever the case, he won't be having any say in what happens to Gellert in the next few days."

"The date for trial has already been set?" Harry asked of him, with Phil nodding to him. "Will my presence be necessary, or will my report suffice?"

"A special commission made out of representatives of representatives of UN and Wizarding World will be considering his fate, but from what I was told, the verdict is already decided, even though Dumbledore had tried to protest it." Coulson stated. "Some had requested the presence of the man who had captured him, but Director Fury had assures that your report will be more than sufficient. Once we are through with this, you can go back to your vacation."

"I'd much rather not even be here." Hadrian let out a sigh. "Any idea why was I of all people requested to be here with you, sir? I can understand that as the Sub-Director of SHIELD and chief of all European operations you are important enough for this, but me? I am just a Special Agent with Level 7 access, specializing in combat, reconnaissance and elimination of threat, not a pencil pusher or a bureaucrat that gets to do this kind of thing. No offence to you personally, sir."

"None taken and I can understand your confusion and irritation. Those who have "Special" status operate under a slightly different clearance system, which makes your access and rank level 8 in comparison to normal agents, due to the specialized nature of your work." Coulson reminded to Nephalem. "However, you are right. Special Agents are not usually invited to such events, nor are named by members of the Council and ordered to attend like that. My suspicion is that Dumbledore has gotten wind of you."

"He's gotten wind of me ever since Gringotts and I've got a feeling that I'm about regret my decision to go there on that day." Hadrian motioned to Coulson, pointing towards an older looking witch coming to them through the crowd.

"Excuse me, gentlemen, are you Phillip Coulson and Hadrian Black?" The woman asked with a slight Scottish accent, with both nodding to her. "I am Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts and Head of House of Gryffindor. Headmaster Dumbledore and Minister Fudge express their apologies for not greeting you at the entrance. Given the nature of the event, they were preoccupied with entertaining foreign dignitaries. They are hoping that you weren't insulted by it."

"No, we weren't, Professor. If anything, it allowed us to slip almost unnoticed." Phil joked a little, hinting at the attention he and Hadrian were getting.

"Yes, apologies for all the unwanted attention. We should've warned you about the dress-code." Minerva said with apology. "You two are rather… modestly dressed for the occasion." She said with an almost hidden disappointment.

"Forgive us, Professor, but this is the standard dress-code when it comes to such events in the normal world. You and everyone else may be here for festivities, but Sub-Director Coulson and I are here because it is our job." Hadrian noted with a small hint of irritation. "So forgive us, Professor, for choosing professionalism over… extravagance."

"I was told that you would be attending this as honored guests, not as agents of SHIELD." Minerva pointed it out. "I believe it was made quite clear in the invitation."

"Miss McGonagall, Special Agent Black and I are agents of SHIELD on a permanent basis, and this was a mandatory invitation, one that we had no choice in turning down. Given the nature of it, we both chose the most appropriate attires, as is directed by SHIELD's protocol for such social events." Coulson revealed to her, with Minerva clearly not informed of it.

"I see. In any event, I had been asked by Minister to bring both of you to him and Headmaster. Now, gentlemen, if you would follow me, I shall take you straight to them." She stated and the two agents of SHIELD followed her, with Minerva deciding to speak up. "Special Agent Black, is it? I am sorry, but were you the man who had interjected in the hostage situation in Gringotts, back in October?"

"That is one way of putting it, but yes, that was me." Hadrian stated.

"Hm, I must admit that I never would've thought to see one of your family serving in any capacity in an organization such as SHIELD. House of Black and it's members have a rather… disreputable attitude when it comes to following rules and obeying the law." Minerva admitted with contempt, clearly directed to Hadrian.

"How strange, because during his service in SHIELD, Agent Black exhibited nothing but professionalism, discipline and integrity, and nothing that would be considered disreputable." Coulson stated.

"Perhaps so, but as I recall, you have entered in a clear hostile conflict with James Potter, Agent Black. From what I have heard, you've all but directly started ordering him and the Aurors around, disregarding proper protocol and ethics." Minerva stated to Hadrian. "Though you may be a Squib, you clearly have at least some qualities of Blacks."

"Perhaps so, and you clearly exhibit all of Gryffindor's most notorious traits, Madam Professor, as befit of your position." Hadrian's tone clearly shown that he was not going to take such underhanded insults, with Minerva catching on to that. "But that is to be expected of the Head of Gryffindor, known for acting and reacting, rather than thinking and analyzing. Such menial and unworthy things are best left to Slytherins and Ravenclaws."

"Are you trying to insult me, sir?" She asked of him with an indignant eye, while Coulson simply remained silent and observed this exchange

"Not in the slightest, I am merely replying to you in a manner that you yourself have taken to use with me." Hadrian replied to her with a slight smirk. "Had I been insulted, you would've known, Deputy Headmistress."

"Yet your tone would suggest otherwise." Minerva pointed out.

"I could say the same of your tone, and of the way you looked at me, ma'am." Hadrian stated. "If you wish, I can be more candid and say that I am not someone who is going to let himself be insulted just because of his ancestry and nature, be they normal people or magicals."

"It would seem that you exhibit more traits of House Black than I previously anticipated, Agent Black." She stated with furrowed brow. "I can see why Arcturus Black would speak so highly of you now."

"And I can see why Dorea Black has always spoken so lowly of you, ma'am." Hadrian bit back.

"Miss McGonagall, I believe we will find our way from here on our own. Our thanks." Coulson decided to step in, once they were just a few scant meters away from the table of Minister of Magic, with Minerva nodding to them and leaving them. "Is this really how most wizards and witches look upon Squibs?" He asked of Nephalem.

"I think I am something of a special case, given that I am the only Squib in here." Hadrian simply stated to him, as they reached the large table, where Minister of Magic himself immediately greeted them personally.

"Ah, there they are!" Cornelius Fudge rose up and hastily shook hands with them.

"Minister Fudge." Both Hadrian and Phil responded with same reserved way to him.

"Oh please no need for such formalities. You can call me Cornelius." He said to them, being clearly in a festive mood, before inviting them to the table. "Come, allow me to introduce you to my personal guests." And then he went on to introduce Coulson and Black to those who sat at the table with him.

Some of the guests were already known to Hadrian, like Lucius Malfoy and his wife Narcissa, who now greeted him with in a far more amicable way, while James Potter was quite reserved in his greetings. Thankfully, Arcturus Black was also there and greeted Hadrian as if he were his own son, something that surprised all guests on the table, including Frank and Alice Longbottom, while Amelia Bones simply raised her eyebrow at this one, though all three were pleasant in their greetings. However, they were not the focus of Hadrian's attention for the moment, as while he hid it well, he had focused his telepathy on Lily Potter, shifting through her mind and finding that he was correct in his belief that Sinister had not shared a thing with her. Aside from that, the woman that had given birth to him did not even recognize him and greeted him in the same pleasant manner, as did the others, though Hadrian was far less receptive towards her affections. And then finally, came the turn of Dumbledore, and Hadrian had to admit, that a good part of him really wanted to punch the man in the face, with the way his eyes seemed to twinkle when he looked at him.

"Ah, Mr. Black, I must admit, that I have been looking forward to meeting you for quite some time now." Dumbledore said with a grandfatherly tone to Hadrian, as they shook hands.

"Finally, something that we actually agree upon, Dumbledore." Arcturus commented with a chuckle. "I now have at least someone with brains and an independent opinion to talk to. Maybe this whole evening won't be such a waste of time after all."

"Ah, please ignore Lord Black, gentlemen. He has a unique way with words." Cornelius laughed as the two agents had sat down. "Now, shall we get you anything? Champaign, please!" Cornelius immediately ordered.

"None for us thank you." Coulson immediately declined for both himself and Hadrian, surprising almost everyone at the table.

"But this is a celebration, Mr. Coulson, and surely, even men of duty such as you and Mr. Black, can spare a moment to relax and enjoy the festivities." Dumbledore said, trying to convince them. "Perhaps you, Mr. Black, would be more inclined to enjoy the Ball?"

"I'm afraid that I am of the same mind as my superior officer, Mr. Dumbledore." Hadrian replied in a reserved tone. "As you have said, we are men of duty, and when we do not mix pleasure with work. It is unprofessional, to say the least." Hadrian hinted at the fact that they were not here out because they were given a choice.

"Good choice of words and it saves you from tasting this swill that they are serving." Arcturus commented snidely. "You have all the money to turn Hogwarts into a comedy show, yet none to buy half decent drinks. Honestly, Dumbledore, who did all the preparations? That grease haired gargoyle of a Death Eater you are keeping around? Because at least that would explain the quality of beverages in here being lower than Werewolves piss."

"No, Severus would actually come to me for advice if he were put in charge of such events, and as you know, Lord Black, Malfoys are unparalleled when it comes to quality of festivities." Lucius commented. "I suspect that Headmaster heeded an advice of some uncultured and utterly uncivilized brute. Perhaps his half-Giant groundskeeper, or maybe Potter here, infamous for his… preferred drinks."

"At least I'm not known for spewing bile every time I speak up, unlike some snake tongued bastards I know." Potter replied with a bit of an anger showing.

"Gentlemen, I thought I was invited to sit at the table with grown up people, not squabbling children." Amelia Bones spoke up, drawing the attention. "Mind your manners, at least in front of other people. Apologies, Agents. As you can see, there are still some unresolved issues left hanging since the war."

"As is with all conflicts of such nature." Black simply stated, with Coulson agreeing with him. "It is often hard to move on for some people, and they are stuck in the past gone, not realizing that it is already over."

"Speaking from experience, Agent Black?" Frank Longbottom asked of him.

"In part, yes." Hadrian replied.

"Well then, maybe as someone who is not of the Wizarding community and unburdened by our quarrels, you could tell us, should we be forgiving towards those who had not so long ago sided with the Dark Lord?" Alice Longbottom asked of him, with Minister looking at bit disturbed at the fact that she asked that question. "Perhaps you have heard that a great many of the so called "forced" supporters of Him have been pardoned and let go, despite the crimes they've committed. Do you think that it was fair towards the victims and people who suffered at their hand, to be allowed freedom with no reprocautions?"

"Lady Longbottom, I do not think that it is appropriate time and place for such discussions." Minister decided to try to interject.

"I am not well versed in the principals of your judicial system, Lady Longbottom, but in my personal opinion, forgiveness is something that must be earned, not offered." Hadrian replied to her question. "Even if these people were "forced" to take up arms and fight for Voldemort, it does not absolve them of their crimes. If justice is blind for a reason, but not heartless, and there are of course different circumstances for all people and they must be taken into the account."

"And yet those are not mercy or forgiveness, taking them into the account when deciding fate of a person." Amelia pointed out, with Hadrian agreeing with her.

"However, when one forgets about mercy and let's only cold pursuit of vengeance take hold of them, they lose what makes them human. A person should always be afforded a second chance to go good, not persecuted for the mistakes made in a moment of weakness." Dumbledore said with his usual tone, with James nodding to it immediately. "Those who were pardoned had earned their right to show to the world and themselves that they are have changed."

"But have they earned that right, have they shown remorse?" Hadrian suddenly asked of him. "Remorse is also a factor in the judgement, Headmaster Dumbledore, and if true, it is a sign that they are on their way to earn that forgiveness. The question is then: have those people exhibited remorse, and in what way?"

"A most direct way, Agent Black, of that I can assure you." Dumbledore stated to him with a small smile.

"Yes, and you are so easily assured of all things, Headmaster." Bones sarcastically stated. "Like of the fact that Grindelwald had been locked up in Nurmengard for ages and yet, all of a sudden, SHIELD captured him less than two weeks ago, after he had murdered 66 children and over 20 Aurors in Eastern Europe."

"Now, now, Lady Bones, this is clearly completely unrelated to what you may have been implying…" Cornelius tried to speak up, but was interrupted and ignored.

"My dear Amelia, I shall be the first to admit that I have underestimated the capacity of Grindelwald's cruelty and craftiness." Dumbledore spoke with what seemed to be remorse. "Rest assured, that when he is handed back in the proper authorities, I shall make sure that he is not allowed to escape ever again."

"Perhaps we best leave him with the SHIELD, they clearly have shown themselves capable of capturing him, despite not knowing anything about him, yet you couldn't do it for almost fifty years." Amelia suggested. "Tell us, Sub-Director Coulson, what measures were taken to prevent Grindelwald's escape?"

"I am afraid I am not at liberty of discussing this, Lady Bones." Coulson stated, with Amelia smiling to him.

"And that is already more responsible than what was done last time." Bones commented.

"Sub-Director, while I understand that this is private matter, as Supreme Mugwamp of ICW, I would like to know when will you be returning Gellert Grindelwald in to Wizarding World for a proper trial?" Dumbledore decided to try his luck here.

"I'm afraid I can't tell you, Supreme Mugwamp Dumbledore." Coulson replied to him, surprising him.

"I am uncertain if you realize the significance of the rank that I hold, Sub-Director." Dumbledore clearly was not too pleased when he was denied. "As a Supreme Mugwamp, I am in all but name stand as the leader and head of International Confederacy of Wizards, the highest ruling apparatus of the Wizarding World, and one that is responsible for handling such issues."

"I assure you, Headmaster, that Sub-Director Coulson and Director Fury, as well as everyone else with appropriate access to information, are quite aware of your significance and importance." Hadrian replied. "However, as I am certain you can understand, as official Agents of SHIELD, we are obligated by our rules to not reveal anything that is related to classified materials, like investigations, subjects of those or our prisoners and their fates. If you want to get your answers, you will need to go through appropriate channels, Headmaster." Hadrian took pleasure in the look on Dumbledore's face, as he sat down.

"Say, Hadrian, you seemed rather close to my mother when I saw you at the bank. Where did she find you, some unknown dirty little secret of House Black, and one who oh so happens to have the name of Hadrian?" James asked with not so pleasant smile, with Hadrian hardening his gaze at him. "Did she ever tell you about my and Lily's son, Harry, or Hadrian as she liked to call him? Maybe you've even met him." Coulson and Arcturus didn't like where this was heading.

"Yes, I've heard about him." Hadrian replied in a reserved tone.

"And did she ever tell you of what had happened to him?" James asked further.

"I know what had happened to him, about how you entrusted him to a man named Nathaniel Essex, and how now both of them are missing, quite possibly being dead." Hadrian's eyes narrowed a little, gauging the reactions of Potters.

"Dead? Well, that is a shame. Nathaniel was a good friend, and a confidant, despite his status as a Squib." Lily replied. "Are you certain of that?"

"Oh well, this is life, Lily. A shame that he has vanished, but hey…" James didn't even show the smallest amount of concern for what had happened to Harry.

"Interesting reaction you both have. All concerns for some man that none know about, yet nothing when it comes to your very own son." Hadrian pointed out.

"Mr. Black, perhaps Dorea had omitted to mention, but Harry, he wasn't fit for our world, as he was…" Dumbledore tried to speak up.

"A Squib, just like you, and yet both she and my father loved him more than all of our other children combined, despite him being of absolutely no consequence to our family and House as a whole." James stated, continuing. "You know, I've always found it disgusting, how they've treated him, like he was a normal child and all that. It was like they've forgotten what it means, to be a Wizard and a Witch, and to think that my mother would be so mad for doing what needed to be done."

"Perhaps Dorea, unlike some, didn't find it disgusting to feel love for a child that was abandoned by his parents." Hadrian replied, with his fist tightening underneath the table.

"Say, does she still search for him, after all these years? You know, I never got to ask you, what is exactly your relation towards her?" James' face clearly showed that he was enjoying it. "Are you her cousin, nephew… Or lover?"

"Excuse me?" Hadrian was honestly surprised when he had suggested it, as were others.

"Come now, you a Black, so surely you know that's is nothing new, aunts fucking their nephews and all that, or does she have you playing part of her grandson?" James crassly asked of Hadrian, with almost everyone at the table looking at him with shock. "I mean, you are a Black, a Squib, plus somewhat attractive at some angle, and you are named Hadrian. After all, with all that strange affection she had towards Harry, it wouldn't surprise me if she had…" At that moment James yelled in pain, as he clutched his leg, with Arcturus Black giving him a deadly glare.

"You better shut your mouth, Potter, or else you'll lose it, along with your manhood." Arcturus fiercely stated to him. "You ask about Dorea's relation towards Hadrian? Well I will tell you myself- he is her son and my grandson, and compared to you, Hadrian is every bit a man that that Charlus was and his birth son is not. And if I hear you or your whore speaking ill of Dorea, Hadrian or Harry for that matter, you'll live only long enough to regret your words."

"Lord Black, surely such threat and words have no place here at this table." Dumbledore tried to placate him, but Arcturus didn't care.

"No, this table deserves far worse, since it entertains filth like this one." Arcturus glanced with fury at James, before his gaze softened up and he turned towards Hadrian, with the music starting to pick up. "Hadrian, how good are you in Viennese waltz?"

"As good as with every other type." Hadrian replied calming down. "Why do you ask, grandfather?"

"Well, before you and Mr. Coulson here have joined us, Lady Bones stated that in Viennese waltz no man could match her." Arcturus internally grinned when he saw Amelia blush. "Care to put her claim to the test?"

"I would not mind, if my superior and the Lady herself do not object." Hadrian stated.

"I believe I can you for a dance, Agent." Coulson smiled to him.

"Well, at least it will be better than sitting here. Well, Mr. Black, come, if you dare." Amelia said in a challenging manner, as she and Hadrian rose up and moved to the floor, taking positions and beginning to dance, with Hadrian taking the lead. "Hm, not bad. I like it when a man knows how and when to take a lead. And you definitely know how to hold a lady." She noted as they moved in dance.

"And you make for an excellent partner, milady, despite earlier claim." He stated to her, not losing pace with Amelia keeping up. "Apologies for this ruckus. It would seem I have a rather disturbing effect on people."

"Ah, paid no mind to what that prick James told you. I swear, ever since he became Lord Potter, his head and ego grew to the size of London." She said, keeping pace. "He was always a bully and a creep, loving to pick on others and making himself look good in the process. The only reason he even made through Hogwarts without half of the students trying to strangle him is because of Dumbledore taking a shine to him."

"Yeah, I've noticed that he definitely doesn't filter his thoughts and words." Hadrian noted, as they twirled and Amelia was surprised at how good Hadrian was.

"Ow wow, you had me a little worried right now, but it seems you know your moves." She said with a smile, as they began transitioning in the final part. "Say, Hadrian, can I call you that?"

"Only if you permit me calling you Amelia." Hadrian said softly.

"Alright, Hadrian, is SHIELD interested in employing members of Wizarding community in their folds?" She asked of him, as they danced.

"SHIELD is always interested in employing people of various different skills and talents, if they are prepared to fight for the world and defend innocent people, against those who seek to use and hurt them." Hadrian replied. "A steadfast and principled witch like you would certainly fit in, if that is what you are interested in."

"I see you've done your homework." Amelia noted with a smile. "Say I join you, will I be given a Special Agent status, like you have?"

"Only if it is deemed necessary and if you answer the parameters." Hadrian replied. "Being a "Special" Agent means that you are given duties and missions that are outside of capacity for most to complete, possessing hazards that can prove to be too much for even veterans."

"Really? And just what kind of hazards do they send you to take care off?" She asked in a playful manner.

"The kind that most won't believe in." Hadrian said to her.

"Then what's the harm in telling me, since I won't believe it?" Amelia asked with a playful smile.

"Because I'm afraid that a witch as smart as she is beautiful might just believe it to be true." Hadrian stated, as they ended their dance and bowed to each other. "Whether you decide to join or not, I will admit that you are a wonderful dance partner, Amelia."

"So are you and I'll let you know, if I decide to find out if what you are saying is true." Amelia told him with a smile, as they turned to see Minister of Magic rising up preparing to give a speech. "And the evening was starting looking up… I hope you can sleep with your eyes open, because Fudge really loves to hear his own voice."

"I can manage." Hadrian replied.

"Thank you, thank you all for attending this special ball. As you know, the Yule Ball has always been a celebration that always brought us together in one place, wizards and witches of all classes and nations, as one." Cornelius began his speech. "Though it has fell out of favor, I and my colleagues decided that in this new millennium it has need and place again, so from now on, every Yule Ball shall be hosted here in Hogwarts, in the greatest school of magic." The public, especially the British one, cheered

"In Dumbledore's opinion, no doubt." Hadrian commented, with Amelia noted.

"However, that is not all. As you all undoubtedly know, several years ago the ICW had officially allowed a peacekeeping organization known as SHIELD to cooperate and assist the magical governments all around the world. I know for us all this was quite a shock and an upheaval of our old ways, but it is time to look to the future and not past." Cornelius continued. "And it is time to officially welcome and accept SHIELD as our friend and ally. It is my honor and pleasure to inform you, that after much deliberation with Supreme Mugwamp and Chief Warlock of Wizengamot, the British Ministry of Magic has created an official post of liaisons between SHIELD and Ministry, and we have made our choice in who shall fill these roles. Ladies and gentlemen, please give a round of applause to James Potter and Hadrian Black as official liaisons from Ministry and SHIELD respectively." Cornelius applauded to James and Hadrian, as did the most, but not those who were smart enough, along with Coulson and Hadrian, who were both shocked by what he just stated.

"Is this for real?" Amelia asked, before she looked at Hadrian. "You… You didn't know about it?"

"No, and neither did Sub-Director Coulson… Or Director Fury for that matter." Hadrian replied to her as shock abated and gave place to hardened cold mind. "If you will excuse me, Amelia, Minister and I will have words." Hadrian departed Amelia and walked towards Cornelius Fudge, who was obliviously happy, with Dumbledore and Potter also quite jovial.

"Ah, Hadrian! Marvelous dancing with Lady Bones, I must…" Fudge spoke up, but was interrupted by Hadrian.

"Cut the chit-chat, Fudge, and explain to me and Sub-Director, what the hell was that?" Hadrian's cold tone was enough to finally sober them all up, as he glared at them. "A liaison from SHIELD to Ministry and back? Nobody has ever heard about that position, and you just announce like that?"

"Well it was supposed to be a secret, like a Christmas present. C'mon, Black, can't you be glad you actually get some recognition, despite being…" Potter did not get to finish, as Coulson spoke up.

"Mister Potter, for all our sakes, shut up and keep quiet while the grown-ups talk." Coulson shut him up, before turning to Fudge and Dumbledore. "Minister Fudge, Chief Warlock, as my subordinate had demanded, I would like an explanation to this? I am quite aware of any serious change being made within the SHIELD in advance of it, and I know that there was never going to be such a position to be created."

"Well… It was actually supposed to be a surprise, to both SHIELD and Wizarding World, and I assure you, once your superiors hear about this idea, they'll immediately implement it." Cornelius stated in a jovial way, with Hadrian and Coulson exchanging glances, before turning to Dumbledore, knowing that it was his idea.

"Mr. Coulson, Mr. Black, I can understand your initial apprehension, but I assure you, that this is a decision that has been long in the making and after much deliberation and consultation, the Minister and I have come a conclusion that it is a necessary one in our current circumstances." Dumbledore stated. "Surely, two men of your expertise and experience would see the value in better cooperation between us."

"I can agree that there is some value to your words, Chief Warlock, but that is not the issue. The issue is that presume that the SHIELD will not just accept this proposal, but approve of it and do exactly as you say, just because you told it to." Coulson stated with narrowed eyes at Dumbledore. "SHIELD is not a subordinate to the ICW or to your Ministry, and we answer only to UN, and any decision of such importance and nature can't be made by just one side. You've not informed or even hinted to SHIELD about it in any form."

"Mr. Coulson, I assure you, that such small details are…" Dumbledore tried to speak up.

"These are not "small details", but massive issues that you just up and ignored in favor of just doing whatever the hell you want. This is not how SHIELD operates, Dumbledore, and we don't just jump when some unrelated old codger tells us to do so." Hadrian stated to Dumbledore, who was surprised at the fury in Hadrian's voice. "You ain't some fucking God who gets to decide who does what, and you don't get to demand anything from anyone!"

"Mr. Black, Hadrian, I can see that you are confused…" Dumbledore tried to placate him

"Confused? Try "fucking furious", that's what I am, because I suddenly find out that you decided to make me that liaison, without even bothering to tell anyone anything!" Hadrian stated as the hall's cheers died finally. "I will not work with you or you Ministry in any capacity, because I know where my loyalties lie, and they are not with you, you scheming parasite."

"Hadrian, I assure you that this decision was made after much deliberation, and you were chosen because of your unique connection to the Wizarding World and SHIELD, and I promise you, that this is a massive opportunity for you. You will be given a special position within the Ministry, help our worlds work together, and cooperate, just like James will do." Dumbledore tried convince him. "Despite your affliction, I promise you that none will look down on a man of your importance and…"

"And I don't give a damn about what you have to offer, because I will not accept it, nor will I ever work with that man." Hadrian pointed to James, before turning back to Dumbledore. "Find someone else to make your puppet. Sub-Director." Hadrian nodded to him, with Coulson knowing what it meant, and silently allowed him to leave, with Black stepping away from them all and moving towards the exit.

"M-Mr. Black, you can't just leave! This… This is inappropriate!" Cornelius shouted towards him. "I order you to return back and accept that position! As your Minister of Magic, I…"

"You are not my superior and I am not part of Ministry, so I couldn't give a damn about what is appropriate or not to you." Hadrian stated as he began to move towards the doors.

"Mr. Coulson, y-you can't just let him leave! He is disobeying direct orders from his superiors!" Cornelius stated to him.

"No, he is following them. And allow me to assure you, that Director Fury will hear of this, as will the UN, and you will have a lot to answer for, both of you." Coulson stated to them, before turning and leaving with his agent, having had enough of this charade.

"What, that's it? You are just going to run back to my mommy like a little bitch?!" James decided to get back to his antics. "Yeah, you pathetic Squib, run back, because you would never last near us! Maybe my mother will drop on her knees and make you feel all better with her mouth!" At that point Hadrian has had enough, stopping in his tracks, with Coulson knowing that this was it.

"Hadrian…" Coulson tried to call out to him, but it was too late, as Hadrian walked past him and went straight towards James.

"Oh, so you do have some balls. Well, so what do you have to…" James arrogantly prattled on, when Hadrian finally reached him and then punched him straight in the stomach, making the man double down and throw up wine and food that were inside of him, to the horror and shock of everyone, while Hadrian grabbed him by his hair and brought him to his eyes.

"You speak another word about my mother, and I'll break your spine next." Hadrian coldly threatened him, before punching square in the face, breaking his nose and several teeth, before pushing him the arms of the shocked Dumbledore, who caught him.

"M-Mr. Black, wh-what is the meaning of this?!" Dumbledore screamed at him in fury and shock, while Hadrian took out a hanker and wiped James's blood of his knuckle

"This is me honoring my mother, as a Black should do." Once Hadrian was done with his knuckle, he effortlessly threw the hanker at unconscious James. "Here, wipe him off." And with that, Hadrian finally has had enough of the place and departed, reaching Coulson and together they moved towards the exit, ignoring the shocked glances and shouts from Minister and Dumbledore.

"You could've gone easier on him, but then again, if I were your place, I would've done much more than just break his nose and face." Coulson commented. "Still, you realize that I will have to report it."

"I'm counting on it." Hadrian simply stated to him, as they finally left the Great Hall. "At least the party is over, and I can make it home before the fun starts." The two were now in the courtyard with none in the vicinity to see them.

"At least someone is getting to have fun tonight. I will have the pleasure of telling Director what had happened here." Coulson said with a chuckle, before they stopped before his car, parked outside of the castle's yard. "Wanna a lift?"

"Thanks, I've got my own ride." Hadrian said, as he materialized Yamato and sliced air with it two times, creating a portal, large enough for Coulson's car. "Should take you straight to London, save up on the fuel and time."

"That is very kind of you, thanks." Phil said, as he sat in his car and ignited it. "Merry Christmas, Hadrian."

"Merry Christmas, Phil." And with that, Phil activated his flying car and flew straight into the portal, before it closed behind him.

"So, I guess that is part of the reason why you are a "Special" Agent, as opposed to being a normal one." Hadrian turned and saw Amelia Bones, looking at him with a curious eye, dressed in a fur coat that covered her dress. "I was hoping to tell you that I was sorry for what had happened, but I will admit, that this is not what I had expected to see."

"Yeah, you weren't really supposed to see it, Amelia." Hadrian agreed with her. "I really don't want to, but I'm afraid that I'm gonna have to make you forget what you just saw."

"And in what way would you do it? Threaten me?" Amelia asked of him.

"No, I've got less… direct ways." He said to her.

"Before you decide to employ those ways, take a look of this." Amelia reached out to her purse, pulled out a mobile phone, and then showed a picture on it to Hadrian. "That's my niece, Susan, she is 7, and she is all I have left after the war. Her mom died after a raid in St. Mungo's when she was less than two weeks old, while Voldemort killed her father, my older brother, personally."

"I'm sorry for you and your niece, but why are you telling me this?" He asked of her, genuinely confused.

"Because we were in London, when Proteus attacked and turned the whole city into hell scape, and Susan… I saw her mauled and eaten by a chimera, right before my eyes, before it did the same to me." Amelia told him with sigh. "The last thing I remember was looking at my niece's corpse… But then she and I… We were brought back as if nothing had ever happened, and the first thing I did was go to Susan and hug her. Later on, I found out that it was some new superhero who went by the name of Nephalem who had saved everyone. Then, I started doing research on him and I found out a few things about him: he is a white haired man, he has some form of unique magical power, and he uses a long Japanese sword as main weapon. Now… Now I see a guy who fits the profile, and I find out that I just had the best dance in my life with him." Hadrian could tell that it was true from the way she looked him in the eye.

"Well, you were actually my first actual dance partner, and I enjoyed it very much." Hadrian admitted, with Amelia chuckling at it. "So, now you've found who you were looking for. What are you going to do now?" Hadrian asked of him, with Amelia stepping closer to him.

"This." Amelia leaned forward and kissed Hadrian on his cheek, making him blush a little. "That is for the dance. And this." After that, she grabbed him with both of her hands and pulled to her, kissing him in the lips.

This was definitely not, what Hadrian had expected and he was taken aback by such turn of events, as Amelia took charge of things. This was not his first kiss, the honor of taking that one went to Eva, when they got a little curious about such things, but it was way back in Weapon Plus, in a rare moment of peace. It was worlds apart from what he was experiencing with Amelia, as her lips were searing hot and transmitted the sheer passion and desire, making Hadrian give in and gently hugged her, pulling her closer. It took the two of them a few minutes to finally have enough, and Amelia pulled away from him without a breath and quite flushed, with the shade of blush complimenting her light brown hair and ember eyes.

"W-wow…" Amelia said, with Hadrian agreeing with her. "You definitely know how take a girl's breathe away…"

"I could say the same about you." Hadrian said with a bit of an embarrassed way, as they distanced from each other a little. "You don't do anything by half, do you?" He asked of her with chuckle.

"What can I say? When I make my mind, I'm like a force of nature, don't stop at half measures." Amelia smiled to him, as she caught her breathe.

"Yeah… Look, Amelia, I'm glad to get to know, and… And for the kiss, but…" Hadrian tried to explain to explain to her in the best way that if she sought more from him, he was not ready for it.

"Hey, don't worry, I get it." She told him with a soft smile. "You just met and danced with me, and then I just straight up kissed you out of nowhere. I know some people who would take advantage of it, yeah, but… I can see that you are not that kind of a person, Hadrian."

"I'd never dare, and… Look, Amelia, my life is complicated, and you could say that I'm still trying to get a hold of it, in some way." Hadrian breathed out as it was complicated to explain, but Amelia did not seem to mind it. "You… I know that you are nice, a-and amazing, but I'm…"

"Hey, take it easy, okay. I told you that I get it, and, while the kiss and dance were great, I know when I'm intruding and confusing people." Amelia told him with a soft smile.

"W-well, you are not exactly intruding… God, I can't even… I've never had something like that happen to me." Hadrian said with an exasperated sigh, with Amelia simply walking to him and pulling him closer, so as to making him look in her eyes.

"Hey, don't over think it, Nephalem. You saved my niece, our entire country, and me. You danced with me and treated me like a gentleman, and I yeah, swooned for you, maybe a bit more than I expected." Amelia admitted to him, before she kissed him again in the cheek. "I'll admit that I'm interested in learning more about Hadrian Black and not simply Nephalem, but only if you are interested."

"Well… I wouldn't be opposed to it, per say…" Hadrian admitted, as he could not deny that Amelia definitely attracted him. "I just… I do not want to make it awkward and… I've got no experience in this sort of thing…"

"Then that makes two of us. I won't pressure you or anything, all I ask, if you want it, that we take it slow and steady, okay?" She told him with small smile, before she pulled away. "So, how about we exchange numbers, for a start?" She offered him, with Hadrian agreeing to it.

"Sure. Although I'm surprised that a witch has a phone and knows how to use it." Hadrian admitted, as he input her number, and Amelia input his into her telephone.

"Well, it's a new century and the whole parchment and owl has really grown old, if you ask me. Plus… I'm kinda afraid of the owls and just terrible with them." Amelia admitted with embarrassment. "Dad and mom didn't really like me getting curious about the whole muggle world, but Brian was all for it and he encouraged me so…"

"You must've been very close." Hadrian noted as he saw the look of sadness on her face.

"We were born almost fifteen years apart, but he was the best big brother I could ask for, always supportive and never one to judge. He encouraged me to go to Hufflepuff instead of Gryffindor, said that being Hufflepuff was not a mark of shame, but a badge of honor and pride." She said with a smile. "I barely got out of the Hogwarts when Voldemort started his war in earnest, and when it hit my family… Sorry, I know I said I did not want to make it complicated and push it, yet here I am just… I didn't want to push it on to you, I'm just…"

"No, it is alright, I get it. I've got something of an experience when it comes to such things, listening to people." Hadrian admitted, calming her down with a smile. "Your niece is lucky to have you, Amelia."

"Thank you, Hadrian." She said, before she turned towards Hogwarts. "You know that Fudge and Dumbledore will make your life hell for embarrassing them like that?" She asked of him with a dare.

"And do I look like I care?" He asked of her with a smile, with Amelia laughing at that. "I hate it when people try to decide things for me, especially people like Dumbledore. I have… I've had enough of his kind telling me what to do."

"I hope that doesn't mean wizarding kind." Amelia asked with a small smile.

"No, just those who like to play with lives of others while trying to keep their hands clean." Hadrian clarified, with Amelia agreeing with him, as she stepped closer to him.

"Well, whatever the case, you sure made my evening, and for a lot of people there as well." She admitted to him. "So, how about lunch a day after tomorrow? I know a place in London where they serve the best stuff, and where they care about customers' privacy." She offered him.

"I would love it." Hadrian said with a smile, as he hesitantly leaned to Amelia, with her silent permission letting him kiss her in the cheek. "So, is this where…"

"Don't worry, I'll call you." She assured him, as she pulled the furs closer to herself, feeling the cold bite her a little. "I don't suppose you could do that whole trick with the sword and that gate thing…" Hadrian chuckled, as he pulled Yamato out of his sheath, knowing that they were not being watched, thankful for it.

"How about I magic trick? Think about where you want to go, just think of the place and have an image of it in your mind." Amelia trusted him and did just that, and Harry saw clearly the image of Bones' estate, before he created the portal with Yamato, showing her the grounds of her estate through it.

"How did you… Wait, I also heard that you are considered a mutant... You just read my mind, didn't you?" She asked of with a mischievous look in in her eyes.

"Just this one small thing, nothing more. On my magic I do so swear." He stated to her, with magic confirming his words. "Like I said, my life is complicated and… There are a lot of things you might not believe in, even if say them."

"I don't know, I remember you saying that I might be smart enough to believe in them." She reminded him with a bit of flirty tone. "But I'll settle on what I already know. Wouldn't want to spoil the surprises." She said as she went to the portal.

"Even if some of them will not be what you expect to find?" Hadrian asked of her in serious tone, and she stopped near him and leaned in closer to him.

"Like I said, I don't stop at half measures, and half way through, and I've not even started the walk." She told him, before she leaned in and kissed him on the lips, before pulling back. "But I'm eager to walk it, and see all it has to offer, good and bad. Merry Christmas, my Black Knight." She told him with a wink.

"Merry Christmas, my fair lady." He replied with a bow, as Amelia smiled to him and then left through the portal, closing it, with Hadrian letting out a sigh, managing all that had happened to him just now, before speaking up. "And how long have you been standing there, sneak peaking at people?" He turned to the nearest column, seeing Arcturus walk out from behind it, holding a wand in his hand.

"I prefer to use the term "providing necessary privacy" instead. After all, you two weren't all that discrete and you did just punch Dumbledore's number one pet in the face and in his gut, before leaving like a boss." Arcturus commented with a small smirk, dispelling the barrier. "I had hoped that you would spice up the evening, but I certainly didn't expect you and young Amelia Bones get so unceremoniously close and personal, although when looking at her and remembering what is past those furs, even in that dress of hers… A natural red haired beauty with eyes of ember and a figure that had earned her scorn of women and lust of men of all ages, and she is ridiculously progressive, when compared to the rest of that backwater bog. You really have a devil's luck."

"Given who I am now, that might not be exactly too far off." Harry let out a sigh as Arcturus moved to him and they took a stroll across the bridge, with Arcturus not showing least amount of surprise at Harry's statement. "I'm guessing grandmother told you about what happened in Transia?"

"Despite the fact that we are once again talking to each other, she chose to not reveal it to me, at first. I noticed that it was bothering her and deduced that it was something connected to you, and she told me of what had happened." Arcturus admitted to him. "Facing off against Gellert Grindelwald is one thing, but against a universally forgotten Elder God of Chaos and taking part of his power for your own… I spent two days in my library, just to find out who it was, and I still didn't find a thing on Chthon, so I asked Morgana about him."

"From the look on your face, I'm guessing you weren't expecting what she told you." Arcturus nodded to that one. "I'm fine, for the most part, really. It's just… Some feelings and emotions, they are a little out of balance for me, and I've been working on even back on Avalon. Now I only need to sleep twice a year, so that is something…"

"Yeah, and now you practically reek of magical energy so pure that not even Hogwarts has it." Arcturus reminded him. "Good work on hiding it, but I've spent my life studying these phenomena, even earned the Order of Merlin for it. Therefore, as once a foremost expert on these things, I can say that you have transcended humanity, in biological and magical way, as well as mental one. Not that it is much of big deal. After all, no self-respecting True Source ever stays a complete human."

"Yeah well, that doesn't mean that I'm about to change my attitude and all that." Hadrian said to him. "I'm just… God this was not what I had planned for Christmas."

"I have guessed so, but now you have to play the cards you were dealt, and those are pretty good cards if you ask me." Arcturus commented. "Amelia is a fine young woman, smart, beautiful, not afraid to take action, but not one to push for anything. If it were up to me when I was your age, I would've done something far worse than you just did."

"So you were a pervert at 10 already? That explains part of your charm." Harry joked, with Arcturus chuckling to it.

"Right, I forget that little detail all the time. I meant that when I was a young man, I would have taken full advantage of her and did far more than just get a few kisses and a potential for future romance. And you know the worst part? Nobody would've minded, nor would they now, if you were to take her to bed and claim her as your wife." Arcturus said as a matter of a fact. "If one were to even go back and take a look at the laws related to True Sources, you'd find quite a few interesting ones. For example, you are not only allowed, but are encouraged to take multiple wives, to produce powerful and strong lineages…"

"That is not something that I want to hear about." Harry stopped him, as he let out a sigh. "Dorea told you about where I was all those five years, and you know what has happened to me."

"Yes, I know." Arcturus simply confirmed it. "That is not something that one can go through with it leaving the scars on the soul, and now… Now you are afraid that someone you care for might find out and shun you for it."

"Or worse, get hurt because of them." Hadrian admitted his fear. "And yet Amelia… I could sense her determination and desire, and her sincerity, and that kiss… I don't want to hurt her, and yet I don't even know why I didn't just alter her memory and just let it all go."

"Because you are too good of a man to do that, and far better than most back there in Hogwarts, and that is why I think you should give this a chance, Harry." Arcturus stopped and turned to him. "You have been through a great deal, more than most can handle and despite all that you have done, you've more than earned right to be happy. And if Amelia makes you happy, if you hear your heart wanting to be with her, then stop for a moment listening to your mind and listen to your heart. Just go along this road and see where it leads you, and even if it leads to a dead end or worse, but even if it doesn't lead to anywhere conclusive and just gives you a few moments of true happiness, then it was worth going down that road. Do not rush it or push it, just… Try to learn more about each other, be yourself and let her see not the tragedies that made you, but the person forged by all those tragedies, at least at first." Arcturus recommended his grandson, and Hadrian listened to him.

"Was this the same for you and your wife?" He asked of her, and he shook his head.

"No, we never got to be with who we wanted to be, all was decided for us. You… You have far more than I do, Harry, so use this opportunity." Arcturus told him. "Don't think about families, politics, heritage, legacies and all that pointless crap and don't get it involved. Let it be simple, you and her, just that." Harry thought about for a few moments, before making his decision.

"I'll do it, and thank you, grandfather." Harry thanked him, with Arcturus happy to help, as they have reached the end of the bridge, with Harry looking at his watch. "They are about to start the dinner."

"Well, then I shan't keep you any longer than I should." Arcturus told him, as he turned around and prepared to walk towards the castle.

"Why not come with me?" Harry asked of him, making Arcturus turn with surprise on his face. "It's a family dinner, a small celebration. Nothing fancy and all that, but still…"

"No, no, I have nothing against such things. Believe me, I'd much rather have something you've described, but… After all the mistakes I've made and so little to fix those mistakes, I don't think I quite deserve it." Arcturus stated.

"Sounds quite like someone I know." Harry admitted with Arcturus unwillingly agreeing with him. "We all make mistakes, gramps, but this isn't about making up for them. It's about being with one's family, and you are family, along with grandma." Arcturus looked in his grandson's eyes with some tears in his own, before he wiped them away.

"You should start calling her mother, since in all honesty, she is one to you, even if she didn't pop you out. Plus the papers say she is, so best not make it confusing." Arcturus noted with a smile, with Harry agreeing with him. "So, shall we take my way, or yours?" He asked of Hadrian, with Harry quickly casting a portal, with both of them stepping in, leaving Hogwarts for good.

Dorea Black's mansion. A few minutes later.

"Alright, alright, everyone let's get seated. The food and drinks are served and everyone is dressed for the occasion." Dorea got the attention of everyone, and they began to get seated.

"I was hoping that Harry would make it back by now." Stheno noted with a saddened tone, with Euryale agreeing with her. "What kind of a jerk pulls a person on a job in Christmas?"

"The worst kind, the one who doesn't give a damn about people." Gorgon said, as she was in agreement with them and others. "Although I know that Coulson wouldn't have taken him if he had the choice. I just can't understand why ICW wanted Harry specifically."

"I think it's pretty obvious that it has something to do with Potters and Dumbledore." Eva noted, with others agreeing with them. "Still… I was looking forward to this one, as did he."

"Girls, I know that and like all of you, I am sad and angry for what they did, but Harry wouldn't want us to be sorrowful because of this. You know what? We'll just celebrate the New Year even heartier then Christmas." Dorea told them, before she and everyone else heard a doorbell go off. "That odd, are we expecting anyone else?"

"Maybe it's Harry? Got tired and came back?" Clarice suggested, with all of them hoping it be so, and they went to open the door, finding Harry and Arcturus standing in there.

"Hey there, room for two more?" Harry asked with a smile, entering inside with the smiles of others.

"Harry, what are you… Wait, did you disobey the order from Fury and left?" Dorea asked of him with surprise. "And… Father, what are you doing here?" She was surprised to him with Harry.

"Oh the whole thing was as pretentious and boring as they get, plus the drinks were just awful, so I up and left… But not before Harry made the whole thing worth it just for the fact of him seeing laying down the law on those shmucks!" Arcturus laughed, with Dorea looking at her de-facto son with a confused look.

"I'll explain later, and don't worry, all I did was well deserved by them." Harry told them. "And as for grandpa, he helped me understand something important, and he is family, so I… I invited him, because this is where he belongs, wouldn't you say, mom?" Harry asked of Dorea, surprising her with how he called her.

"I do not wish to impose, so, if you do not want me, I shall…" Arcturus was prepared to leave, but Dorea did not allow him, and just shut the door before he did.

"And who said you that you are imposing in any way? I mean you look about as imposing as troll looks intelligent." Dorea joked, with Arcturus laughing with her. "Come, you two, the dinner's getting cold and I'm not going to let it go to waste."

"Now that would be a crime against humanity! Lead us to the table, I want to taste some actual food, not that garbage they call cuisine back at Hogwarts!" Arcturus and everyone laughed, as they went on to celebrate Christmas together as one big family.

Over eleven hours of work in one day… It has been a long time since I pulled one of those stunts, but I just fell into it and just did it. Hope you enjoy the chapter and this time I'll keep it brief.

I did not honestly plan out Amelia, she just… She just came into it all and I decided to let it become a thing. As you can see, neither of them are particularly good at it all, because they don't have experience, and while there is clear passion between Amelia and Harry, they want more than it, at least try to have, so yeah, it will be at least an attempt at proper relationship. However, as I've stated in the last chapter, I was thinking about making it a harem, and I came to a decision to make it so, but a relatively small one, not an overly big one, just enough to not make it too much.

So give me your opinions on who should be included, and I am not saying that anyone is already in it, because they aren't, so I am open to your suggestions. And as always, leave a comment, review, suggestion or question, I will make sure to read and respond as soon as I can.

Oh, and one more thing, I decided to actually make one more filler chapter, since I've finished this one up quickly, before moving to the arc.

Next time: Bust Hydra's plans with Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye; Master and Apprentice reunited; Super Soldier Serums and Super Failures…
