"It's been four days." Derpy said.
Derpy and Jeela were at the beach, sitting on the sand.
Jeela looked at the grey mare."You know, that's not that long. They said it could take up to 2 weeks to find a current. I mean, Applejack knew what she was doing. I doubt anything would have happened to them."
Derpy hoped Jeela was right.
In the bunker, Applejack, Whooves, and Valance were on one side of the room while the others were on the other side.
"Ah think they're trying to figure out what to do with us." Applejack said to the brown earth pony and the injured cyborg.
Finally, the woman named Olee Starstone looked at them and went over to them."All of you, get up. We're moving out."
"Movin' out where?" Applejack asked her.
Starstone ignored her question."You're going to help us get food and water."
"We work for you now?" Asked Valance.
"You're going to do it because we have a long walk ahead of us."
"A long walk where?"
"Back to where you came from."
Later, they slowly opened the door to the bunker, the clone coming out first, aiming his gun at the jungle.
"All clear." Said the Clone Commando once he was done checking the area.
"Hey, Applejack." Valance whispered to the orange pony."I think we should stage a prison break here."
"Yeah, well ah want to figure out what the heck's going on over here before ah make any decisions about anything." Applejack said to him.
Once they were all out of the bunker, Starstone looked at them.
"Okay, listen up. We need to gather as much food and water as we can. You travel in pairs. You move as fast as you can. Don't make any noise." She told them all.
"Maybe you could just take a minute to explain to us what the heck is going on over here that's got you all so on edge." Said Applejack.
"In time, you will know." Said Count Dooku."But right now, we need to get food and water."
"Well, about these soda's?" Asked Applejack, looking at one of the Quick Revive soda bottles that were outside.."Sure, soda ain't healthy as water but It should last us the trip to the other side."
Applejack took a sip from the bottle. She gagged almost immediately when she tasted it.
"Yeah, that stuff tastes like shit." Said the man with a hat and scars on his face. He had said it in an accent similar to Applejack's.
"I'll go scout before we move." Said the Clone Commando.
Starstone nodded and looked back at them."Flim, go with him. Suri, John, see what fruit you can gather. Take her with you." She pointed at Applejack.
"Mah name's Applejack." She said.
"Fine, Applejack." Starstone said.
Applejack, reluctantly, was about to go with Suri Polomare when Valance stopped her."Wait." He said.
"Ah'll be okay." She said to him.
"Lofty, Jack, Dooku, and I will gather the fish."
"I can help." Whooves offered.
"Fine. You can come with us."
Starstone, Lofty, Jack, were trying to get some fish in the water near the beach.
Whooves and Dooku were just looking at the water.
"Hey, ya' wanna help us?" Jack said to the two. He went back to trying to catch some fish.
"What's his name?" Whooves asked Dooku.
"Jack Vincent. He says he is from a place called Morg city but I have never heard of it."
After a minute, Whooves threw his net in the water, catching some fish.
"Impressive." Said Dooku."But this will also work."
Dooku lifted his right hand. Suddenly, all the fish from the water were floating in the air.
"Shit...I forget you can do that." Jack said, surprised.
Starstone just looked away.
Applejack, Suri Polomare, and the man named John, were in the jungle, looking for some fruits.
John looked at Applejack."Hey, ah'm sorry." He said to her.
Applejack looked at him."Sorry about what?"
"Ah know that they threw you and your friends into the pit." He said."I still can't believe they're talkin' horses...Mah name's John Marston."
"Well, It's a pleasure to meet you, John Marston." Applejack managed to smile. She then thought about what he said."Friends."
"What?" John said.
"Ah never thought Valance as mah friend."
"What's wrong with his face?" John asked her.
"Ah don't know. I think he's some robot or something."
"Well, he certainly doesn't seem scared."
"Is that why you threw us in the pit? Because you're scared?"
"Well, we've got trust issues."
Applejack looked at the trees but didn't see any fruit."Where the heck are all the fruit?"
"We picked these trees pretty clean. Sometimes you can find them on the ground." John said.
"Why don't you head inland? That's where all the fruit is on our side."
"We don't go that way." John said to her.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because that's where they come from."
Valance watched Olee Starstone, Lofty, Jack, Dooku, and Whooves sort through the fish. He was sitting against a tree, feeling nothing but pain.
He then saw the Clone Commando stick a metal knife into the tree. He also saw the pony named Flim return.
"That's for you."
"Thanks." He said."What's your name?"
"Sev."
"Why do they call you that?"
Suri Polomare and the man named John then ran over to them."It's Applejack." Said Suri."She just left."
"What?" Said Starstone, surprised.
"She just said something and she went into the jungle. She's gone."
Starstone shook her head."We have to go. We're leaving now."
"What do you mean, "we're leaving"?" Valance asked her.
"Your pony pal ran off into the jungle." Starstone said to her.
"Wait..." Said Whooves, realizing something."She's trying to find Applebloom."
"Who?" Asked John.
"Applebloom is Applejack's sister. When we were on our raft, some people took her from us. She must be trying to find her sister."
"Forget it. We're moving out." Starstone looked at Suri."Flim, water. Suri, can you carry the radio?"
"Wait, you have a radio?" Said Valance, surprised."Does it work? Can you use it?"
She ignored his question."Are you going to slow us down?"
"We can't leave without Applejack!" Said Whooves.
"We're leaving before she can tell them where we are." Starstone said to him.
Whooves looked at Valance, hoping he would help him.
For a moment, Valance thought of Han Solo. Of how Han had gone back for him when his TIE Fighter crashed.
But things were different now. Valance was different.
"Applejack's on her own." He said to her.
Whooves looked at him for a second before he was
"Wait," Said Sev."I'll help you find your friend." Sev grabbed his DC-17 blaster.
"I will go as well." Said Dooku.
Valance couldn't believe what he was seeing. The leader of the Separatists going with a Clone Commando to find a pony.
Starstone looked at them."What are you two doing?"
"We are going to help him find his friend." Dooku said to her.
"We can't wait for you." Starstone said to him.
"We don't expect you to." Said Sev before they left, going into the jungle.
They walked through the jungle, yelling for Applejack.
As they walked, Whooves heard something. He saw a bush moving. A boar then came out of the bush, attacking him.
It pushed Whooves over, knocking him down a hill. He rolled down the hill but stopped. Whooves quickly got up as he heard Dooku and Sev running over to him.
Whooves then saw the dead body next to him. The corpse had a stake sticking out of his chest.
The brown earth pony was horrified at what he was looking at.
"His name was Goodwin." Said Dooku when he made it there.
"Was...was he an Other?" Whooves asked.
Dooku nodded.
Sev checked Whooves to see if he had any wounds."Will you be okay?"
Whooves nodded and looked at the body again."Did you do that to him?"
"No." Said Sev.
Whooves wished he wasn't here on this Island. He wished he was back home in Equestria with Derpy.
They continued walking. Whooves started going left.
"No, not that way." Sev said to him."Over here."
Doctor Whooves saw that he was looking at a hoofprint on the ground.
"This must be your friend's." Sev noted."This is fresh. That, and the Others don't leave tracks."
Whooves, Dooku, and Sev kept walking. Whooves looked at Sev and wonder what he looked like under his helmet.
Sev suddenly stopped and looked around. Dooku also looked around.
"What's wrong?" Asked Whooves.
Dooku shushed him.
"Into the bushes." Sev said. All three hid in the bushes, laying on the ground.
They were able to see some legs move past them. They also saw a teddy bear hanging from a string.
Whooves and Dooku looked at each other.
They waited a few minutes before they finally got up.
"They must have Applejack." Whooves said, going to follow them.
"No, they don't have her. They came from that way." Sev pointed."Your friend went that way." He pointed in the other direction."She crossed ahead of them."
"She is very lucky." Said Dooku.
The three went to find Applejack.
Derpy was sitting by herself at the beach. She noticed Princess Luna walk over to her.
"Hello, Derpy." Luna said to her with a smile.
"Oh, uh, hi, Princess Luna. Why are you here?" Derpy
"I just wanted to how you were doing." Luna said."Is everything okay?"
The grey mare was silent for a moment.
"I don't think everything is okay." Said Derpy."Jeela found the bottle. The one with all the messages. The one from the raft."
Luna looked at her, surprised."Where is it?"
"I buried it." Derpy told her.
Starstone and her group were walking. She noticed Valance sit down.
"Stop." She said to the group. They did. She grabbed a water bottle and handed it to Valance."If you keep slowing us down, we're going to leave you behind." Starstone said to him.
"Well, here's the thing. The people at my camp are probably still jumpy about the Others. You'll need me to explain everything." Said Valance.
"That metal freak has point." Said Jack.
Starstone looked at Valance.
"So...are you two from the same dimension?" Whooves asked as they walked through the jungle.
Dooku and Sev looked at him before they looked at each other.
"We are. But were on...different sides." Said Dooku.
Suddenly, they saw Applejack looking around. The orange mare turned around to look at them."What are you doing here?" She said, surprised to see them."Go back!"
"We can't leave without you!" Said Whooves.
"Go back!" Applejack said before she ran away. Whooves, Dooku, and Sev followed her.
"Applebloom!" The element of honesty yelled."Applebloom!"
"Applejack!" Whooves yelled for her.
She looked at him."Go away! Ah'm not going back without her. Applebloom! Where are you?!"
"Applejack, stop yelling." Whooves said to her.
"Are ya' worried they're going to hear me? Let them take me! Come! Come take me!" Applejack yelled louder.
"Shouting is not a good idea." Dooku said."You need to come back with us now."
"Ah'm not leavin' her out here!" The three were getting close to her."Stay away from me."
"I know they took your sister. But you have no idea what these people are capable of. And they will not be found if they don't want to be." Dooku told her.
"They took her from me! Ah'm not going back without him!"
"You will find Applebloom, Applejack." Whooves assured her."But you need to come with us."
Applejack stood there for a moment. She sighed.
She went with them.
Derpy showed Luna the bottle of messages that she had buried in the sand.
Luna looked at the ocean, hoping Valance was okay.
