"Aaaah…" Junior sighed as he was sitting on Weiss's lap while she was holding him. "Ya know… for an ice queen, you give off the warmest hugs…" He smiled.
"That's because we managed to thaw that frozen heart." Yang grinned as Weiss gave her a playful glare. "Welcome~!"
"Here you go." Rosalina handed Junior a cup of hot chocolate.
"Thank you." Junior smiled, drinking the hot chocolate. "Aaah, that hits the spot…" He said, while nearby, Roy was looking at the white board with Junior's name crossed out.
"Kidnappin' the Koopa Troop?" Roy asked.
"Pretty much." Nora smiled.
"Heh, well, ain't that a kick in the head. We kidnapped Peach so much, we never thought you would've kidnapped us in a million years."
"What goes around comes around!"
"Heheheh… indeed." Roy nodded. "By the way… since when did blondie have an emo twin?"
"That would be her mother."
"That's Raven? Huh!" Roy looked to Yang who was cracking jokes to Junior, where he'd be giggling at his puns. "Well!" He pounded his fists. "Looks like I have some work to do. I've worked on my abandonment issues with my mother, now to work on her!"
"If it helps, Nyx knocked some sense into her."
"Ah, what's another smack to the noggin?"
"Mistress Viridi, your tea." Arlon said.
"Thanks." Viridi smiled as she happily drank it.
"I'm surprised you two didn't come over when Viridi was hit with Phazon." Palutena said.
"Well, we tried to come over sooner but… we got caught up with something." Phosphora said. "Majorly important stuff. Business stuff!"
"Phosphora saw a lightning storm and wanted to join in on the "fun", as she so eloquently put it." Phosphora blushed a deep red while sweatdropping, glaring at Arlon.
"Dude!"
"I wonder what happened to that baby Piranha Plant?" Palutena wondered.
"Oh, I sent him to my temple. Dino Piranha and his fiery brother are keeping an eye on him." Viridi giggled.
"You sure you're okay?" Makoto asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine… just a bit woozy but I'll hang in there." Haru smiled. "The weird thing is… I had a vase full of flowers when I came to. It even had this card." She said as Futaba started to read it.
"Get well soon, Haru. These flowers are for you. Anonymous." Futaba read. "Ooooh, someone's got an admirer~!" She said, playfully elbowing her.
"I'm not sure who gave me these flowers, but I do appreciate it." Haru giggled.
Samus approached Polari. "So, what kind of Galaxies are we going for this time?"
"Let's see here… there are two available right now. Freezy Flake and Haunty Halls."
"Freezy Flake, you say?" Ghor approached them. "That is where Rundas is currently stationed at."
Samus's eyes widened. "Rundas is there?"
"Indeed." Ghor nodded. "Just because we were under with Phazon doesn't mean we weren't aware of our surroundings. You, of all people, should know that."
"Right." Samus nodded and then clenched her fists. "Let's go get him." She said as they went toward her ship.
"Where we headed?" Blake asked.
"Freezy Flake. We're going to rescue a friend."
"Then let's go." Rosalina smiled.
"Hey, I'm going with ya!" Sun approached them.
"You sure you're okay?" Blake asked.
"Yeah, I've been itching to kick some butt!" Sun smirked. "Where we headed?"
"Freezy Flake."
"…I'll be right back. I need to grab a coat." He said and took off running.
Samus shook her head. "Those two really are related, aren't they?"
"Pretty much." Blake chuckled and then they took off once Sun came back, along with some friends.

The ship landed on the Snow Doll Koopa Planet as everyone walked out, but when Samus was the last one out, she immediately started shivering despite wearing her Power Suit. "Brrr!" Samus suddenly blurted out. "What gives?!"
"Huh? It's not that cold out here." Reimu said, glancing over to Sun who was decked out with a scarf over his mouth, a beanie, a heavy coat and snow boots. Even his tail was covered. "…Well, to most of us, at least."
"Hey! You weren't raised in a desert!" Sun shot back, while Newt just had a snow hat on and was happily playing in the snow with Pichu.
"Not sure what you're talking about. We got our very own heater!" Nora smiled, standing next to Pyrrha.
"Aaaand you're okay with that?" Sun asked.
"Oh, I don't mind." Pyrrha smiled.
"…Are you sure you're okay?" Rosalina asked in concern.
"Um, you guys go ahead… I'm gonna be a bit." Samus said and ran into her ship, dragging Adam with her.
"Whoa!" Adam yelped as the hatch shut while everyone else looked at each other before shrugging and walking down the path.
"I don't get it!" Samus said. "The cold usually never bothers me… hell, I can take walks in the snow with just a bikini and I'm perfectly fine… but now…? Now I'm cold? I've been through a lot of planets that had frozen temperatures and it never bothered me… HELL! Even the Bottle Ship had a frozen area!"
"Hmm…" Adam folded his arms. "I do have a theory."
"Enlighten me."
"Well… we all know Metroids react poorly to the cold and you still have your Metroid DNA, correct?"
"Last I checked, yes. I still have that in my system. ROB even analyzed me after our BSL mission was over and confirmed that, despite me absorbing the SA-X, I'm still a Metroid." Samus said as Adam decided to hook her up to the ship for analysis. "Which, honestly, doesn't surprise me. I mean, I'm part Chozo so being part Metroid doesn't faze me in the slightest. The weird thing was that the cold atmosphere in Remnant didn't bother me at all when we came back… I could still take walks outside, enjoy the brisk air… but… now I'm reacting to it?"

"Let's see here…" Adam looked into it. "Okay, so based on this… your Chozo and Metroid DNA are at both 49%, with your human genes being 2%. You were technically 50/50 with your human and Chozo genes but throwing in the Metroid DNA into the mix, it threw your DNA out of whack. And yet, you didn't turn into a Human-Metroid hybrid."
"No, I'm a unique human/Chozo/Metroid breed." Samus sarcastically said. "Ugh, if only Shou Tucker were still alive… just so I could throttle him for messing me up."
"Ah, but you still have your humanity, so there's that." Adam said. "Hmm…" He did some more tests. "Aha… it says here your Thoha genes is keeping your Metroid DNA in check, but there's a possibility that your Metroid DNA is very slowly overtaking it… hence why you're reacting to the cold as of now."
"I need my Varia suit then."
"Somehow… I've a feeling the Varia won't be enough. I think you need your Gravity Suit just to keep yourself warm."
"Oh, wonderful."
"However, all is not lost." Adam said as he typed something in and hooked it up to Samus.
"What are you doing?"
"The Federation planned on giving this to you but never got around to it… probably because you kept going off on missions and left before they could give it to you properly. This was encoded into your old gunship and was salvaged into the new one."
Interior Thermal Heater online!
"…Huh?" Samus blinked. "I always had this? How come they never told me?"
"I'm not the one who goes out after getting a job and not asking for any upgrades, Lady." He folded his robotic arms, giving her a smug look with his robot eyes.
"…Fair point."
"Now, this should keep you nice and toasty without your Metroid DNA screaming at you." Adam said. "Any objections, Lady?"
Samus responded with a thumbs down, both of them chuckling as they walked outside as Samus would feel a lot warmer. "Aaah, toasty!" She said as they went down, noticing Newt dropping a snowball on Pichu.
"How in the world can an Alpha Metroid be so calm in the snow?" Adam wondered.
"Well, he got used to it." Samus smiled. "Plus, ice doesn't really seem to bother him as much compared to when he was still a Larval."
"Good point." Adam nodded as they saw Reimu coming out of a Warp Pipe.
"That Rundas guy wasn't there, but I did snag this." She said, pulling out a Power Star. "That weird monkey wanted me to ice skate into some weird balloons… so I just destroyed them with my danmaku. Wasn't that hard, honestly." She shrugged.
"I see… where's JNPR?" Samus asked.
"Found a bunch of Star Chips and headed off somewhere." Blake responded. "We were just waiting on you."
Samus chuckled. "Oh good… I mean, I would've caught up to you eventually but thanks."
"Anytime, Samus." Ghor nodded as they walked ahead toward the slope where they would hop up and slide down where they would come out and landed on the Snow Block Tico Search Planet.
"That's new… snowy Brick Blocks." Blake said.
"Wonder if you could get a few coins out of them?" Rosalina smiled, then noticed a Phazon-infused Beowolf wandering around. "…Or better yet, grab one of them and crush them underneath it like the abominations that they are…" She said in a low voice, scowling at the sight of the phazon.
"Pika…" Pikachu's ears lowered.
Where'd that come from? Blake thought.
"Uh… Rosie, you okay?" Sun asked.
Rosalina telekinetically lifted up a snow block. "Just…" She then crushed the Beowolf by dropping it on him. "Peachy."
"Mmm, normally I'm the one that's brutal…" Samus said, putting a hand on Rosalina's shoulder. "Take a deep breath, Rosie… we'll find a way to destroy this Phazon once and for all."
"I hope so…" Rosalina nodded as they would all destroy the snow blocks and uncovered a Warp Pipe as they all went inside, popping out at the Lava Snowball Convey Planet.
"Snow right next to lava… and yet, it's not melting?" Reimu tilted her head. "Odd…"
"Strange…" Adam mused.
"Boop." ROB agreed as they took a few steps before suddenly the lava froze over, turning into an ice rink. A few Lil Cinders looked around in confusion.

BGM: Tension (Super Metroid)
"I don't like the looks of this." Blake said.
"Neither do I." Samus said. "Pichu, Newt, stay close to me, okay?"
"Chu!" Pichu nodded while Newt let out a few chirps.
"That statue seems to be moving." Ghor said as they would see a snow Bowser statue moving towards them as it had a mind of its own… only for Blake, Samus, Rosalina and Ghor, who had hopped into his newly restored mech, melted the snow statue.
In its place… was none other than Rundas.
"Rundas…" Samus could only say, flashing back to her fight with him and his death. She clenched her fists. "This time, it's going to be different."
"You are welcome to try… but Dark Samus's vision will soon be realized." Rundas said. "Those who are against us will show their fragility… and they will fall!"
"No… we're not going to let that happen." Blake said.
"Rundas, if we have to knock some sense into you, then so be it." Ghor said.
Rundas chuckled. "Tell me something, Samus… are you the good guy in this scenario or are you and your friends the villains?"
"Hey, relax! We're the good guys. Justice will prevail and all that stuff… right, Samus?" Rundas's words echoed into Samus's head. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, before opening them with sheer determination.
"Justice will prevail." Samus said as everyone got ready to fight him.

BGM: Rundas Battle (Metroid Prime 3: Corruption)
Cryogenic Bounty Hunter - Rundas
Rundas immediately use his cryokinesis to start skating his way in the air, firing ice missiles and icicles at the group, forcing them to dodge while Reimu flew up in the air and flew at Rundas, throwing Yin Yang Orbs at him where he would quickly freeze them up as they would fall to the ground, and then Reimu would flip over and kicked him in the head to make him fall to the ground but he recovered and swiftly dodged a Thunderbolt from Pikachu and a Thundershock from Pichu.
Samus unleashed a barrage of Fire Missiles where Rundas would attempt to bat them away, but the explosions were enough to send him flying back where Rosalina leapt through the air and unleashed a stream of cosmic fire that was burning a little brighter than normal, something that Blake had noticed.
Did that fire glow a bit brighter? Blake wondered as Rundas put his foot on the ground where icicles rose up, nearly impaling Rosalina hadn't she teleported out of the way as Sun ran over and whacked Rundas with his weapon but Rundas would backhand him and try to freeze him, but he rolled out of the way. In turn, he would call out his Infernape.
"Flame Wheel, let's go!" He yelled as Leo unleashed Flame Wheel on him, where Rundas avoided it and would freeze the Infernape on the spot, only to get plastered with a charged up Dust Beam and shot a Fire Blast and together with Ghor's Plasma Beam and Adam's Plasma Cannon, Rundas was knocked back and then Blake would shoot a few Fire bullets.
"Boop bop…?" ROB wondered after firing a laser.
"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! Too much fire, he's an ice user… poor guy." Adam said.
"The thing is, his phazon-infused ice should give him an upper hand." Ghor said. "…The problem is…" He turned to see Rosalina burning through the phazon-infused ice walls with red hot cosmic fire. "I think the more phazon is used, the angrier she's getting… and the hotter her flames burn."
"Well, I can't say I blame her!" Reimu said, throwing Fantasy Orbs at him.
"Neither can I. Someone needs to calm Rosie down… because I'm not sure why, but I have a feeling it's not going to be pretty if she blows her top!" Samus said, immediately running toward Rundas, activating her speed booster as Rundas threw down an ice wall. Samus would immediately shine spark her way through the ice and slammed into Rundas right as he was about to ice skate his way around.
Ghor immediately jumped over to Rosalina, picking her up bridal style. "Wha- hey!"
"Rock a bye cosmic baby on the galactic tree top~ When the star goes supernova, the cradle will disintegrate~"
"That's not how it goes!" Adam exclaimed while facepalming, while ROB would use Arm Rotor to reflect the ice missiles back at Rundas, then he would throw down a few icicle stalagmites to block Sun and Blake, the latter firing a Wave/Plasma Beam combo and struck Rundas, knocking him back and made him slide across the ice. Rundas got back up and threw ice waves at the group, but found himself surrounded by amulets right after Newt spat out a small lightning bolt.
"FANTASY SEAL!" Reimu yelled, as the Fantasy Seal exploded on Rundas, causing him to fall to the ground in defeat.

Samus immediately rushed over to Rundas while Leo broke free of his icy prison. "In… infuh… fuh-choo!"
"Easy big guy…" Sun said, wrapping his arm around him, watching Samus snag the Power Star and absorbed the power up.
Ice Missiles back online!
"Palutena, get us the HELL out of here before Dark Samus tries anything!" Samus exclaimed as heavenly lights shined down on them before lifting them away from the Observatory.
Freezy Flake Galaxy Power Star #2 - Sorbetti's Chilly Reception - JNPR
BGM: Escape Through the Snow (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX)
"Aaaah!" Jaune yelped as they had landed at the White Out Planet. "It's a white out!"
"Okay, someone hold on to Pyrrha so we can find a way to get through this!" Nora said.
"Why me?"
"Because you have the Fire Brand and you're practically a heater! Not to mention our only light source in this blizzard!" Nora pointed out.
"Fair point!" Pyrrha nodded, taking Jaune's hand who took Nora's who in turn grabbed Ren's. "It should be this way!" She said as they trudged through the blizzard, trying to find their way through and hoping they don't fall off the edge and fall into a black hole.
"Do you see anything?" Ren asked.
"Aside from snow, no!" Pyrrha responded.
Nora started sniffling. "We better get somewhere warm fast! My nose is running!" She complained as they continued on, where they would barely see a frozen Goomba covered in ice. As they continued, Pyrrha slid down a slope.
"Wah!" She yelped as her entire team went with her.
"Ooooh, this is gonna suck!" Jaune winced, but a Launch Star would catch them and send them flying to the Yukkina Body Planet.

"We didn't slide to our deaths?" Nora asked, having her eyes closed.
"Nope, but we are on some bumpy planet." Ren responded where Nora opened her eyes.
"Hooray! We didn't get spaghettified!" Nora cheered as they walked around the planet.
"I'm getting a bad feeling, are you?".Jaune whispered.
"Yeah, something about this planet is rubbing me the wrong way..." Pyrrha agreed as they found a Sling Star and launched over to a neighboring planet.
However, as they did, the planet they were just on shook before falling on the planet below, revealing crystal eyes, a mouth and a large red nose.
BGM: A-wa-wa-wa-wa! (Super Mario Galaxy 2)
Heads Will Roll - Sorbetti
"...Ren." Nora spoke up.
"Yeah?"
"Care to be my right hand?" Nora asked, taking out Magnhild.
"Sure." Ren nodded, grabbing a hold of it with his right while Nora used her left hand as both of them charged at Sorbetti, the latter activating her Thunder Hand and whacked Sorbetti on the nose hard enough to shatter the giant snowball.
*Record scratch*
"Boop!" Nora smiled, taking the Power Star.
"Well, that was easy." Jaune said as Pyrrha rubbed the back of her head.
"Thanks, babe!" Nora smiled, kissing Ren on the cheek.
"You're welcome." Ren smiled back as the group was sent back to the Observatory.
Back at the Observatory...
BGM: Rosalina at the Observatory 3 (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Let's see..." Summer was writing down on a notepad. "Who could he be dating... Glynda? No, she's too old. Esdeath? Hmm, it's a possibility, not to mention she's gorgeous but I don't see it working out. That Pauline chick in New Donk City...? Nah... Daisy? No no no, I doubt Luigi would be interested in a harem..."
"Oh!" Summer pounded her fist into her palm. "Rosie! ...Nah, she's more ancient than Glynda. I mean, no offense to the most gorgeous woman of the cosmos..."
Kokoro, meanwhile, sat down on a couch, happily petting Yukina while watching Blake looking a lot happier while chatting with Weiss and Junior. "We did good, Yukina." Kokoro smiled, unaware of a certain metalhead about to vault over the couch, which she did two seconds later.
"Hiya!" Ibuki greeted.
"Ack!" Kokoro yelped in surprise.
"Ibuki's heard a lot about you, and she has to say, you're a lot cuter up close!"
"Um... th-tha-thank you..."
"So! As a fellow musician herself, what drives ya to make songs aside from your family?"
Is... is this what they mean by "It's Ibuki, don't question it"? Kokoro thought while blushing. "Um... uh..."
"Come on, don't be shy. She doesn't bite! Believe her, Mikan-chan had Ibuki tested."
Mikan walked by. "It was the weirdest test I've ever done..."
Hiyoko walked by, holding an armful of Green Stars she got from Sky Station and Yoshi Star Galaxy thanks to the Metal Cap. "Not as weird as when Akane shoved that meatball sub down her throat in one go the other day.. Seriously, it was a foot long, for pete's sake!"
Not to mention she did that in ten seconds flat... Ibuki thought. "So! What drives you? What motivates ya to keep doing songs?"
Kokoro kept blushing, sweating up a storm. "Uuum..."
Oh goodness, it's like she's talking to air itself. She thought as five long minutes passed before Ibuki sighed, standing up. "Don't hurt yourself, okay?" She said as she started to walk off.
"It's my passion..." She mumbled quietly, causing Ibuki's ear to twitch.
"Oh oh?" Ibuki turned around and sat down. "It is?"
Kokoro nodded. "It's what... helps me relax. It started as a hobby before it became a passion of mine... I also write songs."
"Oooh, so you write songs for your squad?"
"Yes." Kokoro nodded before sweatdropping. "When my team found out about that... they kinda had dropped the title of "Number one song writer of Sea5ons" on me." She laughed nervously. "I felt that was a bit of a mistake."
"Feel pressured?"
"Yes, and I'm drawing blanks..." Kokoro said with anime tears rolling down her cheeks.
Ibuki grinned. "Then you need some inspiration, Koko-chan! Like the saying goes: "Inspiration comes from anywhere"!"
"That's true... where do you think we should go?"
Ibuki looked at a Launch Star. "Oooh, Ibuki might know a place... she just needs to gather a squad!"

Haunty Halls Galaxy Power Star #1 - A Glimmer of Bulb Berry - Ibuki, Kokoro, Luigi, Yoshi, Gloria, Lysithea, Grif, Youmu

"Why did we have to come here?" Grif asked. "Team JINX and that Umber kid had already come here."
"It's JINXY now." Ibuki told him.
"Heh? Oh right, Dark Xena changed her name..."
"And Ibuki thought it would be a good idea to have Koko-chan wander around the galaxy to see if she can get some inspiration for a new song!"
"By dragging us into this spooky place?!" Grif exclaimed. "I'm not sure if you know this, but ghosts are terrifying!"
"Oh give me a break, Grif." Lysithea walked off. "I'm not afraid of any ghosts. Sure, they may be real now but I'm not afraid of-" An Octoboo popped up. "AAAAAAH!" She screamed, jumping away and landing in Grif's arms. "Gh-gh-ghost!"
"Why am I holding you? I should be held by someone!" Grif said as he heard knees shaking as they turned to see Youmu's knees shaking at the sight of the Octoboo. "Why are you scared? You're half-phantom!"
"It's complicated!" Youmu whimpered.
That doesn't make sense... Gloria thought with Yoshi scratching his head.
"It's not that scary." Luigi admitted.
"It's cute!" Kokoro gushed, happily giving the Octoboo a headrub as it leaned into it with a happy expression.
"Aww!" Ibuki giggled as the Octoboo nuzzled back at the young Faunus. Her heart! She's way too pure and innocent for this world!
"W-WHAT THE HELL, HOW IS THAT OCELOT KID NOT AFRAID OF THAT?!" Grif yelled.
"It's almost like the ghost isn't hostile and just a friendly lad." Gloria said as she casually walked off, giving another Octoboo a headpat.
"YEAH, I CAN SEE THAT!" Grif yelled as they walked after her, though Grif, Lysithea and Youmu swiftly walked around the ghosts with fearful expressions.
Soon, they reached for the Launch Star and launched away to the Disappearing Paths Planet, where they would see the path moving along before disappearing, only to reappear on the other side a few seconds later.
"Nope. I am not doing that." Grif said. "Someone will have to carry me!" He demanded as Youmu flew up and picked up Lysithea, flying over the gap. "Hey! HEEEEY! What about me?!"
"Oh, you have legs." Gloria said, immediately turning into her Duskull form and floated away.
"Oh, right, says the Scot who just turns into a ghost and fly off!" Grif mumbled as Luigi pulled out a Tanooki Leaf and simply flew across after absorbing it, all the while Ibuki brought out her hoverboard and glided across with Kokoro riding with her.
"Yo yo!" Yoshi waved.
"Well, I guess you'll do. Might as well get it over-" Yoshi's tongue hit his chest plate. "-...With? Ooooh shi-" He was gobbled up right after and became an egg, then Yoshi picked him up, aimed him across the gap and threw him, where he harmlessly bounced off a few Octoboos that didn't phase them at all as he landed on the other side, the egg cracking as Grif was sprawled out, groaning.
"That was more humiliating than when Poochy gave me a ride..." He grumbled as Yoshi flutter jumped his way over and landed next to him. "Enjoy it while you can, because your kind will go extinct before you know it!"
"Yo Yo Yoshi."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU MULTIPLY LIKE RABBITS?!" He yelled as Yoshi folded his arms smugly as Grif walked off in annoyance, grumbling.
"Is that true?" Gloria asked.
"Yo Yo Yoshi Yo."
"Oooh, ye clever bastard. That's devious, even for ye! And ye know what? It's beautiful!"
Yoshi smiled. "Yo!"
Never knew he had a mischievous side... Luigi thought.
Once Grif got back up and dusted himself off, they hopped into the Warp Pipe and found themselves in the Hidden Halls Planet, and found four Bulb Berries sitting there, with Yoshi happily gobbling one up while Kokoro, Ibuki and Gloria picked one up and all of them ate them up
While Kokoro simply had a golden aura around her, Gloria and Ibuki changed drastically. Ibuki had her hairstyle changed into twin pigtails with two bulb like lights on the tips, Ibuki was now dressed in a light blue wetsuit with a yellow gemstone on the center of her chest and back that had a faint glow to match the lights on her hair, and sported an underwater scene with various stars dotting around. On her eyes were a pair of yellow-lensed swim goggles.
Gloria, meanwhile, had a red gem pop up on her forehead as her skin turned yellow. Black wristbands appeared on both of her wrists. Her hair turned white and went down to her shoulderblades. A black choker appeared on her neck with a Mega Stone appearing in the middle. Her clothing changed into a wool sweater and a red miniskirt as black leggings appeared on her legs as sandals with flashy lightning stickers appeared as well. A yellow bow replaced her hat as it had black stripes on it.
"AAAMPHAAAA!" Gloria cried.
"Laaaaan!" Ibuki giggled. "Sweet! Lanturn and Ampharos!" She smiled, high fiving Gloria.
"Yo yo!" Yoshi cried in awe, his skin glowing yellow.
"Huh… so how are we gonna make it all appear?" Grif wondered.
"Oh… I might have an idea." Gloria said, grabbing both Kokoro and Ibuki's hands as Ibuki's bulbs glowed, the gem on Gloria's forehead glowed and Kokoro used her semblance to make everything shine brightly… and with the power of the light, a whole mansion appeared in front of them.
"Whooooa!" Luigi and Yoshi exclaimed.
"…Holy shit!" Grif said.
"Okay… that's cool. Still creepy but not as much." Lysithea said with Youmu agreeing as they went through the door.

BGM: Dark Hallways (Luigi's Mansion)
"So uh… are we just gonna acknowledge the music just changed?" Grif whimpered.
"Why? The music changes all the time." Ibuki said as they wandered through the dark mansion, and thanks to the glowing lights, Luigi didn't need to bring out his flashlight as he simply brought out his Poltergust just in case.
"Yeah, but this is… different!"
"Oh, don't worry about it. If the music changes, then it changed. Big deal." Gloria shrugged as they continued to walk around. They climbed up a flight of stairs and walked into a room, coming into contact with a storage room and seeing nothing of value as they continued along in the mansion before coming across a massive library, and saw the Power Star floating there.
"Ah, there it is!" Kokoro beamed as Youmu flew over to grab it, but a point blank magic shot hit Youmu.
"Agh!" Youmu yelped as she was knocked back as Dimentio appeared.
"My my my~ You thought it was going to be easy?"
"Oh for fock's-…" Gloria groaned. "What do you want now?"
"Ahahahahaha… you thought this mansion was simply haunted with just Boos and all that paranormal stuff? I decided to bring some Grimm over from Remnant, dropped them off at Ridley's ship and watched them get stuffed with Phazon. Not only that, but I've also seen some creatures from another world that Dark Samus had visited~"
"So what, you work with them now?" Luigi asked.
"Ahahahaha… an agent of chaos together with an agent of chaos? Sounds like a dream come true… but no, they're more into galactic conquest, I'm just more interested in slowing you guys down for fun."
"Uuugh…" Grif groaned. "I don't know why, but I suddenly feel drowsy…"
"I would say you're being lazy but… I feel sluggish myself…" Lysithea mumbled.
"All of us…?" Kokoro wondered.
"Ladies and gentleman… may I present you what is behind door number one!" Dimentio snapped his fingers, opening up the door as a wave of Phazon-Infused Grimm approached them, but they looked… human-like.

"May I introduce you to the Grimm that makes you completely drowsy… the Apathy! Their screams are a sleeper hit~! Which is why I'm surrounding myself in magic to prevent myself from losing the will to fight! And for door number two, let's have you Zelda fans give a warm introduction tooooo-" He snapped his fingers as zombie-like creatures walked in. "Phazon-infused ReDeads and Gibdos!"
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Grif yelled as he tried to get away but a scream froze him in place. "Meep!"
"This is… insanity!" Luigi gulped.
"And there's another… for you have won the lottery of misfortune! Do I have a 7 for this roulette~?" Dimentio chuckled. "You Zelda fans will be running for the hills becaaaause… please give a warm introduction tooooo-!"

Suddenly hands shot out of the ground to surround them as a monster shot out of the ground beneath them, roaring. The monster in question had pale skin, was hunching over, had a ghastly face and had phazon all over his body.

"THE PHAZON-INFUSED DEAD HAAAAAND!"
Welcome to Hell - Phazon-Infused Apathy, ReDead/Gibdos, Dead Hand
"As for me, I'm gonna be sitting cozily up here with the Power Star while you beg for your lives!"
"Shit, what are we gonna do?!" Grif exclaimed.
"The only thing we can do! Snap out of our funk and protect Koko-chan!" Ibuki said as they got ready to fight but would get a little drowsy with a few Apathy screaming at them. Ibuki and Gloria would immediately use Charge as the ReDeads and the Gibdos stalked slowly toward them as did the Apathy. Dead Hand slowly inched his way over as well.
Kokoro conjured up Flash Grenades thanks to the Bulb Berry and threw it at the ground, which was enough to stun the ReDeads and Gibdos, but one Apathy would scream to drain them. "Nngh!" Gloria grunted as she unleashed Thunder on an Apathy, but to her surprise, it was able to withstand the powerful attack, even after getting hit by Hydro Pump from Ibuki as well.
"They're not cannon fodder?!" Luigi exclaimed, firing a lightning bolt at an Apathy while Yoshi threw a few golden eggs that exploded into light, but none of the Apathy were destroyed by it.
"Alright, that's it!" Lysithea growled as she crossed her arms together. "Get a load of-" A ReDead shrieked, causing her to freeze in place. "Mmmph!" She grunted as one hand grabbed a hold of Youmu as Dead Hand got close to her and opened up his phazon-like mouth to bite down on her, but Myon would intevene and transform, slashig down to make Dead Hand back away as Youmu slashed him away after breaking free as she slashed through a ReDead, decapitating it as it fell to the ground.
"Nnngh…" Gloria fell on one knee, wincing as did Kokoro as the Apathy moved closer. "It's a bit too much…!"
"Come… come on… we got this…!" Ibuki groggily said, unleashing Discharge on them all, which paralyzed a few Apathy but not by much. "Nnnnngh…"
"Someone out there… HEEELP UUUUUS!" Luigi cried as they were crowded by the enemies, Gloria on her stomach and groaning while Grif tried to shoot his way out but soon got himself dogpiled by the ReDead and Gibdos.
"Can't… go on…" Youmu fell on her knees as Ibuki fell on her hands and knees. Dead Hand and the Apathy were now inches away from them.
"Ohohohoho! This spells the end for them!" Dimentio grinned, watching Luigi and Yoshi fall as he gleefully watched them meet their end…

SHATTER!
…If it wasn't for the timely arrival of someone flying through the window. "WHAT THE?!" Dimentio yelled as he would look up into the air to see an Articuno flapping its wings.
A Galarian Articuno to be exact.
BGM: Battle! Elite Four (Pokemon ORAS)
The Articuno used Freezing Glare on the Apathy, freezing them on the spot while Neo jumped off of the Articuno and landed in front of them, quickly firing a point blank shotgun blast at the Dead Hand to make it back up.
Neo let out a whistle, where the Articuno flew over toward the ReDeads and the Gibdos and unleashed Hurricane on them to send them flying, while Neo brought out a Pokeball and three Ultra Balls as she threw them all up into the air, where a Vanilluxe came out and was joined by a Glalie, Beartic and an Abomasnow.
With a whistling command, the Beartic used Superpower on the Dead Hand, then Abomasnow Ice Punched it. The Apathy slowly thawed out as Neo turned to Ibuki who nodded at her and then unleashed Hydro Pump on them as Gloria would add Thunder to it and Luigi used his Thunder Hand to add more power to it. Once they were all wet, Neo whistled as Glalie used Freeze-Dry on them and Vanilla used Ice Beam on them.
["Checkmate."] Neo smirked and once her Articuno destroyed the ReDeads and Gibdos, it proceeded to lay into them all with Sheer Cold. Dead Hand barely avoiding it while the Apathy disintegrated, where Neo would aim her shotgun umbrella and shot it up a few times in the head before it bit into the umbrella as two hands grabbed a hold of Neo as it tried to bite down, but Neo exhaled a frosty breath attack to freeze Dead Hand's head as she broke free and then picked up her umbrella before shooting it in the head to shatter it, leaving nothing remaining.

Thank you, Bookwyrm. Neo thought as she turned toward Dimentio, staring at him before getting flashbacks of meeting him in the paper universe. She rubbed her head before shaking it off and glared at Dimentio.
"So! The mute ice cream girl came for a visit, hmm? That's fine… you can have it!" Dimentio said, tossing them the Power Star before disappearing.
["Everyone alright?"] Neo asked.
"Yeah, we are now." Luigi smiled as Neo smiled back and happily hugged Luigi.
"So, what brings you here, lass?" Gloria asked.
["Those dumb space pirates decided to station me here. I was to fight JINX and Umber, but I didn't feel like it. I just let them do their thing."]
"So you got lazy. Respect." Grif said.
["I wasn't lazy. I just felt like rebelling against those shitheads. I'm tired of them."]
"Oh good~! Because we were going to kidnap you anyway, Neo-chan~!" Ibuki smiled. "Nora-chan's idea."
Neo snickered before letting out a giggle. ["Sounds like her."]
"Glad we could have ya." Lysithea smiled.
"Awesome! We got another one!" Kokoro beamed.
Just outside…
"Hmm…" Dimentio noticed a Prankster Comet flying into orbit. "That seems to be a Cosmic Clone comet… I wonder what would happen if I were to tamper with it~?" He aimed his hands at it and started to magically tamper with the Prankster Comet, while everyone else flew off.
…However, Kokoro didn't fly off.
"Huh?" Kokoro wondered, tilting her head. "Why didn't I fly back…?" She wondered before suddenly her aura shattered. "Nnngh! What…?"
"Ahahahaha! There we go, it's a Daredevil comet now!"
Kokoro looked at her hands curiously before noticing the enemies in front of her started to reform. The Apathy, ReDead, Gibdos and Dead Hand were slowly being revived by the Daredevil Comet. "Mmmph!" She paled as she quickly hightailed it out of there as the enemies turned their heads before chasing after her.
Back at the Observatory…
"What's going on with her?" Raven wondered, seeing Summer going absolutely crazy and having a chalkboard nearby.
"Oh, she's trying to figure out who Tai's dating. It caused her to get a little… wired." Qrow said, folding his arms in amusement. "I know who it is though."
"You do?" Raven asked as Qrow whispered in her ear. "Really!" She said in surprise before snickering. "So… are you gonna tell her?"
"When it stops being funny."
"Maybe it could be Glynda… or maybe it could be that woman in Garreg Mach… what was her name again… Manuela? No! Even she's too old for Tai!"
Raven smirked. "Soooo… never?"
"Bingo."
"Girl, what's got you so agitated?" Daisy asked as she and Peach approached her. "And what's with the chalkboard?"
"I ran out of paper in my notepad!" Summer responded as Peach picked it up and looked through.
"Oh. My. Stars." Peach said in shock as Daisy looked into it.
"Really? You think Tai's dating that Cynthia chick from Sinnoh?" Daisy raised an eyebrow.
"It's a possibility!"
"Sonia Nevermind, Nessa, Olivia from Alola…" Peach sweatdropped. "Goodness, you even have Bea on here." She said as Daisy looked at the chalkboard, tilting her head.
"Why do you have Salem on there with a massive question mark next to it?" Daisy asked.
"IT'S A POSSIBILITY!" She yelled.
Meanwhile, in an alternate universe…
"Ozpin, I got it!" Tai said. "I'm gonna seduce Salem!"
Ozpin snorted. "Good luck with that."
Three weeks later in that universe…
"I've got an announcement to make!" Salem said as she and Tai were at the school grounds. "I've given up my conquest for evil and I'm marrying the love of my life, Taiyang!"
Ozpin spat out his coffee. "HUH?!" He yelled in surprise before fainting on the spot.
Back in the main universe…
"Riiiiiiiiiiiight…" Daisy sweatdropped.
Nearby, Zinnia chuckled. "Ya know… I might as well go out and say he's dating me. It'll definitely throw her for a loop!" She giggled.
"Rrrrr." Rayquaza growled.
"Dude, are you suggesting that Tai Dye is dating a Lopunny?" She asked as Rayquaza gave her a cheeky smirk, to which she smirked back. "Do it! It'll be hilarious!"
"How much longer is the lass gonna keep up before she goes crazy?" Conductor asked.
"Goes crazy? I think she left for looneyville a long time ago!" Hat Kid responded as Ibuki and the others arrived back at the Observatory.
"Hey, where's Kokoron?" Chelsea wondered as she approached them. "Oh, hi Neo!" She cheerfully waved as Neo waved back.
"Wait, wasn't the lass with us?" Gloria wondered.
"I could've sworn she was right next to me…" Youmu said.
"Well, don't look at me!" Grif said.
"Huh! That's peculiar." Polari said as they turned to him as he and Lubba were checking something out. "I've never seen a Prankster Comet do that before."
"Do you think someone tampered with it?" Lubba asked.
"Tampering with a Prankster Comet? That's unheard of! …And yet, doesn't sound completely far off, especially if that jester is concerned…"
"What's going on?" Chelsea asked.
"Apparently a Cosmic Clone Comet drastically changed into a Daredevil Comet in Haunty Halls Galaxy." Lubba said.
"Yeah, and according to Palutena, there were Apathy Grimm, ReDeads, Gibdos and a Dead Hand." Polari added. "So… I guess that Daredevil Comet revived those suckers. Hopefully no one was caught in it, especially with those who have aura. Those comets tend to break aura."
BGM: No Time To Think! (Kingdom Hearts)
Chelsea's heart stopped, fear seen in her eyes as she backed away before clenching her fists, turning toward the Launch Star where she immediately started running. "Dammit, dammit, dammit… SHIT FUCK FUCK SHIT DAMMIT SHIT! DAMMIT OF ALL TIMES, WHY NOW?!" She yelled.
"What the…?!" Mine said in surprise as she walked by. "I've never seen Chelsea act like that before!"
"Come to think of it, I don't think I've heard her curse like that either!" Akame pointed out.
"Hey hey! What about us? We'll come with you!" Grif said.
"No! You guys stay behind just in case if Kokoron ends up coming back here!" She said before launching away from the Launch Star… all the while Ibuki turned to Blake and Cardin approaching them.
"What was with Chelsea getting so worked up?" Cardin asked as Ibuki filled them in, causing both of them to gasp. "Dammit… and Whitley and Ling are busy rehearsing. Let's move!"
"Yeah, Ibuki thinks we should provide back up. Daredevil Comets breaking aura be damned!" She said as Blake and Cardin would hop into the Launch Star and fly off with Ibuki right behind them.
Back at Haunty Halls…
"GET AWAY!" She screamed as she tried to push down a statue but couldn't do it so she threw down a flash grenade to disorient them before opening up a door and hiding behind a closet.
She backed away, her back hitting against a wall as she tried to block the entry way by throwing down whatever available item there was. Boxes, statues, anything to keep them at bay. The Apathy reached the doors and clawed at it with the ReDeads and Gibdos scratching it with them.
"HEY YOU!" A voice cried as needles struck the Grimm as they turned to see Blake, Ibuki, Cardin and Chelsea ready to throw down with them, their auras having shattered the moment they entered the galaxy be damned.
Immediately, Dead Hand rose up and grabbed a hold of Blake from behind. "Nnngh! The hell are you…?!" Blake grunted as Cardin punched Dead Hand in the face to make him let go of Blake.
"Alright! I've just about had enough of this bullshit!"
"Viridi?" Blake wondered as suddenly heavenly lights surrounded the Phazon-infused creatures before massive vines shot out and impaled all of them to destroy them, leaving behind another Power Star.

"Sheesh, I should've done that in the first place…" Viridi mumbled. "You're welcome, by the way!"
Chelsea immediately opened the door. "Kokoron!" She said, seeing her curled up into a ball as she climbed her way over it as did Cardin, Blake and Ibuki
"They're all monsters… all of them…" She whimpered as Chelsea knelt down.
"It's okay! It's okay, Kokoron! It's okay…" She cupped both of her hands on her face. "It's just us. Look… look at me, Kokoron. It's us." She cooed gently. "The scary monsters are gone now."
"Th-they… th-they tried to…" Kokoro wrapped her arms around Chelsea, embracing her as she sobbed into her chest as Chelsea embraced her back.
"Shhhh~ It's okay…"
"Chelsea…" Kokoro sobbed as Cardin knelt down and put his hand on her shoulder, as did Blake while Ibuki simply enacted a group hug as Viridi would send them all back to tbe Observatory with the Power Star.
…However, the front doors of the mansion opened up as JINXY and Umber walked in, although Yagami had taken over.
"See? It's empty!" Iris said.
"No, there has to be something in here!" Jade said. "That Daredevil comet should show us something."
"Aside from nothing but destroying our auras for no good reason?" Yagami put her hand on her right hip. "We get it, your fascination for ghosts is astounding but we gotta go. We already have the Power Star."
"In a spooky place like this? Absolutely not! I wanna see what secrets this mansion hides." Jade said as Nyx would notice the mansion starting to fade away.
"You're gonna have to take a rain check on that." Nyx said.
"Is she normally like this?" Umber whispered.
"You should've seen her on Halloween. We couldn't get her away from the Boo Woods all day." Yagami responded.
Umber sweatdropped. "That figures. And I thought her fascination for the Mattermouths was odd."
"What are you Lunartics talking about? You were fascinated by them too!" Iris pointed out.
"Not as much as her though!" Yagami said.
"No no no no no! Don't fade away from me now! I must know your secrets!"
Nyx grabbed her by the arm. "Come on, ghost nerd. We're out of here." She said. "Palutena, get us out of here!"
"I'll come back for you!" Jade exclaimed.
"As long as it's not corrupted by Phazon." Yagami and Umber said in unison as they turned to look at each other. "Jinx! Double jinx-" They were taken away by the lights.
Back at the Observatory…
"I have to say, you didn't have to go and do that." Rosalina said.
"Ah, but it calmed you down, didn't it?" Ghor smiled.
Rosalina blushed. "It… did, actually. I appreciate it."
"Then it was a rousing success!"
Rosalina giggled. "Indeed. I'm gonna go meditate some more." She said as she walked off.
"Hmm…" Palutena rubbed her chin. "I can't help but wonder…"
"About what?" Viridi asked.
"Have you noticed the atmosphere being… different around here? It's kind of a dreadful kind of atmosphere. It's subtle, but I can feel it."
"Now that you've mentioned it, I've been feeling it too." Viridi nodded. "I wonder what the cause of it is…" She wondered as Polari floated over.
"So you two feel it as well?" Polari asked as the goddesses nodded. "Follow me." He said as he went into the library with the two of them following him.
"Sis!" Junior exclaimed, hugging Neo happily as she hugged him back in return. "Oh, I've missed you!"
["I've missed you too."] Neo smiled before having an idea, whistling to get Luigi's attention.
"What's up?" Luigi asked as he got closer.
Neo pulled out her scroll. ["Smile for the camera~!"]
At Ridley's ship…
Marnie's phone went off while she was leaning on a wall, tuning out Kamek, General Guy and Piers all arguing about something. "Hmm?" She wondered as she looked into it, seeing that Neo had texted her. "Wonder what she has to say…" She clicked the message.
"Get in, loser. We're getting ourselves kidnapped to the Observatory!" followed by a Heart emoji and then a selfie with Neo, Luigi and Junior posing for the camera.
Marnie snickered at the text and then stared at the picture. She let out a scowl and started to text back.
"That… DOES IT!" She yelled, catching the trio's attention as Marnie texted Neo back.
Be right there.
Marnie put her phone away. "Kamek, get the airship running and get everyone who isn't fully corrupted by Phazon on the airship. Now."
"Oh? Where are we going?" Kamek asked.
"To the Observatory. We're getting the hell out of here."
At the library…
"So, you both can feel it." Polari said.
"Yeah. I've been feeling it for a while… it's different compared to what we're used to." Palutena said.
"Even when I was fighting for my life… I could feel it as well. I'm not sure what it is though." Viridi chimed in as Polari was looking for a book.
"As you both know, Rosalina is angry... and i've been theorizing we are to behold a breathtaking yet dangerous event... ah, here we are." He pulled out a book.
"What's the event?" Viridi asked.
"Supernova... but it's not the supernova ordinary humans and gods think of. It's a more unique power from Rosalina herself." He opened up the book. "I've only seen this power once myself, it was when she was 350 years old at the time. We were too close to a star about to implode in on itself and once it went supernova, Rosalina took the full force of the blast while protecting everyone. However... instead of killing her, her cosmic powers absorbed it. She was out for about a week. She came to and everything seemed normal... that's when the incident happened."
"Oh?" Palutena seemed intrigued but also nervous.
"We were visiting a galaxy when we were ambushed by cosmic bandits. Rosalina held them off but one of them had managed to do something that made her snap. One of them had flanked her and went in for the kill... but a Luma protected her. When she saw that the bandit killed this Luma... what everyone had witnessed was enough to scare even me."
Polari flipped a page until a hologram popped out as they saw Rosalina looking entirely different. Her hair was glowing a solid yellow bright as the sun, her eyes were glowing with plasma and her dress went from a teal blue to an orange color.
BGM: Environmental Mystery (Metroid Fusion)
"Ah geez!" Viridi shielded her eyes. "The hair is bright as the sun!"
"Indeed. This unlocked a form known as Supernova Rosalina, or Supernova for short. Once she goes into this form... all hell breaks loose. There is a reason why she holds back while in a fight... because even she fears this power."
"She does?" Palutena looked even more nervous.
"There is a reason why Rosalina would rather preserve life instead of taking it. It was this very incident. Now, Rosalina has always been like this... but after this incident, she made sure to keep it that way. A single punch when in this form can send an intergalactic shockwave. You may think this shockwave is harmless, but not only does it travel across the universe, it's also filled with cosmic radiation. Not to mention a neighoring galaxy lost power for about eighteen months, sending that galaxy back to the stone ages."
Palutena's eyes widened while Viridi put her hands over her mouth. Palutena nearly paled up. "Oh my…"
"Indeed. There is a reason she is the most powerful being in the universe, and yet tends to fight with one arm tied behind her back. When she cuts loose... no one is safe."
"Has she… destroyed anything?" Viridi quietly asked.
"A galaxy no longer exists because of this power. She's not proud of it either... in fact, she doesn't like to talk about it. She tried to make amends when a Luma decided to transform into said galaxy, but it just wasn't the same. Not only that, but said galaxy crumbled underneath the weight of a black hole that was passing through."
"Is there… any way we can stop this?" Palutena hoped.
Polari closed the book. "The only thing we can do is wait it out and ride through the waves. There's absolutely no stopping her until all of that energy is gone. Her rage is building, and so is her power level. At this point, it's imminent. Once it reaches 100%..." He trailed off.
"What do we do?" Viridi asked.
"Make a protective barrier that can shield us from her power and then..." Polari closed his eyes.
"And then… what?" Palutena nervously asked with concern.

Polari slowly reopened his eyes as there was a hint of fear glimmering in his blue eyes.
"Brace for impact."
Ibuki: Ooooh, Ridley and Dark Samus are in for it now!
