[A/N: I'm not abandoning any of my fics, I just do things for fun. Yes, cockroach isn't over yet, I just need to actually read DxD before I do anything drastic like kill an important character, or cuck some unsuspecting fool. With that out of the way, let's get on with the fic!

Oh, and side note: chapter's going to have a couple of info dumps, sorry in advance.]

Rule number 1 to anyone with a solid brain in their head, never go in a room with men in black suits. Whatever's happening in there has to be at least sketchy as fuck. Sadly, my brain doesn't work like that, and how I ended up roped into some company bullshit.

At least I get some waifus for doing it.

With that out of the way, it's time for some introductions. My name is Sora, I'm 19 years old and a professional dumbass who's now traveling to the world of SMT 3 on a business trip.

Waking up on a train, I got up and looked at my new self. I was now in the body of "Demi-Fiend", though I am quite a bit taller, standing at about 6'3, and the muscles on my body were larger thanks to the talent.

"Yoyogi-Koen. Yoyogi-Koen." The announcer stated through the PA system. This should be the stop, now we just have t-

*vvvt*

Someone messaged me, wonder who it could be? Pulling out my phone, I found out it was from the Naoto look alike.

Nitta-san: You're late, Sora! What's the big deal? You forget we're visiting Ms. Takao today? Just get to Yoyogi Park ASAP. Time's a-wastin'!

Nitta-san: Real talk, I'd prefer more of a "private counseling" scenario. Buuuut, Ms. Takao IS a lot nicer when you're around…

Nitta-san: Oh right. Be sure to dress improperly. After all, you represent me by association. How about the slick jacket you bought the other day? The one with the little demon sprites?

Nitta-san: Remember, you're only the mood maker. Don't get it twisted, m'kay.

The person, Nitta Isamu, urged me to head over quicker. Following the plot, before I inevitably shatter it, I exited the station.

Thankfully, I didn't get lost on the way there. While I was at it, I tested out my first element. Enhancement. Seems like the current boost only gives me a small amount of extra speed, but that was good enough.

Getting to the park, I found a man that I'd see quite a bit of in my journey. Standing in front of a sign, wearing what looked to be a spotted polo, but it looked closer to scales up close.

"Great, the entire park's closed off. They can't even let a guy in and snap a few photos? Guess it's not my lucky day." He said aloud, rubbing his fingers on the rim of his hat. Though, it appeared that he finally noticed me staring at him. "You need anything, kid?" he asked, turning to face me.

"Nothing much," I shrugged, eyes drifting to anything else I could find. "was just walking to the park. But, looking at the situation, sounds like a change of plans." I responded in an annoyed tone,

"Well, here's what they said on the TV:'Panic erupts as a clash between corporate representatives and a civic organization ends in violent deaths.'" Interesting thought, I wonder who won?

"Pretty disturbing right? But those people who live on the fringe say… It was a deeper struggle between two cults." At that moment, my phone decided to ring again, just when things were about to get interesting.

Pulling out my phone, the guy seems a bit surprised… I'm not supposed to have a phone like this, am I? Yep, the year should be somewhere around 2005, if we're going to use the year the game was released. So using a touchscreen phone would make me look either high or really rich.

Moving on, putting it up to my ear, a female voice went through. "Hey Sora, are you there? Finally, I got a hold of you. What's taking you so long?"

"Sorry, you can't really blame me though, the train got delayed while I was waiting for it."Saying these words, I heard a tired sigh on the other end. What else was I supposed to say?

"You're still at Yoyogi Park, right? We kinda just left a bit ago, you should head straight for the hospital. You remember which one, right? Just to jog your memory a little, it's Shinjuku Medical Center. Just head east from Shinjuku Station, you can't miss it."

"Well, I better get going then, wouldn't want you guys leaving me alone again." I replied with a bit of snark. This ticked off a nerve in the girl as she shouted through the phone.

"Just get here already damn it!"

The call abruptly ended there. The man's attention was quickly taken by the things he heard from the call. "Hold up, you're on your way to Shinjuku Medical Center? Oddly enough, I was just about to head there myself. Oh… Here, you should probably take it." Handing me a magazine, he continued on.

"It's a copy of our upcoming issue. I'm assuming you don't know what went down here. Then, you probably don't know what kind of place that Hospital is either. The name's Hijiri, author of 'The Ring of Gaea and the Scripture of Miroku.' Might want to give that a read. I know what you're wondering, why would a hospital be associated with the occult. But that hospital is anything but normal. Or so they say. There's a lot of misinformation floating around these days. If it turns out I'm wrong, just laugh it off, okay? Well, I better get going. Oh, if we ever cross paths again, tell me how you liked my article."

And with that, everything was finally done, I got my ass over to the medical center.

That took longer than I expected. The world is larger in real life, what did you think was going to happen? But, it should have been just a little bit faster with the boosts in speed.

Inside the actual building, sitting on one of the long lobby seats, was the girl who talked to me on the phone, Chiaki Tachibana. She wore a blue denim dress and boots, and I have no idea what that white belt thing i-.

"Well hey, Sora about time." She let out a sigh of relief upon seeing me. Making a small tentacle with my shroud, I slowly made it crawl behind her. "Is it just me, or is something seriously off here?" She worriedly asked me.

"No, absolutely nothing is wrong at all. Just relax and let's try to find Ms. Takao's room, okay?" I reassured her, extending an arm out.

And everything fell according to plan. Once she touched my hand, black tentacles sprouted from my wrists. She fell back in surprise, but Chiaki was suddenly trapped by the black substance which formed a dome around her.

Forcing my will onto the thing, the dome constricted around her. The substance became skin-tight, wrapping itself into every nook and cranny inside her body. Tendrils conjoined to become large, entering her mouth and other holes, while the smaller ones entered through her pores, completely suffocating her. And within a couple more seconds, it was complete.

The shroud quite literally violated every part of her body, it was almost indescribable. A dark writhing mass, squirming with every passing second, gradually becoming smaller and smaller until it revealed the naked form of Chiaki.

She slowly started to regain consciousness, a semi-liquid covered her body in the clothes she wore just before being bound. A soft ping rang on my phone, notifying me of the successful capture. A good tier 8 to start things off, nice.

"Wa-what? Sora? What happened here? Did I pass out?" A confused Chiaki asked, rubbing the sides of her head to relieve a forming headache.

Helping her up, I reminded her. "Don't we have to find Ms. Takao? Let's go together and meet up with Nitta-san, or just text him when we find her."

Still clutching her head, she tried to get up, only for her knees to give out once they fully stretched "I-agh- I think I'll stay here. You should go on your own. Wait. Give me that magazine, it should give me something to do once this headache subsides." And with the seeds planted, the plot thickens. This should set up exposition for later when I get back here.

With nothing else to do here, I left to go find our teacher or anyone else for that matter.

This entire place was seemingly abandoned. Like all the staff and patients just up and left the place just recently. Though I did find Isamu, look just as confused as I was.

He jumped in surprise upon seeing me, letting out a short scream. "Man, you scared the crap out of me! Why'd you go sneaking up like that? Geez, you come in late, you cause trouble. You know what, forget it. Not worth it." His shoulders rolled back and he let out a sigh.

"I'm sure you already noticed, but this place has been cleaned out. You think everyone died off? I called Ms. Takao to make sure this was it. She clearly told me, 'Shinkjuku Medical Center'" Pacing around the room, he tried and failed to find a reason for all of this.

"I heard that the residents did some sort of ritual and sacrificed everyone here." Isamu was was quick to call me out on my bullshit.

"You expect me to believe that crap!? Get a load of this guy, talking about rituals, the occult like they actually exist. Absurd! They could've at least put a sign out the front for the visitor or something!" Letting out another sigh, his frustration got the better of him, exploding everywhere as he spoke.

"All right, I'm going to head back down and check out how Chiaki's doing. I bet she's all pissed 'cause I've been gone for so long… It ain't easy pleasing a princess. Anyway, Sora… I really hope this isn't the shit storm it's shaping up to be." He tiredly admitted, walking out of the room.

Following his example, I left the barren room. But not before switching to my other shroud and sucking up the soul. It seemingly gave me a boost in my abilities, as my body felt lighter and more energized. It was like a shot of caffeine straight into your veins.

Getting back to the lobby, I found Chiaki, her face glued to the magazine I gave her. "Oh, you're back." Surprised, she turned to look at me, her face turning concerned.

"You know that special report at the beginning of the magazine? Well, it says some things that are more than just a little unsettling. According to this, there's a cult of demon worshippers who call themselves the Ring of Gaea. And they're right here in Japan. Apparently, they believe in this book of prophecy called the Spricture of Miroku. In the book, it says that chaos will engulf the world. And these people are trying to cause that somehow."

As the fear within her grew, a small portion of her hair and the pointer finger on her right hand began to glow a dim silver. It was then that Isamu decided to enter the lobby.

"No luck finding Ms. Takao. I even looked in the men's room." He tiredly announced, putting his hands around his neck. His laid-back nature seemed to rub Chiaki off the wrong way.

"We didn't need to hear that Nitta-san, why would a woman like her be in the men's room anyway? Argh! Moving on," With a bit of irritation in her voice, she continued reading and explaining the contents of the magazine

"a hospital on the east side of Shinjuku is closely linked to the organization's sinister plan."

There was a short pause before Isamu interjected. "Lemme guess, it ends with. 'Find out on our next issue' Get real, this actually believes this crap?"

"Though from the rumors I heard about this place, it wouldn't sound too far fetched. Like how they run deadly experiments on patients, or how a psychic in a straitjacket bolted out of here screaming bloody murder. And of course, there's a rumor that a cult is behind all of this mess."

There was another eerie silence, the three of us looked at each other, a bit shaken up, before Chiaki spoke up.

"Y-you're serious?"She tripped over her words before recomposing herself. "Why haven't we heard about this before? Why did Ms. Takao tell us to come here if rumors like that were associated with the building, it doesn't make sense!?" Disbelief blinds her emotions as more and more portions of her body become silver.

"How 'bout we ask the woman 'erself? We search every part of this building, and if she's not here, we split." Isamu explained, trying his best not to get the little princess angry.

Everyone nodded and he continued with his plan once more. "Sora, you should take this. It's the key card to the basement. "

"And if he finds any of those 'things' down there? Why don't you check the basement, while we clear out everything else? You scared of the monster in the closet?" This was near-180 for her character, though it really is my fault. I don't mind, it's more survivability while I try to get my abilities up and running.

"Fine then! Why don't the two of you go to the basement if you're worried about his safety. Look. All you need to do is confirm that Ms. Takao isn't in the basement, Got it? After all, saving the day is my job. Should things take a sharp turn towards the shit storm, just run like a bat outta hell! Okay?" And with that, Isamu turned back and went up the stairs, in search of our mysterious teacher.

Closing the magazine, Chiaki stood up and grabbed a hold of my hand, bringing it close to her. "Come on Sora, we have to go through a hospital basement, and I would rather be anywhere else but there."

Going up to an elevator in the back end of the lobby, we called for it and went down to the bottom floor.

Entering the basement, I covered my eyes and waited for them to adjust to the new lighting. While not necessarily "night" dark, the lights adjacent to us were dimming with each second, some of them even flickering. The cold metal(?) walls surrounded all but the ceiling, which was just grating. The whole place just had this atmosphere of sketchy science experiments.

Right in front of us was a metal security gate, slotting the card inside, it opened with a loud creak, adding to the already dense air of this place.

Using the mapper, we successfully made our way to the room with our teacher. This feels… great. Not bumping into every single wall and getting lost in the labyrinth that is the entire new world, is quite refreshing.

Entering the room, a man sat quietly observing a device hooked up to machinery that was scattered around the room. The device itself looked like it had 3 individual circles stacked on top of each other, with rune-like inscriptions all over the surface. "Who is it?" The man said in a stern tone.

"Who dares disrupt this stillness... Only two lost lambs" Spinning his chair, he turned to look at us. Getting a good look at him, he appeared to be a man dressed in a suit, his most notable feature was definitely his hair, having a sort of "m" shape to it.

"A well-known poet once said, 'April is the cruelest month.' Have you any inclination as to why?" There was a pause that only lasted a second, not giving us any time to think of an answer, he continued.

"Because it is then one awakens from a long sleep and faces a barren world…" He continued on with his monologue, about the world needing to be born anew, my mind blacked out through most of it until he asked if we were acquainted with our teacher.

"Come to think of it, this was a hospital, wasn't it? And you merely came to visit her." Shifting his position on his chair, his expression seemed to only grow more bored as time went on. He glanced at the back of his hand lazily before continuing.

"However, even a pebble creates ripples when cast in water… And while I do feel pity for you… Your life end here!" The last word left his mouth, centering his body relative to the seat, he waved his hand to the left, and the machine behind him proceeded to glow a bright blue.

In moments a heavy pressure forced itself into the room, a ghost-like image of Baphomet appeared behind the man as he said. "Don't be afraid. All the inhabitants of this world will follow before long. Your time has just come a bit sooner, that's all"

That was my cue to dump mana like it was oil into curse defense buffs and creating a shield from the shroud, while Chiaki's arm became fully silver. "I reject your reality with my own!" I loudly exclaimed, raising a black shield from the shadows within the room.

"Interesting, you know of magic… But that won't help you. Demon! Attack these brats." The door behind us opened up, and just before the attack was about to clash. Out came our teacher, Ms. Takao, moments too late to save her students.

"Sto-!" She tried to reach out to us, but it was all for naught, as a blast of pure death was hurled towards the two of us.

[Dice Roll for Survival: 1d10- Success]

The attack moved forward and fazed right through us, failing to harm either one of us in the slightest. As the dust settled, our teacher pushed her way in front of us, moving us aside as she talked to the dick with a demon hovering behind him.

"What are you doing!? Do you just kill random high schoolers for just existing?" She shouted in concern and anger, pushing her students, us, closer to the door.

In a serious deadpan expression, he stared at Ms. Takao and answered with. "However insignificant both of them are, I am not a man of exceptions. You know this."

"Fine! I quit! Go find someone else to help with your plans." That was the final straw for the man, raising his hand, he repeated the motions he did earlier. This time, a different demon appeared.

One of the demons of Goetia, Ose. Or as I like to call him, "Jaguar in a Thong". Raising a slowness and physical defense shield around all of us, I grabbed both their hands and booked it out of there as fast as I could.

*Swish*

The sound of something being cut clean echoed behind us, as we were turning the corner out of the hallway. The metal door was cut, and the beast was on the loose, hunting us down. Luckily enough, it was slowed just enough for us to get to the gate, the thing still hot on our trail.

But an old lady in black and a little blond boy block our path to the elevator. "What's wrong, my little master? Are you curious about that person over that?" The old woman said in a raspy voice, while the kid whispered something to her.

"Is that so? My, my… But first, there seems to be a little demon bothering us, shall I take care of it?" The little boy nodded. Raising her hand, she wrote several symbols into the air. Moments later, a barrier appeared, trapping the demon and pushing it back into the room. With that done, they disappeared in a blink of an eye.

"Am I going to be the only one to say this? Because people repelling a demon is definitely not normal!" Chiaki blurted out, not noticing the small changes to her body.

"We should talk about this on the roof, we should be safe from any more attacks there." Our teacher stated, dragging both of us with her.

Getting inside the elevator, she quickly briefed us on the "Conception". The end of the world as we knew it, the near-complete destruction of mankind. How everyone outside of the hospital would die, and we would be the last there was of humanity.

*ding*

"Let's go, it's about to start." Walking out onto the rooftop, I took this as my chance to capture her.

"Hey, Ms. Takao? What would you do if I could give you the power to become our pillar like you said you wanted to be?" With the situation right now, and the world at its final legs, the hint I dropped causes her to freeze up. Turning her head to look at me, and to my surprise, she answered seriously.

"I would take it. No matter where it came from, if it can give me the power to protect or support you three, then I would take it, even if it had drawbacks." I inwardly grin hearing her response, now was the time for action.

Offering her a hand, I flat out ask her. "Do you want that kind of power? Or, are you perhaps more selfish than that? Using it for your own gain to survive this new and scary world. Which one wi-" My words were cut completely when she put my hand up to her chest. Hesitating for but the briefest of moments, she strengthened her resolve

"I'll take it. I swear to help you, Chiaki, and even Isamu whenever it is required, even if it endangers me."

"Then all you have to do is… sleep." Just like earlier, a monochrome tentacle snakes its way up -, no, Yuki's body, crawling all the way up to her mouth, leaving bits and pieces of itself to cocoon the older woman.

Said pieces, elongate and spread throughout her body, going through her clothes to access her body. The one near her mouth slowly forces its way inside, though it was met with a bit of resistance at first, adding a bit more force, it was able to push through the blockade.

Feeling the cold touch of death on her skin sent a shiver up her entire body, as the chrome tendrils entered her pores slowly. Her legs became weak, and she fell to the ground, clutching herself to conserve heat. Multiple tendrils came together and made two giant pulsating tentacles, one for each hole. With everything ready, they both prodded and ran across the edges, teasing the entrances. Yuki tried to moan, but the appendage in her mouth didn't allow her, moving further into her throat.

Making an attempt to move her arms, she instead found them stuck to the floor, and a rod in each of them. Several seconds pass as she tries and fails to remove the shackles that bind her, feeling a foreign object entering her thoroughly wet lower holes. She snapped her eyes open, only to find her students leaning against the entrance, holding each other in their arms, as the world around them blurred in a flash of blue light.

[A/N: I have no idea how to make tentacle not sound repetitive, please forgive me.

Come back next time where we finish capturing Yuki Takao, and find a fuck ton more waifus.]
