Class Schedule
Wheww! First period went over well. I was afraid for a moment there Miss Damiko would confiscate my notepad. Well I'm waiting over here at my next class, Chemistry and-
"Miss, you'll have to put that away once class starts, okay?"
"Yes sensei. Understood."
Class is about to start soon, so I'll put you away for now.

M:"Hi Honey. How was school today?"
"It was alright."
M:"Alright? Tell me what happened."
"I nearly got accosted by a couple of hooligans-"
M:"Hooligans?!"
F:"Sweetie, are you sure you should be attending Yabaize?"
M: "Now Apricot. She's old enough to be making her own decisions. She doesn't need our coddling any longer."
"It's alright, mom. I've already scheduled an appointment with my homeroom teacher, Miss Damiko to discuss on the matter of the hooligans that accosted me."
M:"That's good to hear."
F: "Yeah, well I'd like it better if you just took the time to develop the feminine traits. You still can't sew, your janitorial skills could use some improvement and you spend way too much time reading shonen manga."
M: "Is that a problem?"
F: "What kind of guy wants a girl like that?"
"What if I don't want to get married?"
F: "I'm only doing this for your own good. At least try."
"Hauah. Father, for the last time, I-"
F: "Then how about developing those feminie traits so you can take care of yourself."
"Huh."
F: "It's not like you can just hire anybody to pamper you. If you won't do it for a husband, do it for yourself."
"I- okay then…"
F: "Yes, learning to take care of house will be a great asset to your future, whether you get married or not. Now you should quickly eat your dinner before it gets cold."
"R-right!"
Tonight's dinner is Takoyaki with Yakisoba. My dad's a street vendor chef, so it makes sense he would cook something like this. My mom? She's an accountant. As for me, well, I haven't decided what I want to become yet. Anyways, ikamakisas!
F: "So- mhm. Other than that incident, did anything else happen today at school?"
"No, not really."
M: "What about your classmates?"
"Just the typical, though I did overhear a couple of students were mentally handicapped. Not sure if those rumors are true, but I did see something about mental health."
F: "Ha. Wouldn't surprise me if Yabaize is also advanced in mental health."
"Yeah, that's funny. I was under the impression they were good for the material sciences, not something like this."
M: "Well, when you're top of the field, you tend to be able to spend a little more. It's not really that much of a stretch they would also invest in the mental well-being of their students."
F: "Yeah, that's why I preferred you going to that High School, cuz, you know."
"Yeah."
It cannot be denied that Japan has a mental health crisis. Hardly any of us are willing to discuss our issues out of fear of ridicule. It makes us look weak, but seeing that a prestige high school is willing to accommodate such issues, it makes my dad's heart glad. Me? I guess it's nice. Should help with Japan's suicide pandema.

Ring ring
"Hey ya!"
"Pachiko-san!"
"How's it going, Aoi?"
"Not much. You?"
"Oh, it's been superb. Hey, I'm planning on going a night out on town. Wanna join me?"
"I'd love to, but I have homework."
"Aw, why you gotta be like that? I'm your best friend, right? C'mon. Just once."
"And squander off my parents money? No thanks."
"Boo. You're no fun."
"I'll make it up for you."
"Mmmhm."
"Want some green tea? I can make you some of tha-"
"Is your dad going to make that green tea?"
"..."
"I knew it. Geez. You hardly go out anymore."
"Well I'm sorry, but unlike you, I want to look towards my future. We're not going to always be young forever you know."
"Yeah, but there's still plenty of time to play. No need to rush. Anyways, just calling to check up on you. Take care."
"I will."
Pachiko. She's a good friend of mine. I've been seeing her every weekend ever since I was 11. I haven't been seeing her that much ever since last semester, so I think I'll make it up for her and yeah. She's right. There's no need for me to rush. Still, I just wish she'd take her studies seriously. Now, first. A bit of Calculus. Let's see. It's page 143.

Fuck! I think I'm going to need mom's help on this one.
"Hey mom!"
"Yes Honey?"
"Can I ask your help?"
"Is it math related?"
"Yes. I'm having a hard time understanding this section"
Math. The bane of humanity. Why do they have to have us do this? Don't get me wrong, I know it can be useful. Just- augh! It's killing my brain! So I asked my mom for help. Being an accountant, she's pretty good with numbers. Me? I can only hope they'll let me stay. Well it's getting late now. Time to hit the sack!

"So, can you give me a description of the ones who accosted you? What did they look like?"
"Well she looked to be a freshman, had short gray hair, wore blacklipsticks- I think they said her name was Hina."
"Hina?"
"I didn't get her first name."
"I see. And this other person you mentioned-"
"Kyo. She was roughly the same height, 4ft 11 inches, slightly lighter build."
"And Hina's?"
"Medium build, C-cup."
"I see. I'll send a report to the headmaster. In the meantime I suggest you stay safe and don't worry. It will be alright."
I managed to inform Miss Damiko of my predicament. She seems nice, I do hope she's going to do what she said and I do hope something comes off it. Anyways, I better head on over to Mechanical Engineering next. Huh. Go figures. They're having me, a freshman in highschool, learn Mechanical Engineering. This highschool really is something I tell ya. Still, I'm not bothered. It's a big world out there and I'm gonna conquer it one day! Yes, just you wait. No yakuza cunt is going to hold me down.
