Here's the next chapter. This is part one of Amanda's big appointment and she bonds with Alex as well. Hope you guys enjoy. I had the last two chapters written so I want to go ahead and get them up for y'all.

The next morning Olivia woke up and smiled. Feeling the wait on her chest she looked down and saw Amanda, still sleeping soundly.

Carefully, as to not wake the blonde she quietly got out of bed before going into the kitchen.

She found Alex at the table, drinking coffee and going through her notes. The ADA had decided to stay the night, since she thought being there would make it easier for her to advocate for Amanda.

"Morning, Liv," Alex said and the brunette just nodded before making herself some coffee. "So, what do you think?" She asked after taking a seat at the table. "These people are nuts," she exclaimed. "After what I heard last night there's not a chance in hell I'd make her testify if I was prosecuting," she yelled but immediately quietened back down. "Those are some nightmares," she said and the brunette just nodded. "The screams; I can't even imagine," she continued and Olivia just sighed. "She's been through hell," the detective said and this will not help one bit.

"Trust me, I know," she said. "That's why i stayed over," she continued.

"Now I can really help her," she said and the brunette just gave her a look. "Their not just gonna be taking your word or how she acts, I can tell them what i witnessed," she told the brunette.

About an hour later Alex looked up when she heard soft footsteps entering the kitchen. "Good morning, Amanda," the ADA said kindly and the other blonde just looked around. "Liv," she signed.

"She just went to get ready," Alex responded. "Is... she leaving?" The blonnde signed, afraid Olivia was leaving without her.

Alex seeing the young detective starting to panic quickly began to explain. "No, honey," she said. "You will be coming with us," she assured, and she smiled when she saw Amanda beginning to relax before carefully sitting down next to her.

"Court?" The young detective signed after a few minutes and Alex just looked at her, not understanding. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Court?" the other blonde signed once more and Alex took a deep breath. she needed to remain calm, but she really didn't understand what Amanda was trying to ask her. Then it clicked. "No, sweetie," she responded. "We are going to see the state's psychologist," she continued. "Court?" The blonde signed for the 3rd time, and the ADA wondered if she was autistic. That would be something to ask Liv about later.

"No, sweetie," she explained. "Hopefully once we see this lady, she will convince them to not make you testify. "Good, don't want to go to court," she signed. "I want to stay with Liv," she continued and her next statement nearly caused the seasoned DA to lose it. "She keeps me safe from the bad man," she spoke in barely above a whisper. Alex swallowed the lump in her throat, took a deep breath and carefully took Amanda's hand. "I know she does, sweetie," she responded kindly.

A little while later, Olivia walked into the kitchen and stopped in her tracks at the scene she saw. The two blondes were sitting at the table with Alex gently holding Amanda's hand. This was huge.

If by some chance Amanda had to testify and she wasn't aloud inside with her at least she would have Alex.

"Are you guys ready?" She said and Amanda immediately let go of Alex's hand before walking over to her and hugging her tightly. "Morning," she signed. "Hey there, baby," she said hugging her back just as tightly. "Whenever you are," Alex responded. "Nice?" The blonde signed after a few minutes of driving. "Is who nice, baby?" Olivia said, turning in her seat to look at her. "Psychologist," she signed and Olivia shared a look with Alex. "Yes, she is," the attorney answered and Amanda smiled.

When they pulled into the parking lot, Olivia could see Amanda was extremely nervus. "Carry me?" She signed, leaning towards the detective. "Ok, sweetheart, come here," she cooed, lifting the blonde into her arms who immediately buried her head in the brunette's neck. She shared a look with Alex over the blonde's head.

Walking into the office, Alex could see the younger detective beginning to tremble in the brunette's arms. "It's ok, baby," I promise. "Don't let her take me away," she signed as she began crying silently. "Hush, baby, no one is taking you anywhere," she whispered. "Don't let go," she signed. "Never, baby, I'm right here," she said rocking her slightly.

Alex just looked at them. She really hoped she hadn't made a huge mistake by bringing her here.
