A/n Here is the next chapter. This was going to be Part 2 of Alex and Amanda bonding but I'll get back to that soon. I actually decided to update this chapter and go ahead and add more of Alex and Amanda's bond. For RizRoliCacabot's review and wanting Tucker to be put in his place, that will either be in the next one or the one after. I'll know which one when I right it. Lol. To RachelHxxx I decided to go ahead and do Olivia's breaking point in this chapter as well as adding a major cliffhanger. Enjoy and thanks for reading.

That night at around1 A.M. Olivia opened her eyes when she felt the bed dip.

She had put Amanda in the spare room a few hours ago, but she didn't know if she would make it through the night. "Hey, sweetheart," she whispered. "Are you ok?" She asked and the blonde nodded.

"What are you doing awake?" She continued and Amanda responded by cuddling up next to her beneath the blankets and lying her head on the brunette's chest. "Wanted you," she said and Liv just sighed tiredly.

"Ok, baby, but you know what Dr. Phillips says about you sleeping with me all the time, there will be nights when I won't be here," she said and sighed when Amanda looked away.

"Don't care," Amanda suddenly yelled, and the brunette stared at her in surprise.

Her detective never yelled at her. Normally this wouldn't bother her, but it was 1 A.M. and she was exhausted. The case of the missing little girl was getting to her and she so didn't need this right now.

"Amanda, I'm tired so lets just get you back to your own room and I'll stay with you until you fall asleep and we can talk about this tomorrow," she said, knowing if this continued she may say or do something she'd regret.

"No, I want you," Amanda screamed, hitting the bed with her fists as she began to cry and Liv finally lost it.

"I don't care what you want right now," the brunette yelled, gripping Amanda's arm. "I'm tired so we are sleeping separately tonight, ."

"I wanna stay with you," Amanda wailed and Liv roughly moved away but kept the blonde at arms length.

"I can't deal with you or your nightmares right now, she continued but then froze as realization of what she had just done set in.

Letting go of Amanda's arm she moved away, giving Her space.

She wasn't at all surprised when the blonde began having a full-on meltdown, screaming, throwing things and hitting her head against the wall while repeating the words the brunette had said to her only moments ago.

Snapping out of her stooper, she immediately jumped into action, attempting to fix the mess she had created.

"Hey, sweetie," she said softly, laying a hand on Amanda's arm.

This only made Amanda increase her distructive behavior as she continued hitting her head against the wall.

"I can't deal with you right now," she continued screaming and her boss sighed. How could she have been so stupid.

Her guilt was eating her alive, but she couldn't focus on that right now.

She had to fix this.

"Baby, I'm so sorry," she said as tears began running down her face.

"Let's try to calm down, you're hurting yourself," she continued as she placed a pillow between Amanda's head and the wall.

"I can't deal with you and your nightmares, we are sleeping separately," she shrieked hysterically.

"I know, baby," she said. "I didn't mean it though, come here," she said opening her arms and Amanda immediately stopped hitting her head and through herself at her, still sobbing.

"Shhh, baby girl," she cooed beginning to rock the blonde in her arms and sighed in releef when after about 10 minutesAmanda's hands found their way to the brunette's t-shirt and into her mouth, or as Liv called them her comfort positions.

"Good girl, just relax, I'm right here, do what you need to to relax," she cooed as Amanda's hand in her t-shirt loosened while the chewing on her fingers increased and she knew she was beginning to self sooth in a positive way.

"Good thing this is my sleep shirt," the brunette said lightly as Amanda began to drool.

"You ok there, honey?" She asked glancing down to the blonde in her arms who still had her fingers in her mouth, chewing happily while looking at her and she felt even more guilty. This was all she wanted, and because of Olivia's momentary anger she had caused the blonde to have a meltdown.

She removed her fingers long enough to nod before immediately beginning to chew once more.

"You wanna lay down with me?" "Would you like that?"She asked after a few minutes and Amanda just cuddled closer but otherwise didn't stop what she was doing or verbally respond.

"Ok, baby, let's go back to sleep."

"You can sleep with me tonight," she whispered, kissing Amanda's head as she got the two of them into a laying position with Amanda on her chest but she didn't remove the blonde's fingers from her mouth.

Amanda gave her a look after a bit though when her fingers weren't removed like normal and Liv smiled comfortingly.

"It's ok, baby, do what you need to," she said again and the blonde immediately began chewing once again, this time not seeing a reason to, or wanting to stop finally reassured she was safe to do what she needed to and Liv wondered if she was regressed.

"Amanda?" Ar you bigor little right now?" She asked, needing to know.

"Both," she signed before once again clutching the brunette's t-shirt and Liv gave her a look but otherwise didn't comment.

This had happened before and she was certain she could get through it again.

A little while later, Liv opened her eyes and was met with a pair of blue eyes looking up at her.

"Baby, why aren't you asleep?" She asked.

"Not sleepy," she said and the brunette saw her fingers were still in her mouth but she was now just softly sucking and Liv figured she had calmed down somewhat but she knew her autism caused her chewing and sucking to be a stim and something she couldn't control.

"You like that?" She asked referring to the chewing and the blonde nodded as she began to once again drool.

"Are you tired?" She asked and in response Amanda shifted on her chest before finally settling down, all while never removing her fingers and Liv sighed sadly.

"I'm sorry."

"It has just been a long day," she continued. "It is no excuse though," she whispered and the blonde looked at her before finally stopping her chewing, removing her fingers that were covered with drool from her mouth and completely making eye contact.

"I shouldn't have yelled at you, baby," she said.

"'s Ok," she said in a small voice.

"Love you," she continued before drifting off to sleep and Liv wasn't to far behind her.

The next day Alex arrived and could immediately tell something was wrong.

Amanda had refused to be put down and all she wanted was Liv to hold her.

Her chewing stim was also making a major reappearance and the attorney wondered what could've caused this.

"So Liv?" "What happened?" She asked when the brunette walked into the living room with Amanda in her arms and her fingers once again in her mouth.

"I uh, screwed up," she answered quietly as she sat in the rocking chair but close enough to the attorney incase Amanda wanted to cuddle with her. .

"How," she asked, her curiosity finally winning out.

She wondered if the brunette would even go in today. If she did though, she needed to be prepared. "I yelled at her last night," she finally said and Alex raised her eyes in complete shock; however, that shock quickly turned to anger.

"You did what?" Alex yelled, but softened slightly at the guilty look on Liv's face.

"I know, but I was exhausted," she started and Alex sighed.

"I know but," she sttarted but stopped when she felt Amanda climbing into her lap.

"Hey, sweetie," she said and Amanda cuddled closer but didn't speak.

"i know I shouldn't have yelled at her," Olivia continued. "It was the biggest mistake ever," she continued and Alex nodded.

"She just wanted to sleep with me but this case has been running me raggid," she said with a sigh.

"I actually thought she would be more frightened of me, but she has actually been more clingy."

"Are you going in?" The blonde asked and the brunette let out a sigh.

"I need to, at least for a little bit," she said.

"Can you stay with her?" She asked and Alex nodded.

"Hey baby, come here," Olivia said and Amanda immediately went over to her.

"I have to go to work," she said softly and sighed when the blonde once again began chewing on her fingers and clutched her shirt. "No," she signed beginning to cry.

"Shhh, baby, it's ok." "Alex is going to stay with you," she continued and she turned before quickly climbing back into the attorney's lap while still chewing on her fingers.

"Hey, sweetie," she said. "It'll be ok, I promise." "Liv will be back she said as Amanda cried harder when she saw the brunette walking towards the door.

Alex rocked Amanda for a few minutes and smiled when the blonde got into her normal comfort position, fingers in her mouth and her other hand gripping the attorney's shirt.

"Liv doesn't want me anymore," she said, shocking Alex to the core. "No, baby, that's not true," the attorney said confidently.

"She just had a bad day, but she didn't mean to yell at you."

Amanda just shook her head not convinced. "There's only one thing I can do now," she continued.

"What's that?" The blonde asked and Amanda looked at her for a long time before responding quietly, shocking the attorney more than she ever thought possible. "I want to move in with you," she said.

"You want to do what?" Alex exclaimed, not exspecting this at all. "Move in with you," she responded, tears running rapidly down her face.

"Oh, baby, no," she said gentlly, holding her a bit closer.

"You know that's not what you want," she continued and Amanda nodded but cried even harder if that was possible.

"Shhh, sweetie, let's get some sleep, you're tired," she said, beginning to walk around the room with the young detective in her arms.

"Want Liv," she shrrieked and Alex had to do her best not to break down with her.

"I know, baby," she said.

"You know her going to work doesn't mean she doesn't want you," she continued soothingly.

"R... R... Really?" She got out between trembling lips and the attorney nodded, smiling slightly.

"She yelled," the blonde cried, breaking down once again and Alex shushed her softly, continuing to attempt to get her to sleep. "I know, sweetie, but she didn't mean to."

"Liv loves you," she said and let out the breath she didn't even know she was holding when the young detective finally relaxed in her arms a few minutes later.

The peace was shattered by her vibrating phone a little while later, and seeing that it was Fin her heart sank.

"Cabot," she answered and froze at the news on the other end of the phone.

"Alex, it's Fin," he said. "Fin?" "What's wrong?" She asked and she nearly dropped the phone at his next words.

"Liv was shot."
