Hey guys. I thought I might bring Amanda's parents into this one, just for more drama. Things will settle down in the next few chapters. To my reviewers, let me know what y'all think. If you aren't a fan let me know and I'll change it. I've got a request I need to do anyway so I can always put it here if you guys don't like this chapter. There will also be a bit of a time jump and I've also been reading a lot of autistic Spencer Reid stories on ao3 from Criminal Minds so that's helping me write Amanda's autism. I might go back and update a few chapters once I do some more reading if I see something I don't like. Hope you enjoy.

Arriving home about 3 weeks later, Olivia immediately knew something was wrong. Amanda was no where to be found.

The blonde's therapy sessions were going much better, so good in fact, that Amanda was back to working a few days a week. Today was one of the blonde's days off, and when the brunette had left that morning, Amanda was sleeping soundly, but they had texted through out the day.

Taking a deep breath to quell the fear rapidly building in the pit of her stomach, the brunette slowly began making her way through the apartment before stopping at the bedroom door. Entering the room, her heart broke at what she saw.

Amanda was curled up in the corner of the room, as tears made their way down her face, and Liv could see she'd been biting and chewing on her fingers.

"Baby"? "What's the matter?" She whispered, kneeling down in front of her.

"What's the matter," she parroted, and Liv sighed, knowing she was nonverbal, making her worries increase significantly.

She began turning off all the lights, only leaving the lamp by the bed on and closing the blinds.

Seeing the blonde trying to hold back her stims made Olivia's worries increase ten-folds, knowing something bad had to have happened, and she prayed it had nothing to do with her parents but she knew she was wrong.

"Amanda, you're ok," she said, reaching for her phone and finding a playlist of the blonde's favorite classical music and handing her a chew to use in place of her hands that she had harshly began chewing on once more as she continued rocking back and forth. As gently as she could, she lowered her hands from her mouth and sighed when Amanda let out a shriek.

"Hey, baby, shh," she whispered. "Have this," she said and Amanda immediately began chewing harshly on the pendant.

"Baby, don't hold in your stims," she said and that finally seemed to get through to her.

She began slightly rocking to the music and Liv figured that was something.

A while later, Liv was surprised when she felt Amanda cuddling up to her on the couch, the pendant still in her mouth.

"They want me to come live with them, and they say they're going to court," she said, gently hugging the brunette despite how scared she was.

"They say I'm not able to be on my own or stay with you because I'm... I'm..." she tried but couldn't get the words out before once again going nonverbal and beginning to cry silently while her chewing harshly increased once again.

"I don't wanna go," she signed and all Liv could do was hold her as her mind raced. She knew if this happened it could damage all the progress she had made in her recovery.

"It's gonna be ok," she said, and hissed quietly when Amanda shifted closer, accidentally hitting her still healing shoulder. Suddenly there was a nock at the door, and Liv opened it to find Amanda's parents as well as Fin and Alex on the other side.

"Hey, guys," Olivia said, trying to be as polite as possible. She knew Amanda had most likely misunderstood her parents words, and that they were more than likely here to take her with them. She just prayed she was wrong, but as she looked at Alex and Fin she knew she wasn't.

"Amanda," her mother said, walking over to where the blonde was sitting and sighing in disgust when she saw the chew in the blonde's mouth.

"What did I tell you about that?" She snapped and Amanda immediately removed it making Liv roll her eyes in annoyance.

This is what caused Amanda's, somewhat inappropriate behavior at times. She had been conditioned by them to be "normal" and to not do certain things so she resorted to hurting herself vs using noise canceling headphones, stim toys and chews when things got overwhelming. .

She had to do everything to remain in control at what she saw next.

Amanda had shifted closer to her mother and was attempting to hug her but Beth anne wasn't having any of it.

She sighed harshly and moved away, making the blonde's eyes fill with tears. Amanda didn't understand. Why couldn't she hug her mom? She hugged Liv all the time.

"Mama," a small voice said and both Beth Anne and Jim gave her a look making her carefully walk over to Olivia who after giving them a glare of her own gave Amanda what she desperately needed and let her cuddle against her. .

"Want it," she signed and Liv gave her a puzzled look in response. "Want what, baby?" She asked, just low enough for the blonde to hear, ignoring how she was asking for something for now and Amanda began franticly motioning to her chew she had discarded. "Here, sweet girl," the brunette cooed and exchanges a glance with Alex and Fin when her detective immediately began begging for Liv to hold her while biting on the chew in her mouth, clearly confused and scared and on the Brink of a major destructive meltdown if things went the way she thought they were fixing to go.

Taking a seat in the rocking chair Liv quickly got comfortable before letting her detective sit in her lap once more, now more afraid than ever with her parents in the room.

"We are here to take Amanda with us," her mother started but was stopped by a whine from Amanda and Liv shushed her quietly before looking back to Amanda's parents, fear rapidly building.

"Miss Rollins," Olivia started but then stopped, momentarily lost for words before starting again.

"Amanda should remain with me." "She is getting therapy and has even returned to work on a part time basis," she said, but was stopped by Amanda's father.

"She got kidnapped on your watch," he growled and she let out a sigh when she felt Amanda whine once more before attempting to shift even closer, even though that wasn't possible.

Apparently Beth Anne had had enough though and angrily made her way over to them, harshly picking the blonde up from the brunette's lap and removing the chew, causing her to lose it once she was on the floor and unable to reach Olivia with the way her mother had her standing.

They all saw the change in the blonde before her emotions took over, and not able to prolong the meltdown any longer she began screaming as she alternated between biting, hitting the sides of her head with her fists, hard enough to bruise and banging her head into the wall as tears began flowing.

"Li... li... liv," she screamed loudly and her father stepped in this time to restrain her, but not in a gentle way.

Getting her on the floor, he laid on top of her, but she still continued banging her head. Suddenly Fin ran over, jerking the man off of Amanda and she immediately through herself at Liv, still shrieking hysterically and trying to bite and the brunette sighed, knowing she wouldn't be calm for a while. "Amanda, sweetheart, no biting," she said, beginning to rock her gently back and forth and spotting the pendant she offered it to the blonde who immediately quietened down and began roughly biting and chewing on it once more as tears still rapidly fell down her face. "Easy, baby girl," she cooed after a few minutes when she saw how hard she was stillbiting and chewing. "Let's calmdown," she whispered, kissingher head and the blonde began to relax and her distructive biting on the chew began to taper off until she was just calmly chewing on the pendant, and Liv let out a sigh of relief.

Finally after a bit of silence Beth Anne spoke up. "We are leaving, and Amanda is coming with us," she said and Fin just glared at them. "What the hell was that?" He growled and Jim began defending his actions.

"She's had these tantrums since she was a kid." "It doesn't matter though, she's still going with us, so Captain Benson you better make her understand and quickly because we are leaving in 10 minutes," he said but before Olivia could respond there was a voice from the doorway.

"The hell you are," a female voice said angrily and turning around, they all froze in shock. There in the doorway was Kim Rollins, and she wasted no time in going over to Olivia and Amanda, ready to make up for all the things she'd-done and keep her sister with the only person she trusted no matter what it took.
