Hey everyone. Here's the next chapter. I finally felt motivated to write so here we go. Hope yall enjoy. Added some more information and kinda went back to Amanda's autism and her abuse as a kid.

As I've stated before I've been researching and reading autistic spencer reid fics on arkive of our own under the autistic spencer reid fandom and I highly suggest checking out fangirlmoon and littlenervousmile. They are where I got my inspiration from.

1 month later

"Amanda, please stop pacing." "You're driving me crazy, sweetheart," Liv said and chuckled fondly at her detective who was indeed pacing the length of her office, a mixture of nervousness, happiness and fear becoming apparent on her face. They were working a case and this would be her first time going back out into the field since her kidnapping and rescue.

"Stop pacing, stop pacing, stop pacing," she repeated before abruptly stopping her actions and looking at Liv. "You can do this," Olivia said gently, beginning to softly rub her back and she immediately leaned into the touch.

Arriving at the hospital they found the young woman lying in the hospital bed, covered in cuts and bruises.

"Hello, I'm Captain Benson and this is Detective Rollins." "Can you tell us your name?" Olivia said kindly as she took a seat by the bed and Amanda began taking notes.

They had decided Amanda would let Olivia do the questioning this time to ease her back into being back out into the field and allow her to adjust.

"Stephanie," she said quietly and Liv smiled gently at her. "It's nice to meet you."

"Can you tell us what happened?" She asked and Stephanie took a deep breath before beginning her story.

"I know he has struck before," she said. "I've seen the news so I've been extra careful," she continued and Olivia gently took her hand for support.

"I wanted coffee though so I stopped at this little coffee shop after work, and I was walking back home," she said and Olivia quickly glanced at Amanda before continuing her questioning.

"He came up from behind, drug me into an ally, held a knife to my throat and raped me."

"Did you see his face?" Olivia asked softly and Stephanie shook her head indicating she hadn't. "I would recognize his voice," she said. "He was wearing all black," she continued and the two detectives shared a glance. That was just like the others.

"Did... Did... Did he say anything?" Amanda quietly stuttered out, mentally berating herself for the tremble of her voice but Olivia just smiled gently, proud of her detective for feeling comfortable enough to speak. "He said I was just like the others." "He said we were all the same," she said.

"Just like the other attacks, and I'd bet they're all in a 5 mile radius of each other." "I'll be able to tell you for sure once I have a map and can pinpoint the location of each attack."

"I also want to check security cameras." "There are no bets he showed his face but it's a 50% chance he did," Amanda suddenly blurted out without taking a breath and her captain grinned slightly, knowing she wasn't done. "One in every 1000 crimes are solved by the help of security footage,"

she continued before Liv could stop her and Stephanie shot a questioning look at the brunette and Olivia knew immediately what she was asking.

"She's quite, smart," Olivia whispered and stephanie nodded in agreement before Amanda's rambling broke through once more. "It wouldn't surprise me if -" "Easy, Amanda," Olivia reminded gently, seeing her starting to discuss things not for stephanie's ears and the younger detective blushed before continuing to take notes.

"Sorry," she signed and Olivia just smiled, totally used to this after all the years of working together.

"Can you tell us the name of the coffee shop?" She asked and Stephanie nodded.

"It's The Daily Grind," she said and Amanda jotted it down on her pad. "T-thank you, for everything," she said quietly and Olivia nodded in agreement.

"Yes, thank you," she said. "We will follow up with more questions later, and I want you to know we will find who did this," she said and Stephanie smiled slightly as they left the room.

After arriving home that evening Amanda quietly went to the bedroom before shutting the door, immediately putting the brunette on guard. She knew this case was getting to her and with it being her first day back in the field it was expected.

It didn't stop her from worrying though. "Amanda, honey?" She said softly as she entered the room, where she found her curled up on her side of the bed.

"Mine," she said and Olivia nodded. "I know, sweetheart. "It's similar but I promise you're safe," she said softly. "Cuddles?" "Of course." "You can have all the cuddles you want, you know that," she said before getting changed and crawling into bed next to her.

"Mine," she repeated once she was cuddled against Olivia and the brunette sighed. "I know, sweetie but you're safe," she said gently once more and Amanda finally began to relax.

"Good?" She asked pointing to herself and Olivia smiled slightly. "Yeah, baby, you did good." "I'm so proud of you," she told her and smiled when she felt Amanda's breathing even out, signaling she was asleep.

The next afternoon Olivia exited her office to find Amanda going over security cameras and a map. "What have you found?" She asked gently and Amanda immediately began to explain while showing Olivia various points on the map.

A little while later Fin and Kat arrived back at the station and Fin had a bad feeling about things. He didn't know why though. "What did you guys find?" Fin asked and Olivia began to explain.

"All the victims visited the same coffee shop before their attacks," she said. "Amanda?" Kat asked, glancing at her fellow detective.

"Same coffee shop," she said and Kat rolled her eyes impatiently. "The captain already said that." "What did you find?" She repeated, this time motioning to the map.

"Same coffee shop," she said a little louder and Kat finally snapped. The lack of sleep was catching up with her and she knew Olivia would definitely not appreciate what she was about to do but she just couldn't take it right now. "That's all you've fucking found?" She yelled, making the blonde flinch before shooting a scared look at Fin and Olivia. "Map," she said quietly and the young officer once again raised her voice.

"What the fuck did you find?" "This doesn't make any sense," she continued yelling and finally Olivia had had enough.

"Kat, with me, now!" she growled leading the young woman into her office and shutting the door, resisting the urge she had to run over and hug Amanda when she heard her cries and Fin's attempts to calm her and have her show him what she had shown Olivia just a little while earlier.

"What the hell was that?" Olivia yelled, slamming her office door behind them and Kat immediately deflated, now realizing what she had done.

"captain I-" "Why would you talk to her like that, after knowing everything she's been through?" Olivia asked, her voice much softer than she expected and she just let out a sigh before responding.

"I know she can't help it but we were gone for 3 hours and all she can do is repeat what you have already said," she said softly and Olivia let out a sigh, knowing how she felt because she herself had felt that same way about her when she had first joined.

"She can't help it."

"You know she can't." "You know she's not like us," she said. "She's autistic, Kat," Olivia said and Kat just nodded. "I know." "I'm sorry, Olivia." "I know you guys are close, and I'm sorry if I've put you in an uncomfortable position" she continued and Olivia just smiled.

"Kat, she lives with me and she's my detective," she responded and the young officer chuckled lightly. "I except your apology but I'm not who you need to apologize to," she said and she nodded guiltily.

"She's actually pinpointed where each attack took place," she continued and Kat just stared, not knowing what to say.

"Son of a bitch!" She suddenly yelled and Olivia knew she had put it together.

"She was showing me the map," she suddenly realized, feeling more guilty by the second and her boss nodded. "That's what she was trying to say," she answered quietly.

"H-how do you and Fin do it though?" "How do you guys always know what she's trying to say by single words," she asked, not able to hold back anymore and needing to know to avoid this in the future.

"It took time, communication and a lot of patients to get to where we are," Olivia answered honestly and Kat let out a groan. "I'm sorry again," she said.

"I'm not the one you need to apologize to," Olivia said once more before Kat left the office.

"Amanda, can we talk?" Kat asked gently later on that evening before leaving the squad room and the blonde briefly made eye contact before looking away. "Yes."

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry." "I shouldn't have yelled at you," she said sencerely. "It's ok."

"No, it isn't," she said. "I spoke to Olivia and I realize I need to be patient with you," she continued.

"Yes," Amanda responded and Kat understood that was her way of agreeing and she smiled. "I better get Liv now," she suddenly blurted. "We leave at 6:30 every evening," she continued and Kat just looked at Fin who shook his head fondly as he watched his partner enter their captain's office.

"Liv are you-" "Olivia," she yelled, seeing her boss and the person who had taken care of her for the passed 6 months lying on the floor.

"Liv," she said as she realized she had just fainted. "Gonna help you," she whispered as she ran to the bathroom and wet a cloth to place on the brunette's face.

"Amanda?" "What's wrong?" Kat asked softly, seeing her suddenly leave Olivia's office. "Floor," she said quietly and Fin raised an eyebrow.

"You found Liv on the floor?" Fin asked gently. "Yes." "Fainted."

"Will be fine." "Gonna help her, me," she said beginning to ramble and become frightened and Fin immediately stepped in.

"I've got it," he said. "You and Kat come with me though," he said as they raced back into their captains office.

Olivia came to slowly. She knew she had fainted. Her main concern was which one of her detectives had found her.

"Liv." "Are you alright?" Fin asked and she looked up and saw his concerned gaze. She also saw Kat and Amanda nearby and her heart sank, immediately knowing who had found her.

"Yes, I just passed out," she said before carefully attempting to sit up with Fin's help. "Is Amanda ok?" She asked and Fin nodded.

"Liv," Amanda said as she knelt down next to her friend.

"Home?" She asked and Olivia shared a look with Fin. "Let's wait a minute," she said.

"Stay with you," she said and Olivia nodded reassuringly. "You will." "We are just gonna wait here until I'm feeling ok enough to drive," she explained.

Arriving home an hour later the two women quietly entered the apartment. "Tired," Amanda said quietly and Olivia nodded.

"Me too, baby but we need to eat first," she said softly. "Movie?" "Sure." "You go pick it while I make us some food," she said but was stopped by Amanda.

"I make food," she said before walking into the kitchen and Olivia rolled her eyes, knowing what Fin was up to.

Later on that night Olivia was awakened by quiet crying and she sat up. "Amanda?" She asked gently but the blonde just cried harder.

"What's wrong, honey?"

"What's wrong." "What's wrong." "Amanda bad." "Amanda will be hurt, can never help Olivia."

"Sweetheart, you help me all the time." "Amanda bad, Amanda bad."

"I promise you, you are not bad and I'll never hurt you, neither will Kat," she said as she held Amanda close, knowing where this was coming from. "Amanda not bad?""Never, sweetheart."

"Therapy." "What about it, baby," she asked gently.

"Therapy," she said motioning between the two of them and Olivia nodded in understanding.

"Ok, sweetheart," she said. "We can go together to your next appointment." .
