"A set back?" Olivia spoke after a bit of silence and her detective's therapist nodded sadly. "Yes, but I believe I can help her," she assured.

"Amanda, I just want you to listen." "You don't have to talk and I won't take your stim toy away from you," her therapist assured her before continuing.

"I know you have a lot of thoughts and emotions right now but I need you to know nothing will happen to Olivia," she said. "Olivia is just fine."

"Don't want her to go away like my master did," she whispered before retirning the stim toy to her mouth and the other two women exchanged a look a the blonde's words. "Amanda, he wasn't your master." "He was a bad man who held you hostage and did horrible things to you," she told her firmly.

"Amanda?" "Does that toy calm you?" Her therapist asked gently, having put something together but wanting to be sure she was right before saying anything to the brunette. "Yes." "Mine, from Liv," she said and Dr. Phillips nodded with a smile.

"It reminds her of you, and that's why she's not wanting to give it up," she told Olivia who nodded. "So what do we do?" She asked.

She let out a sigh before responding. "We have to let this run its course." "Something has obviously caused this but I'm sure she will come out of it," she told the brunette who just looked unsure.

"Trust me, Olivia." "She just wants to feel extra close to you right now," she said.

"I understand that, but her agression worries me," she revealed. "What do you mean by that?" She asked the brunette who took a deep breath before responding.

"If anyone tries to touch, hug or get her to go with them and I'm not there she lashes out." "She tried to bite our friend the other day when she was at the apartment after I had stepped out of the room and she's usually extremely comfortable with her hugging her," she said.

"Did your friend try to hug her?" She asked and Olivia nodded. "I see."

"Amanda?" "Can you tell us why you did that?" She asked but the blonde just shrugged and Olivia glanced at Dr. Phillips before doing something she knew would probably not go well.

Reaching over, the brunette carefully removed Amanda's stim toy from her mouth and it was just as she predicted. She immediately began trying to hit and bite her, shocking her therapist.

Hearing she had tried to lash out at others was somewhat expected, but she never thought she'd lash out at Olivia. "Amanda, no biting," Olivia said firmly, gently restraining her friend.

"I'll give it right back." "I just need you to talk to us, please sweetheart," she whispered and that term of endearment, coupled with Olivia's melodic voice seemed to do the trick.

She immediately buried her face in Olivia's neck, which she hadn't done in so long and finally began calming down.

Letting go of her friend, she gently returned the hug. Amanda, however; had other ideas and had apparently snapped out of whatever was going on and had climbed into the brunette's lap and had begun playing with her hair, enjoying the feel of the silky strands going through her fingers.

"Hey, honey," she said, getting choked up and sharing a look with her friends therapist. "Liv," she said, cuddling closer.

"Want you," she said. "I'm right here, but you can't hit and bite," she said gently. "Remember?" "That's not nice and we don'tdo that," she said and Amanda nodded.

"Mad," she said and the two women nodded. "We understand that, but next time you talk to someone," Dr. Phillips said gently. "I know."

"Sorry, Alex," she said and Olivia smiled. "We can see her later," she said. "Olivia I need to cut this short but if you need me you have my number," she said before squatting in front of the two.

"Amanda, if you need me and you aren't able to verbalize things you can always text me," she said.

"Thank you," she said and her therapist smiled warmly before looking at Olivia. "I'll see her next week," she said.

"Thank you so much," Olivia said great fully before leading Amanda out of the office and quietly saying, "let's go home, sweetheart."
