For the next few days Olivia and Amanda remained home from work, comfortable being at their apartment. Beth had visited on a number of occasions, even staying with Amanda when Olivia had to briefly go into the station. Her emotional state had slowly began to improve, and everyone around her hoped it would be all good things from now on.

Beth entered the apartment, softly closing the door and quietly entered the living room where she could see her daughter sleeping soundly beneath a blanket at the far end of the sofa, snoring softly while Olivia sat at the other end, reading through emails, The golden girls playing at a low volume on the television. "She looks so peaceful." She said, kneeling down an running her hand gently over her daughter's head, making the brunette look up from her laptop. "Liv." Amanda mumbled, leaning into the touch and her mother smiled, glad her daughter had someone like Olivia in her corner.

"I'm here, honey, and so is your mom." She said, rubbing her detective's back.

"Sorry. I hope I didn't come at a bad time." The elder Rollins apologized. "I was in the area."

"That's fine. I've just been working. She fell asleep a little while ago. We've been trying to get her to sleep in her own room sometimes." She explained and Beth raised an eyebrow at that statement.

"How's that going?" "Alright. She made it until about 2 this morning before I had to lay down with her." Olivia responded, smiling when Amanda cuddled into her and she carefully shifted her into her arms, pillowing Amanda's head on her shoulder.

"I'm just glad she has you. Jim wants to see her. I told him-" "No! No way in hell is that happening." The brunette yelled, cutting Beth off and startling the sleeping blonde against her who violently jerked awake and began scanning the room, a terrified expression coming over her face.

"Hey, baby." It's ok. You're safe, and so am I." Olivia whispered, sighing sadly when Amanda began shaking more violently, beads of sweat beginning to roll down her neck and face, breathing picking up speed. "A-are you mad?" She questioned in a child-like voice, making Olivia take a deep breath, glancing at Beth. "No, honey. I'm not mad. I overreacted." She explained, shooting an apologetic look at the elder woman who just shrugged, an understanding look crossing her face.

A while later, the brunette was stunned when Amanda began gathering her shoes and jacket. "Where are you going, sweetheart?" Olivia asked gently, placing a hand on Amanda's small shoulder. "Where are you going?" I want to go out." She explained, picking up her boss's keys.

"Ok. Where do you want to go, baby?" She questioned. "Where do you want to go, baby?" Restaurant. I want to go to a restaurant." Amanda answered, hands beginning to flap happily, smiling in delight when she heard the jingling of Olivia's keys, repeating the motion several times.

"Ok, we can do that." She said with a smile. "Susan told me to try to get out and get back on a schedule, so that's what I am going to do." She explained to the brunette, her willingness and comfort with this idea evident in the way she began rocking slightly back and forth, clinging to Olivia's shirt, eyes lighting up at the prospect of leaving their apartment.

1 week later

It was a relaxing Sunday morning at Amanda and Liv's apartment. The brunette had ended up being called in, and Amanda was currently relaxing at home when there was a nock at the door. Thinking it was Kim, Liv, her mom or Alex she immediately opened the door, terror gripping her insides and holding on tight when she saw who it was.

"Daddy." She breathed, her heart beginning to beat at an uncomfortable speed in her chest, knowing exactly why he was there.

She just hoped Olivia returned home soon. If not, she didn't know how she would get out of this.
