As Marty Jr., Doc, and Suzy were jetting off into the cloudy sky, Griff Tannen was biking by the McFly household after his successful escape from jail. He couldn't fathom where a bubble rocket like the one vanishing over his head had come from. And yet, it certainly couldn't be a trick of the light. Griff skidded his bike to a halt, directly in front of Marty Junior's brand-new truck. "Those dumb McFlys," Griff said, despite the fact that he had an obvious crush on Marlene. Why on Earth did Marty McFly Jr, get all the respect? Hopping into Marty Jr.'s truck, Griff was pleased to find Marty Junior had left the keys in the vehicle. There seemed to be very strange clocks inside, as well as a glowing Y-shaped box. Griff decided to take the box as a keepsake, when he heard police sirens wailing. Having no other choice, he made a run for it, the box still tightly clutched in his hands.

Marty Jr. was blindsided by a burst of sunlight after evacuating the cloudy skies of 2015. As he peered through the glass, a massive landscape that looked far more advanced then Hill Valley sprawled out below. The clock tower was gone, replaced by a huge digital read-out. There were no cars either, simply translucent shiny bubbles, akin to the Jaguar's current appearance, with occupants and luggage. And the occupants of each bubble appeared to be wearing some kind of paint on their faces, in addition to a lot of metallic armor. This was clearly a future time. The only question was when.
"What is this place, Doc?" Marty Junior asked, noticing Suzy was also gaping with amazement at the outside view.
"Hill Valley, California," Doc replied, smugly.
"No crap, Doc," Marty Jr. sighed. "I obviously meant what year!"
"Oh, October 26th, 2075," Doc said. "Be more specific, Junior,"
"Do you guys always have these conversations?" Suzy laughed.
"Yeah, well, that's one effect of time-travel," Junior replied, removing his color changing cap and stuffing it in his jacket pocket. "Too many tatters,"
"This is a time machine?" Suzy asked. "Wow! Can we see dinosaurs, cavemen, Egypt…"
"I'm afraid not, Suzy," Doc said, his voice reaching a very serious zone.
"Something to do with that grandkid comment you made earlier?" Suzy asked.
"Precisely," Doc said. "Your grandson, Marty McFly IV-"
"Oh, come on," Marty Jr. said. "Like I'd name a kid after myself, and he'd do the same,"
"I don't think you'd like it when you find out that you…" Doc quickly stopped himself, for fear of running the future. The sudden jerk resulting from landing cleared Suzy and Junior's heads of any further questions.
"Now, here, your grandson gets arrested," Doc said, whipping out a newspaper. "It's a situation that my father said was supposed to happen to you in another timeline, but due to your traveling back in time to 1955 and effectively replacing your father in a natural scheme of events, my father simply went to 2015 in order to stop your dad from losing his job, a task he failed at, but still wanted to do it anyway because of words he heard from Marlene in 1955, that it was his density-" Doc explained.
"Destiny," Marty Junior interrupted. "I get it, erased timeline, I'm arrested. And now that timeline's repeating 60 years later in a sense?"
"Precisely," Doc said. Suzy yawned.
"I'm terribly sorry for your discomfort, Susan," Doc said.
"No, Doc," Suzy defended herself. "The air's just very clean here."
"You can thank the reformed ozone layer," Doc said.
"Wait, Doc, you say Doc Sr. met Marlene in 1955? Does she ever come back?" Junior asked, hopefulness in his eyes.
"I can't say that. But there is another Marlene, your granddaughter, who Suzy will need to impersonate. She also gets in trouble, commits arson-" Doc said.
"How do we impersonate them, though?" Suzy asked, annoyed. "At least, I assume MJ is impersonating Marty IV?"
"Absolutely," Doc agreed. "Now, I have just the clothing for you." He took out his bag, producing two identical outfits. "Gender fashions are more clashing in 2075," Doc said, noticing Suzy's confused look. The outfits consisted of metal sun visors, one pink and one red, camouflage face paint, a pair of high-tech glasses, sandals that resembled rocket ships, and gender neutral metal suits that were considerably lamer-looking than the other clothing items. "Kids today," Marty Junior laughed. "Why all the metal"
"Robot protection," Doc replied. "Now, I want you two, as soon as you're done getting dressed, to go find the Café 15. It's not a café, more of an antique shop, so named because it is in the same location as historic cafes in Hill Valley,"
"So what does Marty IV do anyway?" Marty Jr. asked as he and Suzy struggled to fit into their suits.
"Steals a hoverboard from the antique store," Doc explains.
"How is that worthy of arrest?" Marty Jr. asked.
"Original timeline apparently had all lawyers abolished by your time, which is now not the case, at least won't be for another 30 years," Doc said. "Now, off you go."
"Why are we in 2075 anyway?" MJ asked grumpily, as he and Suzy walked towards Courthouse Square.
"Maybe to investigate the building potential of rubber?" Suzy asked, as she pushed the oddly cushy wall of the building they had landed the Jaguar next too. The wall bounced back.
"This future is incredible," Marty Jr. said.
"That's not the lot of it!" Suzy laughed, pointing towards the humongous DeLorean statue near the courthouse, which also appeared to be made of rubber.
"Is time-travel well-known here?" Marty Jr. asked.
"You probably should've figured that from your dad's silly bedtime stories," Suzy laughed.
"How did you know?' MJ asked, befuddled.
"Might have asked Marlene to show me a DVD," Suzy replied.
"I love you for that, you know?" Marty Jr. asked.
Before Suzy could speak, however, a strange noise came from the bushes.
"Should we go investigate?" MJ asked.
"We have a future to fix!" Suzy reminded him.
"The future can wait," Junior said, sprinting towards the bush. Suzy sighed and continued onward.
As Marty Junior fumbled around to see what was making the racket, he felt a hard piece of metal. It was some kind of robotic rat, he figured, as he examined it carefully. Then, out of the corner of his eye, Junior saw a beautiful IPad-like device, sitting proudly in a store window. As he got a closer look, he realized that it was more like an IPad book. It was at that very moment that Junior forgot he was in the year 2075. He pressed his thumb to the window, which actually worked. It would seen that buying items had become much simpler in the intervening 60 years. Caressing the IPad, he saw that it had a name: Gray's Computer Almanac, 2010-2060. Figuring a little-well, to be frank, 45 years worth of future info wasn't going to hurt, he stuffed it into the upper large pocket of the metal suit and made his way towards the café, which Suzy was still heading to.
