Pein sat in a seat where the crowd would be, watching them go through a full run. Konan and Sasori were out and about, getting pictures from all different kinds of angles. He sat and watched, listening to them play. It was the last song, the ballad to wrap it all up, and he had to admit the two were a force. Hidan and Nari had worked out wich parts to sing apart and together and moved through the song flawlessly. As the song wound down and the mock concert finally ended, Hidan stepped away from the mic with a smirk and bounce as he walked over Nari, hand high.

"That's what I'm fucking talking about!" He shouted and Nari laughed as she gave him the high five he wanted, stepping back from her own mic. "Yeah!" Hidan shouted before running to the edge of the stage, arms wide as he shouted to Pein. "How the fuck was that?"

"Good work!" Pein shouted down to them as he stood. "If you are comfortable with the performance, use the rest of the evening to rest."

"Fuck yeah!" Hidan shouted, his exclamation echoing through the stadium. Pein watched from his spot as the band began to wrap up, Nari setting her guitar down, Deidara collecting dropped drum sticks and the like. They chatted with each other, shared laughs and jokes. Nari had left her flannel jacket around her waist, not caring that her bruises on display for everyone to see. To her relief, no one said anything. No one asked questions. She had caught a few glances, but the boys seemed to know enough not to ask and for that she was grateful.

"So what's for dinner, yeah?" Deidara asked as he stepped down from the drum platform.

"Tobi wants pizza!" Tobi cheered as he bounced across the stage.

"You always want pizza." Itachi told him as he cracked his fingers, "We had pizza last night."

"I don't care what we eat." Nari said as she stretched, reaching her arms up over her head before relaxing again. "I just want big fat blunt." Hidan looked her over with a big grin and laughed. "Hey, you're the one who put it in my head. You gonna follow through?" She teased.

"I'm gonna get your ass so faded you won't even remember it." Hidan told her confidently, making her laugh. The tension around the group had lifted and they joked with ease, as though they had no cares in the world. "Wait, how the fuck aren't you hungry yet?"

"Yeah! Nari didn't eat lunch and we've be working so hard!" Tobi pointed out, looping his arm with hers.

"I never said I wasn't hungry." Nari told him. "I'm starving, I just don't know what to eat."

"I could go to town on a burger, yeah." Deidara said as they stepped into the hall.

"Do you know of any good burger places, Nari?" Itachi asked and she looked at him over her shoulder before thinking. She rolled the options around in her head as they walked down the hall before a grin stretched across her face and she pulled out her phone.

"I got this, guys."

About an hour later the band found themselves in the hotel room shared by Hidan and Itachi, freshly showered and changed into pajamas. A movie played in the background, long forgotten by the group. The smell of weed wafted out the open window into the warm Suna night. On the table, piles of greasy fries and wrappers were scattered, opened and unopened cans of soda scattered through out the mess.

Nari lay on the floor, her knees bent and a hand over her mouth as she sobbed with hysterical laughter. Deidara stood over her, making her watch a funny video on his phone. Tobi was leaning over off the edge of the bed, watching her try to contain her laughter. Itachi sat in a chair next to the table, chewing on some fries as he watched them terrorize the giggling girl. Hidan was sitting on his bed, back leaned against the headboard, taking a hit. His legs were stretched out and crossed at the ankles. He was uncharacteristically quiet. He had a goal in mind.

"You're killing me." Nari whined through her laughs and Deidara chuckled as he stepped away and paused the video, stepping aside.

"I gotta go show my man." Deidara snickered and Nari laughed.

"I don't think he's gonna get it, hun." Nari told him from the floor, watching him head to the door. Deidara didn't answer, just walked out the door, letting it close behind him as he went in search for his boyfriend. Nari propped herself up on her elbows and stretched out her legs and looked up at Tobi. "I don't think he's gonna get it." Tobi giggled at her and the two sat there, giggling at who knows what. "How was the burger?" Nari asked him.

"Tobi loved it!" He said excitedly.

"I love that burger place, I haven't been able to find anything like it since I left." Nari told him with a big grin.

"You know what sounds really good right now?" Tobi asked and Nari hummed, still grinning ear to ear. "Slurpees from the gas station."

"Oooh," Nari cooed, her eyes wide with eagerness. "Oooh, I want a green one."

"Tobi will get!" He shouted before rolling off the bed and hitting the floor with a thud. Nari laughed at him as he struggled to stand. "Tobi will get!" He repeated. The chair by the table creaked and Nari watched as Itachi stood and walked over, helping Tobi up.

"I'll join you." He said to Tobi before extending a hand to Nari who stared up at him in wonder. "Something wrong?" He asked, noticing her hesitation and wide eyed stare.

"You're so tall." She mumbled in wonder and the corners of his lips upturned in amusement before he bent down and helped her stand. Nari stumbled in her place and he helped her get stabilized before letting her go.

"Stay here," Itachi suggested to her, watching her sway and she just looked at him with a smile. "I don't think you will make it down the hall." He teased and she giggled again before nodding.

"You right." She shrugged, putting her hands up in surrender before turning to Hidan. "We'll finish the blunt for ya, right Hidan?"

"Hell, yeah." He said, lifting the blunt in cheers and she giggled before plopping down at the foot of his bed, one leg hanging off the edge.

"Will you two be alright?" Itachi asked Hidan. The silver haired singer nodded, passing Nari the blunt.

"Yeah, I got her." He assured the guitarist. Itachi nodded and followed Tobi out of the room, her giggles following them out into the hall until the door shut behind them.

"I feel like I'm in trouble." Nari giggled as she lifted the blunt to her lips and took a drag, raising her eyebrows at Hidan. He held her stare, a little surprised she was so perceptive. It wasn't intentional. They didn't get together and plan it, but he sure as hell wasn't going to let an opportunity like this to go to waist, and based off Itachi's decision to leave, Hidan figured he felt the same. "So, what's up?" Nari asked, passing the blunt back to him. Hidan shifted and bent his leg, resting his arm on his knee and sighing as he looked at her.

"You gonna feed me the same bullshit you fed Tobi?" Hidan asked, his eyes flicking to the bruises on her arms. Nari's stomach flipped and she stood from the bed. Hidan watched as she paced for a moment before going to the table and grabbing one of the containers of fries. Nari chewed on the fries, trying to ignore the coldness and the sudden anxiety with the conversation. "He's not as fucking dumb as he seems. And we're not fucking blind."

"I don't wanna talk about it." Nari said, bouncing her leg.

"That's fine." Hidan told her and took another drag. He let out a long exhale as Nari continued to eat cold fries from her favorite burger joint. Hidan stood and walked over to the table and grabbed a soda. He cracked it open and lifted it. Before taking a sip he looked at her, "Just don't think we're fucking stupid enough not to notice." Nari glared at him out of the corner of her eye. He was right and it hurt. She knew they weren't dumb, that it was clear someone had grabbed her roughly. Nari sniffled and set the container of fries down, beginning to pace once more. Hidan just returned to his spot on the bed, relaxing and waiting for her to speak. He could see it clear as day on her face. She had something to say, she wanted to say something and he would wait as long as it took.

"I don't…" Nari started but stopped herself. She turned on her heel and sat on the edge of the other bed, rubbing her hands on her legs nervously. "I don't want to say it. Out loud I mean." Hidan continued to watch her, staying silent and giving her the space to speak. "If I do.." Nari sniffled and looked up at the ceiling, trying to blink back tears that she was sick of crying. She had a humorless smile on her face for a moment as she thought over her words. "It makes it real. And maybe, if I can just ignore it long enough…" She hung her head, tears beginning to fall. Hidan sighed to himself quietly before setting down his drink and standing, moving over to the bed she sat on. Nari felt it dip as he sat next to her. "If I ignore it, maybe it'll go away, maybe it'll just end."

"Hate to break it to ya, but it doesn't fucking work like that." He told her, his tone quiet and almost gentle. Nari let out a dry laugh before rubbing the tears away.

"I know." She admitted. "But I don't know what to do." She continued to sniffle and try to calm herself and the two sat in silence for a moment before Hidan felt it was safe enough to begin to pry.

"Does he hit you?" Hidan asked. Nari snorted.

"No." She told him, "but some days I wish he did, ya know? It'd make it easier, I think."

"It's validation something's wrong." Hidan nodded, understanding the sentiment. "How'd you get those bruises?" He asked cautiously. Nari noticed that while he was close, he wasn't touching her. Hidan was usually one of the more physical members, but she noticed he was keeping a distance over the last couple of days. She missed the closeness she felt and leaned in a bit, letting their arms touch, giving her strength, reminding her she wasn't alone.

"He held on too tight." Nari said quietly and glanced up at him, "If you know what I mean." Hidan looked at her as the pieces began to slam together.

"He rapes you." Hidan said and Nari sat upright, looking at him in surprise.

"I wouldn't…." Nari trailed off. "I mean it's not…not really." Her head began to spin and she almost wished she hadn't smoked as much. Hidan sighed and ran a hand through his hair, thinking over his next few words carefully.

"Lemme guess," He began, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees and staring straight ahead at the window. "You don't feel like you can say no, like you owe him sex. When you do try to tell him to fuck off, the bastard doesn't take no for an answer." He paused and Nari's stomach sank like a rock. "Sex with him makes you fucking hate yourself. You try to fucking scrub your skin off after but you can't ever seem to wash it off." Hidan looked at her, gauging her reaction. "You're not the only one who's gone through this." He told her after seeing her shocked and understanding expression. She was picking up what he was laying down.

"You…" Nari started, her voice barely above a whisper. She paused and sighed, "You, too?"

"Heh, yeah." Hidan told her quietly before looking ahead again and straightening up. "You gotta decide for yourself when it stops. And if he doesn't take no for an answer," Hidan gave her a devilish grin, making her smile, "then you fucking call us, got it?" Nari nodded and smiled.

"Thank you, Hidan." She told him quietly. "I mean it. Thank you." Hidan looked at her, a lazy half smile on his face. He slowly raised a hand and rested it on her head, messing up her hair and making her laugh a bit.

"Sure thing, kid."
