*Taylor showered thinking of her mom and wished she was here for today. Taylor washed her hair, rinsed her hair and hopped out hearing something. She wrapped her hair and herself in the towel and walked to the bedroom*
Eric: Happy birthday my love…*Taylor smiled. She looked over at her nightstand and saw roses*
Taylor: Thank you…*He stood up*...Why are you here?...*He took off his jacket and she swallowed the lump in her throat*
Eric: It's…*He took off his shirt, he saw her eyes turn red and kissed her*...Your…*He kissed her again*...Birthday. I am taking you to work. Stefan said he was busy with Damon? Something about Elena…I however. Have a very hard and long birthday present….*He removed her towel*
Taylor: Eric.
Eric: Happy birthday lover…*He kissed her and Taylor unbuttoned his jeans. Eric vamp sped her to the bed, removing the towel from her head and smelled her hair*...Mmmm.
Taylor: I have work in an hour. My boss is gonna rip me a new one if I am late.
Eric: He won't mind. It is your birthday…*He entered her and she moaned*...He will give all the special treatment that you need…*Taylor smiled and he kissed her. Caroline had planned a surprise party for Taylor at Fang. Eric had told Caroline he would bring Taylor to Fang, of course he had to give her his birthday present. How could Taylor refuse? Eric kissed her and Taylor laid on him*
Taylor: I'm late….*His heart dropped*
Eric: What?
Taylor: For…Work?...*She laughed*...I am not pregnant. Chill out…*She laughed again and got up to get dressed*...I have a bad feeling about tonight?
Eric: I will be with you all night. Don't worry…*She got ready and left with him. Taylor held his hand the whole way there. Eric became quiet as he thought about if Stefan was asking her the big question tonight*
Taylor: You okay love?
Eric: Of course…*Taylor heard the music and people. Eric opened the door for her and she looked up as everyone yelled "SURPRISE". Taylor smiled and looked at Eric*
Taylor: You knew?
Eric: Happy birthday. Enjoy my love…*He kissed her cheek*
Eve: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTER!
Kelly: She is drunk already. I tried to talk to Randy…
Taylor: It's fine. You are here.
John: Happy birthday.
Taylor: JOHN!...*They hugged and she teared up*
John: No tears. Let's drink…*They partied. Stefan and her danced. She laughed and felt like her old self. Eric watched and felt happy that she was happy*
Trish: Okay but how is everything?
Taylor: Really good.
Ashley: You sure? You look like you have had a pinch of pain all night.
Taylor: Nights like this. Moments, memories like this. Makes me wish my mom was here.
Caroline: She is…*Taylor hugged Caroline*

Caroline: Thank your maker. He allowed all of this …*Taylor looked at Eric and he nodded for her to follow him. She walked off and Caroline walked over to Elena and Stefan*
Trish: Taylor is so in love with him.
Eve: Oh and he is in love with her.
Eric: You okay?...*He sat on the couch and she sat next to him*
Taylor: Yeah…*He looked in her eyes and she rubbed his thigh*...What?
Eric: I have done well…*She smiles and hugs him*...I am so proud of you and how much you have grown. I want you to know that I love you and I will always be by your side love…*She teared up*
Taylor whispered: Eric….*He caressed her face*
Eric: No crying. It's your birthday.
Taylor: Thank you for everything. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, Eric. I love you.
Eric: And I love you….I. Uhh…I got you something.
Taylor: You didn't have to. Buuttt? What is it?...*He walked to his desk and pulled out a box. Her heart dropped as he sat back down next to her. He opened it and she saw a necklace, she thought it was a ring and would have said yes in a heartbeat. It was a Tiffany necklace. It was a silver chain heart necklace. He figures since he has seen her wear so many belt chains that she would love this. Eric got the words "Always and Forever" on the front of the heart and in the back said "E". She cried at it and then he put it on her. The silver was safe for vampires and she touched the heart once he got it on her*...Eric…I love this..*He smiled and kissed her. They kissed deeply, Taylor slowly straddled him and Eric popped his fangs. Taylor licked them and he growled, Taylor popped hers…Kelly walked in*
Kelly: Taylor!...*Eric groaned in annoyance and Taylor slid off*...St-...*Taylor ran and put her finger to Kelly's lips*
Taylor: Hush…*Kelly's eyes glowed and she sighed. Kelly then eyed the necklace and looked at Eric as he was adjusting himself. Kelly nodded and Taylor walked out*
Kelly: Do not hurt her again and get rid of you know who before this explodes in her face…*She walked out and slammed the door*
Stefan: I have a surprise…*He kissed her and saw the necklace*...Eric?
Taylor: Yeah…He always knows how to make me cry…*Stefan smiled*
Stefan: Can I have everyone's attention?…*Eric was standing in the doorway as he knew what was about to happen. That's when he heard cars pull up outside of Fang. He looked around and everyone was here and no one else was coming. He closed the place due to her birthday. Eric walked to her family and whispered. Taylor saw them walk in his office and the door busted open*
Derek: I didn't get an invite to my daughter's party…*Taylor rolled her eyes*
Taylor: Just when things were good.
Stefan: Leave. Now.
Silas: Give me the girl and we will be gone.
Pam: Not gonna happen…*Tyler grabbed Taylor*
Tyler: Back door? I have a plan. I need Kelly though.
Taylor: Tyler?
Tyler: I will make sure nothing happens to her…*Taylor sighed*
Taylor: In the back…*Tyler ran to get Kelly and Taylor saw them sneak out the back*
Silas: Fine. If you want to play it that way…*He did the vampire spell and they fell on their knees screaming. Derek walked and grabbed Taylor*
Stefan: N…NO!...*They heard howling and walked out front. Derek stopped walking when he saw the two wolves. Kelly went after Derek and bit him. Tyler ran after Silas and Silas whipped him away with the wind. Derek let go of Taylor, holding his wolf bite and Kelly changing back*
Kelly: Have a nice time dying dad.
Silas: We will be back!...*He vanished them and Stefan ran to Taylor*
Elena: Are you okay?...*Caroline ran for Tyler*
Taylor: I'm fine. Yeah.
Bonnie: They knew they would fail?
Pam: They are planning something….*Taylor sighed and she saw John and Eve, then ran over*
Taylor: Are you okay? You aren't hurt are you?
John: No..All good…*Taylor hugged them*...Kelly okay?
Kelly: I'm great…*After everyone settled they headed home. They didn't know whether they would try again and Taylor didn't want her family in danger again. Taylor got her sisters and brother home safe. Stefan and her made love. Taylor couldn't sleep again and it was only three so she called Eric. They talked and talked until dawn came and pulled him away. Taylor cleaned, trying to distract her mind but knew she should sleep. She slept for a little and felt better. On her way to grab blood, there was a knock at the door. Stefan walked down and grabbed, Taylor walked in with blood*
Stefan: The hell are you two doing here?
Taylor: I thought you hated her?...*Taylor saw Savannah's tattoo*...You didn't?
Savannah: I did but the red hair had to go.
Katherine: May we?...*Stefan moved to side and sat next to Taylor*
Taylor: What now?
Katherine: As you know…Silas wants one of you dead. More like…He wants Stefan dead. You are his doppelganger…*Taylor looked at Stefan and grabbed his hand*
Savannah: Just give over to him.
Taylor: He got his cure. So you and him could reach the other side together? Why does he need us…Still?
Katherine: He wants you…For protection. What you are. People would pay good money for you and he wants to make sure the doppelganger line is over by…Well. Making sure Stefan dies with him.
Stefan: He doesn't touch her.
Savannah: He thought you might say that. He has gotten in touch with some folks…Willa ring a bell…*Taylor growled and Savannah laughed*...She was very willing to kill you or Eric. As well as her father.
Katherine: Think on it but not long. Willa is ready to rip out your heart…*They stood up and walked out*
Taylor: What kind of shit is this?
Stefan: I have no idea…Let's go fill in Damon and Elena. Then we can call or go to Eric…*Taylor nodded and he caressed her face*...I won't let them have you.
Taylor: Not me I'm worried about…*Stefan kissed her*
Stefan: I love you.
Taylor: I love you…*They walked to his car and he drove off. Bill had called a meeting at Eric's bar tomorrow night about Silas and Savannah. Things were getting out of control and he had to keep them contained with being king. Eric told Taylor to stay home tonight and he would see her Fang tomorrow. Eric said he had people watching her family until this blew over. John was staying in town until it blew over. Which was nice because Taylor and her siblings got to hang out more than usual. Randy still wasn't talking to Taylor…Which now she understood the whole vamp against wolf thing. It was the next night, Taylor and Stefan were on their way to Fang. Eric kept texting Pam for her get here already*
Pam: Hello? Elena, you have called like six times. You do know I was asleep.
Katherine: Hurry. Savannah and Katherine have us trapped. We…We can't get to Eric's.
Pam: Alright. Where are you?
Savannah: At the house.
Pam: Stay there. Me and Tara are coming…*They ran off and there was no one there*
Tara: Fuck…*Pam sighs*
Pam: Bitches.
Katherine: That was way too easy. I mean…Come on.
Tara: The fuck do you want?
Savannah: A distraction…*As Stefan and Taylor were walking inside. Taylor got shot with an arrow*
Stefan: Taylor!...*Eric and Bill ran out*
Jess: I got the back..*She ran out back*
Damon: There are more…*Stefan pulled the arrow out and Taylor groaned in pain*
Elena: IT'S A TRAP!
Derek: Two points for you…*Eric ran up and grabbed his heart*
Eric: She will always be my daughter…*Eric pulled Derek's heart out and Taylor looked away*
Willa: He was dead weight…*Taylor ran to the governor and grabbed his throat*...NO!...*Damon held Willa back*
Taylor: My maker has made a new blood drink. That'll save the whole vampire race. Looks like your investors saw the bigger picture…Where the money is.
Governor: How did he?
Taylor: We vampires. Always coming out on the winning side…*She bit down and heard Willa scream*
Bill: DO NOT KILL HIM!...*Taylor ripped his head off and Eric smiled*
Taylor: Your turn…*Willa heard wolves and ran off*
Jess: I got the guys around back. What was that?
Bill: They knew…*Pam and Tara ran up*
Eric: Where were you!?
Pam: Savannah and Katherine. Silas knew they would die. He had to get rid of the dead weight.
Tara: He's going after your family.
Taylor: SHIT! It was a fucking distraction. They knew about the meeting and sent them here…*She calls her sisters and brother…No answer*...FUCK!
Eric: Taylor. We will get them.
Taylor: This is all your fault!
Bill: Mine?...*Taylor took a step to Bill and Eric held her back*
Taylor: If you would have been a fucking king for once and stepped up! Instead you sat behind your fucking desk!...*Her eyes went red*
Bill: May I remind you that I am your king! That I saved your maker from meeting the sun…Watch your tone!
Taylor: Fuck you!
Eric: Lugna ner dig! (Calm down). Ta en promenad (Take a walk)...*Taylor glared at him and walked off. Stefan followed*
Bill: Is this what has been happening?
Pam: You should know how Savannah is.
Bill: What the fuck Eric!
Eric: Me?...*Taylor ran back up and grabbed Bill's throat*...Taylor!
Taylor: If anything happens to my family. I kill you myself…True death for me or not. You will pay for my family.
Jess: Taylor?...*Eric grabbed Taylor and pushed her inside. Stefan heard them arguing in Swedish*
Elena: She is scared.
Bill: Scared or not. I am still her king and she will respect me. She acts just like her fucking maker…*Pam raise an eyebrow*...Jessica…*Jess sighed and walked away with Bill*
Eric: You think and act first! He could have killed you! Better yet he could sign off to have you killed!
Taylor: He could have stopped Silas! All this time! Now my family is suffering again because of him!
Eric: You are no help to them dead…*Taylor rolled her eyes and sighed*
Stefan: He is right.
Eric: You will stay in Shreveport tonight. You are not to go home.
Taylor: But!
Eric: As your maker I command you to stay in Shreveport…Taylor if he has your family, he will come after you to lure you in…*Taylor nodded and sighed*...Stefan, take her to my house or a hotel. Do not let her leave your side.
Taylor: I don't need a babysitter.
Eric: Yes. Yes you do. Now go…*Taylor rolled her eyes and stormed off*...Take care of her…*Stefan nodded and walked off…It was the next day. Taylor called Klaus throughout the day to see if he could help and he wasn't answering. She had a bad feeling that something was wrong. Damon called Stefan and told him Elena got taken. Taylor was wondering why they took Elena, she had nothing to do with it. Unless Katherine was after her as usual. Taylor was on her way to Fang. She figured if she can't leave Shreveport then she might as well work. She was driving and thinking where her family could be when the car turned off*
Taylor: The hell?...*She looked up, saw Silas, ran to him and he was gone*...Silas! Stop fucking around!
Eric: You're late.
Savannah: Eric…*Eric looked over and sighed*
Eric: Get out.
Savannah: Don't you want to know why I am here. In your…Place of business? It's busy.
Eric: What?...*Savannah walked up and sat next to him on stage*
Savannah: We know what she is…*Eric looked at her*...How do you think she will feel when we tell her? Not only that but tell her…You knew, Stefan knows…Klaus knows…*Eric grabbed her throat and she smiled*
Eric: You touch her….*Eric felt Taylor and then felt nothing. Savannah saw panic in his eyes*...Where is she?
Savannah: Silas has her now. She won't know. She will die and know that she could have had your babies. How would you feel knowing she is dead and you never got to breed with her? The love of your life…Gone…*Eric grabbed tighter and Savannah smiled*...Have a wonderful night Mr. Northman.
Eric: You aren't going anywhere.
Savannah: Right. I must say. She is lucky. Stefan…You…You think he sees it? Or is she that much of a whore?...*Eric growled and she burned him with her touch. He groaned in pain and Pam ran over*...I hear it is horrible to lose a child…Chow…*She vanished and Pam helped Eric*
Pam: What was that?
Eric: They have her…*Pam widen her eyes*
Pam: He'll kill her.
Eric: You don't think I know that Pam!...*Pam sighed, he walked to office and called Stefan*
Stefan: I know. I know. He has Elena too.
Eric: I'm coming back to the house and I will find her with you.
Stefan: Dawn is in three hours…*Pam walked in*
Pam: Eric. Let Stefan go. Tomorrow night you can look for her first thing.
Eric: Pamela.
Pam: Eric. She will freak out if anything happens to you. Let Stefan go and you can go as soon as nightfall hits. If you can't feel her then it's no good. I want my sister back more than anything but what happens when she comes back and you're dead.
Stefan: If I find anything. I will call you…*He hung up and Eric sighed*
I hope you are liking this book. I know it's not the best and book one was probably a whole lot better. I promise you are almost done until the third book.
