Hi there this is Mauk10 back with another chapter sorry for the delay I had caught covid and had some family issues pop up, I'm back though and here comes the next chapter.

Gringotts Bank Diagon Alley

Upon return to the bank Harry asked Ripclaw if there was a way for him to exchange wizard money for muggle money? Ripclaw laughed "Well Harry your parents actually had a Gringotts account set up through a muggle bank to manage there more mundane business. I could get a new card to you and ensure the old cards are cancelled. They should have been deactivated upon your parents death, but I will ensure it was done." Harry was happy to hear this and watched as Ripclaw went to his desk filled out some papers threw a few in a chute behind his desk. Walking back to Harry Ripclaw told Harry that there should be a book in his new homes that describes how to access the wards and make changes to the homes security. A few moments later a young goblin knocks on the door asking for Sir Ripclaw. Clutched in his hand is a bank card and some documents Ripclaw takes the items and dismisses the goblin looking through the documents he curses under his breath. Harry asks " What seems to be the matter?" Ripclaw then looks at harry and states it seems that the cards were never deactivated and several payments were made to someone named Vernon Dursley it appears that twice a year a solid amount of money was transferred ever since the year of your parents passing. I will make an inquiry as to how this happened and get things set to reclaim the money for it was a fraudulent use of the account." Harry took a moment to digest the information giving Ripclaw his thanks. Ripclaw gives Harry the card and advises him to go home and get some rest.

July 28th 1992

Harry awoke to his stomach growling sitting up in bed and accidently knocking the book he had been reading last night off the bed. Harry got up went to the kitchen opened the cupboard to find it empty he then checked the fridge with no more luck. Well I guess I need to go to Ottery St. Catchpole to get some groceries and I guess ill get some clothes while I'm out too. Getting dressed in the best muggle clothes he has Harry got ready bringing an enchanted bag with him to hall his purchases and ensuring his wand was tucked out of sight. Heading north in the direction of town based off what he read in his book last night.

Harry arrived in the Hamlet of Ottery St. Catchpole hours latter and considerably hungry walking in town he decided to find something to eat. Looking around Harry eventually found a nice small restaurant that was open he went inside and place an order for fish n chips. After paying and receiving his food he found a table and sat down to eat his food enjoying a wonderful meal. Harry left once he finished and accidently bumped into a young girl carrying a basket. The girl falls and a few apples fall from the basket. Harry profusely apologized to the girl while helping pick up the fallen fruit. once the fruit is back in the basket he apologizes once more and introduces himself as Harry the girl says " its okay these things happen and my name is Ginny." Harry then offers to carry the Ginny's basket for her and asks where she is going. Ginny replies " I'm taking these to the store to sell them my family owns an orchard nearby." " That's really cool well I'll carry you basket there I'm heading that way anyway." Ginny just starts walking with Harry an says " I've not seen you around before did you just move here." " Yes actually I did just move here and I'm going to the store to pick up a few things" said Harry. The two walked together in piece to the local store and Ginny sold the apples. Harry began to walk away to start shoping and Ginny spoke up " would you mind if I tagged along while you shop?". " Sure " Harry said hopeful that he might be making his first friend.

Harry starts first with clothes shopping and picks out several outfits that fit him well and a new pair of trainers. Ginny helped with telling harry what she thought looked good on him. Once harry had enough clothes he began to gather his groceries meats, salt, seasonings, potatoes, vegetables, and fruits. Harry then saw a bike that would be nice to have especially with how far the village is from home and decides to get it. Once Harry begins to checkout Ginny says, "you sure have a lot to take home do you need help?" Harry says no not really I can get it I'll see you later. Harry then dips between a couple shops and starts to pack his purchases into his bag and gets ready to head home on his bike. Harry then sees Ginny come out of a building nearby and they lock eyes Harry is now extremely nervous because he knows she will be suspicious of him no longer having most of his purchases. Ginny then yells to Harry hey, " follow me I'd like to talk for a minute." Ginny then leads Harry out of town to a nice little secluded area. "Your a wizard!" ,was the first thing out of her mouth, "wow we have a new magical family in the area, I'm Ginevera Weasley Ill have to talk to my parents and see if you can come to the house." "Well would you like to come visit my home then", asks Harry. Ginny looks at Harry Super exited and nods her head yes vigorously. "Well hop on then" says Harry." Ginny hops on the back where the bars come out on the back tire. Harry then takes off towards his new home

As they approach the cottage Ginny says, "wait that's the old Potter cottage mum showed us all this place a couple years ago on our way over to the Lovegood's." " Wait no, it cant be your Harry Potter." Ginny spits out unceremoniously. Harry just stops the bike and says "yep what's the big deal." "What's the big deal your famous you defeated Vol.. erm He Who Must Not Be Named after he killed your parents and you were just a baby.", shouts Ginny. " Whoa hold it what i have not defeated anyone and my parents died in a car crash my mothers sister told me that much.", Harry said beginning to get confused. "No Harry they were murdered by a Dark Wizard that the world is still afraid to call by his name and you somehow though no one can explain it stopped him when he tried to kill you.", retorted Ginny, "and to prove it you have a scar on your forehead you do have it right I haven't seen it." Harry then says, "What how do you know that I keep it covered with my hair." "I'm sorry Harry but its true I've read several books about you and I know half the stuff in it is all made up but there are a few facts that are consistent throughout them all.", says Ginny Somberly "I can't believe it I've been lied to my entire life about this well I guess come on in for a few. I need to put my stuff up."

Inside the house henry store the perishable in the refrigerator which he noticed didn't seem cold, the potatoes and spices in the pantry and fruits in hanging baskets above the counter. Ginny looked around the house and said, "this is so cozy and nice you have a great house." "Thanks but I don't think the fridge works." replied Harry. "What you think the preservation charms went out?" Ginny said in shock. "Preservation charms what are those?" asks Harry. Ginny replies, " just a bit of magic that keeps food from spoiling." Harry rubs his chin and says "well that's handy. Hey Ginny how old are you?" Ginny smiles and says, " Well I'll be 11 in November but they are making an exception and letting me attend Hogwarts this year, I have a brother who is starting this year to his birthday is in January." "Cool I'll see you there." Harry says with a grin on his face. "Well I should be going if I stay any longer mother will start wondering where I've gotten off to." Ginny says before she leaves out the front door.

Harry having a lot on his mind decided to get to work studying his books for school maybe get a head start. as he goes in the library to the desk and pulls out his charms and transfiguration books and begins to read. During his reading he begins to try some of the spells to get some practice and finds that as long as he pays attention to the material and does the movements correctly he most of the time is successful. After several hours Harry realizes that he needs to start dinner and begins a stew on the stove. he then brings his books in the kitchen and continues studying while he waits for the stew to be ready. After he eats he marks his place in the books and begins to work on his potions the end of the night he made quite a bit of progress through his three texts although he could not brew potions at the moment for he did not have the time he was able to get the theory down pretty well.

The days following harry kept to the same structure studying eating practicing spells occasionally brewing potions. He began studying defense against the dark arts, herbology, and history of magic. Ginny would come over on occasion and they would talk hang out and play occasionally going into town to grab food together. They also studied together some and Ginny told Harry about the statute of secrecy and decree of restriction of underage sorcery. Harry informed her that his wand did not have the trace. They had much fun and bonded quite closely becoming close friends. Within a couple weeks Harry had already finished almost all of his subjects first year material. and decided to start to peruse and learn from the Potter library.

The 6th of August Ginny invited Harry over to The Burrough to meet her family and have dinner. Harry agreed saying, "if they all are as nice as you that he would love to go." That afternoon they made there way over and Harry was amazed at what he saw The Burrough was a very large house that seemed to be held together solely by magic. Ginny led him to the front door and Harry could already smell the food it smelled wonderful. As Ginny entered the house she called out to her mum, "Mum I'm here and I brought Harry." "Hello Harry dear how has your day been I hope you are hungry.", said Mrs. Weasley as she entered the dinning room. Throughout the evening Harry met all of the Weasleys except the two oldest he like all of them Ron was slightly annoying with his abysmal manners, but other than that he seemed alright and Harry thought that they could be friends. At the end of the evening Mr. Weasley offered that Harry could go to Kings cross with them he also offered to take Harry home after dinner. Harry gratefully accepted and thanked the Weasleys for a wonderful night.

A few days later Harry received an owl from Ripclaw that he would me him the next morning to go to the ministry for the hearing of Sirius Orion Black. Harry was supper excited and couldn't wait. He continued studying his books from the Potter library for they were truly fascinating. That night he ate showered and set out his best dress robes. However Harry had a hard time falling asleep and ended up reading into the late hours of the night.

The next morning he cooked breakfast, ate, freshened up, and then got dressed once he was finished he heard a knock on the door and heard Ripclaw speak, "Harry are you ready." Harry checked through the peephole and saw Ripclaw responding, "yes I am", while opening the door. "Good, we must be off you have floo powder correct your floo should be back connected to the system." Asked Ripclaw. "I believe its in the pot next to the fire" replied Harry. "Well lets be off."
