Empty plates of what used to be food surrounded the woman. Her gut was the size of a record-winning bubble. She enjoyed the taste of the food and would lick her fingers occasionally.
Near the counter, stood Max who was currently rolling his eyes. He moved closer to Mira, who was behind the counter and said, "Order more pickles. We will be out soon." Mirajane nodded at the request. Their food supply doubled due to the woman, but not many could find fault. She was eating for two now.
Sting was done with his food a while ago, but he stayed seated next to Natsu. She was eating to her heart's content, and he was enjoying the time spent near her. He looked up and smiled kindly at the cherry blossom girl. This was his Natsu-san. And he was for sure to cherish every moment with her, even the hiccups that come about when dealing with a rowdy woman.
"There's some ketchup on your chin," he said. He reached over and wiped the red sauce from her skin, and deposited it on a new napkin.
She nodded her head in gratitude in return for this, and said, "Thanks, Sting. You're the best." She was beaming with happiness and shifted her position on the chair that causing it to squeak.
There were some in the guild that watched the couple with mild interest. It wasn't anything new with their shows of affection. And they couldn't say much when she was with the child. The two deserved their time together. The worst anyone could say, was it was too cute that one could throw up.
"Such a couple~!" Mirajane grinned with her elbows on the counter, and head in her hands. She was waiting for the day of hearing of them moving in together and getting married. She can already imagine the dresses that would look the best on Natsu.
"I wonder what the child would look like," uttered Erza. She was currently eating her cake while sitting at the counter with Mira. There were only a couple of months left, so it was a hot topic in the guild. Some would ask to touch her stomach often to feel the kicking baby.
A thought entered Mira's mind. She could see the child having both their parent's hair colors, such as a blonde girl with pink highlights and a goofy grin to match her mother. Mira couldn't help but grin at her imagination of the child. She couldn't wait for either for the future of those two. Natsu spent many years saving the world even with the help of Sting. So maybe it was time for them to spend a few years at home with a growing family.
A little girl, who was sitting just a bit down from Natsu, stole glances at the couple. She crossed her fingers to refocus her eyes elsewhere. She can't keep looking at Natsu and her belly. She wanted to say something but felt too embarrassed to ask.
She jumped when her name was called.
"Wendy! What's wrong?"
It was Cana, who appeared at the end of the table with a barrel. She sat next to Wendy and patted her shoulder like an older sister.
"Uh. N-Nothing! Nothing at all!" she shrugged it away. It would be too embarrassing to ask her friend. She started chewing at her bottom lip and focused her attention away from Cana. It was in hopes that Cana got bored and walked away, yet she did not.
Cana found it a bit amusing. She wasn't sure the exact issue, but she could figure out what the subject was. She made Wendy move down the bench and closer to Natsu. "Natsu, stop pigging out. Wendy wants to say something."
Natsu wiped the crumbs away and drank some water to clear her mouth, then turned to Wendy. Wendy was pressing her index fingers together. Natsu took the lead then, "Go ahead and touch. That way he knows you when he comes out."
Cana took her seat on the other side and began drinking from the barrel. From Wendy's reaction, this wasn't what she wanted.
"Natsu… Where do babies come from?" Wendy finally got the words out.
"We went to bed together and he put his pen-" Natsu started, but Sting started coughing. Cana dropped her barrel down, and there came Lucy running over to smack Natsu's head.
Lucy shook her head, "You're not supposed to give that much information. You're going to scare Wendy." The blonde girl looked at Wendy, who was intently listening to each word. "So Wendy, when a mommy and daddy loves each oth-" Lucy got cut off.
"Our parents are dragons," Natsu piped up.
Lucy bit her thumb to not curse in front of Wendy, "So when the daddy dragon and mommy dragon loves each other so much that-" Lucy got interrupted again.
"He puts it in her," Cana tried to finish the childish tale with a wink. She took another drink. Isn't it better to get to the point than being around the bush?
"...and then mommy has to eat a lot to make the baby grow. Wait, Cana! Don't say that. It's about love, you know eagles and the fireplaces. And then it flies. Magic!" Lucy argued using a quick summary. She gestured her hands for the final point of her tale.
Natsu laughed, "Makes zero sense. We had sex. No eagles or fireplaces."
Sting looked at Natsu, pleading with her to hush. Why did she have to say stuff so shamelessly?
Lucy couldn't help but blush from hearing that word. A mix of anger and embarrassment swelled inside of her. "Natsu! She's thirteen!"
"And I was eleven? It was when I started growing boobs. I had to get my talk from Gildarts!" In the distance, they heard a sneeze from Gildarts. "Thanks so much for the talk," she said sarcastically.
Gildarts, only now listening due to hearing his name, glanced at the loud table, "What did I do?" It only took a moment for him to become disinterested again and start another barrel.
Natsu nodded. It was the truth, but she couldn't help but chuckle due to Lucy's reaction. "I told you. She's old enough."
Wendy glanced down and felt the weight of what Natsu said. She started growing when she was eleven, while Wendy had no development even with two years extra years.
Cana smiled at Wendy, "Don't worry. I was flat until I was fifteen."
Sting muttered under his breath. He tried to think so loudly that it would be impossible for him to listen to this conversation. Did they not realize a man was sitting right there? How is it possible for him to join in without looking like a pervert?
