That Line
A young man approached a young woman sitting under a tree and sewing. She looked very lovely in her pink kimono, with her hair framing her face. The boy - himself being a rather handsome one - slowed down a bit to appreciate the lovely sight.
"Hello!" she beamed up at him and his heart skipped a beat.
"Hey," he muttered and swallowed before taking a few deep breaths. This was his chance, with her being alone and with no one around to ruin things. He had prepared himself for this moment.
He knelt beside her and took her hand in his.
"Would you consider bearing my children?" Kohaku asked, just like he had rehearsed with his 'mentor'. Rin blinked at their joined hands before looking up to his face, frozen in anticipation, hope and uncertainty.
Behring a nearby bush Miroku collapsed silently to the ground with four lumps forming on his head. Kagome, Sango and Inuyasha counted them immediately and looked up to see Lord Sesshomaru looming over them, his hand still outstretched.
"Hm," the daiyoukai said proudly.
"Ow," Miroku rubbed his head. "Why are you so violent, guys?"
"Why? You taught my little brother that line!" Sango hissed. "Now she'll never..."
"Okay," they all heard the sweet voice of the girl from under the tree.
"See? It worked!" Miroku grinned up at the others just to gulp and leap behind his hanyou friend when he saw the look on the daiyoukai's face.
"Remember," Inuyasha shrugged when Sesshomaru glared at and behind him. "Maim, but don't break anything Sango might want to use."
Miroku glanced to the two women standing to the side, both with their arms crossed, then he started to run.
He was so misunderstood. And his method worked, he didn't understand why now he had an irate daiyoukai tailing him with a dark intent.
