How Do You Deal? - Higurashi

The Gray Hood appeared in the open door to Souta's room, the question ha was asking the whole crew, dying on his lips as he peered inside.

"Ahaha! I am Inuyasha the Mighty Hanyou! And I have a karate hand!" yelled a voice. There was movement that helped to focus the attention of the viewer on a figure over the desk.

"Kukuku, I Naraku, fear not your karate hand!" called a voice. Another figure moved. It was colored in with crayons and supported by a lollipop stick, just like the first one. A handful of other 'characters' lay scattered the desk.

"You fight me!" Souta did his best Inuyasha impression as he engaged his paper figures into a deadly battle over his desktop.

The Gray Hood smiled and silently walked away. He found Grandpa praying under the Sacred Tree and decided not to disturb him. He peered into Kagome's room, just to find it empty.

Finally, he wandered into Mrs. Higurashi's room.

"Kamehameha!" yelled a voice when the interviewer entered the room. He blinked and looked inside, just to see the matriarch of the household laying in bed, a laptop on her nightstand, a bowl of popcorn in her lap. She paused the anime, the screen displaying a certain Saian using a certain attack.

"Hello there," she smiled. "Wanna watch anime with me?"

"Um, I don't really have time for anime, I'm afraid. Our viewers want to know what all of you do during the lock down, to make sure you all stay safe and stuff."

"Oh, we at the shrine are doing good. The shrine is closed for the visits and Kagome isn't here," the woman shrugged. When she saw the Gray Hood turn to leave, she raised a hand. "Wait!"

"Yes?"

"Can you recommend me some anime? I already saw One Piece till the last arc, My Hero Academia,Sailor Moon, Ranma 1/2, Bleach, both Fullmetal Alchemist series, Naruto and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime."

"Uh... Avatar. It's not really...?"

"I saw it too," she cut him off.

"Well, maybe Maid Sama...?" the Gray Hood tried again.

"That was a good watch," she smiled fondly.

"So, maybe..." the interviewer frowned, deep in thought. "One Punch Man?"

"I don't think I've seen this one, thanks." the woman smiled radiantly. When the Gray Hood closed the door he could hear the resumed sounds of a full-blown Saian battle.
