How Do You Deal? - Sango
The sky was wast and littered with fluffy clouds. A gentle breeze carried the scent of waking vegetation and one couldn't help themselves to inhale deeply.
That was what the interviewer did when he found himself soaring through the sky over feudal Japan.
"Hand to yourself and state your business," came a bit muffled order and the Gray Hood nodded vigorously as he made sure his hands held fistfuls of the thick fur of the nekomata he was straddling.
The woman was still glaring at him over her shoulder, the lower part of her face covered by a mask She wore a dark outfit and gloves, sitting on top of Kirara as the nekomata flew through the air, bags hanging from her flanks.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just an interviewer that visits the heroes of this story to ask how they fare during the pandemic," he explained hurriedly. There was no way he was going to try Sango's patience, especially so high above the ground. "So, I came to you now, Sango. How do you deal?"
"Ah. So, yeah," the woman looked down and to the left, gesturing for Kirara to fly towards a small collection of huts near a lake. "Since Kohaku and I are the only two people who canonically have masks, we decided to try and help everyone," she said. "You know, Kohaku borrowed Ah-Un and we deliver packs with supplies."
"That's so noble of you." the Gray Hood praised, watching her untie one of the bags and letting it fall in the center of a small village.
"Well, it was that or staying with Miroku and his drunk old friends."
"Ah, yes, I've been there," the interviewer nodded.
Ladies Kaede and Kikyou are preparing the packs and working on the cure while we distribute them. They are pretty standard, as supplies go," she shrugged. "Shippou helped us for a bit, but then he ditched us in favor of going to have a studying camp with other kitsune."
"That;s good. So, where are Inuyasha and Kagome?"
"Dunno. Last time I saw them, they were bickering on the outskirts of the forest," the woman shrugged.
"I understand," the interviewer smiled and looked towards the audience. "As you can see, our youkai slayers are doing their best to help people in need. And they're doing a great job!"
