A Simple Flower
"Here, it's for you, Lord Sesshomaru.."
Golden eyes stopped looking to the distance and zeroed in on a small wild flower held by a tiny hand of his human ward. His expression didn't change when the world held its breath, waiting for the daiyoukai's reaction.
'A flower! From Rin!' passed through Sesshomaru's head, the voice nothing like the low monotone timbre everyone knew and despised. It was hyped and high in pitch, barely making pauses between words.
'A flower from Rin! It is a gift from Rin! It means that she will be always loyal and loving and I will be watching over her as she grows up! And it means she will always be happy to see me visit her and bring gifts! And when she's old enough I will marry her and have babies with her and it will be in no way creepy and nothing like grooming! And the child I am to watch over as she grows to be a woman will birth me twin hanyou babies and I will be perfectly fine with that for some reason! And one of the twins will fall into Kagome's well and end up being raised by her younger brother before she comes back and have her own adventure in this time, around the same time Japan will be going through the end of the Warring States Era and there will be a major unrest in the land! Yay!'
"Hm," the daiyoukai brushed these silly thoughts aside and reached to accept the flower. 44
Truly, he mused, great minds sometimes were granted the most bizarre of thoughts.
