Lizzie's POV
"WELCOME!" Harry called out pushing Ben towards the plank as an excited buzz went through the crew as the traitors walked closer.
"FINALLY!" Uma added with a small laugh as we stopped near our side of the ramp seeing Mal stop on the other side, while Jay, Carlos, Evie and another girl we'd never saw before was on the deck above glaring daggers at us, I don't know who the girl was but judging by her clothes she was from Auradon...meaning they blabbed, I glared towards Mal crossing my arms over my chest.

"Huh let's get this party started, we swear were cold hearted there's no negotiation, were not here for debating, you need some motivation just look at Ben's face then ask yourself how long you think we'll remain patient" Uma and I sang as I turned to see Harry push Ben further along the plank when Mal looked over. "We'll thrown him overboard and let him swim with killer sharks, you either hand over the ward or he'll be ripped apart"we finished adding a ripping motion for flare.
"Let's all just be smart or though for you's that must be hard you'll get your wand no one has to come to any harm, don't try to intimidate your bark is much worse than your bite, whose the baddest of them all I guess were finding out tonight" Mal sang back.
"Let's go bring it on better give us what we want, it's the wand for the crown if you don't it's going down"the entire crew sang out.
"Let's go make your move, peace or war it's up to you give him up and do it now if you don't it's going down" Mal and the others sang and I smirked as this was gonna be sweet, Evie and Jay jumped down to the lower deck while Carlos and the Auradon girl came over standing behind Mal.
"We want the wand or else the King is gone, your time is running out"we sang back and I smirked seeing Harry dangle his pocket watch in front of Ben's face. "You should really watch your mouth"
"Let's go pound for pound were prepared to stand our ground, put your swords up, put 'em up it's going down" the others sang making a motion of raising fake swords while us pirates drew our real swords and started hitting them on the deck making a variety to clinging sounds which was music to my ears.
"Oh...oh...oh make the trade, oh...oh...oh or walk the plank, oh...oh...oh make the trade, oh...oh...oh or walk the plank"we sang back dancing around still clanging our swords before Uma and I walked back onto the gangplank to face Mal again seeing them all now standing together seemingly to be deliberating amongst each other before Mal turned back towards us.
"Ok look, this is not a conversation it's a do-or-die situation, if you don't give me back the king I'll have no hesitation I'll serve you right here and I don't need a reservation that way your whole pirate crew can have a demonstration" she made air quotes as she said pirate crew. "Release him now, and we can go our separate ways unless you wanna deal with me and the VKs" Mal sang and I scoffed.
"So that's your big speech, huh an empty ultimatum?"I sang smirking at her as Harry came up behind us.
"All it takes is one swing and I'll humiliate him, matter of fact make one wrong move and I'll debilitate him and if he even starts to slip I'll eliminate him, all it takes is one long look and I'll-"Harry sang and I rolled my eyes grabbing his hook and pulled him back.
"Harry we get it...chill" I called out stopping him.
"Let's go, bring it on better give us what we want it's the wand for the crown if you don't, it's going down"we sang as Harry went back over to Ben ready to push him in at a flick of the wrist.
"Let's go, make your move peace or war it's up to you give him up and do it now if you don't, it's going down" Mal and the others sang back.
"We want the wand or else the king is gone your time is running out you should really watch your mouth"we sang making a clock with our swords imitating time running out.
"Let's go, pound for pound we're prepared to stand our ground put your swords up, put 'em up, it's going down" they sang back and Carlos handed Mal the wand.
"Hey" Ben called out making everything stop as we looked over at him. "We don't have to choose, we don't have to light the fuse, Mal whatever you do it's gonna be a lose-lose there's gotta be a better way" he sang looking at Mal before he turned to Uma and I. "Uma, Lizzie, I promise I'll give you your chance you'll have your say" Uma and I shared a look laughing.
"Silly king!"Uma sang looking back over at him seeing Harry smirk and push Ben to the edge of the plank again. "You, give us?" she asked since did he really believe we needed him.
"You're gonna give us a chance...well, not a chance"I sang as I turned back to Mal.
"Oh...oh...oh make the trade, oh...oh...oh or walk the plank, oh...oh...oh make the trade, oh...oh...oh or walk the plank"we sang smiling at Mal with Harry pushing Ben closer to the end every time we sang 'walk the plank' to motivate Mal as she stepped forward ready to hand over the wand but it just seemed too easy.
"Hold up...too easy" I told her with a smirk. "Why don't you give it a test drive?" I asked her and swore I saw them all share a panicked look.
"She's right, why don't you give it a test drive we wanna see it work" Uma nodded her agreeance, Mal scoffed.
"You always were quite the drama queen" she spat in Uma's direction.
"And nothing too big otherwise Ben is fish bait" I warned her pointing to Harry who pushed Ben forward holding onto his jacket so the king was quite literally hanging off the end of the plank staring down at the water below and he made it even better by looking up giving Mal a fearful look.
Mal turned to the others before she turned back towards us then headed over to the side of the bridge and I frowned before I noticed there was a dog sitting on the dock with a red, white and black vest on.
"Okay...'although is sounds absurd, turn your bark into a word'..." she spelled and waved the wand before pointing at the dog but nothing happened and the dog just stared at us, Uma and I gave Mal an impatient look when she turned to us before looking back at the dog. "Talk dog" she commanded it.
"Does this vest make me look fat?" it asked and my eyes widened a little hearing the crew laughing behind us. "Hey does anyone have any bacon...cookies?" I smiled since it worked, they were actually surrendering and giving us the real wand.
"Give me the wand!" Uma demanded holding her hand out.
"Give me Ben!" Mal yelled back pointing over at the king, I rolled my eyes before smiling and looked over at Harry.
"Harry" I motioned him to bring Ben over. "Bring him over" Harry smirked pulling Ben back aboard the ship with the king skipping considering his legs were tied and pulled him towards us.
"Ooh and before you go uh...tell your mama Gaston says hi and also tell your dad that my Dad wishes he'd finished off your dad when he had the chance" Gil quickly told him making my smirk widen before Harry pushed Ben causing him to land beside me and Uma on his knees looking up at Mal with love eyes and her back at him.
"Aww" Uma and I crooned looking at her when she glared at us before they both held their hands out for what they both wanted.
"Cut him loose Harry" Uma told Harry.
"I never get to have any fun" Harry sighed annoyed pulling his sword out and cut through both of Ben's bindings freeing him and the king immediately reached out grabbing Mal's hand but I quickly put my hand on his shoulder stopping any further progress until we had the wand and saw Mal glare at me before she placed the wand in Uma's hand and when she'd let go I let go of Ben who stood and was pulled away by Mal.
"Ben go!" Mal told him when he tried to fight against her looking at us with the wand while we smirked heading onto the deck laughing and cheering with the crew.
"Okay, okay" Uma calmed them down then pointed the wand to the sky. "...'By the power of the sea, tear it down and set us free'..." she spelled but nothing happened, no spark like it had at the kings coronation, no earthquake...nothing. "No!" Uma yelled and snapped it over her knee proving it was a fake after all...they had talking dogs in Auradon?. "You do not get to win every time!" Uma yelled pointing at Mal who was still pushing Ben to leave while we glared at her.
"GET 'EM!" I yelled and the crew moved forward us Carlos used a slingshot to fire a spoke bomb at us and it exploded into a cloud of blue blinding us and giving them a chance to arm themselves since when the smoke cleared they now had swords but I guaranteed we were better with using one.
We moved striking with some of the crew swinging over to the docks by ropes while others charged across the bridge engaging the traitors in battle with Uma and I ordering more across but Mal actually managed to knock a few into the water before dodging the next wave of our crew that charged ashore the dock before it was just Uma and me, we both drew our swords taking a stance in front of her as she mockingly waved us forward.
Uma swung first clanging swords dancing back and forth, my eyes searched the crowd feeling like Mal was really Uma's fish to fry and I decided to head past them leaving them to battle it out and I went for the Auradon girl figuring she was the weakest link making it there just as one of ours fell into the drink below because of her.
"Go!" I told the one currently fighting her seeing as he'd lost his sword to her and he nodded taking off before the girl turned to me, a smile on her face, I spun coming down with a downward swing our swords meeting before we both pushed back on each other putting a small amount of distance. "Not bad for an Auradonian" I told her smirking.
"Not bad yourself" she smiled back before we both moved back in, our swords making back to back clinging sounds, we pushed each other back again and I was growing tired of the back and forth.
"Let's end this" I growled out and she smiled, I charged at her but the sneaky witch dodged out of the way at the last minute and I felt my toe catch on a raised board and my eyes widened when I felt myself go straight through the railing dropping my sword in the process of falling. "No!" I screamed right before my body met the water and I sank below sinking further and further unable to get myself back to the surface slowly running out of air in my lungs and saw my vision start fading out...I was drowning!
Just as I thought this was the end for me, I felt a hand wrap around my chest under my arms and start pulling me up and I sucked in a huge breath the moment my head breached the surface choking up water in the process getting it all over my savior.
"Yeh alright, get the sea out of yer lungs" my eyes met Harry's and I couldn't believe it for a second. "Come on!" he started swimming backwards dragging me along with him before we made it back to the dock and he pushed me up until I had a hold before he climbed up himself just as Uma was about to race past us chasing after Mal.
"Uma!" we called out and she stopped turning towards us, then quickly grabbed each of our hands and pulled us up onto the safety of the dock.
"Mal's mine!" she growled out as soon as we were on our feet and ran off for Mal.
"Stay here" Harry told me before chasing after her, I of course didn't listen and marched off rage boiling at the thought of that Auradon girl and quickly found my sword discarded on the dock where I'd dropped it before I pushed my way back into the battle just in time to watch her flee like a coward with Jay through the pipe so instead I turned my attention to Evie as she backed up a ladder.
"Hey Evie" I smirked swinging at her, she swung back and I was surprised at how well these traitors could actually hold their own so well.
"We don't have to fight" Evie told me and I scoffed bringing my sword down pushing her into the ladder. "Carlos smoke bomb!" she called out and before I knew it we were blinded by yet another cloud of purple smoke.
"Ben go!" we heard Mal yell out and by the time the smoke had cleared they were in the tunnel, Uma and I raced to the bridge but Mal kicked it knocking it off and it fell into the water stopping us from chasing them any further.
"What's my name, what's my name?" Uma sang pointing her sword at Mal as we could do nothing but watch her smirk in victory. "What's my name, what's my name...Say it Now!" she sang out loud but it was over and we'd lost yet again. "No urgh...out of my way!" Uma exclaimed pushing through the others taking off and I frowned confused but took off after her as we took the other way around but we were still too late and saw the limo disappear down the road. "No!" Uma yelled again and took off making me sigh but then my eyes widened when I saw something sitting on the road before I quickly picked it up and followed after her once more running all the way to the broken magical bridge taking short cuts that only we knew about and were definitely faster than the roads in which they'd have to take to get here.
"What are you thinking?" I asked her with a frown seeing her staring out at the water.
"We jump in when they open the barrier, swim through" she told me as we ducked down to a lower dock out of sight for when they got here.
"You know I can't swim, I already nearly drowned back there!" I exclaimed shaking my head quickly.
"Then I'll go, I'll steal the real wand and tear it down" she replied just as we could hear the sound of a car approaching and she made a move to jump in.
"Uma wait!" I stopped her and quickly pulled out what I'd found on the road back there...Mal's spell book. "You might need this" I smirked when her eyes widened.
"How!?"
"She must have dropped it on the road back there" she laughed and quickly took the book while I frowned. "Promise you'll come back for us?" I asked her and she looked up.
"I'm coming back, I promise, friends don't leave friends behind" she nodded before we quickly shared a hug, despite what people believe Uma and I actually were best friends.
We pulled apart just as we heard the car above us and watched in awe as the barrier opened and Uma wasted no time jumping into the water below disappearing from view and I sighed watching as it closed before my eyes fell on a head of turquoise hair emerge out of the water on the other side of the barrier making me smile since she'd made it, I saluted her before watching as she disappeared again.
"Be careful Uma" I told her even though she couldn't hear me since we had no idea what was over there and she was on her own until she found a way to tear down the barrier.
After watching the waves for a few more minutes I finally walked back towards the docks to take in the damage and to tell the crew that we were down a captain but before I'd even made it Gil and Harry were racing towards me, the latter surprising me by cupping my cheek with his right hand.
"Are yeh okay, you and Uma took off?" I nodded my head quickly fighting against a blush at the feel of his hand on my cheek. "Where is Uma?" he asked taking his hand off my cheek and checked behind me seeing no Uma.
"She's gone" I told them.
"Gone, what do you mean gone?" Gil asked.
"She dove through the barrier when they opened it, she's gonna steal the wand and set us all free"
"What?" Harry breathed out. "I could've gone with her"
"There wasn't any time" I shook my head. "She'll be back Harry" I told him and he sighed nodding his head before we headed back to the ship and assessed the mess, there was colored mess everywhere that we started to clean up before we all went to the Chip Shoppe knowing that the Auradon news would be covering some kind of event tonight and knowing that Fairy Godmother would have her wand it'd be exactly where Uma would be.
