Lizzie's POV

The next castle the traitors lead us to was huge, nearly triple the size of Auradon and that was just from the outside and once we went in out my amazement grew as it to be a never ending maze of halls and doors which was bringing me back into my one of my nightmares...I felt my body start tensing up as the doors started to turn red...everything began to turn red.

'It's not real, there not real' I chanted over in my head clutching Harry's hand as we walked and he looked over at me, a questioning look in his eyes but I remained stone faced since I wasn't letting the madness affect me here...I was free I could no longer let it control me.

"Ben!" Mal called out and I rolled my eyes since if Audrey was here then we'd already lost the element of surprise.

"This way" the dog said leading down the hall to our lefts.

"Ben could be asleep anywhere" Mal sighed.

"Or turned to stone" Celia added but Evie quickly covered her mouth stopping her from saying anything else that would upset Mal which was a letdown since it was entertaining to watch for the likes of us.

"Ben!"

"I got his scent, very pungent cologne" the dog cut off Mal's incessant yells. "Easy to track, follow me people"

"That's great Dude" Jay told praised him, they kept repeating Dude so I was figuring that was its name.

"FYI, I give great cuddles too" Dude quickly added making me snigger a little.

"Really I never had a pet growing up, well except for the elk head in Dad's man cave" Gil spoke up and I smiled at him patting his shoulder once.

"Hold up, what's this?" Uma cut in making us all stop and turn to her seeing her running her hands over what looked like claw marks scratched into the walls and the bottom half of a painting had been cut through and lying on the ground.

"Uh...any chance this was already there?" Carlos asked looking at Mal.

"And follow me" Dude the dog called out disappearing down the next hall and we all started following it.

"Ben!" Mal went back to calling out and I sighed rolling my eyes at her looking at the scratches as I passed since it looked like a wild animal had gotten into the kings castle and Harry must have taken that as I was seeing something else because he squeezed my hand and mouthed 'Are you okay?' at me, I smiled and nodded my head...I could still see dark halls and red doors but I was ignoring it, ignoring the slipping of my sanity. "Ben!"

Mal pushed open a pair of dark wood doors and we followed her into a room full of armor with Mal continuing to call out Ben's name which was really starting to get on my nerves since clearly the king was asleep somewhere if he wasn't answering her.

"Stay here okay?" Evie told Celica who stood by the door as we all walked further into the room but the king wasn't here, Harry and I walked over to one of the suits and he let go of my hand to run his finger along the swords blade, admiring it giving out a whistle of appreciation for the craftmanship.

"I can feel you looking" Harry said and I turned seeing Jay standing behind us glaring at Harry and watching his every move, I glared back at him since he was getting on my nerves.

"Good" Jay spat coming up behind him.

"Why don't you back off Jay, we're not doing anything" I told him moving into his face since I had much bigger problems then his rivalry with Harry which seriously wasn't important or relevant to the situation, Jay glared back and stepped up getting back in my face until Harry stepped in adding his own glare and Jay frowned finally walking away.

"Alright man he's taken, you want a dog adopt a rescue" I heard Carlos say making me look over seeing him talking to Gil who was scratching Dude who laughed.

"Talking puppies, that's crazy" the dog said and I raised an eye.

"Says the strange talking dog" I remarked as Celia called him over before I caught back up with the others.

"I bet you lost some sleep thinking about me on the loose?" Uma spoke up and I smiled since that was a plus to her being gone so long.

"No dragons don't really lose sleep" Mal argued and I frowned glaring at her as I stepped in line with Harry again, he was my lifeline on reality right now so I was sticking close to him. "I wonder what fried octopus tastes like?" I raised an eye towards Mal before I felt a hand slip into mine and smiled at Harry who smiled back.

"Okay why don't we not do this?" Evie protested.

"We're celebrating our differences" Uma argued throwing the divas words from the bridge back at her but my eyes were focused on the suit of armor in front of us which I swear moved, I turned to Harry seeing if he'd seen that too and it hadn't been a figment of my madness but his eyes told me he'd seen it too.

"I believe were being challenged" Harry spoke up trying to get Uma's attention but she held her hand up at him.

"Let's split up and look for Audrey" she said looking at Mal.

"That makes absolutely no sense, unless you give me my ember she's going to spell you" Mal argued ignoring us as we tried to get their attention.

"GIRLS!" Harry exclaimed more forcibly getting their attention as the suit of armor moved again definitely meaning it wasn't a figment of our insanity. "We have a situation here"

"Do you like a prince Mal?" a girls voice said coming out of the amor and I'm guessing it was Audrey's and we all started backing away from it. "How about a knight in shining armor or knights?" our heads moved around the room as all the other suits begun to move as well coming alive with a spell.

"Watch your back, watch your back, watch your back, watch your back" we all started singing backing up towards the center of the room as the suits all jumped down off their pedestals. "We can counter their attacks, hit 'em till the armor cracks" we turned to make a break for the exit only to get cut off by two suits who blocked our exit.

"This could get a little sticky" Uma sang getting up on the center platform and pointed to the swords on the wall so Gil ran over and pulled two off handing one to Uma while Harry got two off the opposite wall and tossed me one making me smile. "How to win this battle could be tricky but I know the best way, fall back let me lead you hold the line and we'll bring them to their knees"

"Swords in the air if your with me!" Mal sang lifting a sword that Jay had given her and the others all raised their swords. "They got us outnumbered one to fifty, the victory is ours because I've got a strategy you take the left and the rest of you can follow me" I glared at her since there was no way any of us was taking orders from her.

"Uh-uh" Uma spat jumping up grabbing her arm.

"This is my crew" she complained.

"This is our squad" Uma spat back at her pointing between me and Uma since she didn't control us or the boys.

"This is my turf" she argued.

"Oh my gosh, look guys we got bigger fish to fry put your differences aside 'cause right now were on the same side" Evie cut in pointing at the armor battalion surrounding us. "Till the night falls...everyone-"

"We'll stay together until the battle is won" we all sang going on the defense clashing swords with the suits who were fighting back, the cling and clang of metal hitting metal ringing through the room. "Watch your back, watch your back, watch your back, watch your back, we can counter their attacks, hit 'em till the armor cracks...until the night falls were aligned it doesn't mean that were on the same side" we all got pushed down by the suits swords ours meeting theirs in defense but we managed to push back and spun around the center platform. "Watch your back, watch your back, watch your back, watch your back, hit 'em hard and hit 'em fast they're too heavy to react"

"This situation's getting kinda heavy, hold your weapons tight keep 'em steady cause if we stick together we can make it out alive, I will cause a distraction you attack them from the side" Mal sang while her and Uma teamed up against two suits at the other end of the room while we dealt with the rest.

I swung my sword clashing with the next suit that had come towards me managing to push them away and turned around for the next attack only to feel a hand wrap around my wrist and pull me right as I heard the clang of a sword hitting the spot I'd just occupied which had come from behind me and I looked up meeting the eyes of my boyfriend and smiled at him.

"All my soldiers stand at the ready we can cut 'em up like confetti, we'll hit 'em from the front you counter from behind don't forget the fate of Auradon's on the line" I heard Uma sing.

"This is all out war, they got us outnumbered, the way the swords clash is the sound of the thunder" we all sang standing on the center platform regrouping with the boys and I all raising our swords.

"And we are not going under, we will never run for cover" Mal sang.

"We battle for the victory and ride for each other" we sang admitting that we were working together for the time being.

"Until the night falls everyone...we'll stay together 'til the battle is done" Evie sang when we all jumped down and went back to clashing swords.

"Watch your back, watch your back, watch your back, watch your back..." we sang and I watched as Carlos lost his sword so I moved it stopping a downward swing the armor tried while Celica threw Carlos a shield off the wall and he used it to slide away. "Until the night falls, we're aligned, it doesn't mean that we're on the same side" we sang as I backed up hitting someone else and when I quickly looked at who it was I saw Harry and we smirked before fighting off more suits. "Back to back, back to back, Back to back, back to back, hit 'em hard and hit 'em fast they're too heavy to react"

We all paused when the suits started to dance and I raised an eye since what the hell...before both Mal and Uma swung their swords down hitting the suit of armor in the front and it sent a shock wave through them.

"...'Suit of armor strong and true, make this metal bust a move!'..." Mal read out a spell jumping up onto the center platform and her eyes glowed green before she raised the sword above her head and swung her hips from side to side and the suits copied her actions.

"Ah...ah...ah" Uma said jumping up holding the sword in both hands moving it from side to side and the suits copied meaning Mal's spell was working, Carlos got up next turning to his side holding his sword out behind him and stomped his foot with the armor copying so we all started dancing with Harry grabbing my hand spinning me around and twirling me as we all jumped up on the pedestals dancing with the suits copying us.

"Until the night falls, you can trust..." Evie sang as we all continued to dance around with the suits dancing with us.

"I'm gonna help you win this battle because I got your back, got your back, Got your back, got your back, all for one and that's a fact night fall pitch black" we finished and Harry dipped me right as the suits all collapsed but my focus was on Harry who was smiling down at me, I smiled back at him before putting my hand on the back of his neck and pulled his lips to meet mine for a quick chaste kiss before he lifted me upright and we quickly celebrated with the others.

"Yeah we did that, that's why I'm talking about..." Uma exclaimed as we shared a high five then she turned and went to high five Mal but they quickly realized what they were doing and lowered their hands while the boys all chest bumped before also realizing what they'd done and we quickly divided the room between our respected gangs again with Gil and Harry coming to stand behind me and Uma while Jay and Carlos stood behind Mal having our own celebrations.

"Guys come on this was so great" Evie complained to the dividing. "We were a team, we worked together" I scoffed crossing my arms over my chest. "Come on" Evie said trying to grab Mal's hand but she held up her hand. "Come on" she repeated touching Uma's arm but she made a face at her moving her arm out of the way and Evie let out a sigh before she smiled placing her hands on her waist. "You know what we should try?" she asked us and I frowned wondering where she was going with this. "An icebreaker" she said and the traitors all groaned meaning she was popular for this but she turned to our side. "You say something you really like about the other person, okay I'll start" she clapped her hands then moved her eyes over us, I crossed my arms again and glared at her. "Harry" she smiled and I turned looking over my shoulder seeing him let out a breath eyes closed. "Great accent" she said and he looked over at her almost surprised and I rolled my eyes. "Now you go" she told us and Harry looked down at me with a smile.

"Is she always this perky?" Uma asked looking over at the others before Harry had a chance to say anything thank god.

"Oh it really wasn't your turn but thank you" Evie said looking at her and I scoffed since that hadn't been a compliment,

"Okay Evie, come on" Mal interrupted pulling her aside.

"I like everything about yeh" Harry suddenly whispered leaning close to me and I smiled.

"I definitely like your accent but I love everything about you too"

"Really guys?" Uma asked us but we just smiled unapologetic.

"...we are very short on time, Audrey clearly knows we're here and we need to get out of here, ASAP" Mal said still talking to Evie, Harry and I missed the first part of their conversation.

"Alright where does this cheerleader bunk down?" Uma asked cutting in.

"Even if she's not there we might find some sort of clue" I shrugged agreeing with Uma since it was a better plan than Mal had come up with so far.

"Actually she's still at the dorms" Evie replied.

"You're right, because of summer school" Mal agreed and I raised my eye since that was just plain cruel, who makes someone go to school in the summer, Harry suddenly started laughing.

"What...summer school...summer school!" he exclaimed making me smile especially as his arm wrapped around my shoulders. "No wonder she wants revenge"

"Okay I need you guys to go find Ben" Mal instructed looking around at all the boys and the smile dropped from my face at the thought of being split up from Harry. "We will meet back at Evie's in...two hours, okay?"

"Sounds like we're going with my plan, I'm just saying" Uma spoke up.

"It was kind of the obvious plan" Mal replied.

"Uma said it first" Gil argued making me smile.

"Right so my plan" Uma smiled back at him.

"Whatever" Mal spat bitterly again and walked out of the room with Uma moving to follow and with the two of them leaving the rest followed, I sighed nervously and started following until we got out of the castle and started to go our separate ways and Harry pulled me to a stop.

"Are yeh going to be okay?" he asked and I frowned hesitating with my answer since I wasn't sure. "Liza" he brushed my hair aside tucking it behind my ear before he left it pressed against my cheek. "What happened back there?"

"It doesn't matter"

"Of course it does, yeh matter to me" I smiled pressing my hand against his.

"Are you two done yet?" Uma asked and I looked over seeing them all watching us.

"Lizzie's coming with me" Harry spoke looking over at them as well, I frowned since I didn't want to appear as weak.

"I'm fine Harry, I'll see you later"

"Liz-"

"I'll be okay" I cut him off before pressing a kiss against his cheek then turned walking over towards Uma and we left with me casting one last look at Harry as he went with the boys towards the woods while we went back towards Auradon Prep.
