Lizzie's POV
I was staring in front of the mirror in our room on the Jolly Rodger staring at my reflection, today was Mal and Ben's wedding and I had designed my own dress drawing it out and Evie helped me put it together, it wasn't overly special or extravagant like any of Evie's creations.
It was a black and red two-toned dress with dark red boot heels and I felt way out of my element since this is really the first time that I'd ever gotten this dressed up and I kept smoothing my hands out over the dress worrying about how ridiculous I look and was in half a mind not to go since who was I kidding I didn't deserve to go to Mal and Ben's wedding, it wasn't like we were friends with either one of them and had been honestly surprised to even get an invite.
I heard the door to our room open and turned seeing Harry walk in and instantly felt a little better when I saw how uncomfortable he looked in his wedding attire, he had on black leatherish type jeans, a black button up shirt with a burgundy red blazer with a matching bowtie hanging loosely around his neck as he hadn't tied it yet.
"You look about as comfortable as I do" I commented trying to hide the smirk from my face.
"I don't see why I have to wear this monkey suit" he complained walking over to him and picked up his bowtie and tied it.
"Think of it as practice for our big day since whether you like it or not you'll be wearing a suit"
"That I can live with" he scoffed making me roll my eyes at him while smoothing out his bowtie so that it sat perfectly in line around his shirt collar then flipped his collar down.
"If it's any consolation I think you look quite dashingly handsome"
"And ye cut quite the figure in that dress me beautiful lass" I smiled running my hand over the lapel of his jacket before I leant up and kissed him.
"We should go" I said after a few seconds into the kiss but he leaned in capturing my lips once more. "I'm serious"
"Mmhmm we should" he agreed pulling me closer and I couldn't help melt into his embrace cupping the back on his head lacing my fingers through his hair in the meantime messing it up a little bit but I think it made him look even more handsome.
"Harry" I warned being the mature one and finally pulled away pushing on his shoulders and he groaned making me roll my eyes since he was such a child some times.
"We really should go otherwise we'll be late" he sighed nodding his head and we left his bedroom heading up onto the main dock seeing everyone working since only Harry, Uma and I had been invited since out of the crew we were the only ones that really knew Mal and Ben on a personal level and for a royal wedding it was being kept pretty small and casual which I had a feeling is what Mal really wanted just like I was planning a small intimate wedding for me and Harry.
"Wow look at you two" Captain Hook laughed walking down the stairs from the upper deck with a wide smile on his face. "I've never seen my boy look so grown up"
"Dad!" Harry whined and I chuckled a little bit before accepting his hug, I absolutely adored his Dad and felt like he'd been a better parent to me than my real ones had my entire life and I was adamant to keep it that way since I haven't seen my mother since that day in her mansion and hadn't seen Ace since I confronted him after finding out he was my father.
"Don't complain Harry, you have a beautiful lass on yer arm so enjoy it" I laughed again nodding my head smugly at Harry who rolled his eyes before he looked to the side seeing the limo that had been set to arrive for us, Uma had went earlier than us which meant she was already gone so we headed over and got in closing the door and letting the driver take us to the wedding which was being held in the cathedral.
"I can't believe we're literally dressed in these get ups and riding in a limo..." I sighed looking around at the extravagant décor of this limo, the plush leather seats, the mini bar which was currently empty.
"Or that we'd be on our way to Mal's wedding" Harry added with a laugh and I nodded my head.
"Things have definitely changed" I pointed out as I'd been having mixed feelings since the barrier fell because while our lives we're definitely better I also kind of miss the good old days where our days were spent of hanging out in the Chip Shoppe, running wild in the bazaar and alleyways and tagging up the Isle with our 'Ride with the Tide' tags.
"Not a bad thing though" Harry whispered in my ear seemingly reading my mind and knowing what I was thinking about which wasn't abnormal since he always had been able to read me like a book and I smiled squeezing his hand before the limo was suddenly pulling off the road and we saw a black limo with blue flame decals up the side fly past us back towards the Isle and Uma was running after it.
"Pull over" I told the driver even though the limo was already nearly stopped from having to pull out of the way of Hades limo and once it had completely stopped Harry and I jumped out chasing after Uma towards the bridge seeing it was completely lit on fire with blue flames. "Uma!" she turned as Harry and I ran up to her.
"What happened?" Harry asked her.
"Hades, he torched the whole wedding" she told us and my eyes widened since why on earth would he do that.
"Why would he do that?" I asked but before she could answer we heard Mal call out and turned seeing her, Evie, Jay and Audrey running up to us.
"What happened?" Evie asked.
"Hades happened" Uma informed them even though I gathered it should have been obvious given the blue flames since they were signature to Hades only.
"Wow, when you Dad burns bridges, he literally burns bridges" Jay pointed out and I rolled my eyes since now really wasn't the time for that.
"Look I tried to catch him okay and get him to chill but his hair was wild and was blowing in the wind and...set the bridge on fire" something definitely set Hades off, that's for sure.
"I need to get to the Isle and bring my Dad back" Mal spoke up sounding worried and I didn't blame her, her Dad literally just torched her wedding for no reason and I turned to Harry praying that nothing like that happened on our day, especially my if it's my mother. "If you could help me please" she begged looking at Uma who scoffed.
"For the queen on her wedding day, I got you" Uma replied before she suddenly took off at a run towards the side of the bridge and jumped off diving into the water before we saw the usual whirlpool of water as she emerged from the water as big as a ship laughing as he tentacles moved in the waves. "Y'all might want to stand back"
"Oh great" I sighed as we all moved back all except Audrey who looked to be barely listening even as they started calling out to her, Harry quickly shielded me knowing how much I hated the water as Uma sent a wave towards the bridge which spilled over extinguishing the flames as well as drenching Audrey.
"Thank you Uma" Mal called out as we all laughed and cheered.
"Consider it my wedding present" Uma replied and I laughed since we hadn't even gotten them a wedding present. "Now go get your Dad, we'll get all your guests back to the reception" Uma added and we nodded towards Mal letting her know we'll help before they were all heading towards the Isle.
"Thank you Uma" Evie thanked her as well.
"I'll see you at the wedding" Jay nodded at her.
"Hey, I'm never gonna forget this" Mal smiled at her giving her a salute and Uma winked at her before they left and she shrunk back down appearing on the bridge.
"Lets round up the guests" we nodded and headed back to the limo which was still waiting for us and we got a ride to the cathedral rounding up the guests back inside and took care of a quick clean up of the venue and let the former King, Queen and Fairy Godmother know what was going on watching as FG use her wand to transport them to the Isle.
"Why do I get the feeling, they're so eloping" I smirked at Harry who laughed.
"No doubt about it" he nodded squeezing my hand.
"Perhaps we should to" I decided to voice and his eyes widened a little surprised. "Maybe it'll be in our best interest seeing as my mother is still out there and so is Ace"
"They wouldn't dare-"
"Ace might not but honestly I couldn't put it past my mother, maybe we should just have a secret ceremony on the deck of the Jolly Rodger" I argued and he sighed taking both my hands in his.
"I'll agree if it's really what yer want Liza but if it's not then I won't let yer deny yerself the wedding that you want" I smiled and squeezed his hands.
"Really, all I want is for you and me to marry surrounded by the people we love and all that's already on the ship and what better way to keep it intimate than with just our family" he smiled before leaning in and pressing his lips to mine.
"We'll talk to me Dad once this is all over" I nodded my head before we looked out at the wedding that was being repaired around us and to be honest I never wanted anything like this, so long as I married Harry than that's all I cared about and the way I envisioned our day was on the deck of the Jolly Rodger the sunset behind us with his Dad marrying us and that was the perfect vision.
Night had fallen and just as things seemed to get worrisome there was a bright pink smoke and everyone turned towards it seeing Ben and Mal at the top of the stairs lip locked before they parted and it was quickly understood that they had eloped which made me smirk towards Harry since I'd so called that one but that didn't stop the celebrations as the atmosphere was suddenly filled with music, laughter and celebrations.
"For good and for better I found my forever, I can't wait to know where our story goes..." I smiled at the lyrics being sung around me before I suddenly found myself being spun and pulled into a pair of arms looking up into the eyes of my own true love.
"This moment, this feeling is one you can't measure, I'm feelin' it...I'm feelin' it, are you feeling it?" I sung barely above a whisper as I held onto Harry's shoulders as he spun us around on the dance floor, I didn't even know he could dance.
"I'm feeling the la-la-love, la-la-love" he sung and it made my heart fill almost a thousand times bigger.
"You make me feel alive, true love you can't deny, I'm feeling that dream come true here with you and love is around us too, ooh and I feel the love, I'm feeling the la-la-love, la-la-love, I'm feeling the la-la-love" we sung together before our lips met and I couldn't be more happier than I felt right now.
A little while later I still haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face as I parted off from all the celebrations to watch feeling content for what seemed like the first time in my whole life since I had everything that I've ever wanted and I was content to watch the people that I cared about dance, laugh and celebrate the actual joining of Auradon and Isle culture since this wedding solidified a new beginning.
My head suddenly snapped to the side when I swear I saw a flash of white dart from the garden outside in which surrounded the cathedral and frowned walking outside towards the banister peering out into the darkness trying to see if it maybe was just a figment of my imagination and just as I was about to pass it off as such I saw the flash of white again and couldn't help the instinct to run after it.
I lifted my skirt of my dress and ran after it only catching tiny sights of white but I knew it was an animal and sprinted after it but lost it in the darkness since the only source of light as the stars and moon overhead and I sighed since maybe I was just going crazy but right as I turned my eyes caught something else and my feet immediately started moving towards it my eyes widened as they dropped to the ground.
I knelt down in the grass running my fingers of the crisp white roses before my fingers ran through the think substance that coated half of the bed of roses lifting my hand up seeing it practically drip off them and felt my heart rate picking up it's steady pace.
"Paint?" I questioned before standing and followed the trail of red paint before sound the source of the spilled paint...a red paint can and a paint brush in which had been used to paint the roses red...all this lead to a rabbit hole. "No!" I screamed jumping backwards away from it since I'd heard the tale...my mother raging about her homeland and how one got there...
"Liza?" I heard Harry call out looking for me so I stood and turned around to head back to him only to jump in fright when I saw a rabbit standing there in a little blue waistcoat and I jumped back again...i immediately felt my foot catch on a root and went tumbling backwards not being met by the ground stead my hands reached for nothing but air as I screamed in realization.
"Harry!"...I called frantically as I fell down the rabbit hole.
