1.
"Su why are you doing this to yourself?" Lucy enquired from her perch on her older sister's bed.
"I haven't a clue what you are talking about Lucy." Susan said from her vanity as she applied her mascara
"How can you forget about Narnia? And Aslan?"
"I wish nothing to do with that silly game we played one summer when we were young."
"Well I have to get going. I miss my caring, pretty, gentle sister who would spend time with me. I miss my best friend." Lucy turned and walked out.
Susan bit her lip to stop the tears.
2.
5 year old Susan Pevensie sat in her room crying. Edmund called her the worst big sister in the world. She tried so hard to be the best big sister she could. Edmund just hated her.
Things got worse at the professors. Susan felt like she had to be mum as well. It just made Ed resent her even more than before. She blamed herself for what happened with the white witch. And right before he died in the train crash he said that she was just like she was when she was young. She hadn't changed a single bit.
3.
Susan sighed as she noticed Peter. "I do not need you down here when Aaron arrives, Peter."
Peter shook his head. "Is it so wrong that I want to meet this guy Su? I just want to be sure that he is worthy of you."
"I do not need anyone's protection Peter." Susan stared him down.
"It never was a problem in-"
"That place never existed! It's time to grow up and act like an adult Peter!" Susan cut Peter off, shouting with rage.
Peter walked away, his silence speaking volumes to Susan. She had lost his loyalty and trust.
4.
Susan sat in her bedroom tears falling down her face. She was too old. How could she be too old for the one place where she felt home? But He said she wouldn't be able to go back.
It wasn't fair. It took her until now to truly believe and now it was ripped away from her in a moments notice because of that Lion. Stupid lion.
Narnia must have not existed. She didn't believe until Aslan said she couldn't return. And how could she possibly believe that a place she couldn't go existed. It was the most logical explanation.
5.
Susan no longer remembered when she got the wardrobe. There were five times a year she would wake up in the wardrobe sobbing. She had already done it for each of her sibling's birthdays. Now it was the day they died. Susan crawled in the wardrobe and started banging on the back.
"Stupid Lion! I want them back! Give them back! I miss them! I Miss You! Aslan please!"
All the shouting, pleading and her pounding fell on deaf ears. Eventually Susan gave up and sobbed. Sobs turned to sniffles and Susan fell asleep at the back of the wardrobe.
