Before making port Luna had Calcifer leave the ship as not to scare the people of Drum Island. Sanji steered the ship into the canal of the island. As the ship moved further inland Luna keep an eye out for the residents. Unknowingly having a certain swordsman's eyes on her. Figures in the fog started to appear, Luffy having jumped of his spot came to stop behind Luna. Her blue eyes landed on the one she was looking for, Dalton.

"Pirates Leave You Are Not Welcome Here!"

Luna stepped forward, "Dalton it's Luna. We are need of medical assistance, one of our own is gravely ill. We can not continue on as she won't last much longer."

"Luna!"

Dalton moved forward as he ordered the men to lower their weapons. The man took in the ship and the woman he knew from her previous visit before nodding.

"Move further inland, closer to the village. We don't need other pirates seeing your ship."

Luna nodded as she smile at the man, "Sanji we need to go a bit further."

They docked the ship as Sanji volunteered to carry Nami into the town. Zoro opted to watch the ship with Karoo. Luna walking ahead with Dalton discussing the situation. Even with Luna the villagers were still unsure of the crew, but Dalton eased their worries by stated he trusted Luna's choice.

"I must apologize for the harsh greeting but we were recently attacked by a group of pirates."

Luna's lips tightened into a tight line, "what was the name?"

Dalton looked at the smaller woman worried, "Blackbeard. Wapol abandoned the kingdom during the attack."

Luna nodded as her thoughts drifted to Ace, were they able to save Thatch, Ace didn't leave the Moby Dick did he?

They arrived at Dalton's home, Sanji carried Nami inside with Vivi following behind. Luna gave one last look over at her brother and the sharpshooter with a small smile before heading inside. She arrived just as Dalton asked Vivi if he knew her.

Vivi got nervous turning away from the former captain, "no I'm afraid you're mistaken. More importantly could you point us to your doctor Luna said she would be the only one who could cure Nami. Please her fever has risen to 107 fahrenheit."

"Her fever will only get worse if we don't see Kureha. I know what illness that is plaguing our navigator. Kureha is the only doctor that has studied it, and is the only one who will have the cure."

Sanji jumped into the convention, "we need to know where she is."

Dalton pointed out his window, "you see those mountains?"

Sanji looked out the window just to see Luffy's snowman. The cook ran outside to yell at the two younger members. "YOU TWO ARE DEAD!"

After destroying the boys' creations, the three joined the others inside. Dalton had fixed them some tea, as they sipped at it Dalton spoke of Kureha, "the woman that people call a witch, the sole doctor of our country."

Dalton looked out his window, "Dr. Kureha lives in the castle on the highest mountain."

"What? Of all places, why does she live way up there? Fine, just call her down than, this is an emergency!"

Dalton shook his head at the cook, "sadly we have no way of contacting her."

This caused Sanji to jump up, "and she's supposed to be a doctor? What the hell kind of doctor is that?!"

"There is no denying her skill, but she's a rather strange old woman. She's unpredictable and has lived a long life of 140 years."

Luna could not stop the chuckle escaping her thoat, "don't let Kureha hear you call her old."

Everyone else was shocked by the doctor's age and questioned if she would still be alive.

Vivi spoke up, "but then, what happens when people of this country become sick or injured?"

Dalton looked over at the princess, "she usually comes down the mountain of her own free will, searches for patients, treats them, and then takes whatever she wants from their homes as compensation before leaving again. Like I said she's unpredictable. You never know when or what she's gonna do."

"Oi, oi, she sounds like a pirate!" Luffy piped in from behind Luna.

"But how does she get down from the mountain?" Vivi wondered aloud.

"It's just an odd rumor, but several eyewitnesses have reported that, on moon lite nights she takes to the sky in a sleigh and rides down," Dalton explained. "That is the reason why she's called a witch. They also say a strange creature comes with her, the likes of which they've never seen."

Luna knew that was Chopper, the little blue noised reindeer doctor. Usopp became scared at the thought of Kureha having an abominable snowman. While Sanji was angered by the thought of having to wait for the doctor.

Luna's attention went to Luffy as he made his way over to Nami. She stopped him from slapping her awake, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder Luna shook her awake.

"Nami I need you to be awake for this. Luffy is going to get you to the doctor but he'll have to carry you up a mountain. Are you alright with the plan?"

Nami gave a weak thumbs up at the two siblings. Sanji ran over to the three, "Luna-swan I don't mean to question you but are you sure this is a good idea?"

Luna stood as she looked at the cook, "it will be fine Sanji because you and I will accompany him. Someone will need to defend him as he makes his way to Kureha, and I'll keep an eye on Nami's condition." She turned to Dalton, "I'll need three blankets."

Sanji nodded at the woman before turning to the ex-captain, "well you heard the lady."

The trio made their way outside after Luna tied the blankets around the navigator and captain. One under Nami that was secured around Luffy's waist, the second around Nami and Luffy's waist, then the final under both's arms securing it around Luffy's chest. She stood back with a nod, "that should make her the most secure. Luffy while you're carrying her you can Not fight, to much movement will be dangerous for her."

"If you are truly serious about this, I will not stop you," Dalton grunted, "but please ascend from the slope opposite this one. The path from here is inhabited by Lapins. They are a ravenous species of rabbit. If you encounter a pack of them, you will surely die."

Luffy looked at Sanji, "we'll be fine, right?"

Sanji lite a cigarette before nodding, "I'll kick them."

Luna turned to Dalton, "we shall be fine Dalton. Thank you for your concern, but we must be off."

Luna started towards the mountain with the two following her. She turned her head to Luffy as they made their way out of town. "Luffy I won't be able to use my powers too much out here. I'll have to fight like we did as kids."

"Huh? Why not?"

Sanji turned and yelled at the captain, "idiot she controls water. What happens when water gets cold?"

"It freezes. Oi, does that mean you'll freeze?"

Luna shook her head, "not exactly. You recall that I have a lower body temperature? Well I prepared by dressing in layers of clothes, but my water will freeze in seconds. I can use the frozen water as weapons but I won't be able to manipulate it."

Luffy nodded and Sanji just gave the boy a blank look, "you have no idea what she meant?"

Luffy smiled at the cook, "nope."

Luna laughed softly as Sanji gave a detected sigh, "it's fine Sanji. I figured as much at least you understand."

Sanji snapped back with his normal flirty look, "oh course Luna-swan. You can count on me."

The three continued up the mountain Luna listening to the two boys discuss the rumors they've heard about people in cold regions. All the while the three of them were dodging the small lapin, who was trying to attack them. Before Sanji could kick the poor thing Luna caught the lapin.

"I'm deeply apologize sweetie but we are unable to play currently. Our friend is gravely ill and needs medical attention."

Luna turned and sat the young lapin on the ground before following the boys. She caught up to them just in time to hear Sanji criticizing Luffy's shoe choice. Luffy answered him with the wrong phrasing. Luna giggled at him, "I believe you mean policy Luf."

"That's what I said."

"Looks like we have company," Sanji pointed up ahead was a pack of lapins. Luffy made a move to attack only to be yelled at by both Luna and Sanji.

"Luffy remember what I said you can NOT fight."

The captain looked over at his sister in shock, "what not even a little?"

Sanji stood in front of him, "not even a little. The only thing you're allowed to do is dodge understand?!"

Luffy pouted but did as he was told. Dodging the attacks from the lapins. Luna and Sanji did their best to defend, Sanji with his kicks and Luna with a ice shield. The lapins continued their attack, Luna was able to push one back from attacking Luffy.

"Luffy head for the woods, we can handle this."

Sanji landed beside her, "damn with all this snow I can't get my footing for my kicks."

Luna created a sharp staff for Sanji, "here this may help for defense. I know you fight primarily with your feet but it's all I can do for now."

Sanji took the staff from Luna with hearts in his eyes, his feet swirling in its tornado fashion. "Why thank you Luna-swan."

They made their way to a small cliff that protruded, Luna panted lightly the air wasn't helping her breath. Sanji took notice of the woman's breathing, he knew they needed to get this finished quick. If the melting staff in his hand was anything to go by.

His eyes went to the grouping lapins above them, when they started to jump. Luna's eyes widened, "shit we have to move."

Sanji was shocked by the woman's cuss, "what do you mean?" His eyes moved back to the lapins before it hit him, "their trying to start an avalanche!"

Luna pushed Luffy towards a cliff farther down, "Luffy get to that ledge if we don't we'll be buried."

The trio ran for the ledge, Luna looking back to see the avalanche had started. "Sanji!"

The cook looked back, "crap we're out of time. Luffy get to the ledge."

Luffy turned his head to see the incoming avalanche, "AHHH!! What are we gonna do, Sanji? What are we gonna do?!"

"Like I'd know! In an case, Nami-san comes first! Second: Luna-san! Third: Nami-san!" They jumped onto a small ledge, "GOT IT?! Protect her with your life."

Luffy stumbled before Luna stapled him, "got it. But how?"

Luna looked around the avalanche for a tree to ride to a better ledge. She dodged as a lapin came by on a tree. "Sanji look!"

Sanji followed her finger to see a tree coming for them. "Luffy get on that tree."

The three jumped on the tree Sanji kicked another lapin as it attacked. Luna through her shield at another, looking ahead she saw the ledge they needed.

"Sanji!"

He looked ahead to see the ledge, "sorry Nami."

Luffy was confused, "huh?"

Sanji kicked the pair of Luffy and Nami to the ledge, Luna jump in time but as she made a move to grab Sanji another lapin attacked him. "Sanji!"

Luffy looked in shock, turning to Luna he pulled Nami off his back. "Luna watch Nami."

Without waiting for an answer Luffy jumped into the snow. Luna knew it was no good to argue with the boy and turned her attention back to Nami. She laid Nami's head on her lap before removing her glove. Luna placed her cold hand on the girl's feverish head, a frown over took her face, Nami's fever had gotten worse.

Hearing the crunch of snow she looked up in time to see Luffy carrying Sanji. "Lay him here Luffy."

The boy did so as he watched his sister move to remove Sanji's coat. Without thinking Luffy grabbed her hand stopping her.

Before Luffy could voice his disagreement Luna spoke, "Luffy I have to remove his coat. I'm going to exchange his with mine, if I don't he will suffer with hyperthermia. That will damage his skin and body."

At her explanation Luffy nodded, watching as his sister shed his cook's coat only to replace it with her own. The fit was massively different but he trusted his sister. After changing Sanji his sister helped Nami back on to his back, "I'll carry Sanji, focus on Nami she is still the higher priority."

Luffy nodded as he watched Luna put Sanji's coat over her shoulder before picking up the cook. Luna nodded at Luffy after Sanji was secured, the siblings wasted no time as they continued their climb to the mountain. The white head noticed the baby lapin trying to dig it's parent. "Luf."

Luffy didn't need anymore prompting as they passed he pulled the adult lapin out of the snow. Luna patted the baby on the head as she followed her brother and captain.

"Luffy keep an eye out I feel three presences up ahead."

The captain nodded eyes never moving from in front of him. Luna moved to be ahead of him, seeing the shape of the ex-king ahead of them. Before the ex-king could say anything Luna forced a wave of snow to throw the three aside. Pushing Luffy forward the two moved up the slope, she saw the ex-king and his men running towards them again. Before the woman could attack again several lapins appeared.

"What's going on?!"

She heard the jester looking male answer his boss, "it looks like the lapins are helping them."

The big metal mouth's voice hurt her ears as he screamed, "but the lapins would never team up with humans!"

Ignoring them the sibling continued on, the wind was picking up. Even with her extra clothes Luna could feel her body shaking. The siblings were quiet as they reached the base of the mountain. Luffy looked up the steep slope before looking over at Luna. He took note of the shaking of her body, "Luna you're getting too cold."

"Luffy I'll be fine. Once we reach the top I will get treatment. Nami and Sanji are our priorities if we don't hurry it will be the end of them. I'm able to hold out longer." Luna summoned two ice daggers.

Giving a sigh Luffy turned back to the mountain, the two began the scale the cliff side. The wind was much worse now, multiple times Luffy and Luna had to stop their accent so not the be blown off.

The climb was taking more out of Luna than she anticipated, she had long lost her ice daggers and was now creating foot holds for Luffy and herself. Luna shook again as another gust blow through her, Luffy yelled out as foot hold broke under him.

"LUFFY!" Luna held out her hand creating a large sheet of thick ice under him. The boy landed on his feet before looking back up at her. Hand still outstretched she called out to him, "Luf grab my hand and use it to catapult yourself back up."

The boy followed her directions, catapulting above her. She made more foot holds for him to grab, once Luffy was securely on the cliff side did she allow the ice under them to disappear. Feeling something on her arms her eyes fell to them, her fingers were succumbing to hyperthermia. Blood was seeping from the cracks on her fingers, she looked back up at the boy only to be hit in the face by something. She didn't need to look to know it was Luffy's blood. Biting her lip she pulled Sanji and her up to the captain.

"Keep going Luffy we're almost there," she didn't look over at the boy knowing how badly his own hyperthermia was becoming. She wouldn't be able to stand seeing her little brother like that, she had to be strong as his sister. The two siblings saw the ledge of the mountain, their damaged hands grabbed the snow covered top as they pulled themselves up.

The two laid in the freezing snow exhausted, their blood staining the once pristine frozen water. Knowing what was coming Luna grabbed Luffy by his shirt before trying to pull the two of them away from the cliff face. Just as she was sure she pulled them far enough she heard the undeniable sound, the earth shifted beneath her. Before she could scream out she felt herself falling, she still held Luffy in her other hand. A hand covered in fur grabbed her wrist, she saw the outline of the soon to be Strawhat doctor.

The reindeer pull the four of them up, her vision was starting to succumb to darkness. Luna called out to the devil fruit user, "the woman with red hair... is critical," before her world went dark.
