Author's Notes: It's been a while since I had anything to comment here, mostly I was just creating the build up so that our protagonists found a reason to write the story, but here it is. Hopefully it's been an enjoyable read to you all, and thank you to all of my followers for your continued interest in this fic!

The next chapter Is going to be longer than usual, so I may take a few more days writing it, I hope you can understand that, and please remember that any kind of feedback is entirely welcome!

Chapter 22: Story Time.

- …So, you like it? – How the tables turn, Lincoln was now being judged with precisions Lens over the chapter that he just wrote, he felt as If a Linguistics professor was reviewing the little segment that he wrote, he knew that he had one chance to redeem himself to the blonde that was now laying her head in his chest as she analyzed the script with a dead serious expression.

Hopefully that dream of his worked for something other than giving him headaches.

- …Wow Linky, didn't take you as the romantic type ~- It was now her turn to tease him back, you could call it divine payback, but the real result was showing through her renewed smile.

It was all good now.

- I guess I wanted to show you that I can also commit to that part of the story… - Lincoln said while looking to the side with a faint blush of embarrassment.

And Lola was in heaven.

- Well then, I suppose it's approved? – Lincoln finally turned back to face his sister, who quickly snapped out of her ongoing fantasies to focus on the task.

- Just pass me the pencil silly~ – She commanded, no signal of approval needed, Lincoln just complied as she began her writing process.

She passed the book with pride in her eyes, and Lincoln began reading.

Into the story:

"The kiss was passionate, leaving the princess-turned-agent weak on her knees, the soft, yet dry lips of the cowboy leaving a lasting memory, thinking that the brave knight actually returned her feelings brought enormous joy to her heart, but then reality struck again, he was going to leave her side, and nothing could be done against it, till she remembered the mission at hand, whatever had to happen.

They had to reunite the seven Chaos Diamonds.

- Arrival to planet Mobus in T-minus 20 seconds – The spaceship computer reminded the pair of their destination ahead.

- Well princess, looks like it's time to head on a new adventure! – The brave knight Triton began preparing the landing destination, leaving the conflicted princess tied on the co-pilot chair.

The landing was rough, leaving a large trace of fuel burn through a forest as the ship finally halted its speed by impacting with a large rock, no survivors were left (just kidding!).

[-Lola!-]
[-It's just a joke! Yeesh, don't take everything so seriously-]

From the colossal waste, a space cowboy and a princess in disguise emerged, ready to take on the new threats that this mysterious unexplored planet had to bring for them.

- Oh Captain, the ship is a wreck, it looks like we won't be able to go back to our planets until we find the chaos diamonds – The princess announced with alarm in her voice, scared at being left to wander an unknown environment, but excited at the prospect of being stuck with the handsome knight.

Sir triton, on the other hand, was already looking for clues when his eyes were set on an old-looking fat creature, he then turned back to the princess and delicately grabbed her hand.

- This way! – he said.

Back in the real world.

- Let's see if you can figure what creature I am talking about – Lola said while giving the pen back to her brother, who was already on deep thought about how to continue the story, he knew that the "adventure" parts were going to be his strong point, so he actually wanted to create an interesting spin, plus, he felt like he understood who Lola was trying to reference, but he wanted to think about his role in the story.

Then, without saying anything, he began writing, taking a long time this time around, making the little girl increasingly anxious to see the story.

Into the story:

" - Mission command, I come to report a… successful landing on planet Mobus, proceeding to scan the territory in search of hostile life forms, might need assistance with repairment on the main ship, confirming coordinates for resource drop-outs. – Captain Triton turned on the communication radio signal on his suit to advice the rest of the federation on his whereabouts and the possibility of repairing the ship after a forceful landing.

- Are we really going to approach that creature captain? it looks… gross – Undercover agent DeLola interceded the communication attempt to question the captain's intentions on regards to approaching the life form that had been detected by eye sight.

The duo continued their approach without any other exchange, eventually entering the creature's detection range.

- Money, mon, money money, mon – The creature then exchanged a few words, revealing a special kind of native language, it seemed to own a structure analogous to what a street stand would look like on his world, with various devices and handicrafts on display.

- Agent DeLola – Triton then looked back at his companion – Turn on the translator device on your right ear – he commanded as he proceeded to do the same.

- Please, state your business again – He then looked at the creature dead in the eyes, expecting the original comment to be repeated for the sake of clarity.

- I said, welcome to Flipponcio's, any and all tips and gadgets that ya can find In this stand for a price – The disgusting slug-like creature began giving a generic speech not unlike a street vendor in DeLola's planet.

[- Yep… you guessed it -]

- Ok, mister, here's the deal, we'd like some information about the 7 chaos diamonds that are supposedly in this planet – Agent DeLola took the rails of the discussion as she approached the gross creature and began her "negotiations" with it, being a princess, it was likely that no price could be high enough for her.

- Well I can tell ya some stuff – The slug got closer to the princess's face, prompting a defensive reaction from the captain – But what's in for me chief? – It continued with the approach, regardless.

- State your price – The undercover agent followed the conversation without backing down.

- Well that'll be 30 rupees – The slug simply stated his price, then retreated to the stand while holding its hands in a business pose – Or you can pay me 60 rupees and you get this diamond detector – The shop owner added In what sounded like an admittedly sweet deal -.

- Mmm… that sounds like a deal – The princ… err… agent, handed over the 60 rupees from her uncomfortably big bag and gave them to the slug.

If only an average space cowboy had as much free cash at all times…

The slug then looked by unamused at the agent.

- That'll be 90 rupees ma'am – It said without a trace of shame.

- What!? But you said 60! – The Agent understandably screamed back at the scam that she was being taken advantage off.

- Yeh, I said 30 rupees for the tip and 60 for the radar, no refunds – The greedy slug continued, the nerve of this guy. Making the agent in question, lose it.

- How about we take this stuff for free and in exchange you get to keep your stupid shop – The agent then released the hand of the space cowboy as she climbed to the stand, getting dangerously close to the unknown creature and grabbing it's gray mustache, showing a threatening look on her face that put even the captain himself on high guard.

- Agent, let go, it's not worth it – The captain then interrupted the incoming conflict by grabbing the agent's hand, forcing the threatening look to change into a more calm, but still angry one.

- Here, 30 more, now just tell us what do you know – The agent begrudgingly handed over an additional 30 rupees to the slimy bastard, which showed a satisfied smirk over the whole situation.

Even the captain had to resist the temptation to punch its foul face.

- The 7 chaos diamonds, our sacred treasure – The slug began to tell the story – Many have tried to claim them, but ultimately fell to their deaths, so much so that now, their mere existence had become a thing of myths –

- Guarded by very powerful golems, they are said to reside at the bottom of 7 sacred temples scattered thorough the planet, their colored gleam representing each of the planet's biomes.

- The Yellow one, which is said to be hidden on a desert nearby, guarded by the golem of Gluttony -

- The Cian one, which is said to be hidden in the tundra, guarded by the golem of Sloth –

- The Blue one, which is said to be hidden in the ocean, guarded by the golem of Greed –

- The Green one, which is said to be hidden in a forest, mind ya, not this forest, guarded by the golem of Envy -

- The Purple one, which is said to be hidden on a cave, guarded by the golem of Lust -

[- What's "lust", Linky? -]

[- Ehhh… I'll tell you when you're older Lols… -]

- The Red one, which is said to be hidden on a volcano, guarded by the golem of Wrath -

- And the White one, said to be hidden by an ancient civilization, guarded by the golem of Pride -

- It is said that whoever gathers the 7 diamonds, will be able to summon a powerful dragon, who will grant the brave warriors one single wish, then, the diamonds will lose their luster forever –

- Oh and here's the radar fam, the desert should be northwest from here, also I got water bottles for just 5 rupees, tax not included – The slug continued to promote its stuff, but by then, the princess and the cowboy were already turning back and leaving to the pointed direction."

Back in the real world.

- So, you like it? – Lincoln asked his little sister for one last bit of validation before continuing the story, he already had plans in mind for it, one of his intentions to make an "interactive" story of sorts, hence the famous "capital sins", as he didn't really know just how long the story would be.

But he had a feeling that it would be a long time.
