CHAPTER 41

INT. KENT FARM- NIGHT

Everyone is tired after fighting Black Beetle. The team has broken up into little groups around the barn to talk amongst themselves.

"So you think we can trust him?" Nightwing asked, glancing at Green Beetle/ B'arzz O'oomm who was standing alone.

"I don't know yet but he did save us Blue Beetle, Impulse, Arsenal and I would have been toast without him" Robin answered. Nightwing nodded he glanced at his holo screen seeing a message from Wally.

"Just finished a shit ton of homework fml, you coming home tonight?" He smiled reading the message.

"I know that look, your boyfriend rang?" Robin teased causing Nightwing to flick his forehead.

"Hey" Robin glared as Nightwing stuck his tongue out.

"I noticed you're not talking to your man what's that about?" Nightwing asked, looking at Conner who was talking to his grandfather

"M'gann kissed him and he stayed with her for a few days and didn't tell me" Robin pouted. Nightwing sighed hearing that information.

"Neither of them will talk about it but I know their break up was nasty. Listen I know that hurt alot but I've known him for a long time hell he was only 16 days old when we first met he is really bad at expressing what he feels" He commented.

"This isn't helping me feel better" Robin crossed his arms only to get playfully shoved by Nightwing.

"Because you're not letting me finish, what I'm saying is I've never seen him as emotionally free as he is with you not even when he was with M'gann just talk to him and maybe you two can work things out, now I gotta get back before Wally eats all the dinner" Nightwing stretched walking towards the exit.

"Nightwing…..thanks" Robin said.

"No problem" Nightwing smirked at the young teen as he exited the barn. Robin made his way over to Jonathan and Conner, Conner turned his head slightly, guilt filling his eyes. Jonathan gave him a knowing look.

"Pa this is Robin" Conner shyly introduced the two.

"Glad to officially meet you sir" Robin shook the farmer's hand. Jonathan gave Robin a smirk before wrapping an arm around his shoulder.

"So you're the lad my boy is so infatuated with" Jonathan laughed as a light blush formed over Conner's cheek. Robin gave Conner a smile trying to let him know everything is okay.

"Infatuated with? Please tell me more" Robin laughed along much to Conner's dismay.

"So they're dating right?" Arsenal turned to Blue Beetle and Impulse who only nodded.

"And you two?" He asked

"No" Jaime immediately said

"He's too scared" Bart commented at the same time causing them both to glare at one another.

"Okay sexual tension aside good mission I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea but thanks for dealing with me anyway see ya" Arsenal waved as he exited the barn.

"I'm too scared?" Jaime grunted.

"Prove me wrong" Bart challenged him.

"Bart" Jaime sighed seeing nothing but determination in Bart's eyes.

"Fuck it" He retracted his face plate as he reached downward's pulling up Bart's goggles.

"Blue?" Jaime leaned down placing a soft kiss on Bart's lips. Bart smiled very happy at this sudden burst of affection.

"Was that so hard?" Bart asked teasingly.

"Shut up" Jaime growled kissing Bart once more, Bart moaned into the kiss wrapping his arms around Jaime's neck deepening it.

WEST- CROCK RESIDENCE

Dick entered the house seeing Wally sitting on the couch a serious look on his face.

"Hey Wally I'm home picked up some chicken whizzes if you want any" Dick glanced over to the living room seeing Wally seated their Brucely jumping up running to Dick excitedly.

"Hey Brucely" Dick pat the pitbulls head right before he walked over to his boyfriend.

"What's the matter?" Dick asked, growing concerned at the silence.

"Dick when I decided to stop being a hero I was trying to control any unpredictability in my life, I moved in with Artemis we are studying, we have a normal life. She was there for me when you were grieving, when we broke up all of that. I needed all of that" Wally explained.

"So…..you're in love with her?" Dick tried to summarize only for Wally to punch him in the arm.

"She is like a sister to me I'm saying all this to say that you threw a wrecking ball in those plans, Dick you're Nightwing former boy wonder, bludhaven's savior forever flying Grayson and you embody unpredictability and I like it,I love it I always have and I love you I wanted to say that whatever happens I accept this part of you I accept you I love you" Wally says holding Dick's hands in his own.

"Wally I" Dick started amazed by the statement his heart stopped as he saw Wally get on one knee.

"Richard John Grayson will you do me the honor of being my husband" Wally announced Dick backed up slowly heart beating a million miles a minute.

"I" Dick started coughing wildly, Wally rushed forward patting his back.

"WALLY YOU I CAN'T EVEN" He took a deep breath trying not to freak out too hard.

"You really came out of left field with that" Dick tried his best to remain calm which was failing.

"Dick I've loved you since I was 15 I can marry you at 21 I can marry you at 50 but I want you to be mine I want to be yours what do you say?" Dick wiped a few stray tears from his freak out.

"Wally of course I'll marry you" Wally smiled, they slowly intertwined their fingers.

FLASHBACK

2010 ALLEN RESIDENCE

Wally sat at the steps of his Uncle Barry and Aunt Iris's house. Dick entered from across the street holding a box he decided on taking a seat next to him.

"You okay?" Dick asked him, placing his head on his shoulder.

"I am now" Wally kissed his forehead.

" M'gann asked me to bring this over" Dick opened the box revealing a cake.

"Sweet" Wally chuckled. Taking some frosting with his finger.

"Kaldur, Artemis, Zatanna and Conner made you this" Dick pulled out a card handing it to him.

"That was nice of them" Wally read over the card the basics of it saying how awesome he was even if his parents couldn't see it.

"So how are you?" Dick asked him.

"I miss my house, miss my parents everything use to be so predictable even when I became Kid Flash I kicked butt and listened to what Uncle Barry said…..than you came into my life and changed everything I thought I knew about myself" Dick looked at the ground feeling guilty.

"None of that" Wally pulled Dick's sunglasses off of him he, grabbed his chin making their eyes meet.

"Dick you're beautiful" Wally smiled knowing how hooked on this boy he really was.

"I am lucky to have someone like you" Dick rested his head in Wally's hand.

FLASHBACK OVER

PRESENT DAY

WEST-CROCK RESIDENCE

Dick woke up next to Wally the clock read 3:34 am

Dick smiled seeing his fiance's peaceful face softly snoring.

"I love you" Dick pecked his cheek before placing his head back on Wally's chest closing his bright blue eyes.
