Hello, my wondrous readers! I'm back, and here's chapter five of Team Storm! If you don't know what's going on in this chapter, well, TOO BAD! YOU SHOULD HAVE PAID ATTENTION DURING THE LAST CHAPTER!
*Ahem* Ehe, sorry about that. But seriously, if you don't know what's gonna happen, you'll find out soon enough.
Also, OH MY PRIMUS WRECKER RADIOACTIVE AND RAISINGHEARTEXCELION LIKE MY STORY?! Now only if Kalium Hydroxide commented as well... and journal129... and Diamond White... hey, I can hope, right?
I do not own Transformers in any way, shape, or form. I only own my story idea and OCs, because if I did own Transformers, they would have better accuracy with their weapons, and the Autobots would be less trigger happy. Without further adieu, here is the chapter!
WARNING! Highly mature rating is in part of this, so I'll tell you guys when you should start avoiding if you don't wish to read it.
Rose waited patiently in front of Luna's door, Ark sitting next to her stabilizers with a bored expression on his faceplates. After a few more moments, Luna finally opened the door, her large frame blocking their view of the room.
"Hey, Luna, sorry we're late. Lost track of time."
"Don't worry about it!" Luna replied, a wide grin plastered on her faceplates as she stepped to the side, showing that everyone was already there.
Rose and Ark walked into the room, and they sat down between Blacklight and Sonic in the large circle. Luna took her seat next to Springer and Bulkhead, then proclaimed rather loudly, "Let the game begin! I'll start us off!"
"Inside voice, sweetspark. No need to be so loud."
Luna remained quiet, her optics scanning the group before her. Her mismatched optics soon lit up, and she said, "Cee, truth or dare?"
"Truth." Arcee replied immediately, her legs crossed in a lotus position.
"Do you have a crush on any mech at base?"
"None at the moment. Now it's my turn." Her blue and purple optics scanned the group, before she said, "Ember, truth or dare?"
"Dare all the way, baby!"
"Alright. I dare you to... kiss somebot in this room."
Ember merely shrugged, leaned over to Lightning, and gave her twin a quick peck on her battle mask.
Everyone except for the team of young femmes and Luna stared at her in shock, and Arcee asked her, "Wait, isn't she-?"
"My sister? Yeah. Your point?"
"Don't you feel at least a little awkward?"
"Not really. We used to do it all the time on our home planet."
"WHAT?! Why?!"
"Ah-a-a! It's my turn!" Ember said, wagging a digit at them. she then started to hum thoughtfully, her optics scanning everyone underneath her visor. "Blacklight, truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"Alright! I dare you to... say every word backwards for the next five times you have to talk!"
"Thgirla. Esor, hturt ro erad?" Blacklight asked, pointing at the femme Prime.
"Truth."
"Od uoy evah a hsurc no tobyna ta esab?"
Rose thought for a second, trying to decipher what Blacklight had just said. Once she had, she blushed lightly before muttering silently, "Yes..."
"Ohw?"
"Sorry! Not part of original question, so I don't have to answer!" Rose replied quickly. Before anyone could object, she said, "Bulkhead! Truth or dare?!"
"Uh, dare?"
"OK! I dare you to... oh! I dare you to dance like a ballerina for three whole minutes!"
Bulkhead groaned slightly, but got up to do so none the less.
Ember smiled evilly, and discreetly pulled out a video camera to record it. For the following three minutes, Bulkhead jumped, twirled, and danced like a ballerina, all while having a sour look on his faceplates.
Once he finished, he plopped back into his spot, blue optics scanning the crowd. When he found his target, he immediately asked, "Sonic, truth or dare?"
"Hm... I choose... truth." The communications officer said, rubbing Silver gently behind the audio receptor.
"What's the story behind Silver's opiluk?"
Sonic immediately tensed up, and the other five new Wreckers had somewhat similar reactions.
"Bulkhead!" Luna yelled, smacking the larger green mech on the arm hard. "You don't just ask her that!"
"I-I'm sorry! if it's such a big deal, I could-!"
"N-no, it... it's alright. You guys deserve to know, and if we're gonna work as a team, you need to know this story." Sonic took a shuttering breath in, her chest puffing out slightly, and then she exhaled. Looking down at the sparkling in her lap, she said rather slowly, "I guess... it all started when I was a youngling, back on our home planet..."
I was an innocent little femme, not really knowing there was anything wrong in my life. I had seven older siblings, and our opiluk left before I was sparked, so I never knew him. We were poor, and lived in the slums of the main city. My danniluk was worried, because a week before I was supposed to be sparked, a medic that was kind enough to check on my danni told her that I had the Omnicron Virus. He then suggested-
"Wait, you had what?" Bulkhead interrupted, a confused look on his faceplates.
"Oh, have you never gotten that here? Well, I'll explain it. It's basically this super virus that you could either get from airborne spores, or somehow get when your spark is being formed inside your carrier's spark chamber. If you get it before you're actually sparked, there is an extremely high possibility of your spark flickering as soon as it leaves the chamber. If your spark doesn't go out,the virus will actually slowly drain you of all of your energy, and it prevents your systems from developing any antiviruses, along with disarming any natural defenses you may have. There have even been cases where it causes several major systems to fail, such as the cooling fans, T-cog, or even energon lines. A permanent side effect of being sparked with it is purple optics, which is why I have the color optics I have now."
The Wreckers shared brief glances with one another, then focused their attention back on her, waiting for the communications officer to continue.
Sonic cleared her vocalizer, and continued on with her story.
As I was saying, the medic had suggested to my danni that she just abandon the spark she was carrying, because even if I did survive being sparked, it would be too much for her to take care of both a sparkling with the Omnicron Virus and the six she already had. But she refused, confident that I would survive.
Luckily, she was right; I survived, and I actually showed very few of the signs that the Omnicron Virus normally showed. In fact, it seemed as though my antiviruses were enhanced rather than crippled. The medic was rather shocked at this revelation, and proceeded to study me for the next few solar cycles. However, he didn't return one cycle, and my danni decided to move us to a different location. It wasn't until many stellar cycles later that I discovered that he was killed by an insane mech, whom thought that he was Megatron or something like that.
Anyways, as the years went by, I continued to grow and learn. It seemed as though I had a remarkable ability with technology.
Then, one day, I ran into a rather tall mech with kind blue optics. He apologized, and said his name was Hellion. I remembered my danni talking about this mech; he was the greatest inventor our planet has ever known. Excited, I introduced myself, and asked him to help my family unit. After taking him to my danni, she explained our situation to the mech, and he agreed to help us. He offered us a place in his housing unit, along with free energon and a job for my danni. He said he would provide for us until my danni had enough for us to take care of us on her own. Also, he had been impressed with my skills as an inventor, so he decided to make me his apprentice.
For a long while, all seemed all right with the world. But one day, my danni didn't return from work. At first, my seven siblings and I thought nothing of it, as she would often stay after to get some extra credits. It wasn't until the first lunar cycle had ended that we started to panic. My eldest sibling, a mech by the name of Blast Wave, was about to go searching with some of his friends, as he was a well-trained body guard at this point. However, he was stopped when our doorbell went off. Excited, I went to get it, expecting to see my danni, a smile on her faceplates and some excuse for as to why she was so late. Instead, I was greeted by the sight of Hellion with a cop - and my danni's mangled frame in his arms.
When all of my siblings were there, the cop explained what had happened according to the security cameras they had checked. A mech had jumped my danni on her way back from work, and had killed her by ripping out her spark chamber. The mech then proceeded to destroy the rest of her frame, leaving nothing untouched.
Overrun with grief, I ran away from my housing unit, my siblings yelling my name. They tried to chase after me, but I had transformed into my recently acquired motorcycle form, which was significantly faster than all of theirs when I went into my turbo mode. For a while, I just drove, not really knowing what I was doing. Then, when the others were nowhere in sight, I transformed, stumbled for a bit, and leaned against a wall. I stood there, staring at my reflection in a puddle for a second. Then, I just started to cry as I slowly slid to the ground. I just sat there, crying with rivers of coolant flowing from my optics until I had no more coolant left.
I heard heavy footsteps nearby. Mistaking it for Blast Wave, as he was a rather tall and bulky mech, I waited until the footsteps were next to me. Once they stopped, I looked up, but my optics widened when I saw the mech was not, in fact, my eldest sibling. I tried to run, but he grabbed my servo and effortlessly pulled me back to him. He forced me to look into his blood red optics, and almost immediately, I knew what he intended to do with me.

Halfway through the second lunar cycle, I found myself chained to a berth, stripped of all of my armor and low on energon. The mech approached me slowly, a hungry gleam in his optics. Before I knew it, he was on the berth next to me, trying to pry my spark chamber open.
I tried to kick, scream, punch, even bite the mech, but my efforts were futile; he soon managed to pry my spark chamber open, and continued to force me into a spark bond with him. For the rest of the lunar cycle, he did as he pleased with me. Both fortunately and unfortunately, I fell unconscious from energon deprivation a few earth hours after the forced bond.
When I came back to, the mech was gone. I tried to call any of my siblings through our bonds, as I couldn't last night. I hoped that with him gone, I could contact them with no problem.
After several agonizing nano-clicks, I finally heard Blast Wave say, "Sonic?! Where are you?!"
Sobbing through the bond, I explained everything I could remember, and gave him my coordinates.
A joor or so later, the mech returned, the hungry gleam still in his optics. However, before he could reach me, the door was blasted off of its hinges, and standing where it once hung was Blast Wave, his giant gun smoking and my other siblings standing behind him. While he and my two other brothers took care of the mech, my three sisters unchained me and helped me put my armor back on, giving me fresh energon to get me going. By the time I was fully refueled, my brothers had left the mech in a pile of twisted metal and energon leaks. He was still online, but I'm certain he wished they had just snuffed his spark.

The following deca cycle went by mostly uneventfully. Hellion became our official guardian, the mech was found muttering something about Unicron having it out for him, Blast Wave met one of my fellow apprentices, a femme seeker by the name of Silverwing, and I continued in my studies under Hellion. However, I soon started to notice frequent flashes through my spark, but shrugged it off as the forced spark bond being incomplete. But, at the end of the deca cycle, I had suddenly gone unconscious when I was in the middle of a conversation with Silverwing, whom was telling me that Blast Wave was rather 'cute'.
Sonic blinked slightly, taking another deep breath. "When I came to a few moments later, I saw Silver Claw in my friend's servos. Luckily, she also had minor knowledge in the medical field, namely on sparklings." She looked down at a now recharging Silver before continuing by saying, "And, well, there you have it. Before you ask, no, Silver doesn't know about her opiluk. I haven't seen that pit-spawned son of a glitch since that one night. Heck, he probably doesn't even know Silver exists."
"That - that's horrible!" Arcee remarked, a horrified expression on her faceplates.
"Scrap! If I had known it was that bad, I would've kept my vocalizer shut! I'm so, so sorry for making you remember that!"
"No, no, it's okay. Really, I'm fine. That was a long time ago, and besides, I love Silver Claw, and I wouldn't give her up for the universe." Forcing on a smile, she said, "Anyways, it's my turn."
They all shared glances with one another, but decided to just go along. After all, nobody really felt like arguing with her on this. While it seemed that he was just watching the game with boredom, Ark was actually staring at Silver, a thoughtful look in his optics.
Sonic scanned the group, her purple optics looking somewhat distant. "Hey, Rose, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
An evil smile spread across her features. "Who's your crush?"
Rose began to blush madly, and she asked her communications officer, "Uh, can I actually change that to a dare?"
"Alright, I dare you to tell us who your crush is."
Rose's blush intensified, everyone staring at her expectantly. Eventually, she muttered something, but it was too quiet for anyone to hear.
"I'm sorry, what? I couldn't quite hear you." Ember said, leaning forward slightly. She enjoyed watching her leader struggle, and wanted this to last as long as possible.
Rose repeated whatever she had said a little louder, but they still couldn't understand her.
"I still can't hear you~!" Ember said, a wide grin on her faceplates while her twin had an evil gleam in her optics.
Her entire faceplates now covered in her deep blush, Rose finally yelled, "Optimus Prime! My crush is Optimus Prime!"
"Knew it!"
"Called it."
"Why am I not surprised?"
Her blush somehow getting deeper than what it was before, Rose asked the group, "Was it really that obvious?"
"Kinda."
"Yup!"
"Sweetspark, you're about as subtle as Starscream is loyal."
Rose pouted, the blush fading but still remaining on her freckled cheeks. Then, her optics homing in on her target, she asked, "Roadbuster, truth or dare?"
"Dare." Roadbuster replied, playing with a random bullet with a bored tone to his voice.
"I dare you to stand on one servo while saying the alphabet."
Roadbuster planted a single servo on the ground, and effortlessly lifted himself off the ground. He then proceeded to say, "The alphabet."
As he lowered himself onto the ground, Rose exclaimed, "Wait! That's not what I meant!"
"Too bad, you should have been more specific." He replied, already looking for his target. "Lightning, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"What did Ember mean when she said that you two used to kiss a lot back on your home planet?"
"There were plenty of mechs that believed we had rather... 'desirable' frames. So, the two of us would pretend to be a couple whenever we went out in public. It never really bothered us, though, since it was basically our own way of showing how we really cared for one another."
Roadbuster nodded his helm, satisfied with her answer.
"Now, Rose, truth or dare?"
"Seeing as how there's nothing else embarrassing for me to reveal... truth."
"Why is Ark always at your stabilizers, glaring at anybot that gets too close to you?"
"In all honesty, I have no idea. I think it has something to do with the fact that I tried to protect him from Starscream and his trine."
At the mention of the Decepticon seekers, Ark's audio receptors perked up and he let out an audible growl from his vocalizer.
Rose looked down at the black Predacon, asking, "You really don't like them, do you?"
Ark shook his head from side to side.
The femme Prime chuckled as she rubbed his audio receptor, muttering, "Oh, if only we knew more about you..." then, turning back to the others, she said, "Alright, now it's my turn! Let's see... oh! Jade, truth or dare?"
The small seeker jumped slightly from being called on the spot before stuttering, "U-um, dare, I-I guess...?"
"Alright! I dare you to sing Lightning by Alex Goot!"
"What kind of a dare is that?" Topspin asked the femme Prime, a questioning look in his optics.
"Jade hates to sing in front of people."
"Do I have to?" Jade asked, her voice bare over a whisper.
"Sorry sweetspark, but that's the rule." Luna said, a sympathetic smile on her faceplates.
Jade sighed before clearing her vocalizer, and started to sing.
"She's staring me down with those electric eyes,
No matter how hard I try,
I can't escape that gaze tonight,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
Oh,
I'm hypnotized by the way she moves,
Baby girl please help me soothe,
Imma take you to the sun and the moon,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
Oh,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
Yeah,
And I've been catching myself thinking of it,
It was three in the morning,
Every day I chase after her,
But I can't catch lightning,
Catching myself thinking of it,
It was three in the morning,
Every day I chase after her,
But I can't catch lightning,
No, I can't catch lightning,
She'll make you believe anything she wants,
Make you think that you're the one,
She will keep you there,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
She's way up in the atmosphere,
And I've been catching myself thinking of it,
It was three in the morning,
Every day I chase after her,
But I can't catch lightning,
Catching myself thinking of it,
It was three in the morning,
Every day I chase after her,
But I can't catch lightning,
No, I can't catch lightning
Oh I can't catch lightning,
Yeah,
I can't catch lightning,
She's staring me down with those electric eyes,
No matter how hard I try,
I can't escape that gaze tonight,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
That girl's up in the atmosphere,
Oh,
She's way up in the atmosphere
And I've been waiting, waiting, waiting for you,
Anticipating,
Chasing after things that you do,
But I can't catch lightning,
Waiting, waiting, waiting for you
Anticipating,
Chasing after things that you do,
But I can't catch lightning,
No, I can't catch lightning,
Oh yeah,
No I can't catch lightning,
Oh I can't catch lightning,
Oh no,
I can't catch lightning."
As Jade finished singing the song, the Wreckers in the room all cheered and clapped at her performance, which made her blush deeply as she tried to hide behind her servos.
Once the cheering had died down, she peeked out from behind her digits, muttering, "T-Topspin... truth o-or dare?"
"Dare!"
"O-oh, um, okay. Um, I-I dare you to, um, ch-challenge the twins to a prank war."
"Sunstreaker and Sideswipe? Piece of-"
"I meant our twins."
Topspin blinked, and turned his helm to look at the two. Ember had a malicious grin on her lips, while Lightning had an evil glint in her optics.
"It shall start tomorrow, my friend."
Topspin could only gulp at Ember's remark, her grin widening. Then, turning back around, he said, "A-alright, my turn."
He looked around for a brief moment, before asking, "Sonic, truth or dare?"
Sonic didn't reply, and continued to pet Silver's audio receptors as if she hadn't heard him.
"Um, Sonic? You there?"
The communications officer looked up, and said, "I'm sorry, what? I must have zoned out for a second."
Luna and the younger femmes shared glances; they knew that Sonic almost never zones out, and when she does, it's because something's up.
"I asked if you wanted truth or dare."
"Ah. Well, I'll choose truth."
"Alright then, what were your siblings like? If you don't mind me asking, that is."
Her optics suddenly lit up, and Silver's left audio receptor twitched slightly in her recharge.
The femmes, other than Arcee, let out a relieved breath. If there was one thing that cheered up Sonic, it was talking about her siblings.
"They were amazing! I would spend all of my free time with one, if not all, of them."
"Would you mind telling us about them?"
"I would love to! First and foremost is my oldest sibling, Blast Wave. He was always so strong and compassionate, willing to give his spark for a complete stranger if it was the right thing to do. He hardly ever acted out of anger, unless it involved me or one of my other siblings. He took it upon himself to defend all of us, which is why he joined the Elite Guard."
"What rank was he?" Bulkhead asked her.
"Commander of his team, second-in-command to the head of the Elite Guard. He also transformed into an attack helicopter, and packed a rather impressive amount of firepower."
Springer gave a low whistle, muttering, "Impressive."
Sonic nodded, before continuing. "Next is my oldest sister, Windwaker. She was always daydreaming about something. The only thing that could draw her attention for more than a few minutes was a story, whether it be one she's reading or one she's writing. She was always so calm, so welcoming. If any of us had a problem, she would be the first one we would go to. She could transform into a modified jet that could easily travel through space. When we were smaller, she would often let us ride in her cockpit as she flew across the night sky, telling us about all of the constellations."
"Sounds like one great sister." Whirl commented.
"Sure was. Oh, and then there was Polaris, my second oldest sister and third oldest sibling. She had always dreamed of becoming an astrologist, and would often go out at night and watch the stars. It was actually Polaris that started to make Windwaker take us on rides, along with being the one that got her into constellations. She transformed into a research vehicle with several pieces of equipment for astrology attached to it." Leaning back slightly, she then said, "Polaris had a twin, a mech by the name of Pyro. He was actually a firefighter, and took the saying 'fight fire with fire' to spark. He transformed into a Cybertronian version of a human's Humvee."
"He would occasionally join Lightning and I in our pranks." Ember added, smiling fondly at the memory.
Sonic nodded before continuing. "Then last, but not least, is the second set of twins, Lotus and Dion. And, I guess you could call them combiners."
"They were part of a combiner team?" Twin Twist asked the communications officer.
"Actually, the two of them were one of the few cases of a combiner duo. Lotus, a wondrous and cheerful femme, could transform into a stealth jet, while Dion, a calm and somewhat closed off mech, could transform into an attack helicopter. Once they combined, they went by the name of Frost Burn. And, unlike most combiners, they were still capable of transformation! But rather than either of their previous alternate modes, Frost Burn could transform into a somewhat large jet, also capable of interstellar travel, and was armed to the protoform with weaponry."
"Wow. Your siblings sounds amazing, Sonic." Springer remarked, leaning back slightly.
"Yeah. I only wish you all could have met them personally..." Sonic responded, getting distracted again. Quickly snapping out of it, she said, "Hey, Broadside, truth or dare."
"Eh, I'll go for truth."
"Why did you guys single out Sentinel for our prank? Other than being a royal glitch, that is."
"He wants any and all Wreckers to be eliminated." Broadside instantly said, a red glint appearing in his optics.
"He claims we're 'too dangerous', and that we pose a serious threat to the Autobot army." Roadbuster added sourly.
"Luckily, Prime - er, that is, I meant Optimus - won't buy it and keeps us around." Bulkhead stated, though it was still clear how much he disliked the notion Sentinel provided.
"Wow. Now I'm really glad that we pranked him!" Sonic exclaimed as she and the others started to laugh at the memory of what they did to Sentinel.
"Alright, my turn." Broadside said, looking around. "Hey, Blacklight, truth or dare?"
"Hturt."
"How is it that you and the others seem to already know Sentinel, even though you're all new to base?"
While the others were at a lost for a moment, Sonic already had a response planned. "With Blast Wave being second in command of the Elite Guard for our sector, we had access to all Elite Guard records. One day, we stumbled upon Sentinel's profile, and we immediately disliked him for numerous reasons."
Broadside nodded, saying, "Makes sense."
Before anything else could be said, Luna jumped up and proclaimed, "As much as I would love for this to continue, we must stop for now! Now, everyone, GET OUT! I NEEDS MA REST!"
Everyone started to laugh, and one by one started to leave the room. Before Rosalina left, the femme Prime gave the slightly older femme a tight embrace, saying, "Thanks for letting us come, Luna."
"No prob, Rose!" Luna cheerily replied, hugging her back.
Rose broke away from the embrace, and walked to her own room and berth, Ark at her heels.
The others did the same, and soon enough, all of the Wreckers were in their respective rooms, trying to get some recharge.
Sonic stared up at the ceiling of her room, Silver sleeping peacefully next to her. She missed her family, and while talking about this dimension's version of her siblings had helped a little, it still didn't get rid of her pain. Then, for about the umpteenth time that day, she tried to reach for her siblings through the bonds she had, but nothing came back. She could have sworn a few times that she felt something tugging at th bonds, but by the time she tried to respond, it was gone. She needed something, anything, to tell her that they were still alive.
When she came up with nothing again, she decided to just get some rest. She curled up closer to her sparkling, wrapping a protective arm around her.
And there you have it! The past of Sonic Boom (in this universe) has been explained! Really sad, I know, but were it not for that event, she wouldn't have Silver Claw.
Alright, serious question time. *Puts on really cool shades* In the comments, I want you to tell me... which pairing do you want to see in the next chapter? This question will stand for about a week before I start writing it, so hurry up and choose! Also, the poll! I need you guys to check out the poll! It shall decide the future of this story! (Not really, but it would definitely help.) And that's it!
Til All Are One,
- Alpha
