Hey there everyone. Welcome to the second chapter of Puppy! This was going to be a one-shot but I got a revelation and decided to turn it into a short story.

Inuyasha could only stare at her. He wasn't sure that he had heard her right. Was she serious? She wasn't joking right?
Meanwhile Kagome looked back at her husband with hopeful eyes. She had nothing to fear right? After all they had been through, he wouldn't get upset…right?
Inuyasha continued to stare while re-playing what she had just said. Was this really happening to him? To him of all people? He couldn't believe…
Much to Kagome's surprise Inuyasha began to laugh. "What's…so funny?" she asked confused. Wasn't this supposed to be serious? "I'm not joking you know…" she said after a while, her feelings somewhat hurt.
Inuyasha shook his head. "No Kagome." He said still chuckling. "It's just that all my life…I never expected this to happen. And now it is!"
Kagome smiled, relived to see that he had at least taken this somewhat seriously. "Well you never expected to get married either did you now?"
Inuyasha, now done laughing, nodded his head and took his wife by the hand.
"You're right about that. I guess I really shouldn't be surprised than eh?" Inuyasha kissed Kagome on the head as she wrapped her arms around him.
"You're happy with this…right?" she asked somewhat already knowing the answer. Inuyasha wrapped his own arms around her as he smiled.
"Why wouldn't I be happy when the woman I love is going to bear my pup?"
