Hello yet again! Sonic?
Sonic: Alpha does not in any way own the Transformers franchise, they are the rightful property of Hasbro. Alpha only owns his characters and this story, alongside personal headcannons.
Thank you. Now, for the chapter!
Rose stepped into the rec room, stretching, "At long last - a day off!"
Ark simply looked around the room, scanning each bot carefully.
The femme Prime went to grab two Energon cubes from Swerve, then went to sit down at one of the tables. "Here ya go, bud," Rose stated, setting one on the ground.
The Predacon ate from it slowly, as if he expected it to attack him at any minute.
She merely giggled at him, sipping from her own high-grade slowly.
There was a tap on her shoulder, followed by a familiar voice asking, "May I sit here?"
Rose smiled a little, turning to face him, "Of course, sir."
Optimus chuckled, sitting across from her with his own cube of high-grade, "Please, just call me Optimus. We're not on duty."
"Whatever you say," she replied, still smiling.
The Autobot commander lowered his battle guard, drinking from his cube of high-grade.
She stared at his faceplates for a moment, trying not to let her heating fans kick in, "... Why don't you show your faceplates more often? This is, like, my first time seeing them."
"Hmm? Oh, that. Well... I've just gotten used to keeping it up, I suppose."
"Huh... Well, if it means anything, I think you should try keeping them down more often," Rose suggested with a smile, "You look real nice."
Optimus blinked at that, "... I see. I'll keep that in consideration," he replied with a smile.
Ark looked between the two from his position on the ground, his head knocked to the side in curiosity.
Rose took another sip from the cube of high-grade, her faceplates flushing a little. The taller Prime noticed this, but simply chalked it up to the drink and nothing else.
"So, OP, what brings you here?"
"I had the day off, and it's been some time since I had a good cube of high-grade. You?"
"Same here, actually."
"Ah, I see. Swerve certainly knows how to make some good Energon, doesn't he?"
"He sure does!"
The two Primes continued to chat, Rose's cheeks flushing some more from the drink.
"H-Hey, Op, ya - hic! - ya wanna hear a joke?"
"Certainly."
"O-Okay, so - hic! - s-so there's a fine line between the numerator and denominator," she was already cracking up as she stated through her laughter, "and only a fraction of people would get that joke!"
Optimus laughed wholeheartedly, beaming, "That was a good one!"
The femme Prime was laughing too hard to reply, falling out of her seat.
Optimus looked down at her, "Are you alright?"
She nodded, still laughing uncontrollably.
The red and blue mech glanced at her spilled Energon, "I'm guessing you're not used to high-grade?"
Rose nodded, still laughing.
Swerve walked over, cleaning the spill with a light blue rag with a smile, "I think it's time somebody went back to her berth."
"Aww, c'mon Swerve~ One more drink~"
"Nope, you've had enough."
"Aw..."
"Come here," Optimus stated calmly, picking her up gently as his mask slid back into place, "I'll carry you."
"M'kay~" she replied giddily, wrapping her arms around his neck.
The huge mech started to head for her room, Ark following close behind. They received a few weird glances from the bots they passed, though otherwise nothing happened before they got there.
Optimus looked at her door, "Here we are."
"Oh, already~?"
He nodded, pressing his servo against the scanner next to the door to open it. He walked in, setting her down on the berth, "There you go."
"Thanks for - hic! - for carrying me~"
"You're welcome, Rose."
"Can ya lean over for a sec~?"
He blinked in confusion as he leaned over, "What for?"
"This~" she pecked a kiss on his battlemask, giggling.
His optics flickered in surprise for a brief moment, his heating fans kicking in.
She giggled again before passing out.
Optimus slowly stood straight again, then stepped out of the room, closing the door behind himself as he placed a hand on his mask.
"... I'll have to keep it down next time."
