(The Search For Emma)

*May 16th, 1941*

*4:40pm*

*Day of the Festival*

*Jackson Private Academy*

Nancy and Mai saw Emma running from the academy as it caused them to worry as they pondered on what happened to Emma.

"Emma, why is she running? I hope she's okay…" Nancy had spoken quietly to Mai as they attempted to catch up to Emma however they realized that she was too far as they quickly came up with another solution.

"I'm worried about her. Let's quickly tell Anya and the others about this, okay?" Mai had advised her friend while Nancy nodded her head in agreement as they quickly started to walk towards their destination as they noticed that Anya, Helen, and Calvin were also looking for Emma as well much to their relief.

"Nancy, Have you seen Emma by any chance? She went to the washroom but we haven't seen her since and we're quite worried about her…" Anya had asked her friend in a worried tone of voice as her question met with Nancy nodding her head in confirmation; however it wasn't one of happiness.

"I did but she was running and as soon as I attempted to catch up to her, She was too far from me and Mai's sight…" Nancy had answered back in a worried tone of voice which caused everyone to be much more concerned as this sparked an idea from Helen.

"Alright, we're gonna split into groups so we can find my little sis, okay? Nancy and Mai will search together, Anya and Calvin will search together as well while I'll go solo so let's not waste anymore time and find Emma…" Helen had advised everyone as her words were met with nods of agreement as everyone eventually ventured off to find Emma.

*Anya and Calvin*

Anya and Calvin wandered off in order to search for Emma while they discussed why their friend could had wandered off.

"I hope Judith didn't say anything to her that could had caused her to run away! I know Judith well than anyone in this school.." Calvin had spoken to Anya as his words were met with her nodding her head in agreement as she began to speak.

"I agree, I truly hope Judith didn't do anything to our friend but we should focus more on finding Emma than trying to get anything out of Judith…" Anya had advised Calvin as the pair continued their search for Emma as they looked over to see Megan and Lisa talking amongst themselves which was followed by the pair looking back at them as they suddenly walked towards them much to Anya and Calvin's dismay.

"Good Afternoon, I didn't expect to see you and Calvin together but how are you guys doing?" Megan had asked the pair in a fake polite tone of voice which was followed by Anya rejecting Megan's words with such an attitude which surprised Megan.

"We don't have time for your games, We're finding Emma right now so please leave us alone…" Anya had advised Megan as she and Calvin attempted to walk away from Megan and Lisa to avoid wasting any time however Lisa managed to speak.

"Emma? Well, We was originally gonna get you suspended from this academy while Calvin gets detention but we decided to do something more personal…" Lisa had spoken to Anya as this caused her and Calvin to stop right in their tracks as they turned their direction back to the pair much to the pleasure of Megan and Lisa.

"What do you mean by that? What exactly did you guys say or do to Emma?!" I hope you guys didn't hurt her" Anya had spoken out in a stern tone of voice as she and Calvin waited for further response as this was met with Megan and Lisa chuckling before speaking once more.

"Easy, we know about Emma's secret and it's that she has feelings for another girl since we've read her diary. So we're pretty much telling you guys to stay away from her or else the whole school will know…" Lisa had spoken out in a smug tone of voice as this revelation disgusted Anya due to the fact that Emma was being mistreated.

"So what? I don't care if Emma is gay or not. We'll accept you no matter how she feels! You, Megan, and Judith truly need to get a life…" Anya had spoken to the pair while Calvin nodded his head in support of Anya's words.

"That's low of you guys, Why would you do such a thing and invade Emma's privacy like that? Is it because Judith is such a jealous person to the point where she's willing to put someone's personal information out in the open?" Calvin had spoken back in a rather pissed tone of voice while Megan and Lisa simply stood in silence before Megan spoke once more.

"Hey, we're just following Judith's orders so we can't give you a direct answer but remember what we've said…" Megan had answered back with a smile on her face as she and Lisa attempted to walk past them however Megan felt Anya's hand grabbing her shoulder as Anya began to speak.

"Stay the hell away from Emma. She doesn't deserve none of this stuff that she's going through, okay? We don't care about who Emma likes or not! We're still gonna hang out with her…" Anya had spoken to Megan and Lisa in a very angered tone of voice as she managed to let go of Megan's shoulder in the process as they had rather surprised looks on their faces.

"F-Fine! Do whatever yall want but we're just gonna tell Judith so she could tell everyone!" Megan had spoken back in a somewhat startled tone of voice as she and Lisa suddenly began to take off from the scene much to Anya and Calvin's relief.

"Whew, I'm glad that's over with but let's try searching for Emma, okay? If she's not at the academy than…" Calvin had spoken to Anya as he quickly had the realization that their friend could be going somewhere that was gonna be bad for her.

"New York is a big city so we gotta find her, quick! I can't afford to lose one of my best friends!" Anya had cried out to Calvin as the pair quickly ran towards the direction which the exit was at as they continued to search for Emma.

*Nancy and Mai*

Nancy and Mai were searching for their friend with such worriness in their hearts as they wondered about the whereabouts of their friend.

"I'm terribly worried, There's no signs of Emma anywhere…" Mai had spoken to Nancy in a sad tone of voice as she quickly felt a warm touch of comfort from Nancy, "Don't worry,

"We're gonna find her, I just know it! We've just gotta have some faith, that's all '' Nancy had advised Mai as her words made her smile as she nodded her head in agreement.

"You're right, we can't lose hope! I'm sure Emma is around here somewhere…" Mai had spoken back as she and Nancy continued their search for Emma.

*Anya and Calvin*

Anya and Calvin were searching around for their friend as they asked many civilians however most of them denied seeing any signs of Emma however they managed to find luck with one civilian.

"I saw a girl walking around but she looked quite sad. She seemed to be one of those academy students but I did saw her going back to her school or something.." The Civilian had spoken to Anya and Calvin as his response was met with the pair nodding their heads in understandment.

"Thank you so much, It seems me and my friend has to go back to the academy.." Anya had spoken to the Civilian in a polite tone of voice as she and Calvin quickly ran back to the academy which wasn't that far as it had taken then less than ten minutes to reach the academy

"Okay, You look inside of the girl's dorms while I search the other side of the school, okay? Emma should not have gotten that far…" Calvin had spoken to Anya as his words were met with Anya nodding her head in agreement as he and Anya went in opposite directions.

"If I find Emma then I'll bring her to you guys and visa versa, okay?" Anya had spoken to Calvin once more as the young boy gave her a thumbs up before going off to search for Emma.

"Don't worry, We'll find you, Emma!" Anya thought to herself as she ran towards where the girl's dorm was at and managed to open one of the doors due to it being unlocked as she quickly searched for Emma's room.

"I remember Emma telling me that her dorm room is 123 so I just gotta find that number! Please be okay…" Anya quietly spoke to herself in a worried tone of voice as she eventually found Emma's room much to her relief as she opened it to find her sitting on her bed with a depressed look on her face as she looked up to see her friend.

"Anya, why are you here?! I bet Judith told you that I'm gay, did she? So please stay away for me, please… I don't want the whole school to know. I don't want my sister to know…" Emma advised Anya in a sad tone of voice as she started to sob.

"Emma is truly hurt by all of this but I gotta talk to her! Just being there for her is all that matters…" Anya had thought to herself as she was ready to talk to her friend.
