"Today is finally my birthday, I can't believe I'm sixteen years old now. Time sure goes by fast" Anya had spoken to herself as she got up from her bed and proceeded to get herself ready for her big day which taken her no more than thirty minutes.

*7:43am*

Anya had entered the kitchen as she was greeted by her family who had smiles and looks of joy on their faces.

"Happy Birthday, my little pumpkin! How does it feel to be sixteen? I'm sure it feels great" Anastasia had spoken to her daughter in a tone of joy as she and Anya embraced in a warm hug which made Anya happy.

"Thank you so much mother, It honestly feels swell being sixteen and I can't believe It's gonna be two more years until I'm officially a young lady…" Anya had spoken back with a smile on her face as the pair released each other from the hug as Anya was quickly met with another hug from Frederick which surprised her.

"Happy Birthday! You got any plans for today? You don't wanna miss later today…" Frederick had spoken to his older sister as he looked over to see his mother putting her finger on her lips with a smile on her face which prompted him to stay quiet as he smiled as well.

"Thank you so much and I'm just gonna to school, hangout with my friends and go back home, why?" Anya had answered back with a hint of curiosity in her voice as she waited for her answer.

"Nothing much, just asking but I hope your birthday goes swell!" Frederick had spoken back as he saw Anya going towards the door as he saw her turn around.

"Hey, where's dad? Did he left for work early or something?" Anya had asked her mother as her question was met with Anastasia nodding her head in confirmation.

"I'm afraid he did but he did told me to tell you that *he wishes you a very wonderful Happy Birthday and that he's proud to have you as his daughter *" Anastasia had spoken back to her daughter with a smile on her face which made Anya smile back as she was clearly happy with what she've just heard.

"I'm glad to hear that, I'll be sure to tell him thanks once I get back home but until then, I'll be heading to school and thank you guys so much for the birthday wishes, It truly means alot to me.." Anya had spoken back to her mother as she left her home while closing the door behind her leaving Anastasia and Fredreick alone.

"Alright! Now that the birthday girl is officially gone. We can now start Operation: Birthday, isn't that right?" Anastasia had spoken to her son as the young boy nodded his head in excitement as the pair quickly went upstairs to start on their plan.

Anya finally arrived at the school as she was greeted by her friends.

"Happy Birthday!" Anya's friends cried out in a tone of joy as everyone gave her a hug which made her smile.

"Awww, Thank you guys so much, The kind words truly makes me happy.." Anya had spoken back to her friends with a smile on her face.

"You're welcome, I know feeling sixteen must feel great but I have a present to give you and one from Emma as well so I hope you enjoy them" Charlotte had spoken to her friend as she handed her a card and a wrapped up gift.

"For me? Thank you so much and please tell Emma the same thing as well but Is it a good time to open them?" Anya asked Charlotte as her question was met with her nodding her head in approval as she opened the card first.

"Anya, I wish you a happy birthday and that it's filled with nothing but positive and wonderful times. Thank you so much for being such a good friend and accepting me for who I am so as a little birthday gift, I managed to send you some money that should be mailed to your house - Love Emma" The card read as this brought a smile to Anya's face as she held it close to her chest.

"I truly appreciate the gifts, Thank you so much Charlotte and please be sure to tell Emma the same thing as well, okay?" Anya had spoken out once again as she was met with a nod of yes from Charlotte as the gang proceeded to walk their way towards school.

"Can't believe summer is almost here, I still can't figure out what should I do during that time frame" Russell had spoken out as he pondered on his plans for the summer while Nancy began to speak.

"Maybe try going to the beach or Corny Island since these spots seem to be quite swell and popular during the summe" Nancy had spoken back while Russell nodded his head in agreement.

"Not bad, I should consider that for the time being" Russell had spoken back to his friend as he and the gang continued to walk towards the school building until they made it to their classes.

"So, what kind of cake do you plan on getting for today? I hope it's red velvet like last year" Charlotte asked Anya as she sat down on her desk while waiting for her answer.

"Ummm, Maybe the same as last year but my parents did tell me that they've already picked up my cake so I'm expecting something different which is fine by me" Anya had answered back as this made Charlotte nod her head in understandment.

"I see, I'm glad to hear that! It makes me happy that you're happy, my good friend" Charlotte had spoken back to her friend as the girls shared a smile together as they heard the bell ring indicating that class had started.

"Alright class, please settle down, we have a very special day today…" Miss Joyce had called out to the class as she entered the room in such a good mood as Anya knew what was coming.

"Today is Anya's birthday so I would like everyone to make her day feel special by wishing her a happy birthday, okay?" Miss Joyce had called out to the class once more with a smile on her face.

"Happy Birthday, Anya!" The class cried out in joy with some people cheering as this made Anya even more happy as she got up from her desk.

"Thank you so much everyone, and thank you as well, Miss Joyce. The birthday wishes truly mean so much to me" Anya had spoken back to Miss Joyce and the rest of the class as she had taken a seat once more as class was in session as she looked out towards the window.

"Today was a good day, I'm wondering what my family has planned since my mother and brother were acting quite odd but I guess I'll wait until I get home…" Anya thought to herself as she continued to stare out of the window with sheer excitement for what's to come on her special day.
