Anya and Linda were ready to defeat the boys in tennis as they waited for Micheal to serve the ball.

"Hey, Are you ladies done talking? I don't wanna eat Lunch with our game being unfinished so let's get this over with" Micheal had spoken out to his cousin and sister as this caught both of their attention.

"Yeah! Yeah! I was just talking to my cousin, that's all so don't rush me, okay?" Linda had spoken back to her brother as she was ready for the next part of the game while Anya was preparing as well.

"I know, I know, I just wanna settle this game before mother is done preparing lunch so you and Cousin Anya better be alert!" Micheal had advised Linda as he tossed the ball into the air as he proceeded to hit it as the ball was flying towards the girl's directions as Anya was ready to return the serve.

"Don't worry, I got this one so just figure out what to do on the next serve!" Anya had advised Linda as the young girl nodded her head in agreement as she saw Anya running towards the ball before eventually leaping up to the air as she successfully returned the serve with all of her might.

"Let's see if you boys can hit this one" Anya had spoken out in a playful tone of voice as she saw the ball rushing towards the boy's direction as it successfully missed both players thus scoring thirty points for the girls.

"Darn, These girls are good, I guess we gotta step our game up, Isn't that right, Brother?" Micheal had spoken to Alexander as the young man nodded his head in agreement.

"You got a point, We don't wanna have any regrets for the game so let's try even harder!" Alexander had spoken back as he and his brother were ready to win the game.

"Alright, thirty love for the ladies over there but don't get too comfortable! We'll get serious from here…" Micheal had spoken out to his sister and cousin as he quickly served the ball but with more power this time around as the ball quickly dashed towards the girl's side which caught them off guard thus scoring thirty points for the boys.

"Hey! No fair, That was a hard serve so that doesn't count…" Linda complained to her brother while Anya watched the conversation unfold.

"There's no such thing as fair in sports, my good sister so it's best to get used to that fact" Micheal had spoken back as he let out a chuckle much to Linda's dismay as she rolled her eyes.

"I mean, Linda is right but I honestly don't feel like arguing so if we win then you and Alexander better treat us if we go out one of these days, okay?" Anya had spoken back to Micheal as her statement was met with the boy nodding his head.

"Surrrre, That is IF you ladies win the match!" Micheal cried out in joy as he served the ball once more as it was coming to the girl's direction once more however Linda successfully returned the serve with great power.

"Nice serve!" Anya complimented her cousin as this made her smile.

"It's nothing, I'm just good that's all annnd you said that my brothers are gonna treat us so that's gotten me fired up" Linda had spoken back as she saw Anya returning the serve that had just come from Alexander's direction.

"Yeah but I'm glad to see you having a good time today so that makes me happy" Anya had spoken back to her cousin as she let out a smile.

"I'm just in a rare good mood, that's all but I'm usually the grouchy Linda with no friends or anyone to talk to '' Linda had spoken back as she quickly returned the serve that came from Micheal's direction.

"That's not true, well, I know you don't have any friends but you can always talk to me if you want, okay? I'm always willing to talk" Anya had spoken back to her cousin as she saw Linda returning the serve once more as it went towards the boy's direction thus scoring forty points for the girls.

"Anya, please don't say that. That type of pity is not gonna work on me so better luck next time but let's not talk about that, alright? I'm just honest with myself so I don't want people to feel pity for me…" Linda had spoken back in a stern tone of voice as she got herself ready for the final phase of the game.

"Oh, okay. If that's how you feel than I'll respect your wishes but I'm always here if you need anything" Anya had simply responded back as her words were ignored by Linda as this caused Anya to feel slightly discouraged.

"Hey, are you ladies done? It's forty love meaning that if you guys score one more time than it's game over so yall better start getting serious" Micheal had advised to his sister and cousin as both girls nodded their heads in agreement as he quickly served the ball as it came towards the girl's direction.

"Alright, let's not get our heads in the clouds now since we have a game to win!" Linda had finally spoken back to her cousin while she successfully returned the serve.

"Y-Yeah! I shouldn't get too distracted but thanks for the heads up" Anya had thanked her cousin as she saw the ball quickly coming towards her direction which caused her to run towards the ball as she quickly and successfully returned the serve.

"You're getting good! I like that but let's see how long this streak can keep up.." Micheal had spoken out in full confidence as he quickly returned the serve as it was now dashing towards Linda's direction.

"You are always so smug! That's why you and brother are gonna lose…" Linda had spoken out as she quickly ran towards the ball however she tripped over and was about to fall on the ground as time slowed down for her.

"Welp, It seems the boys are gonna score, meaning that the game is tied, meaning that they'll have the willpower to win the game and it's all because of me. I'm sure Anya isn't in the right headspace to play the game after I told shrugged her off but I can understand why since nobody wants anything to do with me anyways…." Linda thought to herself as she slowly accepted her mistake however she quickly felt Anya saving her as she saw her cousin mustering some power in her right arm to return the serve as it missed the boy's thus making the girl's the winner of the game.

"A-Anya? You saved me, T-Thanks…" Linda uttered at in surprise as she was met with Anya smiling at her.

"Of course, I know this game means so much to you so I still had the power to save you and win the game but more importantly, I'm glad you are okay…" Anya had spoken back as she noticed Linda was slowly crying however she was toughen it out as she began to speak.

"Why are you so kind to me? Is it because you are forced to be this way?" Linda asked her cousin as Anya shook her head.

"No, I'm kind to you because I WANT to be kind to you. It's not because I'm forced or obligated to but rather It's in my heart to be kind to you" Anya had answered back as she smiled warmly at her cousin.

"I don't deserve people like you, I truly don't so I'll believe your story for now but I'm sorry for my attitude earlier…" Linda had apologized to her cousin.

"It's okay! I know you can get annoyed when I'm pestering you but it's because…" Anya could only utter out as the girls could hear Michael's words.

"Hey, Are you guys okay? The both of yall won the game!" Micheal cried out in excitement as this quickly caused both girls to get up from the floor.

"Oh yeah, We've won! Nice job!" Anya cried out in joy as she jumped up and down like a child while Linda watched everything.

"It's odd? I'm starting to have a good time with my family and at times I feel like nobody truly cares for me. I'm glad that people like Anya is there for me but I still feel like she's pitying me for sympathy points like everyone else but another part of me is trying to accept her and the rest of my family's love. Anya, you are so annoying yet so kind to me…" Linda thought to herself as she smiled in victory and the thought of Anya's kindness as she went over to celebrate with her family while the sun shroned on San Francisco.
