A/N: hey guys welcome back to another chapter! This is where you learn more about Aki and what she's like! I want to thank everyone who has favorite and followed it really means a lot considering my Haikyuu stories are underrated since I prefer to write Nishinoya fanfictions rather than Hinata or Kageyama fanfictions. Oh well I'll do what I love. Anyway before we begin, I would love to respond to our reviewer!

Sapphire: awww thank you so much I enjoy writing fanfictions about my boi! I agree that there aren't a lot of Noya fanfics. I don't mind Asanoya, I think it is cute when they get protective, but it is true there aren't a lot of Noya fanfics that is just Noya centric. There is one Noya fanfic I can recommend that doesn't involve Asanoya and that's called Chisumi (Blood Ink). I recommend reading that if you haven't already. Also this story will contain scenes with Noya and Asahi, but the story isn't revolved around them. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Anyway guys, this is my early Xmas present for you (if you celebrate Xmas)! I hope everyone has a happy holiday (whichever holiday that may be). Enjoy!

I own nothing of Haikyuu!

Nishinoya had to blink a few times just to make sure he wasn't imagining it. She was really here standing right in front of him. He hasn't seen her in years. She has grown so much since then. Her brown hair was longer and she was wearing light red eyeshadow.

"Yuu! It's so good to see you! Man you've grown a bit since the last time I've seen you!"

Before Nishinoya could react, Aki ran and hugged him.

"It's been a few years, hasn't it, little brother?"

Nishinoya stood in shock, not even hugging back as his sister hugged him. Before he could say a word, his parents walked in. That's when Aki let go of the hug and looked over at their parents.

"So I see you've already seen her," Mrs. Nishinoya smiled.

"Yea uh…what is she doing here so suddenly?" Noya asked.

"Well…she lost her job and didn't have enough money for rent," Mr. Nishinoya explained. "So she's going to stay with us until she's more financially stable."

Noya's eyes widen before looking towards Aki.

"You are?"

"Of course!" Aki smiles at him. "It'll be like old times!

Yuu put on a smile as he towards her.

"Yea!"

"Well, we'll let you two catch up! Go ahead upstairs!"

Aki smiles as she grabs Yuu's hand.

"Come on Yuu!"

Noya smiled as the two of them ran upstairs and into the guest room, which Noya only assumed his sister would be staying in. Aki closed the door behind her, and Noya heard a click afterwards…meaning that Aki had locked the door. The smile Aki had was suddenly gone as she faced her little brother.

"Long time no see, huh Yuu?" her bright cheery voice suddenly sounded deeper and intimidating.

"Why are you really here?" Noya asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Whatever do you mean, Yuu?"

"You told mom and dad you were here because of financial issues. I want to know why you're really here!"

"I wasn't lying," Aki shot Noya a look. "I really did get let go from my job and was having a hard time finding another one. I got behind on rent. Does that answer your question?!"

Noya crossed his arms. "Why were you fired? Was it because of how much an asshole you were?"

Aki clenched her fists before marching up to Noya and grabbed him by the shirt.

"I would watch your mouth if I were you, little brother! Don't forget, I'm stronger than you'll ever be! I can knock you out in two seconds!"

"Go ahead and try! I freakin dare you!"

They both glared at each other before Aki roughly let him go.

"You're lucky mom and dad are home or else you'll be dead right now!"

"Is that a threat?!"

"Oh of course not! And even if it was and you told anyone, who's going to believe you?! I'm a woman so that means I can't be abusive! I can easily say you're assaulting me and they'll believe me over you! So if I were you, I'd stay silent! You know, just like old times!"

Noya glared at Aki as she smirks.

"Looks like you've gotten some spunk since I left home. Well, it has been a few years. Looks like I'll have to re-educate you on who's boss around here!"

"You can try! I'm not that scared little kid anymore!"

She smirks. "We'll see about that."

Noya glared at Aki as she leaned against the wall.

"So, mom and dad told me you're still playing volleyball. Surprised you're still playing considering how weak and pathetic you are!"

Noya rolled his eyes. "I'm awesome at it. And I don't see you being the libero of a volleyball team. Hypocritical if you ask me."

"In due time little bro. You'll just see how terrible you really are. You already suck as a libero. The reason why you're a libero is because of your pathetic height! Seriously Yuu! You're a second year and you're this short!"

Noya fought back to start screaming at her about his height. However, he knew she was trying to provoke him, so he took a deep breath and looked at her.

"Let me out of the room, Aki. I'm done talking."

"But I'm not, little brother."

Noya narrowed his eyes. "I said let me out!"

"Or what? You're gonna tell mom and dad? They won't believe you!"

Noya wasn't asking anymore. He charged at his sister to try and push her out of the way. Aki was quick to react as she squeezed Noya's shoulders hard and slammed him face first into the wall before she put one of his arms and a strong hold behind his back. and grabbed his hair. Noya bit his tongue from screaming out. He didn't want to show that he was weak. He didn't want to hear her insulting words.

"Did I say you can leave?!"

"I don't need your permission to leave!" Noya grunted.

Aki tugged his arm harder.

"I can easily break your arm! That'll put you out of commission!"

Noya grunted and tried to move, but also feared that his sister would actually do it. Suddenly, he felt his arm and hair get released as he looked to see Aki back up.

"But if I did that, people would start asking questions. Can't afford to have to run your mouth, do you? But then again, who would believe you?"

Noya glared at Aki before turning to unlock the door quickly. Aki only stood there as Noya unlocked the door and he left the room. As Noya walked he sighed.

"Still the same bitch that I've known since we were kids. Whatever. I'm not the same scared little kid I once was. She won't get me," Noya thought.

He sighed as he went to his room and locked the door behind him. He really didn't want his sister to barge in and make more of a shitshow. As he laid on his bed, his phone started to buzz. He looked at it to see it was from Tanaka.

"Hey man, did you get home ok?"

Nishinoya sighed before texting him back.

"Yea I did. I didn't run into some crazy knife wielding maniac like you said I would"

"Aw man! It would've been awesome to watch you kick his ass!"

Nishinoya chuckled slightly as he rolled his eyes.

"I can easily kick your ass Tanaka"

"In your dreams shortie!"

"Shortie?! Oh hell no! You're dead tomorrow Tanaka!"

"You gotta get me first!"

Nishinoya laughed to himself. This was just what he needed after what just happened with his sister. He was hoping she'd move out ASAP. He hates having to deal with her. He also didn't want to tell the others about his sister. After all, who would believe him since he's never mentioned her to the others? Also, his sister was right about one thing.

Who would believe that a woman is abusing a man?

A/N: annnnnd that's it! Ngl as I was writing Aki, she was pissing me off too. Also yes I brought the whole "women can't abuse men" thing because that is unfortunately an issue we have today. I am a woman and I believe abuse is abuse no matter the gender. Also it may seem like Noya isn't too scared of Aki right now, but that's because he hasn't seen her in a few years. However, I did try to make it subtle that there are still some lingering fears. Anyway, please tell me your thoughts and/or constructive criticism and I'll see you all in the next chapter! Buh bye!:)

Ps once again, happy holidays!
