Haruki is six years old when her grandmother passes away. She's six when she becomes a vessel for the 9 tailed fox. The other vessel is sixteen, and its Uzumaki Kushina.

Orochimaru is gone more and more, probably doing research in his labs.

Shizune is becoming quite the medical prodigy.

Kakashi is always rude to Haruki.

Jiraiya is gone.

And Tsunade is sad.

"It's okay if you love him, you know," she tells her mother one day.

"What are you on about, crazy?" (A new nickname her mother started calling her)

"I'm talking about you and Jiraiya. I know you love him, and he loves you. But he doesn't know, why don't you tell him?"

Her mother gives her a look of disbelief," alright that's the last thing I should be hearing from my spawn. You need a nap" and Haruki was plucked from the floor where she had been playing with her dollies. Only after her mother laid her down to nap did she speak again, "I just want you to be happy,"

Tsunade kissed her softly on her cheek, "I am happy my baby, I have my precious daughter with me always."

"But you're sad because you miss him, if you tell him how you really feel, he'll stay next time. If you don't want to tell him, at least ask him to stay longer, so you're not so sad."

"I'll think about it honey," her mother went to shut the door, probably to get research done. "Wait!" Tsunade paused right before she shut the door and looked at her expectantly.

"Can you tell Ochi-oji-chan that I miss him, only if you see him. Please?"

Her mother smiled and thought how typical of her daughter to ask for her teammate "Of course I'll let him know," and rub it in his face that he'd better get his act together if he wants visitation rights at all. She scowled at that thought process remembering that particular argument.

Shortly after Haruki became a vessel, after she would reach R.E.M sleep, she began to hear the growling. It sounded weak and tired at first more like huffing, but night after night it became louder and louder. Until one night it reached its peak, the demon roared at her so loud it started her out of her sleep. Her dream of dancing in a flower field shattered to pieces and she started to cry.

Of course she knew, she knew that Kurama was difficult in the beginning. Naruto worked really hard for his trust. But it's different from an outsiders perspective than to actually be that person. Hearing the growling that was absolutely terrifying her. Of course, the fox wanted out, it would kill her himself to get out. And that thought scared her more than anything. She was hearing him and every single night, it was the same. She couldn't sleep, she was too terrified. The circles of her eyes started to go dark.

It was a week after that particular night that Orochimaru finally did show up. He came over for lunch. When Haruki spotted him, and once he recognized the darkness under her eyes he was kneeling in front of her in a second. She didn't throw herself towards him like her mother expected her to. Instead, she looked down as silent tears escaped her eyes.

Orochimaru acted first, surprising them all. He took her into his arms and lifted her up in a caring embrace. "I'm sssorry it took me so long to get here."

She instantly hugged him back. "I missed you so much Ochi-oji!"

Who knew that when she was born here, she would get so attached to the first main antagonist of Naruto. Not her.

It's been far too long! Anyways, I really enjoyed writing this chapter even if there was no real plot to it. Words thrown up really. But if any of you reading this are like "omg I've been waiting for an update for Stars" well my laptop is still broken. I basically can only update on . Wattpad won't let me.

Thanks for reading 3
