The living quarters were full of life and conversation. The students of 1-A were excited to get to know their new classmates.
Trish, Yukako, and the Girls of 1-A
The girls in 1-A were all sitting on the couch area of the common, near the TV. They saw the two new girls come towards their sitting area. One of the girls got up from their seats and went to introduce themselves. Her hair was made up of several locks of brown, two of which extended past her face to her neck. She had wide, brown eyes, a flashy smile, and slight blushes on her cheeks. Her fingers each had small little pads, where there was less skin. Her name was Ochako Uraraka, a training hero with a slight crush on Izuku she kept sealed.
"Nice to meet you both. I'm Ochako Uraraka. Welcome to UA!", she said enthusiastically.
"Hello Ochako. Thanks for having us here," Yukako responded, with slight enthusiasm on her face.
"Yeah, thanks!", Trish spoke, "Just asking, but do you have any sparkling water? I'm in the mood for some."
Another one of the girls responded to Trish's inquiry. Her hair was a dark, swampy shade of green, extending all the way down to her waist, with a big knot towards the end. Her eyes were wider than those of Uraraka, and her mouth was shaped like a simple line. Her name was Tsuyu Asui, or as her friends called her, Tsu.
"We have some in the fridge, I'll go grab you one. Ribbit." Tsuyu then got up from her seat, and hopped towards the fridge, and lept back with amazing speed, the bottle coiled up in her long tongue.
Trish had a slight expression of shock before wiping the saliva off of the bottle, and saying "Thanks."
"So which schools did you both attend before coming here?" Another question was posed from the group of girls. She was a tall figure, with black hair, slightly combed and spiked to the side. Her name was Momo Yaoyorozu, the other representative of Class 1-A.
"I went to the local high school in my small wasn't anything special," she then switched to an over-the-top, affectionate voice, "other than meeting my sweet Koichi!"
Trish spoke next. "In Italy, there aren't a lot of hero high schools. I was homeschooled for a while."
"That's really cool!" an energetic voice came from the group of girls. Her black eyes had yellow irises, and her skin was a light shade of pink. She had horns growing from her pink hair, almost as if she was an alien. But there was a human under that alien "body", and her name was Mina Ashido.
"Ok, on to the big question! Who's your crush?"
Yukako kept that display of affection she had on earlier...for a short time, "In case you couldn't tell, I have feelings for Koichi. We're an actual couple. So if ANY of you TRY to make a move on him..."
Her sweet facade boiled into anger at the drop of a dime. She banged the nearby table and stood up, her left eye twitching.
"I'LL KILL YOU!"
There was a small silence from the people in the vicinity of Yukako's rage.
The girls were still shocked by her sudden outburst, their hair spiked up from the gusts of her bellows.
Mina resumed her questioning, facing Trish with the utmost excitement, "What about you, Trish?"
"Me?" she was slightly caught off guard, "...Nobody just yet."
"Are you sure? Everyone here's got someone. Look at Uraraka, she's got the hots for Midoriya!"
Uraraka too was caught off guard, and started yelling, "Mina! That's not true!" She became flustered quickly, her face a tomato red. She put her hands on her face to conceal the visible evidence of her lies. At the moment, her legs came off from the floor, and soon her whole body began floating. For minutes on end, she rotated and moved through the air, as if gravity was negated by her own touch. (Which it was)
Yukako responded to Uraraka's flustering.
"So your Quirk is Zero Gravity. Interesting...Let me help you down using mine…"
With that, the ends of Yukako's hair began to stand up on their own, raising up in the air with the absence of wind and gravity, seeming to grow like the beanstalk the fable hero Jack climbed. It softly wrapped around Uraraka's body and brought her down to the ground. As doing so, Uraraka touched the tips of her fingers, which looked like laced-on pads, and she stopped floating.
The girls nearby had awe written on their faces. Seeing the new girl in action was a sight to behold.
"Spectacular!" Yaoyorozu exclaimed, "So that's your Quirk!"
"That's right!" Yukako said with a slight grin on his face, "It's called Love Deluxe, and it allows me to manipulate my hair in any way. There's a lot I can do with it, and I'm hoping to explore more possibilities!"
The girls continued to talk for a while before it was time for lights out. Meanwhile…
Okuyasu, Narancia, Kirishima, & Kaminari
The eager-faced Okuyasu and laid-back Narancia went up to two of the boys standing in the common area. The first boy had a tall, lean stature, a witty expression across his face. His eyes were bright yellow along with his hair, frizzled and a black spot on the left side, as if he had been electrified in that spot alone. It was the electric hero-in training, Denki Kaminari.
Standing next to him, was another man with a similar stature, but rather than his hair being frizzled, it was spiky and shot straight up. His eyes were a crimson red, along with his hair, and his teeth spiked up as a smile, the unbreakable hero in training, Eijiro Kirishima.
"Hey, nice meeting you," Kaminari said, "I'm Denki. Denki Kaminari."
"Cool name!" exclaimed Narancia. "I'm Narancia Ghirga, all the way from Italy!"
"I'm Okuyasu!" said Okuyasu.(Funny, right?)
"I'm Kirishima! Hey, what's with the scars on your face Okuyasu? They look so manly!"
Okuyasu paused for a second to think. His response was oblivious to all the thinking he did just ten seconds ago.
"I don't know! I've had them since I was young."
"Really?" Kaminari responded.
"Yeah! Say, are you excited for tomorrow!"
"You betcha," Kirishima responded, "Wonder what kind of heroes we're gonna see!"
"Yeah, I'm excited!" Narancia cut in, the eagerness of tomorrow's training pumping through his blood.
"Say Narancia," said Okuyasu, "I think your mentors are gonna be there."
"Oh yeah, I forgot."
"Really? That's so cool", Kaminari responded
"Yeah! They're both great! You'll get to like them."
The boys continued to chatter for the rest of the night, the manliness each spoke with radiated through the rooms. Meanwhile, the brains of the were about to hold a symposium.
Fugo, Koichi, Iida, and Todoroki
Iida saw two of the boys standing around and decided to greet them. He extended his hand out, still square and tense.
"It's nice to meet ya! I'm Tenya Iida, the Class President of 1-A. It's nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you as well." Fugo responded.
"Great to get to know you." responded Koichi.
"I guarantee you'll enjoy the education and student life as well as the academics."
"Thanks," responded Fugo, "So there are regular academics here as well as the hero course?"
"That's correct! Math, history, science, English, it's all here!"
Todoroki interrupted the conversation, holding a bowl of soba he pulled from the fridge, with its cold vapor still dissipating across the room "The food here is also good."
Koichi posed an inquiry, "Seems you got that soba straight from the fridge. Why didn't you warm it up?"
"Soba tastes better cold, in my opinion. And, since my Quirk allows me to use fire, I could just heat it up whenever I wanted to."
Fugo responded, "I'm personally a fan of spaghetti."
"The cafe has awesome food cooked up each day by Lunch Rush," Iida spoke, "In fact, I think we're having Italian cuisine tomorrow."
"That's great to hear! Hopefully, they have a variety of sauces. I'm a fan of alfredo sauce."
The rest of their group went on about the luxurious cuisine of Italy and other academic interests that appealed to their taste.
Josuke, Giorno, Deku, and Bakugou
There was a small quarrel still erupting on the toothbrush hypothetical when Josuke and Giorno stepped in and tried to end the quarrel.
"Hey you two!" said Josuke, "What seems to be the trouble?"
"This idiot bought me a new toothbrush when I didn't want one!" yelled Bakugo. He walked a few steps forward, still using the new toothbrush with great intensity.
"Come on Kacchan," said Deku, "I was just trying to be nice."
"It certainly did look like an act of kindness", came from Giorno, "So, you're Izuku Midoriya, or should I say Deku."
"Yep! How did you know all that already", Midoriya broke into a small, cold sweat.
"Let's just say… a little bird told me." Giorno chuckled, and then lifted his finger up to the ceiling of the dorms. There was a small, black crow, hovering above their entities, constantly squaking and chirping
Midoriya's small sweat became a deluge, and a slight panic began to set in, "Woah! Koda, is this bird yours?"
The bird flew down as Giorno took his upward-facing finger and tilted it 90 degrees, and opened the rest of his hand. The bird swooped in and made a comfortable landing on his hand. What happened next was interesting, to say the least. The bird quickly metamorphosed and shifted into what seemed to be a card. Giorno then lifted his hand, the card lifting with it, slowly turning through the air, and landing in Midoriya's hands. The card had four words with large print on it: Provisional Hero Permission License.
Midoriya stood in shock and was checking his pockets. Yep, it wasn't a replica, but the real deal. He barraged Giorno with a bunch of questions.
"How did you get this?! The pocket I had it in was closed! What did you do?! Why was it a crow?!"
"Easy there, mi amico. It's a combination of my Quirk and my pranks."
Josuke butted in with an arm around Giorno's shoulderline and giggled, "Come on Giorno, we don't want him to think you're a criminal!" He pointed to Izuku with a big thumbs-up and said "Don't worry, he was just using some of his party tricks."
Meanwhile, Bakugo was still standing to the side, continuing to brush. In a small lull of silence in their conversation, Deku, Giorno, and Josuke could hear Bakugo brush.
Brush. Brush, brush, brush. Left brush. RIght brush. Brush. Left. Right, left right, up, down, up, down, left, right, left right, SNAP!
The toothbrush snapped into two and made a small thunk as it dropped to the ground, and slid over.
"DEKU! THE NEW TOOTHBRUSH WAS DEFECTIVE!"
"I'm sorry, Kacchan! But you brush so intensely. I'm surprised your last one managed to keep up."
Josuke walked towards the damaged toothbrush, eyeing it closely. Grabbing a hold of it, he turned towards Bakugo and Midoriya.
"There's no need to yell. I can fix it."
"Yeah right!" screamed Bakugo, "What are you gonna do? Crush it in your hand and open it up with it being good as new?"
And that's exactly what he did. Clasping his hand together, a quick, pink aura with a grey outline emanated around Josuke's hand, resembling another closed hand just like Josuke's. It was followed by a yellow aura inside his hand. When the aura dissipated, Josuke slowly opened his hand, and inside, the toothbrush was completely mended, as if the crack had never been there at all.
Midoriya stood in amazement, as it was something he didn't think was possible.
"Wow, Josuke! You got a cool Quirk! So it can fix objects?"
"Yep! I can take apart objects and reassemble them. I can even heal others. For example, let's say your friend Kacchan over probably has his gums bleeding from the intense brushing he did."
And funny enough, that was the case. Bakugo's gums were intensely bleeding, as if the blood was about to fall out of his mouth. Josuke calmly walked over and put his finger near his mouth.
"Woah, hey dude!", said Bakugo with bloody lips, "I didn't give you permission to come clo-"
Josuke grabbed a hold of his chin, and the pink-grey aura was again emanated. Miraculously, the blood on his gums went away, and the pain was not even there. It was as if he never brushed his teeth at all...other than his sparkling teeth.
"There. You're welcome."
"Give me that!" as he took the brush away, "I didn't need your help, Shitty Hair!"
…
(Author's Note: ...I think you know what's gonna happen. If not, go to Part 1.2 or read Josuke's Reference Sheet)
After the fisticuffs, Josuke once again healed Bakugo's face, bruised from all the punching he did.
"Sorry for getting physical. When someone insults my hair, I just break into an uncontrollable rage."
"But Josuke," said Midoriya, "You have bruises too. Can't you heal yourself too?"
"Unfortunately, I can't. I can heal anyone in the world, but not even myself. That's where Giorno comes in."
"My Quirk can also allow me to heal things, but by contact with inanimate objects." With that, Giorno took a string of cloth he found on his shirt and gave the necessary touch (no, not what you JoJo fans think it is) and Josuke was healed.
"Wow, I can't wait to see what else you all do tomorrow!"
"We're excited for the training as well. For now, let's get some sleep."
"Good night, Deku, Golditalian and…", Bakugo stopped for a second trying to think of another that wouldn't get him punched, "..Pompadorus."
"Same for you Kacchan.", responded Deku.
The students, new and old, continued their lovely conversations for another hour or two before returning to bed.
?
"Seems as if the Joestars have settled into their new lives pretty well."
"They cannot hide from us for much longer."
"What was the plan again? With all those heroes, our numbers are too small. Our identities could be discovered easily."
"We're going to get assistance. Heard there's a worn-down warehouse where our 'allies' are going to be… I don't know whether to trust them just yet."
"If the Noble One told us to go to them, then they have a lot of worth. Of course, we could beat them into submission if they refuse to cooperate. Steal their memories while we're at it."
"We must make the first move...and draw the first napkin. Only then can the plan be put into place."
"Let us wait another night. Meanwhile, we can go get some others to join our ranks."
