The students of beacon shuffled along the hallway, ready to experience their weekend.
The storm that had been going on throughout the entire week had finally ended, allowing clear blue skies and generous rays of sunlight to fall upon Beacon Academy. The pleasant weather was met with predictable action as the students of the huntsman school interacted in various ways. Some chose to relax while others were more excited to experience the weekend.
One group of students in particular were lounging within their own dorm. The sun peered through the curtains of large open window and the shadow of a screen fell onto a red circular carpet. Four haphazardly and dangerously made "bunk beds" were occupied by their respective owners who were enjoying the rare opportunity to relax after a hard week of school and harsh weather.
This is Team RWBY. The all huntress team that bared the highest marks in both academics and combat, considered as the top of their year by both their teachers and fellow students. They had taken the chance to unwind by peacefully indulging in their respective hobbies.
Ruby Rose, a short fifteen year old girl and semi raven read head. The youngest of her team who occupied the role of team leader and a sniper-scythe wielding prodigy was sitting on her bed, tinkering and maintaining her precious weapon while searching her scroll for materials, ammunition and potential upgrades.
Yang Xiao Long, a rather...well developed blonde young lady at the age of seventeen and the brawler of the group was enjoying her time lazing on the bunk bed above Ruby's. She was playing one of the many games she had downloaded on her scroll which she often occupied herself with during professor Port's lectures.
Weiss Schnee, the shortest of the group and esteemed heiress of the Schnee dust company adorned in her signature intricate dress was flatly lying on her domain of sleep as her white hair loosely hung on her pillows, reading one of the many books that she had acquired that covered the topics of advanced dust use while simultaneously polishing her nails.
Blake Belladonna, resident cat Faunus and team ninja was hidden behind the privacy of the white blankets she had propped up as a make shift tent as her bed hung from ropes that had supported it, being the only reason why her bed has yet to crush the young heiress beneath her. Sitting cross legged and reading one of her 'erotic literatures', away from the sight of her teammates, The raven haired girl was enjoying the silence until...
"Did you guys noticed Nora and Ren head out to Vale this morning?" Yang had suddenly started a conversation with thoughtful tone as her voice was laced with curiosity.
"Yeah? Ren and Nora always go out together, even without Jaune and Pyrrha sometimes. What's weird about it?" Looking up to her half-sister's bed, Ruby had replied to Yang's question with an answer and another question.
"Yes, Yang. What's so strange about those two going out together?" Weiss had finished polishing her nails and had decided to place her input in the conversation.
"As far as the entire school is considered, those two are inseparable and can easily be mistaken for a couple despite Nora's insistence of her and Ren not being 'together-together' as she puts it." Weiss stated without glancing away from her book, placing her bottle of nail polish away to leave her nails to dry.
Blake listened to her teammates discussing amongst themselves, unsure of where Yang was going with this as she continued to indulge in her smut.
"Well, Nora's a lot giddier than usual and Ren was acting kinda weird." Yang glanced down from her bed while the rest of her team were internally questioning what she was on about.
"What do you mean? Nora is always erratic and what made you think that Ren of all people was acting strange?" With a confused look, Weiss had finally looked away from the pages to meet the anticipating gaze of her teammate.
"Wait, we didn't see them at breakfast this morning and you kinda stayed behind for a bit 'cause you ate too much." Ruby, remembering the anomaly that had happened earlier, had said those words as she placed Crescent Rose behind her.
Blake's cat ears perked up as she also remembered the break in routine that occurred during their breakfast but still remained silent.
Weiss patiently waited for Yang's response, allowing the conversation to flow without her.
"Yeah about that, the were later than usually to breakfast cause the slept in but Jaune wasn't with them..." The golden brawler then paused as she swam through her thoughts to remember something.
"Why is that the case?" Blake had finally joined the conversation as she peeked from her covers to meet face to face with Yang.
"Pyrrha said something about Jaune needing some time in and Nora was basically jumping up and down saying Jaune was going through some sort of 'epic transformation'. Her words not mine" Remembering her encounter with Nora, Yang's face warped in confusion when she said 'epic transformation'.
"Huh?" Ruby had adorned the same expression as Yang and was rummaging around her sense of logic and reason to understand what her sister had just stated.
The rest of the group were also thoroughly confused at what they had heard. Blake silently watched from above and Weiss simply raised an eyebrow at the mention team JNPR's leader.
"Ren basically said that it was just a metaphor and Nora was exaggerating again and Jaune was just sleeping in because he did something yesterday. Ren didn't tell me what happened." Successfully quelling most of her team's confusion, Yang placed her scroll beside her to fully participate in the discussion.
"So what was about Ren that was so strange? From what we've heard from you, he doesn't seem be acting unusually." Weiss curtly stated as her arms crossed, looking her partner's sister a questioning expression.
"Well, that's the thing. He was smiling." Sitting upwards on her bed, Yang looked at Weiss as if she was disturbed by the very sight she had describe.
"Why's that bad?" Ruby asked Yang. The rest of her teammates followed her example as the monochrome pair looked at the golden shot gauntlet wielder with what can be only described as skeptical expectation.
"You know how Ren doesn't really put much effort into anything outside of combat or studying?" Yang asked the others as they looked to and fro amongst themselves.
"""Yeah.""" All three collectively stated simultaneously.
"He wasn't like that at all this morning." Shuffling her sheets to take a more comfortable position to continue, Yang quickly explained "He was wearing a 'stupid' smile. You know. The smile you'd usually see on Ruby when you mention 'Extra Large-chocolate dough-melted chocolate chip cookies'!"
As if to prove her point, Ruby was excessively salivating at the mention of the sugary treats while wearing a comically large smile that bordered to being a grin. Here eyes wide with hunger, sparkling with joy and anticipation.
Overall, she looked like one of those cartoon dogs with exaggerated features you would see on TV when they were waiting for a treat.
"SEE!" Yang yelled and pointed out. "LIKE THAT!"
The others also noticed this and gears started to run within their respective heads. Questions on Green clad ninja's odd behavior formed in their mind while they searched for answers and reason. Yang continued to speak.
"He was also a lot less...what's the word?...slow. He wasn't moving like he usually does. Like he was in a rush or something." Yang said as if it was the strangest thing that has ever happened on beacon.
Blake contemplated something for a moment. With curiosity evident on her face, she fell down from her bed, meeting feet first on the ground with a thud.
"Blake? What are you doing?" Placing her own buck away, the heiress abruptly questioned the cat Faunus.
"I finished my book." Blake had simply said. "I need to head to vale to get a new one"
"I'm coming with you." Yang had stated, jumping down from her on bed to meet the floor.
"Why?" Blake questioned.
"Well, I'm bored and have nothing else to do soooo..." The blonde girl shrugged.
"I also wanna see what Ren and Nora are up to." With smirk adorned on her lips yang stretched for a moment and grabbed ember celica, placing them on her wrists. "I also need some more ammo, I'm running out"
"Oh! Oh! Can you get some gravity dust rounds for my baby on the way back, I'm running out to." Ruby had bolted from her bed to give her sister a sum of Lien to spend to get ammunition. Ruby had been using gravity dust to traject herself into the air with crescent rose more recently.
"Sure, baby sis." Yang ruffled Ruby's hair as if she was a toddler, much to the scythe wielder's annoyance.
"Stop! I'm fifteen! Not five!" Ruby yelled.
"Whatever you say, Rubes." Yang lazily replied as she to her hand back to her sides and got ready to follow Blake out.
"We'll be back before noon." Blake briefly stated, gambol shroud sheathed and bow tightly in place atop her head. She swiftly made her way to the door with Yang on tow, her footsteps silent to contrast to Yang's heavy footfalls.
"Cya in a few hours!" Yang shouted as Blake opened the door for her and Yang to exit the dorm.
"Bye Blake! Bye Yang!" Ruby waved her hand up to head to wave at the leaving huntresses in training and adorably bid a temporary farewell to Blake and her sister.
...
Ruby and her partner were on their own as half of the team left to vale, leaving them to their own devices.
Weiss was quick to appreciate the less crowded space, huffing as she prepared to continue her reading. She lied back down on to her bed with a small smile of relief, glad the conversation was finally over. Spending a lot of time with Blake after her reveal of being a cat Faunus came with consequence it seems as it seemed her behavior was rubbing off on Weiss.
Ruby was also prepared to go back to maintaining her cherished creation of death and high caliber sniper rounds but before she could go back to her bead, a loud bang on their door disturbed the pair as an audible 'OW!' resonated beyond the room along with the sound of someone falling on the floor with an audible THUD continued to disrupt the quiet that was about re-establish itself within the dorm.
With a gasp, Ruby quickly rushed to the door to open it only to find Jaune sprawled on the floor, lying on his sides and both hands held tightly to his skull as if to keep his cranium from collapsing like an unstable house of cards.
"Jaune!?" Ruby exclaimed with surprise and worry. "Are you ok?" The red cape wearing girl quickly bent down to help her friend and fellow team leader only to smell the lingering scent of liquor and regret in his labored and tired breath that cause her eyes to widen in shock.
"Yeah! Yeah." The leader of team JNPR slowly rose as he wobbled his way up with effort and disorientation.
Weiss continued to peer into her pages with a look of disinterest and annoyance, fully expecting and bracing herself from the clumsy fool of a knight subpar attempts to woo her.
"I'm fine. Just a really big head ache." He placed his hands to his face and shook his head, grimacing in pain.
"Just woke up on the wro-"
"You're hungover..."
Weiss widen her eyes only to roll them with expected disappointment.
Awkwardness immediately found it's way to the two leaders, surrounding them in an atmosphere of awkward tension so thick that you can physically grasp it.
"Uuuhhh..." Jaune dumbly stood there with an expression of disbelief and caution, thinking of a way to recover after being abruptly interrupted and called out by the young rose.
"Uuuh...Ho-how can you tell that I'm hungover? It's just - uhh - a headache!" Jaune exclaimed. Facial features in a state of alert and back flat straight, trying to sound convincing and propping a solid argument but unfortunately failed horribly, only making himself look more like an idiot.
"Uncle Qrow drinks all the time and I've seen a lot to know what a hangover looks like...and smells like..." Ruby explained.
Jaune grimaced, clamping his mouth shut to stop him from making himself smell more like the red-hooded-huntress-in-training's drunk uncle which he had unfortunately met by being strapped to a simple wooden chair while the disheveled huntsman professionally described in detail the many painful and quick or slow ways he can inflict pain and suffering onto the blonde leader if he ever dared to attempt being in a relationship with either of his nieces only to break their hearts later with a rather intricate PowerPoint presentation in a dark and dusty unused empty staff room that held an old screen projector.
It happened 2 weeks ago and the blonde boy still had that persistent feeling of being watched every time he went outside.
Shuddering from the memory of the clearly planned and practiced Interrogation and threat, Jaune shook his head and looked at Ruby with exhaustion and resignation. Eyes drooping to being half lidded and a guilty smile adorned on his face, Jaune began to speak.
"Yeaaah...Guilty as charged." Jaune shrugged his shoulder and closed his eyes to exaggerate his message through his body movement while Ruby neutrally stood to observe him.
"I drunk a bit too much last night, my team had to find me..." Jaune paused for a moment, bringing a finger to his chin and eyes wondering around the room as if he was looking for something.
"I...don't remember anything at all from last night. Pyrrha didn't exactly say what happened when I saw her this morning." The blonde knight stated with a sheepish expression.
Ruby sighed at her first friend at Beacon's regretful state and quickly walked back to her bed to rummage through her belongings to retrieve something all the while Weiss tried her best to silently ignore the, in her opinion, the blonde idiot across the room by continuing to bury her face in paper.
"Umm...wwhaaat are you doing?" Questioning his short friend's action, Jaune took as step forward, effectively entering the dorm by just the tip of his foot.
"Uncle Qrow can get really cranky sometimes when he wakes up so he taught me and Yang how to make 'a quick pick me up' for Uncle Qrow." Ruby continued to shuffle though her belongings but paused when she finally found what she was looking for.
'Yang and I.' The young heiress' eye briefly twitched at her partner's use of grammar as she mentally corrected her before placing her attention back in reading.
"AHA! There you are!" The sniper-scythe wielder loudly exclaimed, pulling out a small bottle that contained an unknown substance before her.
"This'll help you feel better." Ruby chimed and with a show of her semblance, she bolted pass Jaune and into the cafeteria, soon bolting back with a glass of some sort of clear mixture. The path behind her littered with the gentle slow falls of her aura constructed rose petals.
"Here you go!" The red reaper cheerily chimed as she brought the glass up to the young knight's face with both hands, smiling with empathy and kindness sparkling in her eyes. "This should fix right you up!"
Ruby Rose loved helping people, she really did. To her, it did not matter how small or tedious the action was as long it would allow her to make someone else's day just a little bit more bearable. Becoming a huntress, to Ruby, was an opportunity to increase her ability to help people. She could travel the world, save villages and towns from grimm and give people a sense of hope within difficult times.
Other than her desire to become a huntress, she and Jaune had become very close friends because of their similar views, morals and positions as team leaders. Ruby wanted to be a huntress because of her desire to honor her mother and to perform her want to help people while Jaune also had similar reasons; to live up to his family name and protect others from the threat of the grimm.
The two leaders were 'two peas in a pod' as they saying goes. It was the main reason why got along so well.
Blinking back in surprise at the sudden action from his friend, Jaune steeled his nerves as he placed his right hand on the glass and brought to it up to drink all of it's contents. Ruby watched him down her uncle's favorite hungover remedy, noticing that his cobalt eyes were growing wider with clarity and relief on every gulp.
"Oh Wow!" Jaune finished the drink and stood straight at the sudden relief that washed over him as he finished the concoction that Ruby had provided.
"I feel better already! Thanks, Ruby." The boy showed his gratitude to the young huntress in training by assuming a smile of thanks while reached down to return the glass to it's initial owner.
Ruby gently took the glass out of his hands and bolted back to the cafeteria and back to the dorm in a manner of seconds. To Jaune, Ruby was the epitome of what a huntress should be. She was as quick to smiles and kindness as she was to using her weapon and skill. Her speed unchallenged by anyone else in the school. Her combat skills and sheer strength and strength among the best of her year as she tore through beowolves as if they were nothing but cloth.
Jaune admired all of his friends because to him, they had something he didn't. They had strength, speed and skill. Sure, Jaune had quite the durability but that barely does anything against his spars with Cardin and his training with Pyrrha.
Soon enough, Ruby was back with a line of rose petals drifting down from behind her. Jaune looked upon his friend with an admiring smile and envious eyes as she patted down her combat skirt.
Looking up to her friend, breaking him from his own disappreciating thoughts, the red rose began to speak.
"Sooo..." She awkwardly rocked herself on her heels for a moment before pursing her lips and speaking again. "Why were you hungover?"
Jaune stared at her for a moment looking for a reason to give that wasn't an outright lie.
"Uuh...I was...drinking..." Jaune simply but unhelpfully answered.
"Nooo. I mean...why were you drinking?" Ruby stressed for a moment, trying to get the right reason from her fellow team leader's circumstance of being recently coming out of his intoxication.
"I went to a bar." Jaune flatly stated as he tried buying his time and praying to whatever deity existed to grant him an opportunity to escape his red hooded ally's interrogation.
"Jaune!" Ruby adorably stomped her foot whined.
Across the room, Weiss' left eye twitched out of the sheer annoyance that the two dolts were somehow generating, her face scrunching and brows furrowed with frustration as she tried to busy herself with pages that held instructions for the applicability of dust.
"Why did you go to a bar?" Ruby huffed, still trying to get the main reason for her friend's decision into getting intoxicated.
"I was in Vale." Jaune flatly stated again while palms began to sweat as his time was running out. Eyes neutral bad performing subtle darts that implied his nervousness.
Weiss' left eye twitched again.
"But why were you in Vale!?" Ruby exasperatedly questioned, nay, demanded for an answer.
Jaune was slightly shaking now. His brow racked with sweat.
"...to go to a bar..." Jaune answered again, reversing the progress of Ruby's interrogation as she groaned in annoyance.
"UUGH! JAUNE!" Loudly groaning at the attempt to reverse the conversation, Ruby arced her and brought her palms to her eyes to exaggerate her mood.
Noticing that the leaders were going to be going back and forth with either side gaining ground on the interaction, Weiss had decided that she had had enough. Quickly jumping off of her bed, Weiss stormed towards the two with a ragefull expression that can make an Ursa cower in fear.
"Ruby. Outside. Spar. Now!" Weiss gritted through her grinding teeth, glaring at her team leader and grabbing her by the arm to leave to the sparring ring in hopes to stop their frustrating bickering.
"Wha-Weiss! I was talking to Jaune!" Despite her leader's complaining, Weiss continued to drag Ruby into the hall in order to get to the sparring ring in hopes to of avoiding their bickering and to vent some frustration.
Jaune, meanwhile, was praying his thanks to whatever benevolent deity for granting him freedom from Ruby's relentless questioning and was about to turn the other way to his dorm until...
"Hey Jaune, wait!" Stopping dead in his tracks, Jaune tensed for a moment to slowly look back to Ruby.
Using her semblance to escape her partner's grasp the red reaper dashed towards her friend.
"Are you busy today?" She quickly stated as she grinded to a halt in front of him.
"N-no, not...really." Jaune briefly replied with a fidget, internally cursing to whatever malevolent demon had stolen his miracle from him.
"Maybe you can come with us and watch as spar!" Ruby excitedly stated, hiding her true intention in hopes of bringing her plan to fruition. Something was wrong with her friend and with every fiber in her being, she was going to find out what and she was going to help, regardless of Jaune's attempts to hide it away.
Jaune's eyes widened with excitement for a second, much to his confusion. The idea of watching two of the most skilled huntresses in his year had once filled him with dread and envy. Seeing the two duke it out against each other with their grandiose displays of borderline inhuman ability would have left him frustrated and envious due to his obvious lack of training and proper combat ability but now... He was filled with mild fascination and excitement and he didn't know why.
Unfortunately for Weiss, the blonde boy was unable to contain the alien feeling that had found it's way into his soul, Jaune replied as he seemingly lit up with impatience.
"Sure!"
...
They were in the parring ring, located in Ms. Goodwitch's class. Weiss had asked the telekinetic teacher her permission to use the classroom and much to Weiss' relief, she allowed the use of her class on the weekend. One can never be to sure when honing one's skill in combat as the saying goes, especially when you don't want to die.
Jaune sat upon one of the many chairs that faced the ring. He was excited, very excited...'to excited'. Jaune couldn't understand why he was feeling so forward to seeing what was essentially a glorified reminder that he sucked big time. A wave of adrenaline and anticipation smashed through his body as he watched the red reaper and the ice queen square off against each other, weapons in hand.
The light provided by the room illuminated upon them, obscuring much of their features with the casting of their own shadows. Their aura displayed above them showed their respective aura count. A new temporary rule was set for the aura counter where the fight would end once one of the girl's aura had dipped bellow seventy percent, courtesy of Weiss.
All was still of for a moment. Silence filled the space around and all of a sudden-
*Buzz*
Ruby was the first to move. Her speed allowing her to quickly appear behind Weiss but the snow angel had placed a gravity glyph on the floor where she had anticipated Ruby to appear proving that she knew her leader and partner well. Ruby, under the influence of the impromptu trap, was a immobilized and her momentum ruined and in response, Weiss unleashed a flurry of...heavily telegraphed slashes as she twirled like a ballerina.
'What the hell?' Jaune's thoughts continued to revel in it's confusion for a few strange reasons. First of all, he felt...smug? It was is if he saw someone perform a very avoidable mistake to an extremely easy problem with an unfathomably obvious solution. Jaune brought his hand to his head as his face morphed to mix of concern and confusion. Overall, the poor guy was having a hard time processing what was going on in his head.
Weiss' strikes landed and Ruby's aura dipped considerably while the sword user was still unafflicted with any form of damage. Taking the opportunity to continue the fight on her own pace, Weiss impressively twirled away on a path of glyphs reminiscent to that of a very talented ice skater and adorned a cocky smirk, much to Jaune's confusion.
Recovering from her initial failure to strike at her partner, Ruby recollected her composure flipped away with massive scythe in tow and twirling the blade with great dexterity, mounted the blade onto the ground, preparing to use her range advantage with the strike of dust bullets.
In response, the sword maiden summoned a hail of small nevermores to disrupt her opponent's concentration. Myrtenaster's cylinder rotated to equip the ice dust stored within it's many vials of elemental retribution.
Despite the nvermores pestering her, Ruby continued to stay in her stationary position. Confident that her aim will meet it's target and fired.
Weiss on the other hand danced towards her partner with a she was met with bullet after bullet coming straight for her and seeing that every shot would strike made a decision. The bullets that Ruby used were heavy and high caliber. Deflecting them would leave her vulnerable and the extra effort in redirecting them away from her would only leave her staggered so she had a backup plan ready. Myrtenaster hissed as it readied to serve it's wielder and reaching the element that slumbered within it, the elegant metallic servant bellowed a breath of cold.
Ruby was staring to panic now. Weiss had used her ice dust reserves to create ice walls to protect herself from the sniper's shots, skating closer to her intended target. Switching to fire dust rounds were no longer a good idea for her opponent was to close and Ruby was already at the losing end for losing so much aura at the first interception. Her eyes snapping open as she narrowly avoid another one of her partner's slashes with a blink of semblance.
She didn't go too far, just far enough to use her scythe. Weiss began to sweat as she knew that Ruby was a menace at her own range and was a nightmare as soon as she built up enough momentum to send people flying. Trying to set her eyes to her enemy, Weiss was met with a harsh slash from Crescent Rose. Weiss was caught in a cyclone of pain.
Opportunity graced Ruby's situation for she had her opponent in the right range. She twirled her scythe right after the first slash, one slash became two, two slashes became four, four slashes became eight. Ruby impressively twirled the massive weapon against Weiss, effectively turning into a windmill of death and with the built up momentum of her swings, she sent Weiss flying with one powerful slash.
Weiss caught herself from plunging out of the ring by digging her sword into the concrete, leaving a thin path of property damage in her wake. Grimacing from the pain she received from the powerful strike of the scythe wielder.
Both fighters entered a stare down as they anticipated what their respective opponent will do next, all the while the cobalt eyes of a very specific blonde fraud watched their conflict with a neutral face the shed no emotions.
Both fighter's were becoming impatient.
Weiss stood back up and gracefully spinning, summoned another glyph laced with wind dust beneath her and with the help of the upward wind, flew several feet into the air to summon a glyph platform to keep her distance as she recovered to reassess the situation.
Seeing her partner's attempt to recover, Ruby jumped with the help of her sniper-scythe's recoil to meet her opponent to end the fight. Reaching Weiss, Ruby perform a powerful slash only to be block by the heiress' blade.
Smirking at the denied attempt to build up momentum, Weiss quickly slashed at her partner and her strike landed.
Ruby on the other hand had shot another bullet as the recoil allowed her to land on the glyph platform the Weiss had provided and from there the fight only escalated.
The sparring partners where now flinging themselves all over the ring, clashing and retreating, dashing and flying, striking and blocking as the smell of dust began to fill the room. It looked more like a dance than a fight. Momentum stayed the same and was rarely disturbed. Both combatants performing with inhuman skill and grace, while striking with unbelievable strength and speed. It was art...and to the average huntsman-in-training and civilian alone it was...but Jaune is not the average huntsman...at least not anymore.
*Buzz*
It was over now.
The fight left Jaune far more irritated and annoyed rather than impressed and awestruck or the usual feeling of ineptitude that the blonde boy would usually feel after watching two of the best students come face to face against each other. Weiss had won the fight out of a mistake Ruby did which left the red hooded girl on an activating fire glyph made by Weiss.
Jaune saw things within the fight that made him feel outright frustrated, as if he was denied something that he wanted.
'What's wrong with me? Why am...I (Fight Weiss)' A foreign though entered his mind as the poor boy questioned his own sanity. He brought his hands to his forehead while his face adorned a look of confusion and shock.
'What!? W-Why Would- Wha- Why would I do tha-!? (Fight Weiss)' It happened again, the very insane and borderline suicidal thought appeared again. From past experience, memory and logic alone, Jaune knew that he had absolutely no chance against someone so fully trained and capable as Weiss but for some odd reason his feelings on the matter quickly changed as he remembered the spar that had just occurred before him.
"I-...I actually want to spar with Weiss...I think stop drinking for a while...Like forever." Jaune quietly mumbled beneath his breath as the very idea of him actually considering fighting one of the best huntresses in training did not leave him with the usual sense dread that he should be feeling but instead he was actually looking forward to such a ridiculous event.
Ruby and Weiss stood before each other with bated breaths, despite the minimal amount of damage they received they were exhausted.
"WOO! That was awesome Weiss!" Ruby cheered through her weariness as she quickly dashed towards her partner in hopes to give her a hug. The hug landed and Weiss was sprawled on the floor tired and annoyed but less so due to her opportunity to vent through one of the most exhausting spars she had ever performed.
"CAN YOU PLEASE GET OF ME!?" Wiess shrieked as she attempted to pry the young huntress in training off her and stand up but was only successful in the latter.
"That was great guys!" Jaune had finally made his presence known to the two girls while he walked towards. He had entered the ring not briefly after the fight ended.
"I mean I've never seen someone hit so fast or...yeah." Jaune brows furrowed as he casted his eyes downwards, not in shame, though many can assume so, but in hesitation.
"What is it Jaune?" Ruby sounded worried...again. Weiss in the other hand was completely indifferent as the blonde boy slowly replied.
"Well...I was...wondering...If...I can spar with Weiss."
