U.A. High School, Main Building, Saturday
For our heroes-in training, the day went about normally. In homeroom, more desks were added to accommodate the new heroes. When Mr. Aizawa came in, he gave some more details for the day.
"We have exactly twenty-four heroes coming in to work with you today. As such, combined with Class 1-B, there will be two of you with every hero. Some are already pros, while others are starting out. So teach some of them what you know and they'll teach you as well. Come to the P.E. grounds with your uniforms, not your costumes. That's all, so you'll get more info during the session." Their normal classes continued after that conversation and some more time in the homeroom
In math, Fugo was grasping most of the complex concepts being taught, as if he already knew what to do. Meanwhile Narancia sat there without a clue. When Fugo wasn't answering the teacher or answering the problems on the pages, he was helping Narancia out, even with the basic math. He ended up talking with the mathematics teacher/pro hero Ectoplasm about a modified course for Narancia. What was talked about seems to remain a mystery.
Otherwise, the history and literature classes were mostly normal. The new energy the new students brought in was quite a sight to behold. But before the work with the heroes, there had to have been some lunch. And the excitement on the faces of the new kids seemed as though they had just eaten something spicy.
As Iida had said, Lunch Rush prepared a wide array of Italian cuisine, from classic breadsticks to a whole pasta bar. Fugo and Okuyasu couldn't get enough. But they limited their intake. Deku, Uraraka, Shoto, and Iida, were sitting across from Fugo, Giorno, Okuyasu, and Josuke, each enjoying their food.
"Iida, you were right. The food is delicious," said Fugo "I haven't seen this much food in a while."
"Oi, Josuke," said Okuyasu, "Tonio's got some major competition."
"I'm with you on that."
"Who's Tonio?" inquired Izuku.
"Oh, back in our town, we had an Italian chef whose cooking was Okuyasu's favorite. He couldn't get enough of it."
"He infused his," chew, "Quirk in the food and" chew, "what you ordered was based on what health conditions he saw by" chew, "looking at your hands" swallow "But this is great too!"
Uraraka chirped in, "Well, that's cool!"
Izuku, however, was silent and in deep thought. He was thinking again about the incident last night. It seems as if when Josuke fixed the toothbrush, there was another hand next to him. Was it a Spirit? Is it part of his Quirk? What about Giorno, how did he get my license without me noticing?
"Hey Midoriya," Iida snapped as he moved his hand in front of Midoriya's face, "Are you going to finish eating? You want to have enough energy for today's training."
"Yeah. It's that I was just thinking." He then looked at Giorno, and said "How were you able to get a hold of my license Giorno?"
He responded as nonchalant as possible, "Oh, it's just a prank I pulled with my Quirk. There's an old saying where I'm from. What was it again… oh yeah! 'Here in Napoli, vigilance is a prized virtue.' Where I was from, crime was rampant and you had to stay on your guard the whole time."
"Really? That's interesting"
"Yeah", Uraraka again chirped, "I really want to go to Naples, but I think it keeps flooding in the main square."
Fugo interrupted, "You're thinking of Venice. Naples is farther down the coast and closer to Rome. But we still have a lot to offer there."
And the group went about the rest of their lunch. After English class, they changed into their uniforms. Let's see what these new heroes had to offer.
